This was my last night during my 2 month travels in SE and I had a great experience. The area is fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful. I also enjoyed that the hostel had vegetarian options. I was able to experience the DJ on the rooftop my last night in Asia which was very fun. I will definitely stay longer when I go back!

Really great hostel for nightlife right in the heart of most partying and good food. The reps maddie and gwen made the experience super memorable.

The staff and the food

My spot because I was placed under the aircon. The staff gave me thick comforter though coz its was really cold.

They are scammers. They They charged me twice (once when I booked, and once again after my stay) and don't reply to my messages.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the rooftop bar. Location & vibe was just right.

Switched to a single room after the first night for a much better experience (had to make a separate booking). In the mixed dorm room the bed was directly under the AC with no way to adjust the wind direction; bed also had no partition/curtain even though there was a rod for one to be attached so I had to hang my scarf & towels for privacy; also was not comfortable with the behavior of one man in the mixed room.

This hostel experience was amazing with an amazing young team that makes you feel at home and comfortable. Amazing location and the bed is really comfortable. Go for it. Keep going. Blessings to all the team

Small details that could be improved is to change and repair old, rusty shower shelves in the bathroom otherwise it was an amazing experience.

After online payment by booking.com the hotel staff wanted extra Money. They know it's not "legal" but they don't give a shit. Worst staff ever... arrogant & ignorant

Friendly staff, very clean, good food, nice rooms

The windows aren’t acousticly isolated, so lots of noise from the street at night come through to the rooms. Please put better/new windows. 3-layered glass will solve this. Water pressure from the shower was a bit low. Sometimes when I was waiting for ordering food. The staff would sit there and play games on their phones and not notice me. Other than that, lots of kind people at the front desk.

Rooms are in much better condition with everything working, clean, and maintained. I’ve stayed at a few hostels in this area and this is the best, especially if you prefer a private room.

Totally a subjective thing - but the street side area is really a missed opportunity. They have a cafe and space out front but it’s under-utilised and more a place to sit/stand while smoking a cigarette. Put some tables and chairs and make a smoking outdoor coffee chill out space, you will find more people going there for coffee and cigarettes more comfortably. As a smoker we always want a coffee or drink and to sit down and people watch and ponder. I think the cafe will be more of a money maker if they made it more inviting in that outside area. I found myself going to other cafes to have a morning smoke and meal due to this.

La localización es muy buena. Tiene una azotea con unas vistas estupendas.

Love the vibe of the hostel and the size of the bed. The staff are friendly and helpful. I also commend them for granting my request. It was simple but it helped me get the rest I needed.

The beds have no privacy curtains. That should be addressed considering that I stayed in mixed dormitory. The noise is anticipated since there's a rooftop bar and the location is filled with bars as well.

La ubicación es perfecta. Hay muy buen ambiente dentro del hostel y el personal es muy agradable, te ayuda mucho. Además tiene una terraza estupenda :)

Quizás que por la mañana viene el personal de limpieza a las habitaciones, a veces sin llamar.

Heerlijk hostel in het hart van Makati. Vooral de rooftop bar is echt een aanwinst! Dat de eerste cocktail ook nog eens gratis is geeft alleen maar meer reden om hier te boeken.

It was okay for a budget hostel. My favorite part was the roof deck bar.

It gets noisy at times since it's in Poblacion. No soundproofing.

Personal muy amable. Rico desayuno.

Mucho ruido. Está junto a una discoteca que tuvo música muy fuerte hasta las 4 am. La habitación no está bien insonorizada y parecía que los altavoces estaban justo pegados al cristal de la ventana. Incluso ubicados en un quinto piso pudimos descansar bien en toda la noche.

Good location, good activities, nice rooftop

Between the receptionist and the person attending the bar next to the reception, I rarely saw less smiling and nice people working in hostels than them. I also had a cockroach in the room which is a pleasant surprise when you are tired I guess. There is another hostel in front of them, maybe you should try that one

The hostel has a really great rooftop, the staff is really nice and they do everything so that people become close or at least communicate with each other. I had a really great time, I recommend

Its amazing hostel the staff and service looks 5 stars hotel and I arrive so late the reception desk shes really kind and they have check out at 11 she's said you have check in late you can do check out late they will not charge me extra fee .I recommend it billion %

Unfortunately there is a rooftop next to the private room (5th floor) that keeps going everyday until 5am and it’s impossible to get some sleep. If your plan is to party everyday- go for it. But it you were like me on the end of the trip and just needing to get some sleep, be aware

Très bel établissement situé dans un petit quartier sympa, café et restaurant à proximité à pieds, le rooftop est un plus avec sa vue sur la ville ! Petit déjeuner délicieux

Nothing

This was one of the nicest, funnest, more comfortable hostels I have stayed at in south east asia. In fact, I liked it so much I came back a few weeks later. It has an excellent social vibe. There are locals and foreigners who hang out on their beautiful rooftop every night - so you'll always be around good company. The location is unbeatable. The beds are so so comfortable. The staff who work there are also really fun and helpful. Shout-out to Gwen for alway putting on a great show with Karaoke.

The place was very comfortable and nice, everything was in the place,from the breakfast to the lunch. People so nice 😄.

Location, friendliness, vibe

Bathroom could be cleaner. Private room needs plug sockets next to bed, not on other side of room.

I am coming back here always when traveling through Manila. Location is good, hostel has great wibe, nice roof top, activities for people to have fun. Staff is very friendly, there is a breakfast included and they are cooking whole day and food is good. Rooms are not very big, but you dont expect this when staying in shared rooms. And every room has own bathroom which is great. And people are respective to each other, I never had experience with anyone being loud at night in a room even if returning from pub (or maybe I am lucky :-D)

Die Lage ist wirklich zentral, wenn man Party möchte. Es war eigentlich schon sauber, nur etwas runtergekommen. Der Preis war gut und die Dachterrasse cool.

Also wenn man nicht vorhat selbst die Nächte durchzufeiern, ist das Hostel nicht geeignet. Wir kamen von einem sehr langen Flug mit Layover. An Schlaf war wegen dem Lärm von außen und innen kaum zu denken. Das Frühstück bestand aus Toast, Ei nach Wahl, Marmelade, Butter und Peanutbutter. Zum heißen Wasser gibt es aber leider keinen Tee. Die Umgebung wirkte eigentlich cool, jedoch hatten wir direkt vor dem Hostel eine unschöne Begegnung mit einer Verfolgungsjagd durch straffällige Partygäste aus dem Club nebenan. Danach habe ich mich nicht mehr wohl gefühlt ehrlich gesagt.

I'm staying at the hotel indefinitely and on 4/19/2026 at around 10 am I went to the front desk and asked to pay for an extension, the girl told me it's all booked and there are no rooms available. If only I can move my things as I work during the day I would find a better hotel, so I checked booking.com and they still have rooms. I guess she doesn't want Filipino customers

Leuke rooftop bar, prima bedden, leuk personeel en fijn ontbijt. Dikke prima voor een paar nachten!

De mensen in onze kamer waren een beetje vaag en ‘s nachts voornamelijk wakker. Dus beetje onrustig geslapen. Verder vond ik het een beetje vage vibe wel maar kan aan mij liggen (en kwam miss door de mensen).

Unfortunately our flight was cancelled, so we didn’t get to stay at the hostel. Of course, due to the cancellation policy we couldn’t get a refund, which we completely understood. However, when we arrived in Manila the following day, we contacted the hostel to ask if we could still leave our luggage there for the day, as we had originally planned before the flight was cancelled. They kindly agreed, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. We left our luggage there while exploring the city until our midnight flight home. We also had the chance to visit the rooftop before leaving, which was very nice, and the staff there were friendly as well.

Nothing to mention from our short interaction, as the staff were very accommodating despite us not being able to stay.

The location is great. I walked around and found lots to eat and do. The walking tour was fun and educational. The volunteers at the hostel were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and there were lockers. The breakfast was fabulous!

Private room was clean and comfortable and good value for the money paid. This included a free drink at the rooftop bar which was a nice touch. Good location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The rooftop bar has an amazing view.

A lot of noise coming from nearby bars so would advise bringing earplugs.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Das Zweibettzimmer hatte eine ausreichende Größe. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Betten waren unbequem und machten bei jeder Bewegung Geräusche. Außerdem gab es nur eine dünne Decke (eher so ein Überwurf/Wolldecke). Zimmer wirkte abgewohnt. Klimaanlage war sehr laut musste aber an bleiben, da ansonsten zu warm.

Location, free breakfast (which is really filling), prompt response of the kind staff to requests, questions or inquiries.

Maybe they need more new towels for use of guests. Also we need rags in the bathroom.
