Friendly staff and excellent location, walking distance from Summerstand beach.

The basin in the bathroom is too shallow and the unit that we stayed in also feels a bit small when you are not a couple that is sharing.

The online booling was easy and when we arrived the check-in was quick and efficient. Our host was very friendly and the rooms were spacious and very clean It is a beautiful guest house.

Great room, very comfortable. Helpful owners. Breakfast was nice and the staff were wonderful but it was quite limited in that you had to have a prescribed breakfast of omlette. I was really pleased with our room.

There are a few steps so if you have mobility issues its not that easy. Other than that it was lovely.

La struttura si trova in posizione strategica, a pochi minuti di auto dall’aeroporto di Port Elizabeth; comodissima la possibilità di parcheggiare il veicolo nella corte privata. Gli host sono molto gentili e disponibili ed offrono una buona colazione all’inglese.

Staff, cleanliness comfort and location convenience

I always enjoy staying at Conifer Beach House and would happily return. The staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable overall, and the bedding and housekeeping were excellent. I also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. I do have a few suggestions that I hope will help improve future guests' experience. The bath towels are due for replacement, as they appeared quite worn and tired. The mattress, while still comfortable enough, has clearly seen better days and could benefit from being replaced in the near future. My biggest disappointment was the hot water. Given the cold weather, I was looking forward to a hot shower, but the water was only lukewarm. I understand that the geyser temperature may be adjusted to save electricity, but a slightly hotter shower would make a significant difference to guests' comfort given winter season. One additional suggestion would be to expand the breakfast options. It would be wonderful to include healthier savoury choices such as oats or porridge for guests who prefer a less sweet but healthy breakfast. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and appreciate the friendly service and excellent cleanliness. With a few improvements, particularly to the towels, mattress, hot water, and breakfast options, Conifer Beach House would provide an even better guest experience

The rooms were large and well equipped with beautiful finishes. Each room had a garden view located in a way to allow privacy while being located close enough for our group to be able to access each other.

The only thing that could be improved would be the towels, but it wasn’t really an issue.

Старый номер. Дверь в номер еле открывалась, замок постоянно заклинивало. Номер грязный, на кране и душе известковые налеты и следы плесени. Противно хоть к чему-то прикасаться. Дверь между спальней и ванной комнатой отсутствует, хотя она совершенно точно там должна быть. Таким образом, когда один из постояльцев (пардон) справляет нужду, второй может может наблюдать в деталях за происходящим, лежа на кровати. И это не дизайнерская задумка как вы можете подумать, просто дверь кто-то выломал и ее не удосужились поставить на место. Вишенкой на торте было отсутствие света, когда мы приехали. Дали его на два часа в 10 вечера. Отсутствовала и горячая вода, хотя при заселении нам пообещали хотя бы ее. Отвратительный район. Под окнами у нас явно кто-то курил траву. Всю ночь за углом была тусовка не вполне трезвых людей. Впервые в ЮАР несмотря на то что до этого мы путешествовали уже две недели от Кейптауна и доехали до Порт Элизабет мы почувствовали себя настолько в небезопасности.

Breakfast was exceptional. I can recommend the omelette with everything in : ) Staff super friendly. Sparkling pool was a bonus.

During the week I was scheduled to stay at the property, I was forced to cancel my reservation due to extreme weather conditions in the region. Several news reports were warning about severe storms and winds reaching up to 100 km/h, making it unsafe to proceed with the trip. I requested the cancellation of the reservation due to force majeure circumstances; however, the hotel refused to accept the cancellation. In addition, the property did not respond to the messages sent through the platform.

The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. The shower was excellent. There was a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities and a little fridge. The man kindly gave us a packed breakfast as we left early in the morning.

The TV only had one channel. We didn't much care for the general area in which it was located, although we could walk to some shops in the day time only. We didn't really feel welcome when we arrived.

The location was good, it was very clean and very comfortable. It exceeded my expectations.

Kitchen

Room seemed to be cold even with basic wall heater on. Managed to get only one channel on the TV. TV controls probably need to be replaced as they were broken. Wi fi was very sporadic. From time to time there was an annoying vibration noise (particularly when trying to sleep) coming through the wall/ most probably from the next door units fan or air conditioner.

Breakfast, as always, is both delicious and beautifully presented! The rooms are spacious, clean, and lovingly decorated. Easy walk to almost everything. Staff always great you with a smile and are very helpful!

This is my fourth visit to conifer. This staff are always amazingly helpful and friendly the places beautifu land clean and the breakfast is amazing.

The way we were received and assisted with booking in and friendliness of Michael. Room was pleasant and clean. Location ideal as it was close to the airport and we had to leave very early.

The sounds of the Mosque across the road (which we understand is not within Conifer's control) Could invest in larger towels.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Fresh juices, baked bread, eggs to order and more! Staff went above and beyond to make the stay memorable and exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, grounds are flower filled, and the pool inviting!

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was beautifully furnished and just stunning. Our room was comfortable with plenty of storage. And there was a space that included coffee/tea making (instant), a fridge and a microwave. We had a large bathroom and chairs on the porch outside our door. There was parking inside the gate. A pool. The main reception, breakfast area. The beach was two blocks away, the Airport 10 minutes. Perfect

Black out curtains would have been nice.

The rooms were nice and spacious, however the shower head on room 4 wasn't working properly. Other than that the rooms are well maintained and clean. We didn't have much interaction with the staff. The reception old man was really friendly.

Great location next to main beach road with lots of restaurants etc It was a lot bigger than we realised. It was only when we came to breakfast, we found lovely sitting areas by a pool. Secure parking

I've stayed at Conifer several times over the past couple of years and it always feels like coming home. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the house itself is charming (actually 2 houses abutting a courtyard), their breakfast is fantastic, and they really go out of their way to make sure you have what you need.

The bathrooms are a little dated, but the showers are hot and good water pressure!

BATHROOM DRAINAGE IS SMELLING SO BAD.

The breakfast was very good but there was a slight problem ' we booked for breakfast but booking.com had not included it in our payment (unbeknown to us ) however, Michael organised breakfast for us and we offered to pay the extra but he refused, out curtesy to us, which we really appreciated, thank you Michael.

Railings are needed on all steps - we battled with the steps without railings (both of us having had hip and knee replacements.)

Das Zimmer war durch ein Dachfenster, welches nicht abzudunkeln geht leider sehr hell.

The breakfast was superb. The room was very comfortable with a microwave, bar fridge, Coffee/tea, cutlery and crockery and a very comfortable bed. The building is lovely and there is a very nice pool area. Plenty of parking. Our room also had a work desk, and I was able to work from the house way after check-out time, which was extremely convenient. There is also a lovely little patio area. Staff are very friendly. It is also a short and pleasant walk along the promenade to the beach and Boardwalk Mall.

We stayed in room 6, and the only down side was that there is a small window that has no curtain, so if you are light sensitive, there is light that shines through the window into the room, especially being a full moon. There is also a shelf over the basin that is a bit too low. It just needs to be raised in order to avoid bumping your head when brushing your teeth.

Close proximity to where I needed to be

Through o fault of the guest house, due to power outages, need to take your own portable lights/power banks.

Friendly staff and lovely room. Very clean and perfect for that we needed.

There was an issue with the electricity which I understand is out of the control of the property, but I was able to charge my phone in reception. They’re installing solar to help mitigate the power outages which is great to hear.

Für abendliche Aktivitäten benötigt man aus Sicherheitsgründen ein Auto, obwohl die Restaurants fussläufig waren

Goede bedden, heerlijk ontbijt.

O hotel fica muito bem localizado e é ideal para quem vai começar a garden route. O quarto é amplo e confortavel e com um café da manhã incrível.

Wir wurden sehr nett und verbindlich empfangen. Als Flughafen Hotel perfekt. Es ist sind nur 10 Minuten zum Flughafen. Dicht zum Wasser und zu Restaurants. Leider hatten wir Stromausfall und hatten eine Lampe zum Aufladen bekommen.

Es war sehr hellhörig und auf der Straße wird bis wir über Mitternacht hinaus gefeiert. Sehr laut. Uns wurde empfohlen abends nicht alleine draußen uns zu bewegen. Das hatten wir die kompletten 14 Tage Gardenroute von Kapstadt bis Port Elizabeth nicht.

A passagem pela hospedagem foi rápida, mas bastante positiva. Chegamos à noite e fomos muito bem recebidos pelo anfitrião. O local é bonito, calmo, seguro e serviu perfeitamente como ponto de parada para descansar e tomar café antes de seguirmos viagem. Quarto: bastante espaçoso, com uma pequena cozinha equipada, geladeira, micro-ondas, camas confortáveis, ar-condicionado e ventilador. O banheiro também é amplo e conta com chuveiro de boa pressão. Infraestrutura: o espaço é confortável e conta com um bonito jardim e piscina ao ar livre, que, infelizmente, não tivemos tempo de aproveitar. Também dispõe de estacionamento. Café da manhã: muito gostoso. Preparam ovos na hora, além de servirem iogurte e pães quentinhos com geleia e manteiga, acompanhados de suco e chocolate quente ou café com leite. Localização: ambiente silencioso e, de carro, próximo ao centro comercial, às praias e ao aeroporto.

Wau, i don't have words to say, everything was the best, the welcoming from the manager. The breakfast was served was fresh and healthy. I love the way they were approaching us, the manner we received was perfect and genuine. The rooms were very clean, thanx to Yandie the lady who was cleaning and also preparing our breakfast on time. I love the way they communicate with us. Thank you all that was involved in making us to be free and happy in the guest house. Definitely we will come back. That was awesome not forgetting the beauty of the place was wau i liked it so much❤️🤏🤏

Great place, very friendly owner and staff, event helped us with dinner reservations. Comfortable, clean and modern room. Location is convenient for excursions etc (PE centre itself is not worth visiting for tourism). Very good breakfast.
