Die Lage des Hotels hat uns gefallen,da es direkt am Wasser lag und man einen relativ schönen Ausblick hatte.

Das Restaurant war geschlossen.Damit hatten wir aufgrund anderer Bewertungen gerechnet,sodass wir uns darauf einstellen konnten. Die Schließung sollte deutlich auf der Homepage erkennbar sein. Die Balkontür war sehr schwer zu öffnen.

Man wurde mitten in der Nacht nach Ankunft der BC Fähre wirklch superfreundlich und schnell eingecheckt. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet mit sehr praktischem und schönem Bad. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.

It was so comfortable, reasonably priced and the locations was superb!

The sliding door tbat was very stiff to move back and forth! It needs to get fixed. Also there was no dinner dining available as it was in renovations. We did not know that. We had to look for another placs for dinner.

Wonderful location; we could observe jumping salmon from our room balcony and the view on the port was stunning.

Although advertized as 4 star, this was actually an ageing 3 star motel. A bit pricey but still very nice because of the view

Very comfortable room. Staff Very helpful and pleasant Patio doors opened up a fantastic view of the bay and wildlife, bald eagles, seals and sea otters, great short stay.

No breakfast offered. Convenient location for a late night arrival from Prince Rupert ferry. Room and building exterior appeared to be recently renovated. Room was clean and comfortable.

Jederzeit wieder.

De kamer lag goed gelegen in afstand naar verschillende locaties. Snel bij het centrum, snel op de snelweg plus we zaten prachtig met het wijde uitzicht over het water en de avond. Elke dag zagen we minimaal 10 zee Arends voorbij vliegen en jagen. Ook zag we elke ochtend en avond zeehonden

Het kon nog wel eens wat lawaaierig zijn als er meer bezoekers waren maar dit was eigenlijk heel nihil. Je hoorde af en toe wat

Rooms were very clean and had fantastic views. Daily housekeeping too, which was very much appreciated.

Fantastic Location, with a spectacular view. Very well appointed room, with comfortable furnishings. A good bed and fantastic pillows.

Front desk, check-in, clerk was difficult to deal with, then placed me in a room above noisy in house consruction, knowing I requested an early check in requiring a nap... She lacked basic understanding of logical reasoning and became somewhat defensive & combative... The evenig girl & night shift gal were superb!... Professional, courteous, personable, respectful, and a sense of humour...10/10 for those two girls... See attahed pic's from my room view.

My go to hotel in Port Hardy ocean view ,quiet and peaceful

Location great - a short walk into town, no breakfast though..

The bar was being refurbished...so we had to go out, not a major issue but would have been nicce to know.

Top notch staff that went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Unbeatable view from the balcony of the Harbour. We were able to see many seals which was fantastic

They are still doing renovations in the restaurant, which was supposed to be finished, yet its now delayed quite some time. With few places to eat, that's a huge issue.

The sink was plugged in the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush very well. Then the lights went out. It was a blackout for two hours from nine until 11:30 the electricity finally came back on when it was time to go to sleep

The price was a bit 'rich' given amenities and availability. We were catching an up coast ferry early the next day and needed the accommodation to suit, you have to pay the rate. Having stayed at this Inn once before, expectations were high, delivery a little bit less.

The amazing view

It's been a while since I've stayed here but thought I would give it another try specifically because I was expecting to have an early morning and the restaurant has a good breakfast. The woman at the desk was super friendly and welcoming. The views are nice - second floor would be much better than lower level. The parking lot is ample. It's a short drive off the highway in a quiet location.

Unfortunately the restaurant was under renovation and closed which was unfortunate as this was the entire reason I chose this property. Also some of the rooms were being reno'd and I ended up being put in a room right beside this noise. I ended up getting called out to work a day early and was not issued a refund for the unused night. I wasn't really expecting one as obviously I was within the cancellation time frame, but it would have taken the edge off the frustration and noise of the renos. I didn't realize they had a gym which I would have appreciated as well - it's only in looking up their cancellation policy that I noted the gym.

Die beiden Queen-size Betten waren wirklich sehr bequem und man konnte gut darin schlafen. Das Zimmer hat eine gute Größe bei der man sich ausbreiten könnte. Es gab auch einen bequemen Sessel zum relaxen. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und ziemlich neu .

Das Restaurant war wegen Renovierung geschlossen und auch sonst hat diese Unterkunft wenig zu bieten. Es ist eine reine Unterkunft zum Schlafen, dabei könnte man den Gästen hier etwas mehr bieten..

My Dad and I come up to the Glen Lyon every year, and it is always a great experience. The staff there are absolutely incredible! In particular I want to thank KRISTY, who found my very expensive Bose earbuds that I had forgotten when I checked out the day before. After searching my room...twice...she started searching other areas and found them in the laundry room. I would never have thought to check there. THANK YOU KRISTY!!

Grateful they stayed up to welcome us at 1am, off the ferry. Pleasant staff.

The view was fantastic. Bed comfortable. Room was fine, clean. Check in was easier than check out.

Restaurant was under repair. We picked that property because it had a restaurant and pub so that was disappointing to not know ahead of time. Asked for a receipt. Was told "no" because I booked thru booking.com

It’s quite expensive for what it is but at the same time, Port Hardy is quite remote!

We booked the Glen Lyon based on the restaurant and bar facilities and were told upon arrival that the restaurant and bar were not available. We could not find a restaurant in town that was open so ended up eating snacks that we had. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable and it had a spectacular view.

I loved the ocean view from the property. Convenient location and great staff.

Air was very stale in the room. Strange odor. Poor drainage in the sink and shower. Got sick just being in the room. Staff was nice though.

We arrived late on the ferry from Prince Rupert (1.30am). Fortunately they were open and reception was friendly. Room was good size. Bed reasonably comfortable

No restaurant for breakfast. Would have been nice to have been offered some fresh milk to make a cup of tea in the morning

The room was very dated and there was a bit of a smell in the room. The bathroom smelled of mold. The view was nice and the staff was friendly.

The rooms are OK, however, they are tired and dated, but they are clean. The property in most particular behind the property could use a little bit of work. All in all it wasn’t terrible.

Laundry facilities onsite. Great views from each room. Great accessibility and ample parking. Restaurant onsite and a pub, both have awesome ocean views. Great location, close to town but not so close that its too noisy.
