The Dedo Boutique Hotel is in a great location. In different directions, it is a 15-20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, the Florence Duomo, Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, Medici Chapel, and the main train station. The staff is very nice and attentive. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was quiet and effective. I like that they have a double bed and 2 twin beds, since we were traveling with our two kids. The breakfast (included) was the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen in a hotel - an assortment of meats and cheeses, pastries, mini pizzas, cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, etc. It was very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!

A hospitalidade dos funcionários é maravilhosa, fazem muito além do que o esperado. Te auxiliam em tudo e tornam a experiência muito mais tranquila. Não tinha café da manha, mas está sempre disponível café, chá e muitas delícias que podem pegar e comer no quarto, levar para passeios …..Outro ponto é a localização, excelente!!!!!! Muito próximo (15-20 min) a vários pontos turísticos de Roma e a pontos de ônibus. Não poderia deixar de falar do quarto, do conforto, ar condicionado….

El edificio histórico es muy bonito. A espaldas del Río Arno. A 10 minutos caminando de la terminal de trenes.

El edificio es histórico, por lo que el área de acceso es oscura y fría. El elevador muy pequeño. La instalación es más propia de una oficina pública, que de un hospedaje.

We had a very good stay at this hotel and were pleased with our choice. The location is particularly convenient, as it is easy to access the city from here and get around to the main attractions and other places of interest. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained, making it a pleasant place to relax after a day of exploring. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, and the facilities provide everything you would expect for a comfortable stay. We also found the location very useful for getting to restaurants, shops and other amenities nearby. Having easy access to the city made a big difference and allowed us to make the most of our time without spending too much time travelling.

Un rapport qualité prix parfait. Un hôtel très propre, les personnels d'accueil sont très serviables. J'ai énormément apprécie Mme L. qui a été très à l'écoute et de bons conseils. Petit déjeuner très bien présenté et qui est parfait pour un 3 étoiles. Il est très bien situé par rapport au centre et aux monuments à visiter. Je recommande.

We had a great stay! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had a good variety of food with plenty of options to choose from. The location is excellent — only about a 10-minute walk from the main attractions, with the river just around the corner. The train station is also only about a 10-minute walk away, which made getting around very convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay with a great location, friendly service, and a good breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

The only minor downsides were that the shower was a bit small and the bathroom door was quite noisy when closing. Other than that, everything was great.

Caminando desde estación Santa María Novella al hotel te encuentras algunas personas "alternativas" y no inspira mucha seguridad, aunque no tuvimos ningún problema. En cambio, del hotel hacia el centro, todo bien. A 100 m ya encuentras 2 hoteles de lujo y la zona es tranquila. El desayuno es correcto. Habitación triple de medida suficiente para tres y muy limpio todo. El personal superamable (todos ellos) y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Muchas gracias!

Seguramente en el checkin y dado que nos dieron muchas explicaciones, posiblemente se olvidaron de explicar que la llave para abrir la puerta de la calle no tiene la cerradura en la misma puerta, sino debajo de los timbres, con lo cual no conseguíamos abrirla. Por suerte, llamamos al timbre y nos abrieron en seguida. Por lo demás, todo muy bien.

Terrible stay. Their air conditioning systems were not working, and all of them were displaying an error code indicating a problem with the central system. They changed our room, but the second room had the exact same problem with the air conditioning. On top of that, the curtain was still torn, and the bathroom window was moldy and damaged. Overall, it was an awful experience.

The location was convenient, and the staff did try to help when we reported that the air conditioning was not working properly by moving us to another room. Unfortunately, the AC was not working properly in the second room either. In Florence in August, having properly functioning air conditioning is essential, so this was a major issue during our stay.

The air conditioning was not working properly in either of the rooms we were given. The first room was too hot, so we were moved to another room, but the AC there had exactly the same problem. The system displayed a message indicating 19°C, but the room was clearly nowhere near that temperature. We were told there was nothing else that could be done because it was “not that hot” and were advised to open the window. This is not a reasonable solution in Florence in August, especially with mosquitoes. Even the staff were sweating, which showed how uncomfortable the temperature actually was. My parents are 65 and were unable to sleep properly because of the heat, neither was I. We were told that the hotel could not cancel the stay or refund the money. The maximum they offered was €40 and not charging the city tax (€6 per person). Booking.com then sent us an offer for the €40 refund around midnight, with only four hours to accept it, until 4:00 AM, obviously while we were sleeping. In the end, we did not receive the €40 refund; the hotel simply did not charge the city tax, which amounts for less that 20 euros. For a hotel in Florence, where summer temperatures can be very high, reliable air conditioning should be a basic requirement. If the AC is set to a temperature around 25°C or simply cannot cool the room properly, guests should be informed before booking.

Posizione e Colazione

Me gustó absolutamente todo, superó mis expectativas. El personal es super atento y amable, y hablaban español (y los que no, se esforzaban por hablarlo). La habitación era perfecta: amplia, cómoda y limpia. El desayuno es muy bueno. No hay mucha variedad, pero todo lo que hay está realmente bueno. La ubicación es perfecta. A pocos minutos andando de la estación de tren, y a unos 10-15 min andando del centro, un paseo muy agradable. Sin duda repetiré estancia cuando vuelva a la ciudad. Gracias!

Air conditioning and plumbing was quite noisy during the night.

The hotel has good facilities and is in a convenient location. However, the entrance is a little difficult to find and can be slightly confusing at first. Overall, the price is reasonable, and it offers good value for the money.

Location, convenience and their staff were all very very good. The only improvement the need to make is either allow for AC to be at a lower temp or provide fans. The AC was just able to make the temp comfortable and nothing more. When weather hits 100 degrees consistently coming back to the hotel room should provide respite.

AC was set at a high temp that didn’t make it feel cool. Bathroom was very very small.

La cercanía de la estación de trenes, buena ubicación, barrio muy tranquilo, buen desayuno, nos tenían alternativas sin gluten, personal muy amable.

La habitación no tiene buena vista, comedor del desayuno con ambiente frío, le faltaba música ambiental. La ducha pequeña.

Todos os funcionários foram muito simpáticos, a localização do hotel era ótima, fora do tumulto e ainda bem central, e o quarto tinha um bom tamanho. O café da manhã também era ótimo.

O ar condicionado não conseguiu dar vazão em meio à onda de calor e o chuveiro poderia ser maior

Perfect for early plane and airport

Stanze pulite e grandi il giusto, staff super simpatico, molto d'aiuto e cordiale, ottima colazione.

I vetri delle finestre sono sottili, entra molto rumore esterno. La cosa positiva è che la stanza non si affacciava sulla strada, ma purtroppo c'era un cantiere vicino.

Posizione della struttura molto comoda per arrivare sia alla stazione che all’ippodromo, camera accogliente e pulita, con tutto il necessario, personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Excelente localização, próxima a estação é muito próximo ao rio. Bom para turistas ou para uma viagem a trabalho. Ótima limpeza. Funcionários muito simpáticos.

O quarto é um pouco barulhento e o chuveiro fica com a temperatura da água oscilando.

La dame blonde du service petit déjeuner est très intolérante si on dépasse d’un peu l’heure limite du petit déjeuner déjà payé dans la réservation. Elle n’est pas très conciliante.

Si tratta di un hotel con relativamente poche camere il che rende un ambiente e di conseguenza il lavoro degli operatori particolarmente attento ed ospitale. È un posto dove sono tutti molto gentili, molto pulito e molto comodo per quanto riguarda gli spostamenti verso il centro della città.

Sarebbe stato bene avere camere un pochino più grandi, però tutto sommato erano abbastanza confortevoli.

Mostly the Staff, the manager was excellent, sweet, helpful, and always ready to advise and help. The hotel is within walking distance to most main attractions in Firenze. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a good bathroom and silent air conditioning. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices, fruits, yogurt, breads, etc.

The bathroom was tiny, under 1m wide, hard to move even for an average size person. Also, not at all sound proofed, you can hear everything at night, can be hard to sleep.

מזגן לא פעל כל הלילה ואין עם מי לדבר, מאד חם היה 38 מעלות. אין למלון חנייה, הגענו עם רכב שכור וגבו ללילה 30 יורו נוספים על חנייה. דלת האמבטיה לא נסגרת, נתקעת בחצי מהלך ברצפה. במקלחת מים מתחלפים מרותחים לקרים באמצע המקלחת , מאד הפריע לנו.

What can one say about this excellent hotel? Wonderful rooms with excellent decoration and beautiful views. The rooms were spotlessly clean every day and the place was very beautiful. The breakfast was complete and delicious. The location is excellent, as it is very close to the train station, but also very close to the city center, since Florence is a city where you don't need a car. The staff is very polite and kind. An excellent experience. It is worth visiting.

We had 2 different rooms durning our stay the 2 nd room had a floor tile loose on bathroom floor, a sink that was partially blocked. But the water pressure was the biggest problem as when showering it would go scolding hot intermittently,

Huoneen koko oli pieni ja erityisesti kylpyhuone oli kapea ja epäkäytännöllinen. Kylpyhuoneessa haisi viemäri. Huoneessa oli itikoita. Muutamina öinä kuului yllättävän paljon häiritsevää melua naapurihuoneista.

A/c can gurgle a lot - you need ear plugs to sleep with it on Shower was quite tight and temperature was hard to get consistent. There were regular pulses of scolding hot water so it needed the handset holding by hand to avoid these. For a claimed 17sq m double (I deliberately didn’t book a basic double) the room felt v tight - the bathroom door could even fully open without hitting the bed. For one this is manageable but I couldn’t recommend the room for 2 - there’s just not enough space to move.

The room was a good size and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was very good as well.

The shower changed temperature frequently even without moving the handle. The breakfast room was a little small.

Hotelli oli siisti ja kävelymatkan päässä Arno-joesta sekä tärkeimmistä nähtävyyksistä. Aamiaishuone oli pieni, mutta tarjonta laadukas ja riittävän runsas. Respan Laura oli poikkeuksellisen ystävällinen ja avulias.

Hotellissa on paljon portaita, joten se ei sovellu huonojalkaisille. Kolmannessa kerroksessa sijaitsevaan respaan pääsee hissillä, mutta hissi on todella pieni ja hidas.

- my room was a bit noisy as 2 central AC units were ouside my window - the AC in the room was "stack" at 19 C (not possible to increase temperature), I asked for someone to fix, but during my 4 nights stay it wasn't fixed. - the matrice was a bid hard for me
