Hotel Chateau de l'Argoat

Great location with convenient metro access and an easy walk to many key attractions. The property was exceptionally clean, and the staff was consistently pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Richard, in particular, was wonderfully kind and resourceful. The thoughtfully curated art pieces add a unique charm to the space.

My room was located next to the road, and the traffic noise was quite noticeable. I also experienced sound from adjacent rooms, particularly during cleaning hours. The hotel did provide earplugs, which helped mitigate the noise, and I appreciated that thoughtful gesture.

Tranquillité et cachet rustique

Pas élévateur

Proximité des lieux et de nos rendez-vous. Stationnement. Propreté et confort.

I loved staying here. The location was incredible, located right by the Sherbrooke Métro. The staff treated us to hot chocolate. The room was really incredible and the bubble bath was the right ticket!

Though there were lovely local bar soaps provided next to the bathtub, the liquid soap and shampoo weren't up to the same level and we decided to use our own in the shower.

Excellent location. Wonderful staff—very helpful. The hotel also has so much character! And the beds are very comfortable.

Although we were very comfortable otherwise, the shower in our room was cramped and just ok for water pressure. The breakfast was also just ok; it lacked selection but it did the trick and the coffee was good.

Good breakfast. Milk and cereals would be nice though

Bed a little squeaky

very nice room in ideal location, very close to the metro and walking distance from the center. The breakfast was simple but good. Having a free parking is a big plus.

The room for breakfast is quite small, so not very comfortable.

It was amazing

Nothing

Niets alles was prima.

Simple and nice breakfast provided. Staff were all friendly and helpful during the stay. Room was cozy as well although shower pressure can be a bit low. To note that the hotel has no elevator so would advise to bring small bags if going for a short stay.

Shower could have better pressure on upper floors.

The gentleman behind the desk was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were large and the bed comfortable. Within walking distance of the waterfront

it needs a refurbishment. The public areas were particularly dated with old dirty carpets. The breakfast was very basic

Staff was extremely friendly, parking in the back was very accessible, and convenient small little breakfast in the morning. Rooms and hallways are charming.

The property was nice but the staff made it exceptional!

The hotel is conveniently located near Metro stops and a nice walk from the old city. The reception gave us good information and suggestions as to what to visit and recommendations for nearby restaurants. Our room was elegant and comfortable.

Can't think of a thing.

It was a reasonable location with the train and nearby restaurants etc Room was big and bed comfortable.

Room was a bit stuffy. Ac worked but unable to open windows for fresh air. A bit faded and dated but reasonable for a 3 star.

Excellent staff. Charming accomodations

Limited parking is a challenge for both staff & guests

Good Location

Shower had no pressure, very less water was coming

Rooms (our trip used a suite of two bed), then second room with 2 beds. Extremely convenient. The small breakfast area was easy and also very convenient- all the basics (bagel, toast yogurt coffee were covered)— the furnishings were clean - everything was very comfortable and convenient. If I had a suggestion would be to improve the hot water for tea (make more easy to dispense). All told it was a great stay, reasonably priced, well located and all around excellent

Very clean and comfortable. Nice large bed and bathroom. Good continental breakfast. Very good coffee. Short walk to subway stops. No elevator. If they say 2nd floor they mean 3rd. If you have trouble with stairs call ahead to get first floor. Staff was very helpful. Free parking but very limited. Would stay again.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. However: Be advised of the following: Hotel was built in the 1870s and there is no elevator and 4 floors. Also parking is terrible. (45 rooms 15 spaces)

The room was spacious and clean. I believe the pillows on the beds could be improved. The mattresses were comfortable.

Good location. Spacious room with all that we need it.

Location was great. Very quaint/artsy. FreeParking space was nice.

Stairs were challenging with luggage.

Riccardo.

Room decor

Very dated , basic breakfast and room not serviced

Struttura pulita personale molto gentile e accogliente

We were so grateful to find this architecturally appealing property for our first visit to Montreal. It's perfectly situated to explore the Latin District, Chinatown and Old Montreal. Our room was perfect - scrupulously clean, cozy and comforable. Self-serve breakfast was wonderful. Free parking onsite was a huge benefit. The staff are friendly and so helpful. We loved our stay!

Parkplatz ohne Probleme dazu buchbar.

That place rocks

Hôtel calme, confortable bien situé et personnel sympathique. Pratique le parking voiture

Free parking and breakfast
