Room balcony is too small

The staff is very friendly and exceptionally helpful. They packed us our snacks for the safari, and the Picnic pack was good and were ready on time. We booked 2 rooms. Both rooms are good. There were tea/coffee making facility in the room. Food was tasty and plentiful.

The toilet didn't have a bath mat, and the risk of falling is high. The restaurant ambiance is not so great, and that could be improved. The main lobby needs some upgrades and AC.

Unclean showers and smelly drains, AC not working well in both rooms. Food was not fresh, the bread was especially stale

The receptionist I believe her name was Tharushi. Her smile and welcoming aura is what made our stay off to a good start. She even helped us with booking a Yala safari and also helped us with the early breakfast

The restaurant is understaffed which meat an Al a carte order could take up to 2 hours unless pre ordered.

The room had a broken bidet shower but was repaired by staff. The air con was leaking water which almost flooded the room.

The rooms were both clean and spacious. At the reception Sulakshi was exceptionally warm and welcoming, while Anushi at the restaurant proved to be extremely helpful, and the meals were delicious. Overall, the ambiance and the service were wonderful. Looking forward to visiting again.

The bathroom was very smelly and stinky. Aircon was leaking water into the bed which was very uncomfortable. When we complained this to the Manager Manjula, he seemed to have brushed this off with his ever so technical explanations. He seemed to be so defensive about it rather than trying to correct it.

Una grande delusione per quello che ho pagato… anche perché su Booking ho effettuato la richiesta di una camera matrimoniale delux con un balcone vista piscina e mi avevano dato un buco senza balcone e sono stati pure in silenzio. Quando ho fatto notare questo enorme mancanza di attenzione alla signorina nella reception “mi ha risposto che loro non riescono a visualizzare i dettagli della camera da me selezionata e vedono solo una camera matrimoniale deluxe per ciò non era un loro errore mi dicevano. Assurdo che mi hanno fatto pagare appena arrivato manco il tempo di respirare almeno mi hanno offerto un succo di anguria E dopo il loro errore manco si sono scusati finché non è arrivato il direttore del hotel che era l’unico che si è scusato ed venuto incontro cambiando però il giorno dopo la stanza .. pessima esperienza!!! Che delusione

Excellent hospitality from the front office team and manager. Special thanks to the staff member who helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. All the staff were caring, attentive, and made our stay very enjoyable. Highly appreciated!

Friendly staff

I had to change room three times and I didn’t get the room I booked in the first instance because of the TV issue I didn’t get TV at all and also one of the dish was gone off

It was an amazing welcome from all the staffs. And they were really helpful for our needs which occurred during our stay. And really friendly. Good parking space for our vehicle. Amazing classic breakfast. Good quality food at their restaurant.

Rooms were bit dusty. But generally it was cleaned properly. While i was booking through booking.com it was mention iron facilities were there as amenities. But it wasn’t there in the room. Since i did not pay through the booking.com they charged me the full amount according to their room charges.

Food wasn’t nice off evening there was limited breakfast offerings unless you like curry and rice for breakfast the bread I had for toast was stale plus they didn’t have a license to sell Alcohol must be the first hotel I’ve stayed at where I couldn’t purchase a beer

The people at the reception desk behave as if we are guests on loan or staying for free. They have no respect for the guests who come.

Very kind and helpful staff . We had dinner and breakfast too at the restaurant and the the staff ( Anusha ) was very courteous and helpful . All the staff including reception was very nice and helpful.

Air con did not work, the rooms was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets smell, the bathroom is falling apart and was very dirty and clearly not cleaned for ages as think cobwebs and insects in the corners, overall check in was chaotic and would not recommend staying here

Der Pool und die Gartenblick. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer. Frühstück war sehr gut. Preis Leistung war echt gut.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Man kann zu Fuß die Tempelanlage erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und der Balkon groß. Das Frühsstücksbüffet war reichlich.

Bin ganz zufrieden.

Proximity to main attractions

They have kept very old linen with dirt marks in the rooms and when we sought to replace them it took more than an hour to get them as they do laundry in one of their other hotels. Rooms required renovation and refurbishment as rooms look old Manager of the hotel was not helpful at all to resolve our issues and not a friendly person.

Unfortunately one of the worst accommodations I stayed at during my entire Sri Lanka trip. The bed sheets were already dirty at check-in. After I complained, they were changed – but the new sheets were still stained and dirty. The overall cleanliness was extremely poor. The room felt neglected and unhygienic; I didn’t even want to hang my clean clothes there. The hotel was also very loud. People were sitting and talking loudly directly in front of the rooms until around midnight, making it impossible to rest. I stayed in several hostels during my trip, and every single one of them was cleaner than this hotel. Absolutely not recommended if you care about cleanliness or sleep. I strongly advise future guests to choose another place.

We vonden kleine beestjes in bed. Na verwisselen lakens, kwamen ze weer tevoorschijn, vanuit het matras. Op ons verzoek een andere kamer gekregen, maar ook die kamer was niet schoon, met schimmel, en niet onderhouden. Ook in de gangen en trap was er al tijden niet schoongemaakt. Wifi was er zeer slecht. Verblijf ingekort naar 1 nacht.

The hotel was brilliant. It is located in a calm and quiet place. Rooms and washrooms were clean and tidy. Restaurant offered a good meal. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Much worthy for the price. Thus, I highly recommend.

When we inquired from the staff there were no manager no chef But hotel was full.with our hotel experience we think the food was prepared by trainee cook No taste no presentation.

The property needs an update, and the communal areas can be kept clean. Need descaling as the taps and toilet have been stained with limescale. Could do with having a towel rack.

The staff was friendly and the Breakfast was so delicious.

Cleanliness of the bathrooms is poor and shower mixture valve did not work properly.

Loved it... I have booked two normal rooms there and after a day they shifted us to the bigger one due to my kids. 😊 Both girls (receptionist)are very helpful and kitchen staff is also very good. Anusha's service is also nice.
