The room was tiny, it had not even a closet. It was advertised as "deluxe". That was adding insult to injury. It certainly doesn't qualify for three stars. This borders on fraud. The attendant could provide a better room the second night. That was a "superior " room. As I did not lose my brain, "deluxe" should be above "superior ", not far below. This room only qualifies for a store room. Bed, mattress and sheets were of lowest quality .

Sehr gute Lage. Man kann Geschäfte, Gaststätten alles fußläufig erreichen. Zimmer war geräumig. Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Whitehorse. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, die Betten sehr bequem. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es ruhig. Frhstück gibt es leider nicht, aber es sind genug Restaurants in der nahmen Umgebung!

The hotel was very accommodating as we were traveling with mountain bikes and had a locked and secure location for them.

Great location downtown within easy walking distance of Yukon River. Next to the hotel is a Greek/Italian restaurant with excellent food and great atmosphere. The staff was friendly.

I think the bedding was synthetic materials, which is hotter than natural fiber. Fortunately we were able to cool the room enough to compensate. People don’t sleep as well when they’re too warm.

Great location, walkable to lots of interesting sites, coffee shops, restaurants, and to the river footpath. Hotel has an elevator. Excellent shower in bathroom. Restaurant next door had good food. Parking outside the front of the hotel was 2 hour until 5pm so effectively free from 3pm overnight until 11am the next day

Bathroom sink drain was broken. A/C in room was a stand-alone unit, venting through the windows. This meant it was hard to draw the curtains completely. Lighting in room was minimal and there were not enough power outlets by the bed.

1. Towels: First stay for 3 nights, the towels were of poor quality, synthetic. However for 2nd stay for 4 nights, the towels were excellent, quality cotton material. 2. WiFi / TV: worried it was not secure. TV and WiFi were difficult to get connected to. On first night there were not working, no electrics. It got sorted by Staff at reception. 2. Window latch was broken and unable to open window at check-in. Staff allocated different room promptly. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Elite. All staff were friendly and helpful and they resolved small glitches very quickly, which I appreciate. These glitches happen everywhere but don’t always get sorted like they did at Elite. As a woman, I felt safe there too. I am happy to return there again and have already recommended it to others. A huge thank you to everyone. All Staff and Customer Service are awesome.

Very comfy beds. Parking and elevator access for heavy luggage was very welcome. Fridge is a decent size. The room is very well proportioned. Generally the room was clean except for points below. Overall the value this hotel offers is excellent.

Stale smell when entering the room. It cleared after the first night though. Plug hole for bath looks awful - lots of scale buildup. No carpet underlay. Room does get hot when sunny in summertime. There is an air conditioner but it’s very noisy when in operation. Toiletries are very basic and not upto any standard. We had to pick up handwash and shower gel from supermarket to meet our normal standards.

This hotel is great in the sense that there are no bells and whistles and they seem to just focus on providing a salid, basic-level hotel experience. Service is friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, practical, and sufficiently spacious. They even provide little snack bars along with the usual coffee and tea corner in your room, which is a nice touch. The TV had hockey, which was nice. They even go as far as providing a packaged, disposable shaving razor in the bathroom if you forgot yours. The location is nice, as it is close to the river by walking and many shops and restaurants downtown.

They could consider swapping to blackout curtains in the rooms, expecially given the late sunlight hours of Yukon summers. The curtains were okay, but not totally blackout.

Wifi was really bad, I couldn’t make a video call work, despite asking if it would be ok to do so. The first room we were put in smelt terribly of smoke, but once we asked to move the room was great.

It's expensive for the kind of hotel. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the people on the 3rd floor are loud. We can hear their footsteps and we can also hear TV from surrounding rooms.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel um den Urlaub zu beginnen oder zu beenden. Sehr Nahe am Stadtzentrum, Restaurants, Fluss für einen schönen Spaziergang. Großes geräumiges Zimmer, gut ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, TV etc. Kommen gerne wieder!

Convenient downtown location.

The bed is too soft and wobbly, and even though this is listed as a premium room and we registered and paid for 2 persons there is only 1 chair in the room, leaving the 2nd person to sit on a wobbly bed. Everything is in working order, but the decor is gloomy and unattractive, the first impression when walking in the room does not make one smile.

The location was the best, close to downtown and very quiet! Within walking distance to most everywhere!

The rooms were very bare ,all the bedding was nylon so very slippery and hot! Could have used a good up date considering no stay is under $100/night anymore. No plug in the bathroom sink ,very thin toilet paper lol which meant my fingers kept going thru the toilet paper😳

The hotel was clean. The rooms were tidy. I felt the bed was small for the space. A king would have fit better in it. The TV was small and on a stand that was low. The wall behind is completely open and able to hold a larger TV up on a wall mount. The room was nice with plenty of space for placing luggage out of the way.

I think they could have put a bit more decoration in the room. It was a bit sparse. Something on the walls to brighten it besides white paint. A few of the outlets didn’t work, and there weren’t enough near the bed for plugging in phones and things.

The room was big.

Parking on the street was better than parking in the back lot. Neither was especially ideal. There was a used towel hanging in the back of the bathroom door. The chain lock was broken - put a chair in front of the door to feel more secure. The gentleman working the night shift was very good. And helpful. Dealing with the manager about the bill was difficult. I had to rescue a night later than my original plan due to unforseen circumstances and the rate almost doubled

Das Hotel ist so optimal gelegen, dass Restaurants und die Main Street sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und sehr groß, das Personal überaus hilfsbereit, WLAN ist schnell und perfekt. Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein sehr empfehlenswertes italienischen/griechisches Restaurant mit einer hervorragenden Karte. Ansonsten: Museen und Flughafen liegen so nah, dass ein Taxi oder Bus eine gute Option ist.

We had a decent stay. There wasn't anything to dislike. The hotel is located in the downtown area, a convenient walk to anything you might need. We walked to get dinner our first night there. Everything about the room was good. Kind of a fun note that they do still use keys for the doors.

Nad námi skoro celou noc probíhala nějaká rekonstrukce, velký hluk, člověk se vůbec nevyspal, pořád někdo chodil sem a tam. Vše bylo slyšet. Okno do ulice nešlo zcela zavřít.

The room was hot. We were there on a surprisingly warm weekend in April.

The location and parking were good. The staff were all friendly.

The smell in the room, the hard mattress, coffee pot didn’t work, someone smoking pot in the hotel room above us. The smell was the worst part. We had to have our windows open all the time and it was very cold. We also noticed everyone had their windows open.

The front desk agent who worked on the morning of March 27, 2026 was VERY FRIENDLY. He honestly answered all my questions about living up in the Yukon and the struggles/issues/benefits he has been experienced he’s had.

Very convenient location with parking for 1-ton pickup, with security cameras. Hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Great restaurant right next door.
