Ameisen im Zimmer Kein funktionierendes wlan

Great location near the beach and beautiful garden at the Lagoon.

We felt pressured to book overpriced tours and taxi trips through the owner.

Ich hatte einen super Aufenthalt. Man ist sehr schnell am ruhigen Strand und an den Restaurants. Dieser Ort ist noch sehr ruhig. Die Familie ist super hilfsbereit. Kleines, aber feines Häuschen direkt an der Lagune. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Es sind Ameisen im Zimmer aber das lässt sich leider nicht vermeiden. Zimmer etwas dunkel aber man ist eh nur zum Schlafen da

The property is in a serene location, surrounded by nature, with the garden backing onto the lagoon. The room features a large terrace that overlooks the garden, providing a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the symphony of birds. I was even lucky enough to spot the less common black-faced monkeys playing on the wall. The room itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s also conveniently located near some lovely little beach bars and restaurants. Pema (Payma) and her husband, who live at and manage the property are kind and welcoming. While her husband doesn’t speak English, Pema is always happy to answer any questions. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable – even coming by to light a mosquito coil on the terrace in the evenings for your benefit. They were also very thoughtful and allowed me to leave my backpack in their home for a few hours after I checked out. I highly recommend this peaceful retreat if you’re looking for tranquility, and I would gladly stay here again.

Nothing, I loved my time there. Just be aware that there is a fan and no AC....which is to be expected by the price of the room anyway.

Nice place. Very quiet area - you just hear the sounds of the sea. I liked my little terrace. My room was quite simple but i felt comfortable.

The only thing was the mattress smelled slightly moldy

The Point is Amazing near the sea and on the other side the Lagoon. Only in one day we saw many animals. The best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wifi was working well. You can book kayaking in the lagoon with them which we enjoyed a lot.

Very friendly Host that will any wish one has. The Location a bit down the Road is nice & quiet. Right b/w Beach and Lagoon plenty of animals will stroll around. There is a good Restaurant right next door that serves yummie breakfast and Dinner cooked by mum.

Location is only about a 50m walk from the beach. There's a view of the lagoon, but I couldn't see how to walk there easily. On the plus side, there's a couple of beach restaurants close by so I had a nice cold beer on the beach at sunset. The room is secure and is airconditioned; also has a mosquito net.

The wifi did not work, though the host was going to have it checked so maybe ok now. Steps up to the room were a bit steep! Breakfast was a little basic (banana crepes) and tea, but the tea was good.

Location. You can walk to the beach in a minute or less, there are countless cafes, bars, restaurants on the street nearby.

They turned off the water right in the middle of the day, for whatever reason. The guests can easily be in a shower after coming back from the beach?? We booked a room w/o ac, but the room got really hot during the night even with the windows open, and the mosquito netting over the bed had a few holes that let mosquitoes in, it was not a very comfortable night. With a/c this might not be a problem.

It's a big room with a balcony overlooking the garden, I enjoyed spending time there. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The beach is only 2 minutes away and there's plenty of restaurants nearby.

The communication with the host is difficult due to the language barrier so I didn't take the breakfast there, as there often wasn't anybody around to communicatie about the timing or preferences. Didn't use the wifi as I didn't get the chance to ask.

My stay in Tangalle was fantastic. The bungalow is very big, clean and comfortable. Having a fan working is fantastic because it’s hot in the coast. The toilet was also very good. And the location was great: 20m to the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, but not next to them so you didn’t hear music or noise at night. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. And Pema, the old lady running the homestay made my days… ❤️ Quality-price totally worth it!

It wasn’t negative for me, but the breakfast included in the price is very basic, but you can eat something when you wake up and you can go walking to have more if you wish (personal recomendation: Clam Beach Restaurant)

Super location.. Next to the beach but very calm.. Great value for money.. Super nice old lady makes breakfast with big smile.. Lovely place

Very welcoming always smiling auntie. Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Big balcony with comfortable chair. Comfortable bed. Hangers. Table. Cupboard. Very quiet area. Only 30 sec to the beach. Garden directly at the lagoon where you can see swimming dragons.

Wifi very slow / not working (on 2 of 3 days). Misunderstanding with extending stay, so had to checkout 1 day earlier / language barrier.

Located close to the beach, but still not too noisy. The hostess is a lovely lady who makes you a great breakfast. Her son arranged a scooter for us, which was convenient as no deposit had to be left in return. They have a lovely little old happy dog who does not bark, but just shakes her tail a lot. Great experience overall.

Right near the beautiful beach with restaurants and bars too. You can hire kayaks from them but you have to ask. Great breakfast too!

Wi-Fi was terrible until they moved the router to outside my door!

Lovely welcoming family, big clean rooms and a very good chef. Also you can hear the Waves and birds, so relaxing! We will for sure come again. 😁🇱🇰
