Noise from the restaurant and no one doing anything, even after working hours, the crew is singing and yelling in the kitchen and no one cares that this is bothering the hotel guests!!

El señor portero llega ser un poco desesperante, con la cuestión del estacionamiento, ya que no cuenta con estacionamiento y hasta llegar explican lo del valet que son 200 pesos por noche, entonces crea un poco de estrés pq se tiene uno que estacionar en doble fila para bajar las maletas y como la Ona es muy concurrida genera estrés. La presión por salir a las 11:00am fue abrumadora, se olvidó el cargador de mi reloj, mandé mensaje al día siguiente y comentaron que no reportaron nada los chicos de limpieza en la habitación. Así que pues ni modo.

This quaint hotel is located steps from Plaza Santo Domingo. It is immaculately clean, the beds are comfortable and the shower has good pressure. The breakfast served in the restaurant is fantastic. Their breads are all baked on the premises and are delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

The transfer service from and to the airport offered through the hotel was outrageously expensive. For a party of 5 they charged us 2600 pesos the equivalent of $151 dollars round trip. This was beyond excessive. Due to a misunderstanding I had been quoted price for 3 passengers of 1600 pesos ($93 USD) round trip which is what I had agreed to so, I don’t know what a taxi would have cost for 5 people, but this seems outrageous when you compare to CDMX which was $30 each way for 5 people for a longer trajectory and in the capital city. It was my only negative experience with the hotel.

The bed was very comfortable- very firm. We also liked that the place was super clean and functional. Bathroom had a nice sky light and space. They also offer valet parking for cars at a very reasonable price

Restaurant is separate from the hotel so getting a spot for breakfast took some time and wasn't so worth it. However they had a very good happy hour.

The hotel room was lovely and cosy and with nice details. The whole place was impeccably clean, our cleaner really looked after us. The shower is also great with lots of pressure and gets really hot. The location is also great; everything is in walking distance and you feel central but the actual rooms are nice and quiet and tucked back from the Main Street.

Some of the amenities are a bit basic (for example the hairdryer is one of those attached to the wall & there’s shampoo and shower gel but no conditioner.) The service in the restaurant was bizarre. They didn’t really look after us as people who were staying here and made things difficult sometimes. The breakfast that’s included is really strict (one slice of toast, plain eggs, filter coffee, etc). Leave loads of time if you do want food, the service is really slow and haphazard. Food was good but a bit expensive for Mexico, although we found that across Oaxaca.

When I booked it, I felt positive about the location being close to Central historical. But once there, I realized that other hotels inside the Centro were preferable and a note at any higher cost. This facility looks like it’s 30 years behind the times; while our room Did have a small sink and kitchenette, with a fridge yet the water pressure was terribly low-in the sink, There were no utensils and thus it rendered the use of the kitchen meaningless. The breakfast was decent.

Very dated, old style, and not generally warm in atmosphere. The bedding and sheets were a little rough and lower quality.

Perfect location to explore central Oaxaca, walkable to many incredible restaurants (many of them are Michelin's recommended). Friendly staff. On-site restaurant set in a lovely courtyard covered with plants/trees; food is just ok, though the hot chocolate is very good, as to many other restaurants; so make sure get some Oaxacan chocolate home — we picked up ours at a little shop inside a cute shopping alley one street over.

The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food at their restaurant was delicious and I loved the guacamole!

Nos gusto mucho la excelente atención y amabilidad de todo el personal, en general. Siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ayudar. El hotel, en general, espectacular, los desayuno deliciosos y la habitación preciosa y muy cómoda. La ubicación es extraordinaria. Desde el hotel se puede recorrer todo el centro caminando.

Podría mejorarse la política del restorán, con poco esfuerzo y a bajo costo. Por ejemplo con el desayuno incluido te ofrecen café pero, si no tomas café y prefieres té, no te lo incluyen y tienes que pagarlo por separado; lo mismo, si en lugar de un pan tostado con mantequilla y mermelada pides un pan de dulce, lo tienes que pagar. Creo que no se ahorran mucho con eso y si lo aceptaran, la percepción del huésped sería más positiva.

The hotel location is excellent and the staff very helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the room location was the first room on the first floor, just across from the reception, so we could hear the hotel music and restaurant and we could never open the curtains. We will definitely go back to this hotel but we'll make sure to request a room deeper into the hotel or on the second floor. Wifi was a bit sketchy but it was a holiday weekend and it could've been that too many people were using it.

Everything! The staff in reception, door security and housekeeping were all welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, bed very comfortable, and the shower was great. The location is perfect, adjacent to great restaurants, bars, cafes, art galleries, museums, the beautiful Santa Domingo church, all walkable in minutes. Great WiFi! Supplied water bottles daily.

Maybe add a second suitcase stand in the room but otherwise can’t think of anything.

10 minutes walk to Zocalo, markets and many attractions. When we arrived we had a small welcome gift of chocolates and mixed makers plus 2 bottles of water in our room. Very nice. Excellent staff, good food at the restaurant for breakfast.

When we arrived in the evening, the restaurant was closed, as it is only open 8am-12:30pm. This was not clear when we booked. The price was $850CAD for 3 nights mid January, which felt expensive for the simple room.

Excellent location in Oaxaca, nice rooms, great shower! Overall, a really great property for a stay in Oaxaca.

It was a shame that the rooftop bar wasn’t open. But only minor issue in great stay.

Central location and friendly and professional staff

Room was very nicely decorated an appointed. We were on the second floor as requested which gave us plenty of natural lighting. King bed was firm and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small but shower was spacious and water pressure was fine. There was a clever storage space for toiletries under the sink...had to look for it. Daily maid service was excellent. Room was kept spotless. Nice coffee service and plenty of bottled water. Big fluffy towels. Location was great. Located on a busy street, but not as crazy as some of the other main streets in the Reforma area. We were a 5 minute walk from the San Domingo plaza and a 15 minute walk to the Zocolo, the main square in the city where the Cathedral was located. Front desk staff, Isabel and Gemma were sweet and informative. The taxi I lined up from Booking.com and/or the hotel to take us from the airport to and from the hotel was waiting for us when we arrived quite late (midnight) in the evening. Check in was smooth and efficient. Security was also excellent.

Reading lights, one of my fetishes, were not good. Too far away from bed and not strong enough. TV service was also poor. I probably should have asked the front desk for help, but I did not, so we missed out on some basic channels like CNN. We did however get to see a few US NFL games that were televised.

I had to endure their neighbor’s live karaoke music after midnight. The first night went on until nearly 3am! It's not the hotel's fault. But I won't be coming back.

Delicious breakfast and ideal location. Aside from a little noise a few nights the hotel was perfect. The rooms all face in a beautiful green courtyard. The sheets were especially comfortable. It’s steps away from the plaza de San Domingo with shops restaurants etc. overall a great visit!!

I had originally booked a different place but they contacted me to say it could get loud. I appreciated the notice so I booked at Casa Vertiz. I should’ve stayed at the other place. The hotel has a restaurant and they play electronic music until 10pm. From 10-11pm you can still hear them cleaning the pots and pans. At 7:01 the kitchen noises start again. The next door neighbour is a party venue and it went on one night until 2:30 or so. Not great for light sleepers.

We liked the location, staff, restaurant, and the room itself.

We didn’t like how much noise could be heard from outside. Every morning we were woken up by the sound of people talking, dishes being set on the tables, and loud music. I also wish the room had a fridge.

Great location and amenities. Rooms and en suite are of a really good standard! The restaurant in the courtyard serves great food and coffee. Good few boutique store and bars near by! Overall great atmosphere!

Bkfst opens to late. The tours we had we needed to be there by 8am. Suggestion may just have coffee, juice, pan and fruit available early around 7pm Remote Control for TV get new ones .. kept losing signal .. not easy to use

Lovely space and conveniently located

We were very pleased with how exceptionally clean our room was. The hotel is very secure and quiet at night. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The only downfall was the valet parking has a 15-20 minute wait but you can call ahead before your arrival.

The staff is wonderful—great service. Beautiful area and I look forward to visiting again.

The room I paid for wasn't available due to air-conditioning issues so they gave me a smaller room next to the dinning area. Loud noises really early in the mornings and late at night. I cut my toe late at night due to a shoe issue, went to the front desk to ask for bandage and they had none. A young girl, Karen, I believe was in training, was kind enough to go to her purse and let use tape to cover my wound. Thank you so much Karen!

Great hotel, excellent service, extremely clean and safe. The staff here are really exceptional. Auriel - the waiter at the upstairs lounge/restaurant was special. What a great character! The hotel is two blocks from Santo Domingo. The hotel is extremely convenient and safe. I nice relaxing oasis in the middle of Oaxaca.

It was low season and my friend and I enjoyed the hotel. We had breakfast at their hotel restaurant.

Everything went great. Compared to other areas in the city, this hotel was very quiet as the rooms are all towards the back of the property with the restaurant taking up the front. Everything was very clean and new looking. The room was very aesthetically pleasing. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was a 10/10! My family and I lived it. It’s so beautiful and clean. Well maintained and staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Oaxaca❤️

Great for business and vacations

Lovely, local small hotel. All new furnishings, contemporary Oaxaca style decorations. Although the room was very small it had everything I needed: amenities, large closet, iron & board, safe, vanity, coffee nook, chair and very comfortable king size bed.
