Lost Lisbon :: Cais House

Even though we don’t really mind walking around, the location was near and walkable to everything we wanted to visit. The apartment’s aesthetic is very curated. We luckily got the Alcantara room which had three windows. The room only had a fan but we didn’t feel the heat. There was a breeze at night considering we were there mid-August. We would also like to commend the cleanliness of the property. The room, bathroom, and living rooms are all separated from each other but accessible nonetheless. They offer an adequate breakfast where you can also cook your eggs how you like it. They are also available and easy to reach through whatsapp for any queries.

This is out of the main property scope but the alleyway to the building had a stench that the hallway to the staircase before reaching the apartment is filled with fetid odor.

Mukava B&B hyvällä sijainnilla. Huoneeni oli juuri kuten kuvissa- kivasti sisutettu, tilava, siisti ja näkymä merelle päin. Tähän huoneeseen kuuluva oma kylpyhuone oli heti huoneen ulkopuolella. Aamupalan sai itse valikoida yhteisen "olohuoneen" jääkaapista. Sijainti hyvä. Paljon kahviloita, ravintoloita ja baareja ympäristössä, sekä bussit, junat ja metro ihan kulmilla. Kävellen noin 2 minuuttia rantakadulle ja noin 15 minuuttia Rossiolle. Henkilökuntaa ei ole paikalla, mutta kaikki toimi kätevästi WA:n kautta.

We loved the decor. The Breakfeast place is so accommodating and complete. Huge bedroom, no air conditioner but very comfortable with the fan.

The Breakfeast door should be opened earlier. We had a few early tours to take and would like to have prepared a coffee before leaving the facility.

Mooie vintage inrichting. Grote kamer. Super locatie in centrum. Ideaal met grote woonkamer om lekker te zitten. met koffie thee faciliteiten. Ontbijt zelf te maken alles stond netjes klaar

Geen airco. Alleen een ventilator die veel lawaai maakt. 2 etages omhoog met koffer valt wat tegen.

Oozes in history - styled to perfection, magnificent large warehouse size room, large shower internal to our room Estella - exemplary pressure and super clean, high ceilings, light with large windows and super breezy cool temp given one day was 38c. Location, Location steps away from esplanade, restaurants and pink street. staff super helpful and responsive - tidied room daily including fresh towels every second day. Thank-you - how blessed were we were to stay here. 🙏

L’originalité, le confort et la gentillesse du personnel

Dommage pour les travaux actuellement présents autour de l’immeuble, mais ceci indépendants de la volonté du logement

Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec une magnifique salle de bain. La décoration est très originale. On se sent comme à la maison. Le petit déjeuner dans le living room est top. L'emplacement est super, à deux pas du fleuve et du centre ville. On a quasiment pu tout visiter à pied depuis l'hôtel.

Le lit était un peu dur.

On entend assez bien ce qui se passe dans les autres chambres et dans les couloirs : tout dépend des voisins sur lesquels vous tombez !

Camere grandi e pulite. Si entra con i codici, non c'è personale sul posto. Sala comune e cucina molto accoglienti e grandi; si trova tutto il necessario per prepararsi una ricca colazione. La posizione è super centrale e ben connessa! Davvero un soggiorno fantastico!

Boendet var en stor besvikelse och motsvarade inte alls beskrivningen eller bilderna på Booking.com. Huset var mörkt, gammalt och mycket slitet. Det var fuktigt och det värsta var den starka, mögelliknande lukten som slog emot oss direkt när vi kom in. Jag fick migrän nästan omedelbart och kunde knappt vistas i rummet. Det fanns ingen luftkonditionering, trots den mycket höga temperaturen. I stället fanns en liten fläkt som lät så mycket att det var omöjligt att sova med den på. Fönstret gick inte att öppna ordentligt och utanför var det extremt mycket trafik, oväsen och skrikande människor – ljud som fortsatte ända fram till klockan sex på morgonen. Dessutom lät golvet i korridoren väldigt mycket varje gång någon gick förbi rummet. Rummet och möblerna kändes gamla och slitna. Toaletten låg utanför rummet, mitt emot, vilket redan i sig var mycket obekvämt. Duschen fungerade dessutom dåligt eftersom vattnet inte rann undan – det blev stopp och vattnet stod kvar. Frukosten var också mycket dålig och kändes både ohygienisk och oaptitlig. Bland annat stod en korg med ägg ute i cirka 40 graders värme, och vi förväntades själva tillaga dem. Dessutom är bilderna på byggnadens fasad på Booking.com missvisande. Bilderna visar inte den byggnad där vi faktiskt bodde, utan byggnaden mittemot. Det gav ett helt annat intryck av boendet än verkligheten. Det värsta var dock den starka mögelliknande lukten. Jag fick migrän direkt och vi kunde inte sova en enda minut. Efter bara några timmar valde vi därför att checka ut och lämna boendet. Sammanfattningsvis var detta en mycket obehaglig upplevelse. Boendet levde inte alls upp till förväntningarna, och jag anser att beskrivningen och bilderna på Booking.com ger en klart missvisande bild av boendet. Jag skulle klassificera hotellet en ⭐️

The apartment is really amazing. Very clean, very big, with a nice breakfast experience because you can prepare it yourself with high quality products. Position is very good as it is 1 minute walking to Pink Street

The room was huge with really nice ventilation and comfortable bedroom, lots of storage and toilet although separate from the room it was super comfortable and spacious. I loved the idea of making my own breakfast in the kitchen where all ingredients and utils are refilled and clean every morning. Definitely booking this place again next time I visit Lisboa.

The location of the appartment is just perferct. We really enjoyed the view of the river Tejo in the mornings from the window of the spacious and comfortable room. Every monuments or district in the city center that we wanted to visit are within 10 min walking distance from the appartment. And it is close to bus and train stations also. Just below the appartment there was a restaurant that we would highly recommend also. Beside the room we could enjoy the comfort of the vitage styled living room and really liked the furnitures.

The room can be a little too hot in summer time. Opening the windows can help but it is a bit too loud. Unfortunately there is no AC and the fan in the room is too loud.

The location is very convenient, right in the city centre. More than that, the place itself is really beautiful. High ceiling, bright, woodfloor, nicely decorated... And the bathroom is literally in front of the bedroom, which is perfect. The bathroom is simple but large and convenient. The breakfast room is really large too, and we appreciated making our own breakfast (with a great choice). We'll def come back!

The building itself isnt as nice and needs a refurbishement but it didnt impact our stay. It also located in a small street were drunk guys tend to come to pee late at night... But thats nothing to do with the place itself

I really liked the room and the location. The bed was massively comfy and very clean. Breakfast was nicely laid out and the dining room/living room was beautiful

The only thing I didn’t like, and there is not much that can be done here to fix this, is having to cross a hallway to get to your bathroom. However it was great the bathroom was private

A localização é excelente, muito perto do centro e muito perto de uma estação de metro/comboio. Adorei a decoração do espaço e o pequeno almoço também é muito bom. Toda a comunicação com o responsável pelo alojamento foi muito fácil e esclarecedora. O meu quarto tinha uma vista excelente sobre o Tejo.

A climatização e insonorização do quarto não é suficiente. Além disso acho que a sala de estar deveria ser acessível durante todo o dia e não apenas no horário do pequeno almoço para podermos desfrutar mais do espaço.

The location is perfect, close to the sea, close to the city centre, close to restaurants and bars. The room (and the whole appartment in general) is cosy and clean. We also loved the breakfast. You go to a beautiful living room where you can make and take what your heart desires. Yes, you have your private bathroom that's not in the room, but from what I saw, all the bathrooms were just in front of the rooms, so you don't go far. And I liked the idea. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr stylish und cool eingerichtet, sehr großes Zimmer und Bad, und dazu noch das großzügige ‚Wohnzimmer‘ zur Nutzung! Sehr gute schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Host. Wenn man Guesthouse Urlaub mag - Einfach herrlich!

Die durchgehend wahnsinnig laute Baustelle im Nebenhaus - aber da kann due Unterkunft nichts dafür! Und ist ja hoffentlich auch bald mql vorbei.

La ubicación era excelente. Tanto la habitación como el salón, son muy acogedores y luminosos, muy bien ambientados y decorados. Me quedé enamorado del lugar. El anfitrión se porto de manera excelente y destacable.

We loved the room, high ceilings and spacious. It is quiet and clean room. We loved the living room as well which is the common area. Great for have rest during the day. Breakfast was great because there is a lot of stuff in the kitchen like ham, cheese, jam, yoghurt, fruits etc. You can also make omlette/eggs for yourself as you want. They do the dishes. The only thing, you prepare your plate yourself. The bathroom is huge. You can lock the bathroom with the same key with room. You can leave your backpack to living room if you checked out early. We loved our stay totally recommended.

The seperated bathroom was a bit tiring if you stay long. But it is spacious and clean. Even bathrobes have been provided for your comfort.

Lovely wooden floored and shutters room with high ceilings and right in the action. Only 100m from the front.

Bathroom is separate, it is lovely but would be nicer if adjoining room. Breakfast was help yourself which was good in some ways but felt like a hostel

El desayuno me pareció muy agradable, con productos ricos y un ambiente tranquilo para empezar el día. Y la ubicación del hotel fue excelente, muy céntrica y perfecta para moverme caminando por Lisboa y disfrutar de la ciudad cómodamente.

Sin embargo, el baño estaba fuera de la habitación y eché en falta aire acondicionado, especialmente para los días de más calor.

-No hay microondas, error muy gordo. El café con leche tenía que tomármelo con leche fría. Por favor, ¡PONER UN MICROONDAS! Es barato y facilita mucho las cosas. -El baño huele a cañerías. Abriendo la ventana se arregla. -Creo que cuando el vecino abre el grifo, altera la temperatura de mi ducha. 😅 Aún así, es un sitio recomendable. No dudo en repetir.

It is a lovely converted house. The kitchen is nice and large with a living room to relax in.

The floorboards are very creaky so you can hear all the noises when people are up and about. The bathroom is outside the room so you have to be ok with that.

Acomodação muito bem localizada, próxima de transportes, mercado e com fácil acesso aos principais pontos.

Como ponto negativo, a acomodação não possui TV nem frigobar.

Konumu mükemmel, temiz bir tesis. Odamız ferah ve manzaralıydı. Kahvaltı salonu kocaman ve herşeyi istediğin gibi alıp hazırlamak insanı evinde hissettiriyor.

Chambre spacieuse, salle de toilette agréable, vaste espace commun calme et agréable. Localisation très fonctionnelle : proche des différents quartiers d’intérêt, calme et à 2 pas de la promenade. Personnel agréable. Très bon rapport qualité / prix.

It was very clean, the rooms was spacious, the coming space was great and the breakfast arrangement was also ok. They cleaned our room every day and changed the towels every two days.

The isolation of the windows was not great, so the street noise was quite loud.

Zentrale Lage. Es war relativ ruhig. Unkompliziert, trotz Bad und Toilette auf dem Flur. Das Frühstück ist selbst zuzubereiten, aber es fehlte an nichts. Selbst ein Obstkorb stand bereit, Joghurt und frische leckere Brötchen, Eier, Schinken zum Braten...

Sehr gute Lage! Zimmer war nett eingerichtet & das Personal sehr freundlich.

Leider sehr laut. Wände waren so dünn, dass man das Handy vom Nachbarn vibrieren gehört hat. Türen waren leider auch nicht besser mit großem Spalt und der Boden bestand aus alten Holzdielen, welche sehr geknackt haben wenn man darauf gegangen ist.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce dla relaksu i ucieczki od zgiełku miasta. Skromne ale smaczne i wystarczające śniadania. Miejsce konsumpcji bardzo klimatyczne. Miejsce zdecydowanie godne polecenia z atmosfera i historią.

La super deco, la chambre spacieuse et confortable, l’emplacement, le rapport qualité prix, le Pdj varié de qualité avec du lait végétal 👍, la communication fluide avec l’hôte.

Tutto perfetto. Posizione ottima attaccata alla metro e molte fermate di bus e tram. La stanza della colazione è utilizzatabile anche durante la giornata come spazio relax ed è bellissima ❤️

Sistema de café da manhã e itens à disposição excelentes; tudo reposto com frequência. Quarto espaçoso, cama muito confortável e uma bela vista do rio Tejo. João super acessível e disposto a ajudar. Localização ótima, possibilita curtir a tranquilidade do bairro mas acessar todos os outros lugares com facilidade.
