Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The hotel is located in the heart of Trieste, a few minutes walk from the train station and from the main square and just round the corner from Opicina tramway final stop. Check-in was fast and easy, the room was comfortable and perfectly clean and I really appreciated finding it with the A/C already switched on as it was a really hot day.

Unsauberes Zimmer und Bad. Nicht zuortenbare Spritzer an der Wand. Armaturen und Halter im Bad verschmutzt. Kabel Fön stark verdreckt. Abgeranzte Einrichtung (alt ist okay, diese war verbraucht). Staubiger Vorhang und Leuchten. Zimmer Nummer 306. Was macht ein Aschenbecher im Zimmer?

...La camera che ho ricevuto stavolta è da ristrutturare sia nell' arredamento vintage che nel bagno (senza bidet e minuscolo) old style. Letto singolo non comodissimo. Stanza a mio parere non adeguata a un 3* di adesso

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Die Lage in der Nähe der Anleger und Altstadt war gut. Den Lärm der vorbeiführenden Hauptstraße hörte man im Hotelfoyer gar nicht. Unkompliziert war die Lagerung der Fahrräder im Hotelfoyer. Das Zimmer war sauber mit glattem Boden (kein Teppich!). Die Klimaanlage arbeitete einwandfrei. Auch das Bad war sauber, ohne jede Mängel. Die Auswahl von Süßspeisen am Frühstücksbuffet war außergewöhnlich.
Es gab für dieses Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nichts zu beanstanden.

Man hat kaum Gelegenheit das Gepäck am Hotel direkt auszuladen, der Parkplatz war 10 min zu Fuss entfernt.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Ho dovuto usufruire di un parcheggio a pagamento nelle vicinanze, colazione buona e buona posozione della struttura. Mi ha soddisfatto la camera, spaziosa e pulita. Praticamente si è trattato di una sosta durante il viaggio di famiglia per andre in Croazia nel quale ho colto l'occasione per visitare Trieste.
Nessun elemento a disposizione per descrivere aspetti negativi. Forse un poco la scomodità del parcheggio.

A szoba ablakai egyáltalán nem nyíltak. Kaptunk ugyan kulcsot hozzájuk, de az sem nyitotta őket. Erre a recepciós azt válaszolta, hogy ja igen, elnézést, el vannak romolva. A kilátás egy belső kis térre nézett, nem volt túl kies, de nyilván nem is fizettünk egy jobb kilátású szobáért.

Бронювали готель,бо в розділі доступність позначено наявність ліфта, тільки ніхто не написав , що до ліфта ведуть сходи і в ліфт ледве вміщається одна людина і валіза, то ж якщо у вас дитячий візок чи крісло колісне - це не для вас. Сніданок нижче середнього рівня: один вид сира і два- ковбаси, немає навіть хліба та яєць. Один вид малесенької сухої булочки. Зато великий вибір солодкого. Готель старий, каналізація в душі майже не працює, коли миєшся- стоїш у воді. Хоча інтерʼєр та меблі трохи оновлені. Немає місця перед готелем, щоб вивантажити речі. Потрібно ставити машину на парковку ( попередньо бронювати, платно) і квартал йти з речами до готелю.

In camera un forte odore di chiuso , impossibile aprire le finestre perche' affacciano sul cortile interno molto stretto e stipato di motori dei vari condizionatori ..per una notte puo' essere tollerabile, ma due notti non le avrei sopportate.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026I came in by Flixbus from Ljubljana so it was an easy 5 minute walk to the hotel. The room was good, I always love a bed light, A/C worked, bathroom was spacious for toiletries. The location made for an easy walk to my favourite part of the city to eat, along the Grande Canal. So many restaurants to choose from. Also walked down to the main square and out to the pier. I was able to take the ferry to and from Miramare Castle which is so beautiful, especially coming in by the boat. I didn't go inside but the grounds and gardens are so lovely and the tragic love story about this castle is so memorable. But...back to the hotel: the breakfast was included and had many choices of cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and pastries. Attractive lobby with sitting areas. It was a good stay. And I left by train so again, just a 5 minute walk to the station.
This hotel said they had a bar and the sign in the room even said wine sold by the glass. However when I returned to the hotel about 10pm I asked for a glass of wine and the grumpy man behind the counter said no. He told be to walk across the street to the bar, which I did. They kindly put the wine into a to go glass and I brought it to the hotel lobby. Such a lovely area to sit and sip on a wine, yet they don't want to utilise the bar that's right in the lobby. ???? I took photos but unfortunately they didn't load properly to post.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Location to main bus & train station only 5 minutes flat walk away, very helpful staff who speak and understand English and treat the business as if it was their own, excellent breakfast and quiet rooms, and cleanest bathrooms we have experienced this trip. We also appreciated having safe storage for our bikes as well.

Vieille chambre joliment modernisée et insonorisé (nécessaire car donne sur une rue chargée). Accès facile à un garage privé pour la voiture. Gentillesse du personnel à l'accueil. Es ist absolut nicht kinderfreundlich. Der Lift ist so klein das gerade einmal 3 schmale Leute Platz haben. Überall sind Treppen ein Hinderniss. Die Wände scheinen aus Pappmaschee zu sein. Man hört sogar wenn nebenan der Lichtschalter betätigt wird. In der Dusche kann man sich kaum drehen. Der Blick aus dem Fenster bietet eine fantastische Aussicht auf das marode Dach des Nachbargebäudes. Das komfortale Bett ließ mich ,zudem Krach um mich rum, nicht schlafen, wie alle anderen die mich begleitet haben. Was das Schloss an dem Kühlschrank soll, weiß ich nicht. Das beste Szenario bot sich mir dann beim Frühstück. Neben der übigen Auswahl von einem Kaffeeautomaten wurde, in einer organisatorischen Meisterleistung, das Geschirr so positioniert, das sich alle Leute angefressen im Weg standen. Auch die Auswahl aus günstigen Lidlprodukten und riesigen Aufbacksemmeln hat mir den Appetit versüßt. Einzig der Kaffee wäre vielleicht positiv hervorzuheben.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Goede locatie vlakbij bezienswaardigheden. Comfortabele bedden en ruime kamer. Een bed voor onze 12-jarige dochter in plaats van een slaapzetel. Handig dat er een parkeergarage is waar je een plaats kan reserveren.
Het ontbijt was voornamelijk gericht op zoet en mocht meer hartig aanbieden maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijke voorkeur. Alles werd wel constant aangevuld. Bij aankomst moet ik mijn identiteitskaart afgeven om de sleutel van de garage te krijgen, we hadden een parkeerplaats gereserveerd, ik heb deze pas teruggekregen bij de check-in wat 2u later was. Dit vond ik vreemd en begreep ik niet goed.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026De hygiëne was uitmuntend. Zelden zo'n schone kamer gehad in een hotel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. De ligging van het hotel is zeer gunstig ten opzichte van de bezienswaardigheden.
Het ontbijt was wel goed maar aanbod beperkt. Dit kan iets uitgebreider.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Perfect for a short stay. Close to the railway station, about 10 minutes walk from the Canal grande. Clean! Large enough room. Reading lamps for each bed. Large bathroom with hard soap (which I prefer to liquid), shampoo and initmate wash gel. Standard small hotel blowdryer. Soft towels. AC worked well. Excellent breakfast with both salty and sweet options. No vegetables (salads), but with fruits. In my opinion an excellent value for money in Trieste. Definitely recommend.
Our room faced the lightwell, so it was pretty dark inside, but irrelevant for a one night stay. Outside AC units from other rooms were very noisy if window was left opened. Dated furniture, but again irrelevant for a short stay. It actually gave a specific charm to the room (especially the interesting radiator screen). Shower cabin OK by European standards, but might be on the smaller side for Americans. Parking wasn't available in the hotel, but the Silos parking is just 10 minutes walk away.
