Venture Inn Hotel

The room reflected on the price, very basic room, but surprisingly comfortable beds. The motel was outdated and badly in need of a refurbishment, but saying that you get what you pay for.

The noise from the nextdoor bar 'Outlaws' could be near over the weekend going on to at least 3am

The hotel badly needs some repairs and replacements. Bedding was clean, but had cigarette burns. Floors were swept but not scrubbed. Soap scum and hard water build up in the shower.

We booked explaining we were traveling with 2 dogs and had mobility limitations. We had booked for 3 nights originally. We arrived and the lady first tried to book us in a smoking room. We explained that wasn't acceptable as neither of us smoked. Then she put us is a room at the furthest point of the building making it extraordinarily difficult to get to for someone with mobility limitations. We then had to come back to the desk and explain ok I guess we have to take the smoking room because I cant get to and from this one very well. We ended up leaving a day early because my allergies were flaring up due to the cigarette smell. No refund or anything was allowed but it wasnt worth it to us to stay longer. This meant we cut short a family visit. Also every night we had unfocused people knocking on our door asking for things.. hotel staff just said "just dont open the door". Did not feel like a safe area to take the dogs out at night. I feel that our experience would have been different if we didnt have to accept a smoking room due to mobility limitations.

Staff were not very friendly. There was bl00d smeared on the wall. I expected a motel with a private entrance but had to walk down a long corridor inside to get to my room quite far away from where I parked so I could not keep an eye on my vehicle. There were people doing dr*gs outside the motel who asked me to join them and I did not feel safe to walk around. I could live with a less than comfie bed but the comforter was no thicker than the sheet and I was cold. The AC was very loud but I didn’t feel safe opening a window. The bathroom was just gross. This room was disgusting. I was not expecting anything luxurious but it was obvious this room has never been properly cleaned between guests.

The rooms were cheap, a good place to stay if you're managing money.

The Wi-Fi didn't work. They kept saying that maintenance was looking into it. Wi-Fi doesn't work.

HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!!!!!!! MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Man at reception EXTREMELY rude. When I tried to talk to him to understand why they are changing the room that I booked, he started yelling at me!!!!!! Like REALLY yelling, even after I asked him to stop yelling at me. And then cancelled my booking all together, even if I tried to tell him that I just wanted to go to sleep and would accept any room that is available. Do NOT go there, MOST HORRIBLE experience

EVERYTHING was bad. Nothing good

The bed was comfy and there was good selection on the tv

They lied on their website about having laundry,gave us a smoking room when we aren't smokers, also lied about having a restaurant, no ATM, outrageous prices in vending machine, and the neighborhood is very sketchy (had people coming up to our doors and doing sketchy things)

The environment looked unkempt. There was a strong smell of cigarettes from the entrance to the reception and hallway. Could not stay. Left and asked for a refund.

The bathroom was not clean. The night staff were very understanding and gave me a new room. In the new room the sheets were not clean and the toilet paper holder was missing. Unfortunately this is the second time I have stayed here and the experience was the same.

Too bad, lots of cockroachs in the room, we left the place on the first morning. The only good thing, the front desck personnel were freindly and supportive.

I booked 3 rooms with Expedia got to the motel after a long day of work the staff says he can see my reservation but he doesn’t have any rooms so I told him to figure something out where the mistake happened and he just told me to leave find some other place to stay.

We had the worst stay ever in canada.It was too noisy outside and people were punching the hotel entrance door.We slept around 2 am in the morning. The morning breakfast was also terrible.

The rooms were filthy! I made the mistake of taking my shoes off. By evening when I removed my socks, they were so filthy I realized I was cleaning the floor with them. Consequently,the socks did not go in the laundry--I threw them away..

Every sheet and blanket in my room had blood in it there was vomit on the stairs for the whole time I was there. no cleaning standards at all

Room was very dirty. Many people hanging around in the parking lot and in the building. Doors slamming and loud arguments past 2am. I did not feel safe.

The room was dirty. Floor felt unswept, there was gum stuck to a picture, and there was black mold on the walls of the bathroom. The bed we nice. The staff was friendly. Just a dirty place.

I like the fact that the office was open 24 hours.

It was a very simple stay with no amenities.

It is one step away from being condemned and torn down.

It took a long time for the man at the front desk to acknowledge I was there and than took some time to find my reservation. The tv in my room didn’t work and when I informed the front desk he was very unconcerned and said it would be replaced when a new tv arrived, which didn’t happen when I was there. I find it unusual that this facility is listed in booking.com

This property is in dire need of renovations/upgrades. It is getting pretty dilapidated, especially the rooms.

We were parking upon arrival and a room door opened, smoke billowed out, a drug deal took place, the buyers left, and one person pounded on door to be let in. The entire place reeked of smoke (regardless of our no smoking room). Entire place was shabby. We slept and got out. We prayed no crawling viditors joined us.

Walls in the room had chunks missing. Holes in doors. Pillows were not clean. No face cloths. Tub ledge was dirty and had long black hair. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. And the last straw was a cockroach.

Holes in the walls, holes in the flooring, bugs in the bathroom, sink rusted out, people fighting and yelling in the hallways and outside the motel at all hours of the night.

From the moment I arrived, I was disappointed. From check in when they put through a 300. charge on my credit card, which I had to go to front desk in the morning to get a credit that showed up 3 days later. Everything in the room wouldn't of added up to 300. including the 32" tv with a broken remote. I had a room with an exterior door. There was a 1" inch gap under the outside door from missing weatherstripping. The bedspread and sheets both had burn holes in them. The area is sketchy at best. I wouldn't park my car outside my room, but luckily there was a parking spot in front of office, for the night. I had to keep reminding myself that it was for only one night.

its a nightmare booking this hotel. I communicated them about my arrival time. when we reached there the lady at front dest started threatening us that instead of $100 you have to pay $400 otherwise i will not give u room and you will be miserable at this time. my child 4 years was also with me. when i ask to meet me with property manager she started bullying me at base of race. she said i don’t understand english so dont speak english with me just urdu. so pathetic

Absolute hellhole. Like being in New Delhi

Scary people. Drugs and paraphernalia just in the hall. Bloody sheets. I was horrified. The man at the desk was amazing at check in. I rented it for my x so my daughter could see him cause thought price was good. Didn’t expect much. But wow the drugs and rigs right in the hallway. My daughter was not allowed to go back.

Would love to see a more thorough cleaning of the rooms, there were broken glasses in the room, and side table visibly not dusted

To be honest this is the worst place I have ever stayed. This place doesn't deserve to be named a hotel and doesn't deserve to be in the list of hotels under Expedia. I wonder how saskatoon city overlooked it. I am so sorry.

Fine for the price. But could here other guests coming & going in the rooms. And chatting in the car park outside. A bit run down.

The sheets on one bed was stained and the desk clerk came and changed it. She also brought a new extra towel and one was very thread bare. The walls were very dirty where you turned on light in bathroom and bed. The toilet was leaking as it was wet on floor behind. The easy chair had burn holes and had greasy stains. The shower curtain was stained and tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned. When I checked in I was in informed that there was a $300.00 damaged deposit. But clerk waived that hat for usfor me

It was filthy, the smoke smell was strong ( the bottom level is smoking) but carries through , left hotel as conditions were terrible , front desk was apologetic and refunded without hesitation
