Reviewed Mar 13, 2026We hebben een goed verblijf gehad in het hotel. Het personeel tijdens inchecken was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was ruim en netjes. Het balkon met stoelen en uitzicht maakte het tot een goed hotel. Er was voldoende gratis parkeerplek op het terrein.

The room was very comfortable and well equipped, with a great selection of teas - perfect for someone from the UK! The views from the room were stunning and the small balcony was perfect for sitting with a cup of tea or glass of wine after a day exploring Napier.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Location and the area of Ahuriri is superb with plenty of shops close by. The access to the ocean is fantastic. Coffee from the restaurant at 8am was good. Sky TV (Sport) was good. View of the ocean great. Shower was hot. It was NYs eve. Very quiet spot. Which I was after.
Menu was very expensive. Bed was uncomfortable, two singles pushed together - pillows too fluffy. Fridge broken and only limited cutlery - no sharp knives. Furniture in the rooms was sparse. Only Decaf coffee available in the room. Very limited stock and range of toiletries. Shower pressure was low.

I didn’t like the meals in the restaurant. Thought they were not up to standard for the price. I had a glass of wine, Thai beef salad I couldn’t eat as it was so spicy and hot then got a half serving of kumera chips and it cost me $42! Was not impressed will not eat there again. I have been a caterer for 16yrs so know good food and prices!

Lovely onsite restaurant it is a 40 mins walk into the city of Napier but we knew this, you can drive in easily if you want to. We were there at the perfect time as it was a weekend festival, everyone dressed in 1920's outfits and hundreds of vintage cars. we did the walking tour which was very interesting
