Beitou Hot Spring Resort

Very clean room with up to date amenities. Both in-room and public hot spring pools are in excellent codition and very enjoyable to use.

Very friendly staffs

We will come back next time

Thrilled to have hot springs in your bath. Excellent location to explore the park.

Very good Enjoying every day staying here

Very convenient location: just few minutes walk from the train station but yet it is quiet and peaceful at night since it is just across the Betiou Park. Room is comfortable, and staffs are friendly. Only thing I wouldn’t like is the size of the hot spring tub, which I can’t stretch my legs fully due to its square shape but I guess it’s common for this price range.

Close to subway. They have a great buffet breakfast.

Hotel was as shown in photos, satisfied.

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, steps from the Xinbeitou MRT stop. Lovely neighborhood. Clean comfortable room. Friendly staff

Hot water did not work in my room. Mattress was also hard and old. Good location and nice staff but rooms and facilities need upgrades.

Nice hotel. The onsen is good.

Good place for relaxing

Elite Double room is very very small, disappointing and inconvenient as we have 4 suitcases. Ventilation is very poor, room smells like damp. Bathtub and shower doors not fully closing so that adds to the already bad smell. Breakfast is good but missing sweet food like small pastries, else you need to pay extra as they offer those that are selling in their pastisserie shop. Overall, not worth the money. Better hotels around. Need deep clean and some little touches in maintenance.

Spa was excellent and room was nicely renovated

Breakfast was great, spa was a lot more crowded than what I remember - expect ~10-15 people there with you. Room was really nice and relaxing. Stay is around 20 mins to the large Shilin night market.

Great location, walkable to the Thermal Valley, museum and town center with sufficient food options. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with in-room onsen and sauna (in some rooms). Hotel staff while not terrific are better than other hotels in Taiwan on this trip. Compared to a decade ago, Taiwan in general seems to have lost its edge in service-orientedness and making international visitors feel welcomed.

We had a great stay as a family.

Great location and spa. Breakfast very adequate.

If you are looking for something nice and simple and close to the station this is a great choice

Room are very clean though it's only have about 21 rooms. All things are good, nice onsen facilities &complimentary biscuits.Hope to be back soon.

The room I had had windows but can not see through. I think it does not qualify as a window room. Also, quality of breakfast was so so.

It's a luxurious hotel with affordable price. It has a hot spring tub in the room. What a memorable experience. The breakfast buffet has lots of variety and tasty. Will definitely go again when traveling to Taipei.

A perfect stay!

Dinner options yummy, we love the crab porridge . Breakfast buffet was excellent. Friendly staff in dining room and public hot spring facility. Our room was available early on but they would not let us check in early. Also our room is stationed in the back so we are told hot water may take 25 to 30 min to come in. Overall great hotel

Very peaceful and clean. Amazing breakfast.

Very good location. The most impressive was the hospitality we received from the lady who was served afternoon tea. All the staff were very friendly!

The safe box is not working

The property is well located, right in front of the nice big Beitou Park and not far from Hot spring valley. There is a very nice French cafe/bakery attached to the hotel with incredible pastries and sandwiches. The hot spring bath in the room are incredible. The shower is so so though

Great location, friendly staff, yummy breakfast, nice public baths and in-room option, an overall wonderful hot springs resort experience. Hotel shows its age, some of the towels and robes reflect that. But all appears clean. I did see a couple critters in the room, not unusual in this very humid part of the world. Probably could be resolved if individual temp control is available in the room. There is AC in the hotel, but no heat, which may be a problem in the winter, as it was in the 40s just a few days before my stay, though atypically warm when I was there.

Beitou Hotsprings Resort is a very nice place to stay! This is the first time I'm staying in Beitou and booked a Deluxe Room, 1 Double Bed for 1 night. The experience was amazing! The room was spacious and it came with your own personal steam room and onsen. It also has a patio which you can sit and enjoy your evening and sip a cup of wine. The amenities in the room were fantastic. Breakfast was provided and the buffet selection though small was good! We enjoyed the quiet ambience and the views of Beitou Park! The location of the hotel was amazing. It was short walking distance to eateries, thermal valley and the local museums. Also it's a short 2 minutes walk to Xinbeitou station which is your connecting MRT station to the main Beitou station. Hotel guests are given free access to the Hotel's Public Hotspring/Onsen area. The onsens are really nice and you'll definitely feel refreshed after a soak. Overall I enjoyed the stay there!

Nice environment convenient to all attractions , friendly worker, the public hot spring spa is super big and steam room ,sauna room too👍

Really liked the location close to many restaurant. And also the hot spring bath in the room. But the room was freezing cold and the hotel had to bring us heaters because of the centralised airconditioning system. Worse, the toilets choked regularly despite us having to throw the toilet paper separately. Seems like a regular occurrence according to the well trained staff. But location of room is wonderful and we enjoyed our stay despite the inconveniences

Amazing room that comes with onsen bath and steam room! Only a 3min walking distance to the train station!

Heart of the centre n nice weather this period of time n the room facilities was great as they hv the hot spring in the room

Not too far from downtown Taipei and Yangminsan, nice rooms with ensuite hot spring water tub, sauna and steam shower. The best inclusive breakfast buffet ever! Friendly staff and surrounded by various restaurants.

The reception staffs are terrible. They never smile to hotel guests during check in and check out. The property doesn’t offer any help to customer’s’ luggage. The breakfast is better than pre-pandemic time. However, restaurant’s staffs service needs to be improved. The lady receptionist who looks after the public hot spring is very courteous and polite, always wears a smile to guests.

Very convenient location not far from Xinbeitou train station. The hotel itself could use some renovation, but it's in decent condition. It was nice having a personal hot spring, steam shower, and sauna in the room. Breakfast was ok.

The hot springs is very good and there is bathtub inside. Service is good too. The only thing Is because

Everything was good, clean and friendly staff Thanks

Hotel is very clean , comfortable and good location. All staffs are very nice. Restaurant's food are delicious at reasonable price.highly recommended

Could have let us checked in earlier after a long flight but did not

A nice place to relax after a tiring week. Will visit again

Not really impressive if you ever been to japan, however still consider a Budget getaway

Their check in time is 4 pm which is kind of late. But they let us in at around 2 pm, which is good. But the room we got is not very good. The tub for hot spring bath is perhaps 3 feet square, not big enough for one person to strach the legs and the shower did not have enough pressure and water was only dripping out. So the next day we asked to switch rooms. The second room has a regular size tub but the toilet is cloggedo. Otherwise, the room is nice. It has sunna in the room and the show room is also a steam room. The location of the hotel is convenient, right by the MRT new Beitou station and right across from Beitou Park. We can stroll to the Hot Spring Museum, and other tourist spots.

Breakfast buffet costs 380TWD, but the variety of food is not much.

Clean, comfortable, with good bed and in room onsen. Breadfast has improved, and facilities are all working well. Third time im staying over 5 years, and will return. Location is super near new beitou mrt station, with fast and traditional food nearby.

Very near mrt station. Room was spacious and clean.

Hotel is very accessible, about 3mins walk away from Xinbeitou MRT station. Room is spacious and clean. Have taken public bath in their hot spring facilities, very well maintained and clean.

Good location, with just short walk away from the station.

Loved this place! The room was beautiful, clean, and well-designed with a complete spa (sauna plus hot spring bath) built right it! Bed was huge and very comfortable. It almost seemed a shame to leave the room and go sightseeing. WIFI was strong and steady. Breakfast had a lot of options. I had limited interaction with the desk staff, but they were able to talk to me in English and successfully convey information I needed. There's plenty of low-to-mid range food options around, and the Xinbeitou train station is just a block away, so it's easy to get pretty much anywhere you like.

The breakfast was not good but the spa was excellent.

So so reception service. But large and comfy room ;)

Nice hotel, private tub, private sauna, private steam room. However, the water pressure is simply too weak when taking a shower, making it a pain to shower. The breakfast is rather sad with limited choices, better skip it and eat the ramen next door.

The stay is amazing with all the facilities catered for your onsen needs, sauna; steamer; bath and onsen tub for you to enjoy and relax. The cons though is their breakfast, food is okay so dont expect so much for it

Nice rooms and the location is excellent as it is very near to the Metro station. there are a few eatery options near to the hotel too..

Room was very nicely decorated/furnished. Loved having a sauna and steam shower in the room. The public spa area was a nice bonus as well, since guests could use it for free. The breakfast buffet that was included was very good!

Love the amenities in the room - hotspring tub, sauna, steam room all inside our bedroom. The public bath downstairs is good too but it's not as convenient as we got to tell the receptionist to get the door open everytime (why not just letting us use the key card?). It'll be best if massage can be added to the hotsprings tub inside the room. Lots of yummy food within walking distance (Beitou market is just 10 mins walk away).

Cosy room. Walking distance to metro station. Breakfast was tasty.

The water pressure in the hotel is not good . Little and slow water output

Good location. Near mrt station and nearby many foods.. private hot spring, very comfortable. Will stay again when back

Very nice hot spring resort. Will definitely come again.

Beautiful room with onsen style tub and steam room in it!

It was a great and relaxing stay. I stayed during my birthday. Two free pieces of cheesecakes, provided by the hotel restaurant, were stored in the fridge by the time I checked in. The in-room hot spring and sauna were just perfect.

Rocky at front desk so feiendly and patient Thank you for your help

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in Apr 2018 for two nights. We stayed in the Deluxe Room 311 on 3rd floor, and found it big, quiet, clean, and comfortable. It was equipped with an ensuite sauna room, steam room, and hotspring tub, which gave us much relaxation and privacy. Staff were very polite, and able to communicate with us in English. We had an enjoyable stay, and had no negative comments.

It's always a challenge finding hotel rooms in Asia as a family of 4. This place was no exception; however, it was reasonably priced, so two rooms here was still cheaper than the 4-person room at the fancy hotel across the park. The rooms were big and cozy, with two twin beds, a couple of chairs, a desk, a minibar, bathroom. On the far side of the room was a large tub with a hot spring tap and a shower with a steam vent. Windows overlooked a small private patio with table and chairs that would be lovely for an in-room breakfast. It all would have been quite romantic without the kids (though they thoroughly enjoyed the place). If your kids are old enough to stay alone for a couple hours, having two rooms might come in handy. The service was good. Breakfast buffet was a decent size, with enough choices to satisfy my picky eaters (a mix of Taiwanese and Western foods). A coffee shop/cafe/bakery adjoins the lobby (breads, desserts, and paninis). There's a small kids play area in the lobby. Location was great: right next to Beitou Park with lots of restaurants nearby and the train station very close. There is a large public (gender segregated) hot spring in the hotel, but children are not allowed so we did not visit it. This was fine, though, since the kids dislike overly hot water and we could change the temperature of the hot spring water in our room tub (by adding some from cold tap). Just be sure to go full hot spring water when it's mom and dad's time for the tub.

Hotel staff was polite. Room was clean, lights could be brighter. Pillows too soft but bed was good.

Room wise - we stayed at a Deluxe Room. It was well-furnished with excellent facilities, exactly as described. Loved the in-room hot springs tub, steam room and sauna room! Location wise - conveniently connected by train and bus. Food wise - breakfast was decent. It was also easy to find food - there were convenience stores, fast food and even a ramen restaurant nearby. Highly recommended!

The hotel room has an in-room hot spring spa, which provide a comfortable and relaxing bath after a tiring day of touring in the area.

Great customer service, breakfast selection was large, rooms are super peaceful and comfortable!

Very nice room with friendly staff. Our room was very clean, with a pretty view of the park, on the 3rd floor. We had a sauna, hot spring tub, shower, steam room, and a normal bathroom and bed. We did not visit the public hot spring at all. The front desk brought us extra water when we asked.

Room was leaking and hotel immediately changed me to a better and bigger room at no extra cost. Impressive!

Overall a nice hotel but the Classic room is overpriced. Booked 3 rooms and 1 was a Classic room which costs about S$300 a night. The other 2 rooms is about S$250 a night. Breakfast is ordinary nothing much to elaborate. The staff are very friendly.

Great place to relax, but not alot of sightseeing or shopping can be done. easily accessible by mrt.

The hotel is in a good location less than a 5 min walk to the Xin Beitou MRT station. The front office staff were polite and the room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We had a hot spring tub in our room which was facing luscious greenery. The variety at breakfast was not very wide but the food was very fresh and well prepared. Definitely recommended for those looking for a nice quiet hotel stay.

I arrived several hours before the 4pm check-in which was pretty non-negotiable but was able to easily store my bags and go straight to the hotel's public baths. These were incredible (once I'd got comfortable with the naked although same-sex bathing arrangements!) with three different temperature pools; very clean and large. I was very happy with my room - large, clean, modern and with a large tub for bathing; very comfortable firm bed and pillows, plenty of bottled water and amenity products.

Walked out of MRT station and less than 2 min later we were greeted by their staff. Everything was ready for us. The best stay ever. In addition to the obvious reason we came there to stay 2 nights, we also walked around the park that is right behind their door and also we walked up the hill. We also walked all over their town. Very interesting and pleasant. This hotel has everything anyone can possibly want to have great rest and enjoy it too.

Good service and friendly staff close to MRT. Free breakfast included with limited dishes. Room service was the only issue as staff tends to forget small items I.e. replace towels and teabags. Otherwise this is a good, clean and convenient hotel to stay. Definitely recommend to others.

room is nice, it has its own tub (spring) and jacuzzi. only 1 block away from the subway station. only stay one night, can;t judge the facility, but i know they have some kind of bakery of their own....however, breakfast is a little disappointing....lack of choice.....(i stay in taiwan 8 days 4 hotels...in term of breakfast, this one is not the best breakfast,) but room is quiet, clean, so is the restaurant.

Spacious room with Japanese traditional hot spring hotel design. Very convenient as it is just 3 mins walk from the nearest mrt station. Worth to pay and come as a getaway from the city!

Wonderful hotel! Very close to the train station!

Room was comfortable and fully furnished with all your necessities. The private as well as public hot spring were in excellent conditions. Cable TV offers plenty of selections across multiple languages.

Hotel is at good location, near to MRT, facing the park. Customer service is good, especially for Reception staff, very polite and helpful.

Hotel was nice and close to transportation. Pokemon trainers jammed the small park across from the hotel. They were there hunting until midnight, every night!!

The room had 2 hot spring tubs - 1 for hot and 1 for cold water, which was excellent. However, the location of the hotel was too far from the metro stations, and took about 15 minutes by walk. Walking in the heat of Taiwan was not a pleasant experience.

Service was excellent. We arrived five minutes before the restaurant closed. The front desk called the restaurant and told them to get a table ready. The staff was very nice and helped us get to the MRT station and the High Speed Rail. We are from California and were very pleased that we received a lot of help getting around the city. We would definitely stay here again! Very nice people!

Conveniently located near to xinbeitou station. Room and service was ok. The in-room hot spring was good. There are more expensive options around the area, so I guess this hotel provides a slightly cheaper option to people who wants an experience staying in a hot spring resort but doesn't want to spend too much.

I would not hesistate to recommend to my friends who are going to Taiwan. The staff are friendly, room is clean and the food is good and reasonably price. Because it is near to train station, it is really convenient to my mother in law. I really enjoy the stay!

Enjoyable stay

Overall it's recommendable and they upgrade our room which is very huge and good!! Quality of breakfast is also nice. All staffs are very kind except one guy working at hot spring. He reacted very rude when I couldn't understand his english which was very bad and awful pronunciation.

Beitou Hotspring Resort is the best and cleanest hotel I have stayed in Taipei. Very clean, everything is provided, like facial cleanser, conditioner, slippers, body scrub etc are provided on a DAILY basis. Newspapers are also provided. They made an effort to change the menu for the breakfast daily. The personal hotspring bathtub, sauna room is available in the hotel room itself. Very convenient as the Metro is just 2 mins across the road, bus stops are also 2 mins away. Good restaurants, Starbucks, fast food restaurants and 7-11 are also 2 mins away from hotel. Safe environment. Polite and helpful staff. They prepared the room in advanced before you checked in, so it's cool and with nice fragrance the moment you checked in!

Great stay. Try the restaurant in the hotel as the food there is inexpensive and very tasty. Will definitely recommend his hotel.

Nice stay! 前檯人員very helpful, 有善有禮，近捷運，附近有多間食店，商鋪，房間夠大，寬敞舒適，一應俱全，建議住Classic twin room,有露台，蒸氣室！will come back again and recommend it to friends!

this hotel was my last hotel in taiwan travel period. the area is hotspring area. so i enjoyed hotspring. but it is little bit hot. If i visit taiwan in winter season, it would be better for enjoying hotspring. but it was so good

Overall the hotel was tidy and clean and great for family travel

Stay in twin bed room. Room is spacious and comfortable bed.. Toilet is small and feels like kids toilet and semi see through. Basin Tap feel like dropping off any minute. Bathroom is big and open concept (facing the bedroom has no doors or cover). According to hotel staff, all their rooms are design open concept and mainly cater for couples. Breakfast buffet is simple.

Shiok!

Very relaxing to use hot spring water tub. Staff are friendly. Amenities provided include 4 bottles of water per day.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath
