県内在住で急遽、主人の時間が取れる事ができたので連休中日でしたが運良く一部屋、空きがあり当日予約で宿泊 部屋にはシャワーのみだったので 次は風呂付きの部屋に宿泊してみたい 部屋に缶のお茶、水、コーヒーパックなどありましたが自販機がなく売店でも売ってない 近くにコンビニ、スーパーがあるが、この日は寒すぎて出られなかった 温泉の効能、成分表示がわかる場所になかったので不明ですがツルツルにはならなかったです 食事は2食、美味しく頂きました。高級食材は、ほとんど無く鯛めしならぬムロアジ..（美味しかったけど）土鍋で美味しいけど、かなりこびりついて底は取れなかった 鹿児島なのに食べ慣れない赤味噌で若干の違和感を感じました 配膳スタッフの袖口が広く、作法の一部でしょうが都度袖口を押さえるので、効率悪そうでした。こちらの手拭きや湯呑みに触れそうになり逆に不衛生に感じました また、とても風が強く寒い日でしたがスタッフの制服？作務衣のみで薄着のまま、駐車場の出迎えをしてくださったのですが車が入って駐車が終わる前から駆けつけ、こちらの方が焦ってしましました お気遣いはありがたかったのですが車内の整理など済ませて行きたかったです 客室から大浴場など外気に触れる造りだからこそ、スタッフの方々も寒いでしょうし、季節に応じて工夫されてはどうかなと思います 雪がチラつく朝に照明カバーを水で洗って下さっていたり中庭の落ち葉の清掃など、環境整備が行き届いていると思います 室内照明のスイッチが分かりづらかった

とても素敵なお宿です。お料理が丁寧に作られていて、美味しく、スタッフの方の対応も良かったです。 お湯がまた最高でした。また利用したいです。

館内は一部工事中でしたが、客室も、館内の温泉もとてもよかったです。特に温泉は露天風呂も広々としており、入るとツルツルになりました。 2食付きにしましたが、お料理も美味しく、特に朝食の充実度はすごくて、これまでで一番だったかも！

お食事がもっと鹿児島特産の食材が出るかと思っていましが、普通だったのが残念でした。

가고시마 여행 마지막날 공항 가기 전에 묶었던 호텔입니다. 체크인을 7시 넘어서 하는 바람에 이 호텔의 진가를 많이 이용하진 못한게 많이 아쉽습니다. 1일 2식을 주문해서 가이세키 석식, 조식을 즐겼습니다. 일본에서는 온천을 갈 때 복장으로 석식, 조식을 먹는 게 참 편하고 좋습니다. 가이세키 먹고나서 조금 아쉬워서 밖에 나가서 구이 집에서 맥주도 즐겼습니다.

I like the Japanese tradition design and room is spacious and comfortable. The outdoor onsen in our room is very nice and we enjoyed a starry night too

チェックインの時も感じたのですが、一時が万事でエアコンの鼠色の毛布のようなフィルターに始まって、ご飯はこだわりの炊き方と言う割には土鍋や茶碗が欠けてたり、とにかくこの値段との釣り合いが取れないです。イカめんたいが朝食で出ましたが、それすら着色料いっぱいのピンク色で旨みもないし、織部の器の蒸し物を食べようとすれば器は所々欠けてて折角の景色が台無しでした。非常に残念です。

On 28th September 2024, I stayed in the Executive Villa (KanKanan) of The YAKAKUTEI Hot Spring Hotel. The transfer services were efficient, and I was greeted by Mr. Mori, the hotel owner, upon arrival. The facilities and services of this hot spring hotel evoke traditional Japanese Omotenashi services—the spacious room with two private natural hot spring baths (Onsen) in my room, plus the public large hot spring bath. The natural hot spring water eliminates fatigue, relaxes your body, and refreshes your mind. The Kaiseki dinner was served privately in your room, and the chief chef prepared a delicious tasting menu. My wife and I enjoyed the lovely evening in this Yakakutei. The Japanese Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are presented in a very exquisite way. Each dish decoration is like a piece of art, delicious and pleasing. As a Certified Travel Manager in Canada, I highly recommend that travelers stay in this excellent Hot Spring hotel, Yakakutei, in Kirishima, a 15-minute drive from Kagoshima airport. The property is really nice! It’s renovated and the details are amazing! We personally loved our room and its design! The dinner was really great and the service was amazing! I love that they have onsen but also sauna, such a nice plus! I will for sure go back whenever I have the chance!

I was nervous since I’ve never spent this much on an overnight stay before but everything was perfect. Reception was great and welcoming. The room wa a beautiful and spacious. The food was amazing!! And they brought it to the room (the sever we had was so nice and friendly). Our room had a outdoor bath and it really hit the spot. 10/10 experience I would stay here again and recommend to my friends.

送迎サービスは、柔軟に対応していただいて、助かりました。マイクロバスではなく、いつもセダンでの送迎で、とても快適でした。 お風呂がとても風情があって良かったです。建物自体は築年を感じますが、メンテナンスが行き届いていて、大切に使われていて好感を感じました。お料理も工夫されていて美味しかったです。 また訪れたいと思いました。

食事が美味しかったです。建物自体は古いが、こまめに掃除されていてとても清潔でした。お部屋の風呂が住宅の風呂のような感じでちょっと残念でしたが、大浴場しか使用しなかったので気にはなりませんでした。スタッフの方もみんなフレンドリーで親切でした。

旅館會預先詢問客人男女比例，到訪方法，食物敏感等問題，非常貼心。房間不算大，大眾溫泉不錯。可付費租用私人風呂一小時。

食事がよかったです。お部屋とお風呂は少し古い気がしました。お風呂のお湯はよかったです。スタッフの方のおもてなしは申し分なく素晴らしかったです。

息子の結納の記念旅行で利用しました。 チェックインからアウトまでスタッフの対応はとても親切で良かったです。館内のインテリアは心休まる日本庭園とモダンなデザインを施された内装で日常を忘れさせてくれて、食事は2食ともどの料理も工夫されていてこだわりを感じました。黒豚のしゃぶしゃぶはお肉の甘味とさっぱり感がとても美味しく量も食べきれないほどありました。 温泉は翌日の肌感の違いが分かるほどとてもいいお湯でした。 結納記念という事で撮影してくれた写真をフレームに入れてプレゼントしてくれて優しお心遣いを感じました。又泊まりたいと思えるお宿です。

The Japanese-style room is very luxurious and comfortable, and you can enjoy a delicious dinner in the room. The hotel staff will introduce each dish very kindly while serving, which is a good experience. There is also an exclusive open-air bath in the room, which can relieve the fatigue during the trip at any time. This is a very good hotel, very close to the airport and there is a shuttle service, highly recommended for everyone. 充滿了日式風格的房間非常豪華舒適，還能在房間內享用美味晚餐，旅館服務員在上菜的同時會很親切的介紹每道菜，是個很好的體驗。 房間內也有專屬的露天浴池，能夠隨時的泡湯充分解除了旅途中的疲勞。 這是一間很不錯的旅館，距離機場也很近並且有接送服務，非常推薦給大家。 良いホテル　おすすめです！

This onsen hotel is very cozy, I can fully enjoy Japanese gardening, and the food is very local, yummy and exquisite Japanese cuisine. The size of onsen area is not so big, but still have indoor and outdoor pools, I was really relaxed after the onsen bath. One more minor but I was delighted that Yakakutei has a small stove to warm green tea in each room, it is very impressive scent to relax myself! Highly recommend and would come back!

Excellent in service and environment.

I and my family enjoyed the stay a lot. Food was great, loved onsen, garden was beautiful, and all the staff were so kind. It would have been nice if we could try outdoor onsen, but weather’s still cold. Definitely will try if we visit during another season.

Transfer service to and from airport. Tranquility of the onsen resort. Great Japanese traditional kaiseki dinner. A remarkable facility : a Dyson hair dryer, just love it. A supermarket just opposite to the onsen resort.

2泊しました。2日目は生憎の雨。どうしようかと、朝食後、部屋でゆっくりしていたら、フロントから「チェックアウトの時間が過ぎてます」という電話が来て絶句。15部屋しか無いのに、どの部屋が帰るのか、連泊なのかが把握出来ていない。そして、11時頃「13時過ぎには戻ります」と言って外出、14時過ぎに戻ったら「部屋の清掃中で、あと15分程掛かります」とのこと。16時チェックインなので他の部屋同様にマイペースでお仕事しているようですが、全く気配りが感じられ無い。さらに、浴衣代りの作務衣様の部屋着。チェックイン時に、Lサイズが用意されていたのを、Mに交換。清掃時に新しいものに交換されていたが、サイズはLが。連泊であること、使用済みのサイズがMであることは、清掃したスタッフは全く気付かないらしい。また、最終日の朝食時は、おしぼりが出て来ず。おしぼりを置くトレーが予め用意されているので、あり、無しは一目で分かるはずだが、料理を運ぶのに、何度もテーブルに来ても気付かない。以上、スタッフのサービスは高額な料金に全く見合わない。そして、食事、美味しかったのではあるが、2日目のメインがイサキ1匹丸ごとの塩焼き。時期的に、販売しているおせち料理の作成と重なり忙しいのだろうが、1日目と比べ手抜き感は否めない。高い料金出すのは非日常を味わいたいから。しっかり手を掛けたものを提供して欲しかった。

旦那と弾丸旅行で利用しました。 妊娠中でこちらから何も希望を出していないのに、 刺身を他の料理に変更してくれたり、ノンカフェインの飲み物を用意してくれたりなどとても心暖かい対応してくれました❣️ありがとうございます‼︎ 今回は普通の部屋を利用して、確かに他の方のコメントであったようにロビーや食事場と内装のキャップは感じましたが、この点は滞在前に受け入れた上で予約しましたので全然気になりませんでした。 食事がとても美味しくて温泉も凄く気持ちよかったし、子供が産まれてからまた家族で泊まりに行きたいと思います。 部屋内装のリニューアルを楽しみにしてます〜

this is a traditional hotel. there have nice service, beautiful environment, comfortable hot spring. also provide free airport shuttle buses. dinner and breakfast have many type dishes, almost are delicious.

It is a very good getaway hotel with in-room hot springs. The Kagoshima airport is nearby and the hotel provides free parking service. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were nice and very helpful, but speaking English might be a problem. The food was amazing!

Yakakutei is of high quality in terms of food, cleanness, service and in particular the onsen!! There are not many rooms so we are well served by their staff. They arranged pick up from JR or airport which saved us a lot of time and money to take transport. The garden styled onsen is a highlight. Great to relax and stay at!

The ryokan provide good breakfast and dinner, serving portion is big. Staff are polite and helpful, help us bring our luggage to room and to our rental upon checkout. Overall onsen experience is good! Ryokan interior is very cosy and nicely decorated.

Very close Kagoshima airport. We’re greeted at the entrance and they parked our car and moved our luggages to our rooms while we were enjoying the welcome drinks and snacks. Service was exceptional. The place is very relaxing as it is not very big and grounds are well appointed. The onsen is very nice. We had a wonderful stay.

本人去了日本很多次但這是第一次入住溫泉酒店，竟然遇上這麼貼心的服務令我很難忘。 酒店上下的員工從前台、餐廳裏侍應及司機都是殷勤到位的人，很多細節上體會得到，例如司機送我們到車站時他會把行李搬到上梯級後才離開；吃飯時會不斷給我們加茶及介紹每道菜式的吃法！ 入住當天是週六，因為趕着去霧島神宮，沒有留意原來回程時錯過了尾班巴士，馬上電郵通知酒店我們要遲到45分鐘才能回到火車站，司機很有禮貌真的在車站裏等了我們45分鐘，好讓我和母親帶着疲倦的身體安全回到酒店！ 回覆電郵的工作人員回覆得很快，英文溝通得好好，還建議我們在那個車站下車，對於不能用日語溝通及對火車路線不熟悉的人帶來很大的方便！

Exceptional service, even for Japan. And the food was both great and served in-room, which we appreciated after a long day. Then the masseurs also came to our room. A great place with great staff, highly recommend for anyone passing through Kagoshima or flying in or out of the Kagoshima Airport, which is very close and easily reachable in 15mins from the ryokan.

Good location and service. The hot spring a little bit small especially the hottest pool. Dinner and breakfast are ok. Our room in 3 rd, but there is only one elevator is from G/F to 2/F, need to walk all the time. The staffs are so friendly, they all helped us to take luggage during check in n out.

兎に角朝も晩もお食事がとても美味しかったです。 但し部屋が簡素過ぎて、この料金を払ってこの部屋？と思いました。露天風呂は外のお湯が温かったです。枯葉の掃除もされて居ませんでした。

食物比上一次好，溫泉不俗。夏天本來是有點熱，可幸的是工作人員讓我們在酒店門外燒煙花，真是一個難忘的經驗。

Very convenient location near the airport with an easy access to Kagoshima by train (free pick-up service from/to the station or airport). Great Onsen. Very good dinner but unfortunately not much of information in english...

The most enjoyable stay at hot spring hotel. It is very clean, staff is friendly even they cannot speak english fluently but still able to communicate with. Very tasty traditional food, the most enjoyable part of my stay. Hot spring facility is nice and well equipped. If you have time, stay longer.

호텔의 직원들은 친절하고 소통하기 힘듬 상황에서도 최선을 다해 도와주려 노력했고 당일 공항버스 픽업서비스 예약이 안되는대도 가능하게 도와주었고 깔끔 처리해주었다 다시한번 감사하단 말 전하고싶다~^^

일본의 전형적인 친절함이 좋았어요.. 하지만 가이세끼는 가성비 중간입니다.

食物製作認真，水準甚高，款式精美，味道可口。温泉設施保養不錯。職員服務態度好，有水準又貼心。會再次選擇住在這裏。

송영차량이 있어 공항에서 픽업/드랍 서비스가 가능합니다. 로비에 오면 정원이 예쁜데 교토느낌이 나요! 밖에 나가서 보면서 걸을 수 있도록 되어 있어서 좋았습니다. 그리고 온천 이용은 오후 12시까지 가능해서 늦게까지 온천을 즐길 수 있다는 점이 마음에 들었어요. 대욕장 또한 정원처럼 잘 꾸며져 있어서 정말 예뻤구요. 작지않은 크기에 사우나실도 잘 되어있어 이용하기 좋았습니다. 일회용품도 다 구비되어있어 욕실용품을 챙겨가지 않아도 됩니다. 그리고 안마의자도 작아서 저에게 딱 맞더라구요 ㅋㅋ 방은 2층으로 예약했는데 뷰가 생각보다 괜찮아서 좋았어요! 방도 꽤 많이 넓어서 편안히 썼습니다. 화장실도 굉장히 깔끔하고 좋아서 가격에 비해 많은 걸 누린 느낌이였어요. 식사는 조석식 둘다 신청했는데 석식에 나오는 음식들은 다 하나같이 맛있었고 입맛에 맞았습니다. 조식은 한상에 차려지는데 깔끔하고 정갈하게 차려져서 좋았습니다. 맛은 괜찮은 정도였습니다. 먹으면서 아침 정원을 바라볼 수 있어서 좋았습니다. they service pick-up and drop service from Kagoshima airport. there is beautiful garden in lobby, we can walk though watching the garden. Also you can watch the garden having breakfast. the room was cleaned and pretty big compare with other ryokan.I think.

Great hospitality. Absolutely enjoyed the food served here. The onsen is gorgeous. Given the environment, high quality food and service, it’s a bargain for the price you pay at this ryokan. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

晚飯口味奇怪， 不太好吃， 房間小和有點舊， 而且第一間滿佈蚊子，酒店換了另一間房給我們。早餐食物可以

Things are great: -Public area design is bright and modern still with traditional Japanese elements -Bamboo and flowing water in the public area esp. while raining further embody the nature and tranquility -Onsen with sauna is pretty large and relaxing -Breakfast and dinner are extraordinary -Cordial and friendly staff -Free chauffeur between ryokan and JR Hayato station/Kagoshima airport Things to improve: -Any outside drinks including soft drink (assuming still/drinking water is included) are prohibited according to a printed English only accommodation contract (as what it’s called) placed on the table in the room. JPY3,000 per bottle will be charged if any non-ryokan drink bottle is found in the room. This clause was not told/reminded before making reservations or upon check-in at the ryokan. Since the clause is in English only, not sure whether it’s just for foreigners’ alert because usually any rules in hotel/ryokan in Japan should be bilingual (Japanese and English) or at least in Japanese for each customer’s attention. -The two 500ml bottle waters in the room are for separate charge. -Suggestion: if this rule can be told publicly and further specified through listing each outside drink and food that are prohibited before reservation, it will eliminate customers’ worry of bringing any outside drinking water or even Kirishima gifts like cookies to the ryokan.

We spent a night on 24/4/19. A tranquil nice spot. A private onsen tub was included in our garden. We used the public onsen. The outdoor onsen pool was good. Cuisine was good. Staff could speak simple English and one of the girls was Chinese. So she spoke Mandarin when introducing our room. Overall, we were v satisfied.

員工服務態度非常好，有禮，安排細心。主動安排往返交通。房間整潔、舒適。酒店各設施包括溫泉及用膳地方環境不錯，膳食一流，侍應服務細心。下次會再到訪。

霧島温泉郷の手前に位置する宿でした。料理と温泉は、良かったと思います。客室は、案内されて、あれって感じでした。そこまでの、フロントから庭等が素晴らしかっただけに、ギャップが・・・ 恐らく、古い旅館をリニューアルしたのでしょう。フロントでの夕食の飲み物の注文が、しつこい。 飲み物くらいその時に決めさせてって感じです。 まぁ、2食付きの温泉旅館ということで、普通の上っていうくらいです。

The dinner was luxurious and of high quality. Very personalised service with detailed explanation of each dish as well as the property and welcome tea when we first arrived. Property is abit old and faded to me but for some that may be an attraction itself due to the rustic look. It is located in a residence area but once in the ryokan you feel like you are shut off from the rest of the whole. Beautiful central Japanese garden with a perfect view for breakfast. Brought my parents there and they loved it so much, it is the perfect place to rest and relax and just unwind always from the hustle and bustle of life.

Good location with convenient stores and supermarket around. Hotel environment is nice and quiet though the scale is not big. We all enjoy the Onsan very much. Staff service is attentive and meticulous.

I stay in Yakakutei with family during Lunar New Year. It's such a beautiful place. Before we stop our car, there are staffs at the door to welcome us. It was a raining day, so it's really helpful! We enjoyed matcha and dessert in the lobby, and then guided to our room. Dinner is inside the room, although I personally prefer to eat in the restaurant, they make the whole dinner very cheerful and relaxing. Dinner was tradition with some creative ideas, yummy! So did breakfast. We were staying in the room with private onsan, and it's definitely highlight to enjoy hot bath in the early morning! Will come back again!

住宅地のど真ん中にたどり着いた時には、選択ミスかと心配したが、内庭を中心とした内部は、住宅地と思えぬ作りで、露天風呂も含め、非日常感がある。食事も一品一品出来立てを運んでくれ、非常に美味しかった。唯一、離れでない本館愛顧棟にある普通クラスの部屋は、窓を開けると住宅が目についてしまい、せっかくの非日常感が帳消しになってしまって、それからは障子を閉めっぱなしにしておいた。

服務非常好 食物美味！

Everything is just on point! The service is great, the room is clean, it's not crowded and is just so relaxing! The only cons I'd say is there are not too many other things to do nearby but hey, you are here to relax right? I'd give it a score of 100!

酒店環境一流, 服務一流, staff 會係門口歡迎你, checkin 會有茶水糕點. 房間好美, 非常整潔, 環境非常靜和美, 食物一流, 大人份量頗多. 早餐都是一流的. 私人風呂完全係享受, 貴到值得. 服務員會一點英文, 會普通話, 不過我們不會普通話, 只能用英文加身體語言. 如果下次再來一定會再入住.

房內殘舊，食物味道很一般，不合這價錢！

Very peaceful place in a very peaceful city. The onsen was also clean and well maintained. Room was good and large enough for two. Highly recommended for people who're interested in a ryokan. The only thing which I had expected more could be the food. Food wasn't bad at all, just a bit less excellent than the food that I took in the local restaurants -- had to compare since most food're the same kind.

Room is a bit small, food n services are good. Hot spring pool not big but not many people as not peak season when we stay in Dec 19

Friendly speaking, too much expectation to this hotel. Need to drive 5-10mins to have dinner outside, not much choice to choose Onsen is good but is public Breakfast is traditional Japanese style But if it is more convenient for buying and dining is better

All were very nice, just a little bit disappointed by the size and view of the outdoor hot spring, understood that little view was for privacy though.

It was a smooth, worries free process of check-in and checkout.The hot springs were great. The traditional Japanese dinner banquet was terrific!

We stayed in Munian Villa with private indoor and outdoor big hot spring, the water was very nice. The room was spacious and the food & service were fine. But the outdoor pool was not clean, and the location was in the centre, you can imagine the noise of traffic. I recommend to have day onsen (no staying) instead, as it was slightly over-priced.

The staff welcomed us with tea and sweet while waiting to check in. The Ryokan assigned a staff to direct us to our rooms and introduced us the Ryokan facilities.Rooms are clean and tidy. Indoor and outdoor onsens are good.Dinner and breakfast is very good.

Yakakutei is nestled in Kirishima town. We were on a driving tour, having left Fukuoka in the morning. Arriving at Yakakutei at about 4pm, we were pleasantly surprised to see the hotel staff waiting at the driveway despite a drizzle. Umbrella in hand, he helped us unload our luggage and parked our car for us. Check in was the way it should be done, with us seated comfortably at a living room area in front of a beautiful Japanese garden. The rain added that magical touch. Still don't understand why 5-star hotels check in experiences are still standing up at a counter more than 10 minutes. But Yakakutei has the right touch. The hotel complex is architecturally interesting with a round glass house as a dining area, offering a circumscribe view of the Japanese garden. Needless to say, the onsen was nice too. Dinner was delivered dish by dish, with a beautiful origami crane decorated menu. My! Attention to details is what I look out for. Service was excellent from arrival to departure.

Very good service! Great to have free pick up service from Airport. The breakfast was amazing!

We were greeted with freshly made japanese green tea after a long travel. Lovely garden and outdoor onsen. We stayed around early March and it was relatively quiet. The manager also makes a special arrangement of a packed breakfast as we have to leave for an early ferry. Very helpful staff.

My parents are shy and find it weird to go public onsen bath naked, so I picked Villa Munian which has private onsen where they can enjoy onsen alone. The private onsen is very nice and we doesn't feel cold walking to/from the onsen to indoor despite 4degrees weather. Buddhist stupa in the public garden is soothing, you can sit in front of it to enjoy fresh air and the scenery. Service is very good.

Not as good as per review say..! Nothing special..! Try staying in both room and villa. Both are disappointed. Food are not as good as someone said..! For sure will not go back..!

My daughter and I were treating ourselves to a traditional Japanese hotel with onsen (hot springs). This place was quite beautiful. The onsen had a large outdoor pools area as well as a nice sized indoor hot pool. The landscape in the courtyards was beautifully maintained and lush. The futons were really comfortable and the large, soft duvets made us not want to get out of bed! We were served a traditional Japanese breakfast that must have had 25 small special dishes. Really wonderful.

It was a wonderful experience! We loved every moment of it.
