Apartamentos Los Aguacates vs Similar Hotels

Well-equipped, comfortable rooms in good condition; some guests received upgraded rooms with sea views.

Kids suites are described as cute and secure (metal bars on windows) and well-equipped, but some maintenance and cleanliness issues were reported (broken zip on pregnancy pillow case, bungalow cleanliness, some furniture needing renewal).

Multiple guests praised very clean, well-kept rooms and housekeeping (explicit thanks to cleaning staff).

Multiple guests noted cleaning issues (hair in corners, not thoroughly cleaned) and one comment that cleaning could be more exhaustive, so cleanliness is below top standard.

Excellent location with dune/sea views, easy walk to town, promenade, shops and beach; repeatedly cited as a key positive.

Hotel is pleasant and the grounds are attractive, but several guests note it is a bit out of the way (requires taxi, few nearby shops), so location is convenient for resort stays but less for local access.

Consistently excellent service highlighted: welcoming, patient staff (notably Junior), personalized care (special meal plans, room upgrades) and friendly, attentive team.

Staff repeatedly described as very friendly and helpful (organized a pregnancy pillow, attentive workers); some operational slowdowns at the bar in evenings, but overall strong service.

Breakfast repeatedly described as superb and varied; many enjoyed local Canarian dishes, though at least one guest felt lunch lacked quality/price balance.

Many positive remarks about the variety and quality (picnic buffet, churros, sushi, Mexican night), though there were issues with the packed takeaway breakfast, Italian restaurant quality, and limited drink options for children at dinner.

Good pool area and parking noted, live music in evenings; negatives include poor Wi‑Fi throughout and limited organized activities/animation.

Excellent family/kids amenities — pools, splash park, waterslides and kids entertainment praised. Some negatives: arcade machines partly broken and the spa considered weak, but overall amenities are a major strength.

Generally satisfied guests and thoughtful service add value, but some criticism about lunch quality vs. price lowers perceived value for a few visitors.

Standard quality for this hotel tier.
