Swimming Pool: On a positive note, the swimming pool was large and spacious, making it perfect for children to play in and enjoy. Beach: The beach itself was beautiful and gentle, also very suitable for kids to play safely.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a one-night family vacation, as many other hotels were fully booked. Honestly, I would not have chosen this hotel for a family stay if I had other options, primarily due to the extremely poor and uncomfortable room conditions. Room Condition: The wooden furniture provided was noticeably old and worn. Specifically, the chair at the dressing table in our room was broken, which was quite inconvenient. Bed: The mattress springs were faulty, causing a significant dip in the bed while sleeping. This made for a very uncomfortable night and would likely pose a particular problem for guests with a larger body frame. Wall: The wall next to the bathroom showed clear signs of mold, suggesting a possible water leak within the wall structure. Additionally, the bedside table had not been properly wiped and was covered in dust. Bathroom: The toilet's bidet spray pipe was not functioning correctly; water would often not come out, or we had to repeatedly press the tap head to get the water flow to start or stop. Lighting: Several light bulbs in the room were either not working at all or emitted a very dim light, making the room feel poorly lit and unwelcoming. Conclusion: If comfort and aesthetics are priorities for your stay, this hotel is certainly not the best choice. I paid RM315++ for this one-night stay. For that price, I believe one could find a much more comfortable hotel, perhaps with a slight additional cost, or even consider renting a homestay for a superior experience. Suggestions for the Hotel Management: I understand that significant investment is required for hotel upgrades. However, continuing to offer imperfect conditions to guests will undoubtedly lead to a continuous decline in customer satisfaction and, consequently, a loss of future bookings. Addressing these issues is crucial for the hotel's long-term viability and reputation.

The worst “resort” experience of my life – avoid at all costs! This place looks straight out of a horror movie. The moment you step in, it feels haunted – dim hallways that resemble a horror alleyway leading to your room. The carpets are disgustingly stained and dirty, the curtains are no better, and thick layers of dust dangle off the corners like cobwebs. The furniture is completely run down and stained, the pillows and bedsheets are yellowish and filthy, making it impossible to feel comfortable or clean. Even the balcony door couldn’t close or lock properly, which is a huge safety concern. The wardrobe was badly damaged and looked like it hadn’t been maintained for years. The toilet? Absolutely horrendous – run down, with non-functioning bowls and stained mirrors that make you wonder if anyone ever cleans this place. The whole room smelled musty and unwelcoming, like it hadn’t been used in decades. This so-called “resort” is nothing more than a nightmare. Definitely NOT worth the money. If you value your sanity, hygiene, and safety – STAY AWAY.

Bed was comfortable, very calm and silent situation.

Bathroom not clean, very smelly poor water service, I book for superior twin room and its more expensive from standard room but the services not meet our expectations.

I've been to cheaper budget hotels but far better. This hotel may be old, but please regularly maintain it. Fridge is smelly. Toilet looks straight from a horror movie, and smelly. Sliding doors stuck and heavy. I don't dare to use the cups, too dirty. Towels, pillows are yellow. Rooms are sandy. I understand that this hotel is next to the beach, and i don't expect the staff to clean 24/7. My suggestion is to provide brooms to each room so we can clean it ourselves. Creepy part is, in the middle of the night we heard rustling sound at the trash can and many previous reviews complain about rats. I kicked the trash can, gone through the trash, but found nothing. Went back to sleep, heard it again. Check again, nothing, sleep, repeat. Finally put the trash can outside the room, heard rustling sound from outside. Don't know la rats or ghost lol. Oh ya beds are also itchy. Bath tub cracked and dirty, my suggestion is to remove it completely. This hotel has the potential to be a major attraction in PD. Next to the beach, beautiful Minang architecture. Please maintain it.

Make sure the aircond is cooled. I change my room for 1st check in here. Lucky the staffs are very good n change my room and my sons room. Second time, aircond is not cool as per normal temp.i love the beach there,its clean. Hotel management need to service the aircond and make sure aircond is cool because we go for holiday,stay in hotel for rest.. Its one of the reasons that make us comfortable to stay in this hotel. Tq

Nothing here to like. I had a bad experience. On the first day, I got a bad room with a bad smell on the ground floor, mosquitoes, and a negative vibe. After complaining, she offered me a room on the 3rd floor."

I do not recommend staying here. This hotel is not suitable to be marketed on booking platforms. Many people will be affected by the poor facilities, bad reception staff attitude, dirty toilets, and unpleasant breakfast. My body is covered with bruises.

Room is dirty and the fridge as well. Toilet smelly. Dusty ceiling, Dusty balcony. I am surely the housekeeping not cleanup properly. Lift also cannot use. Need to go up three times to the 3rd floor.

The service of the staff is excellent. They managed to let me check -in earlier.

Hotel is very run down. No breakfast provided. Room is very dark (not enough lighting). No socket near the bed to charge mobile phone. No hot water to shower.

The rooms need refurbishment and doing up as the Resort existed in the early 70s as I went there for vacations many times.The gardens are nice but needs maintenance.The resort needs a total face lift and painting.The building has a unique minangkabau architecture design and it's popular with locals and tourist.Lifts are old and need replacement.

There is a pee stain on the bed’s comforter. I hope you could improve more on the cleanliness.

Location and beach are nice. The room is big for suite. Kari Kepala Ikan is one of the best.

The housekeeper was good. First time experiencing the dirty rough blanket without lining to cover my body. He helped to find an enclosure and placed the blanket inside without having to cone in contact with my body.

The hotel room is run down. The value I paid RM 270.00 was very disappointing.

Hotel is run down. Paid so much for Studio Room but no beach view. The room is extremely dirty and dusty. They just swept the rubbish under the bed. U can find so many trash under the bed. My 4 month old baby had eczema, during the stay his eczema got so bad because of the dirty room.
