Bel hôtel très confortable. Une pause hors du temps. La suite familiale comporte deux belles chambres. Restaurant très bon. Piscine agréable. On peut y faire du canoë.

Le seul bémol : la suite familiale est au Rez de chaussée et les clients qui quittent la terrasse passent devant la fenêtre qui ne comporte pas de rideaux légers, uniquement des occultants. Donc par de lumière naturelle si on ne veut pas être vus.

The property is in a beautiful location and there’s beautiful views from the tent cabins and also from our room at the lodge. Beds are comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and ready to accommodate you in any way.

The rooms in the lodge were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and I liked having the fridge in the microwave. The tent cabins wasn’t exactly as clean as i prefer for the cost, my towel had a hole in it and also my sheets had some stains, but I’m sure they were fresh and clean. Hopefully. The fan above the bed could’ve been dusted, but that’s OK. Just minor things and there was no microwave or any spoons or anything for my coffee in the morning, but the staff is excellent in providing things and bringing things and helping you with anything you need at all.

Lots of bugs and spiders in the room which was not expected. Beautiful view , location, food in restaurant was very good but cost for one night accommodation seemed very high.

Beautiful location. The pool was very nice, and the kayaking and s’mores were a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were wonderful in helping us get an early check in and great to our kids.

While the location and property appeared beautiful, beneath that you can tell that the hotel needed a lot of attention. The room was surfaced cleaned and the sheets and towels were dirty and horribly stained. The furniture appeared to be old and the chairs by the pool are breaking and in bad condition. There was not enough pool or shower towels daily.

I paid for a room with a pool view, but I was given a different room without one. I had to complain to get the room changed. The room description mentioned a bathtub, but it didn't work; I wanted to use it to relax since it was my birthday, but when I asked, I was told it was out of order and that they needed to update their website information. That was the reason I chose this hotel in the first place. That was the only thing that bothered me; otherwise, everything was fine

The location, the waiters and the food at the restaurant, the pool and the possibility to borrow kayaks.

The apartment didn’t have a patio or a balcony, and during our three night stay, we didn’t have any house keeping.

We came here for a quiet relaxing 2 days. I am currently listening to very loud music for a wedding that I was not told would be taking place. It’s 11pm, I would imagine the music will be playing for at least another hour. No chance to get away from it. It is so loud and it’s not fair on other guests who have paid a lot of money to stay here. The music is bloody awful too. Furthermore, we left a suitcase on our bed when we went out today, housekeeping came and cleaned the room but failed to make the bed. For nearly 600 dollars a night, I would expect the bed to be made

We rented the Premium Tent house #56 overlooking the ocean. Totally awesome, complete privacy from the other tent houses. It was our 50th anniversary so I bit the bullet. You only get this chance once and it was worth every $ ... Did that with everything...the food was very high quality, the staff at reception / housekeeping / maintenance were quick to fix any requests / for evening visit to the social area, they serve special coffees and the staff engaged as if you were family...

Wrong word didn't like, I prefer to maintenance improvements that TLC'S the quality of the tent houses.. I noticed ours had beautiful fir and Arbutus trees all around it so when the sun would silhouette these trees on the canvass tent tops and moved in the wind amazing but they cause the need of washing more often and ours was due.The curtains were cool design for the porch overlooking the ocean but we're frayed so needing replacement. The sink needed new washers for the taps because the would drip always... But like I said minor repairs. I'm an ex maintenance guy...the majority would not of noticed. These did not take away our love of this precious time there.thanks again Mike and Karen ❤️🌹

The overall quiet and seclusion was wonderful, as was the magnificient view from our room. Front desk staff particularly friendly. The server in the dining room was chatty, friendly, attentive - excellent.

Two negatives. The evening meal we ordered was not good. I ordered a "Striploin Tasting" described as petite striploin filets from the front, centre, and back, on a mushroom risotto. The risotto was very good, but the 6 pieces of striploin were not good. - the first piece was fine, 2nd 3rd pieces were very chewy, 4th and 5th pieces were as tough as leather and about 1/3 grissle and the final piece - I couldn't cut it with my knife. Second, the property was, in general, clean and tidy, but the outside staircases needed more frequent brushing. Parking is available but, given the location on a rocky shoreline, can be understandably difficult.

Great staff, wonderful location, clean and comfortable. Spacious room with a fireplace, eating area, and large bathroom with a rain shower. Balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful view. Loved the free kayaking. Pool was wonderful.

A microwave in the room would be nice since there are not many food options close by.

I have been to the coast many times a year for many years. I stayed in the tents a few years ago in the fall and made a note that a summer visit was a must. The resort was amazing about bringing my pug which is a bonus. This time, I opted for a private cabin as my boyfriend was joining me from Seattle for the first time ever coming to the Sunshine Coast. Our trip from beginning to end was amazing. We spent three nights and I don’t think it could have been better! We died at the restaurant every day. We utilized the kayaks available. They had an amazing overall vibe because they put games out and encourage people to go to the swimming pool and encourage people to use the fire pit at night. The staff at the restaurant were amazing, especially a gal named Megan. I have been gushing to clients ever since we left, recommending that they check out the rock water resort.

In erster Linie hat uns die Lage der Unterkunft gefallen. Toller Blick aufs Wasser und Umgebung. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und bemüht um Lösungen für Probleme. Gut gefallen hat uns auch das Angebot einer kostenlosen Kanutour.

Das Zimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber - die Badezimmertür von innen total verstaubt und es sah so aus, als wäre die Renovierung nicht ganz fertig geworden. Die Fliegentür zum Balkon war leider auch mit Löchern gespickt und so waren etliche Fliegen im Zimmer. Die Treppe zum oberen Stockwerk war sehr steil und mit kurzen Treppenstufen versehen, was den Transport der Koffer erschwerte. Die Schallisolierung der Zimmertür zum Flur war sehr schlecht - man kann jeden Schritt hören. Die ganze Anlage ist an vielen Stellen renovierungsbedürftig, wenngleich man sieht, dass dies zum Teil rudimentär gemacht wird. Die Beschreibung jedenfalls wirkte auf uns anders, was das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in einem anderem Licht erscheinen lässt.

Beautiful location and such gorgeous views of the ocean

We stayed in a tent cabin and some of the tent seams and straps needed to be repaired.. but nothing too bad, still a beautiful place to stay Would love a hot tub by the pool

This resort has been here for many, many years. I was here 25 yrs ago but stayed in one of the cabins. This trip we stayed in a hotel room. The location is stunning & the cabins appear to have all been refurbished. The onsite restaurant serves beautiful dinner options & the staff there are excellent.

Unfortunately, on arrival we were given our room key to discover our room had not actually been cleaned from the previous guest. Our room attendant had already left for the day & the substitute attendant was quite annoyed that she had to clean the room. We understand her frustration but she also kept verbalizing it. Considering the high price we paid per night (approx $500/nt) the hotel is definitely looking shabby. Our understanding is the resort has recently been bought by a larger hotel chain & it appears there are further (much needed) renovations being done. Hopefully things improve.

The location.

We were visiting for a wedding. The venue as a wedding location is sensational. We stayed in one of the two Queen bed rooms in the main lodge. We felt it was reasonable value. The hotel venue on the whole felt like it needed more investment and more staff. The room did not have a hair dryer which seemed odd for the price point. In other ways our room was well appointed - air conditioning, nespresso, fridge etc. Room service would arrive late in the day. We had to ask for our shampoo / conditioner to be topped up. The pool area, whilst scenic, had a small number of loungers and the paint was all peeling off the floor. The restaurant had excellent food but was very minimally staffed. People waiting 1hr for food at breakfast time.

Food and drinks were all fabulous. Had a great kayaking experience for free! Amazing. The boardwalk at night is just stunning. Nature, nature, nature - felt bathed in light, water, wild trees and forest. Was excllent.

Swimming pool was not working, it was activated one day before checking out and it was not warmed

Lovely location, friendly staff and quiet accommodation. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent.

We felt that the entire place could have been cleaner. The room floor and the restaurant floor were not clean and the balcony glass railing had bird poop that had been there for a while so it took a little bit away from our lovely view.

The good: - kind staff - beautiful and quiet property - nice complimentary perks like s'mores, iced tea, kayaks etc

The bad: - I know the hotel cannot control nature but at the very least each room should have a mosquito net for the bed. I had my sliding door screen on and later just shut the whole thing, but somehow mosquitoes still entered. I woke up multiple times at night to find and kill mosquitoes. - it's possible the sheets either weren't washed or maybe weren't washed with enough detergent? I tried to cover myself head to toe with the thin top sheet at night because of the mosquitoes but noted the top sheet had the a faint sweat like odour?

Staff did not provide the service of a resort. You give the cc they give you the key. No info about the hotel, activities, nothing tour of the hotel, no help with the luggage. They have no elevator so had to carry all our bags. The closest good restaurant is about 20 mins away as the hotel food is not that good and doesn’t match price/quality. The mosquito door screen was teared from the side in our room so we had to practically always keep the door shut and we still got mosqitos in the room and got bit.

The view was the highlight of this property along with the amenities like the free kayaks, pool and s’mores. The staff is trying really hard to make it a pleasant stay for guests

The lodge room we stayed in was oddly furnished and everything was mismatched. No ramps for suitcases on the property. It was not peaceful with hearing every step of the people in the room above and was woken up in the middle of the night to a persistent banging noise. Housekeeping didn’t stop by until the evening and wasn’t a typical service, just dropped off some coffee pods we requested but no tidying was done. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again

Sauberkeit war nur ok. Mülleimer im Bad nicht komplett geleert, Teppich im Eingangsbereich nicht abgesaugt. Badezimmer mit Spinnweben und die Decke müsste dringend renoviert werden.

It’s stunning! The location (on the water) and amenities (the pool, the tree top boardwalk) were all awesome and much loved by my kids!

The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The only thing that wasnt great was that there was no side table. Very odd.

This resort is located on a lovely but isolated cove on the Sunshine coast, just a short drive north of Sechelt. Parking spots are scattered over the property and are quite a distance from the tent houses which are a long walk to get to on the boardwalk - not easy for senior guests.

We stayed in a tent house overlooking the ocean. Sounds decadent but the reality is you are in a canvas tent at a pricey room rate! The tent is cold although there is a heater, not sound proof so you hear everything around you including occupants in close by tents, and the wind off the ocean whips the canvas and plastic window covering at night making it a very loud environment to try to sleep at night. We had little sleep over the two nights as it was windy and felt like the tent could be lifted off. The front desk staff were made aware and offered no response, seemed not to care. Our room was not serviced while we were there although cleaning staff were close by and we were out exploring the area from mid morning to mid evening, so we had to request coffee supplies for the next morning. We actually tent camp each summer and it’s quieter as there’s no flapping canvas.

It had a nice view, food in the restaurant was decent

Poor maintenance, not clean, room was dirty and in state of poor repair, sliding door between bedroom and living room didn’t work. Bathroom had been ‘painted’ recently but not cleaned after, terrible access to shower, broken sink. Main parts of room hadn’t been cleaned well or vacuumed, floors were dirty and found scrunchie from previous guest beside the bed. Received no turn down service or fresh towels during stay.

Wonderful location overlooking the ocean. Within an hour of arrival, we had a power outage, and the hotel had no backup power, so we were in total darkness, cold, and frustrated. The internet connection is appealing, and the parking spot for our bungalow, No. 11, was too far away. Broken TV remote control, broken toilet seat, and an entrance door that looks like it has been broken into! The restaurant, however, was exceptionally good with a magnificent Bouillabaisse. All in all, far too expensive for the level of upkeep on offer!

We have been in the main house, and there are very outdated rooms.

The bed was very comfortable. The views are absolutely amazing.

The room was not super clean. The bathtub was dirty. The bed had stains on it. The sink was not clean. There was no AC so it was stifling hot. It’s not as luxurious as it seems to be.

On the water with beautiful setting. The bathroom had been recently remodeled and was nice. The on site restaurant is run by a different company. It was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. It had an old fake leather couch which was very uncomfortable in front of an electric fireplace. The aluminum windows looked out over the water but were so small and high the only way to see the water was to stand directly in front of them. The side windows opened but only one had a screen. Neither of the bedrooms had a view. The one we stayed in had a bed… no nightstands and no table lamps just the overhead lamp. The good news was they did install a switch that you couldn’t reach behind the headboard of the bed. But since you couldn’t get to it it was difficult to use. The good news was that when you got into bed the headboard would jiggle and turn the overhead light on and off. It was pretty funny, it not real helpful. They also don’t have enough parking spaces so you may be dragging your suitcases quite a ways to your room

Loved the boardwalk. Loved the tented suites. Loved the view. The bathtub was great and the hot water was quick.

The patio chair had a substantial tip in it and I asked for it to be replaced and it never was. The place is looking a little run down.

The location was exquisite! The bed was comfortable. Window shades provided privacy and light reduction.

Only half role of toilet paper with no extra. Very uncomfortable seating in the cabin. A fireplace that didn't work (Batteries for remote seemed new.) Icy floors. No extra blanket. No napkins with espresso service. Regular coffee and coffee mugs would have been better.

The unique experience in such a beautiful destination was absolutely fabulous

Where it was located & the tent house set ups

A beautiful Oceanside location with beautiful views and old trees. The remodelled fishing cabin were quite cute and comfortable. The spa was exceptional as were the staff and restaurant.

The heated pool was definitely not heated and was something that couldn’t be used even though it was advertised as heated and year round. That was disappointing. In these cooler months an option for a mobile sauna would be a great complement to a cold plunge in the sea or even the pool. A hot tub would be nice.

The structure and the feel of the tent and the luxurious stuff that was inside. View and weather was stunning to watch.

The front door of the tents always locks. So you have to use the key if you want to keep the door closed.

The yurt was so magical, we were cozy with the heated floor, gorgeous view and soaker tub also with a view!

I arrived late at night and the staff was very welcoming. The resort was very quiet and clean. The restaurant staff was also so nice and the food was so yummy. I will recommend this place for sure. And will stay here again when I'm in the area again.

The location and amenities. The kayaking was the icing on the cake.

The room needing painting and a refresh. The Tubird needed attention to detail in some of their food. I was surprised at the leniency around the kayaking. It can be a life threatening experience kayaking on the open ocean. More diligence should be paid to that because you are open to big liabilities.

The dinner service was great ! Our server was very attentive and nice. The food was average we really enjoyed the tent suite. It was private and the water view was just stunning. .

I had requested early check in but dis not recieve it. The attendent offered for us to use the for exmple the pool. However the pool was dirty. It had a merky green color.when we told him he seemed aware of this situation but still encouragef us to use it as the ph was balanced. There idnt seem like any urgency to fix this issue. Other hitel guests just sun bathed no one was using that pool . . At checkout the attendent offered to give us a discount on our next visit. A discount now would have been appreciated.

Staff we’re extremely sweet.

Main building is dated, facilities definitely could do with an upgrade. Definitely not worth the price. Bed had a massive trench in it as if someone had slept in the mattress for numerous nights on end.

Meals and staff were great

We smelled septic/sewage for 2 full days in our room. I kindly asked to be moved - but the resort was full understandably. But paying that much money to smell sewage is unacceptable. There were hairs in our bed sheets and there were beetles under the cabinets. There was a cleaning van outside our door for 2 days- blocking our sea view.

Food pricy and not really geared towards children Noisy neighbours on both sides. No air conditioning and the weather was hot. Pool did not open until 11am although there was a sign that it would open at 9am

The location was beautiful and had great views of the ocean. Had a nice boardwalk.

I stayed at one of the cabins which btw didn’t look like a cabin at all (it didn’t have wooden floors or walls, it had just regular painted drywalls). Coffee maker was crap. No microwave. One of the bedroom’s baseboards didn’t work properly (always on or always off, not temperature-controlled). No toilet paper holder which was weird. No phone in the cabin. The TV was small, old, and only had PiK TV (not even casting capability). Way too pricy for the available facilities. They were under-staffed on Jan 1st and didn’t clean the cabin although daily cleaning is advertised on their Booking.com page. I felt like the management don’t really care about customer experience and satisfaction.

Location was great but the breakfast was lacking. Two breakfasts with burnt bacon. Should never have been brought out. They replaced one. Service was average at best but should be better considering the resort.

Showers were either cold - no hot water at all or warm at best. Sound-proofing was non-existent so the kids playing tag upstairs at 6:30 in the morning on hard wood floors was annoying. The main lodge opens at 8 am. For early risers, it's nice to get up early and work on the computer without waking the family. The suggestion by staff was work on the patio (it was 3-4 degrees in the morning on the patio.

Restaurant on site. Responsive heating in the room. Big shower and great shower head.

Room getting tired and needs a refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Room on first floor of the lodge -- one of only 4 with no stairs can be noisy if people staying above.

We had an amazing romantic get away! The food at Tru was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The view from our room was breathtaking. We can’t wait to go back!

The straps that tie up the blinds were broken. Attention to those little details would take this place to the next level.

There is nothing to dislike

The place was beautiful with stunning views.

Upon our arrival, we noted ongoing construction near our cabin. Tile cutting was in progress at 5 PM on a Friday. I approached the reception, and they offered us an alternative unit adjacent to our original booking. However, access to our parking space was obstructed by the construction crew. The unit we reserved through the booking platform was advertised with a sofa, but we were informed upon arrival that this amenity is exclusive to superior cabins. The construction noise ceased approximately 30 minutes after I lodged my complaint. While the initial experience was challenging, the remainder of our stay was significantly more positive. The location offers exceptional views, and the restaurant provided an outstanding dining experience.
