The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The motel is located on a busy street close to the highway. There was an odd industrial smell in the neighbourhood, somewhat like a pulp mill smell. Good value for two nights.

While the room I stayed in & the motel overall was definitely a bit dated & could use some TLC, all the basic amenities I needed from a budget motel were available. The highlight of my stay was the staff, by far. Super friendly & welcoming right from check-in. They even called to let me know I had forgotten an item in my room. For a budget motel, I couldn't have asked for much else!

The motel is in good shape, and comfortable and very clean. The best thing, though, is that all of the staff were extra kind and helpful. It made for a lovely stay!

My biggest complaint would be location, while you are a few minutes walk from everywhere, You are wide open when you go outside - there is a 4 way stop right outside of your room, on the main road coming in and out. While this wouldn't be a big issue in a bigger city - in a small town everyone stares at you while their driving by. If you added a bit to the walkway and had some sort of veranda with some plants to give a bit more privacy, it would improve the area a bit.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2024It was a pleasant surprise to have such a spacious place (with a queen bed, a couch, 3 chairs, a dinner table with 2 folded leaves) and a fully equipped kitchen, all for $70! Very clean, AC works quiet, a bit outdated carpet, but again, it's clean. Location is great, we walked everywhere.
Pillows were a bit lumpy, also you can hear outside noises when cars coming and going, but it's expected in motels.

The shower had good pressure.There was no cold water coming out of the tap in the sink,actually it was quite warm!Tiny fridge that wasn’t cold,no freezer. Very,very squeaky floor boards. The place needs a make over and update.Below the front door I could see outside and the cold air just blasted into the room,had to place a rolled up towel on the floor! I paid for 2 nights and ended up staying for just one.Very disappointed in this motel.
