L' accueil des propriétaires était déplorable, de nombreuses remarques désobligeantes et déplacées. Nous avons même été traités d'étrangers, alors que les propriétaires sont français comme nous et que tous les autres hôtes balinais qui nous ont accueillis ont été parfaits.Nous avons du traverser toute la propriété avec nos 5 bagages alors qu'un 2eme accès existait tout près de la chambre... La chambre était bruyante et, cerise sur le gâteau, de nombreuses fourmis dans le lit et des oeufs sous l'oreiller. Le wc n' était pas fixé. Nous n'avons pas pu rester plus qu une nuit.

Congratulations to Paul and Carol on hosting myself for a second visit to their establishment. That I am a return patron speaks for itself! The central location between Ulawatu and Nusa Dua, is an absolute drawcard, along with the price, a five star rating for the more conservative budget. Great staff, helpful and friendly. The property is well maintained and the pool makes for a relaxing cool down.

L'accueil des propriétaires français ce qui est tres aidant pour un 1er voyage en Indonésie. Également la proximité avec l'aéroport est un vrai plus. Paul et Caroline, forts d'une expérience de 16 ans, sont de tres bon conseil. Ils assurent le transfert de l'aéroport à leur Villa pour un prix raisonnable. Il louent même des scooters. La chambre était tres confortable et leur jardin avec piscine magnifiques. Nous recommandons ce lieu sans soucis. Tres bon rapport qualite/ prix et gentillesse en supplément! Petit déjeuner au top!

Un super accueil, très accueillant qui parle le français. Ils sont aux petits soins de tout le monde. Mon fils avait une otite, ils nous ont super bien conseillés pour l' hôpital.... Une superbe grande piscine chaude avec un très bel accueil de leurs chiens adorables. Et la surprise est une petite piscine privée dans la villa. Certe à la campagne mais c est ce que nous recherchions. Très bon petit déjeuner en même temps que les propriétaires. Et la cerise sur le gâteau pas de restaurant le soir. Mais conseil un très bon restaurant à environ 4 kms avec un chauffeur qui vient vous chercher et vous ramène après le restaurant w gourmet. Que demander de plus. Le paradis. Je recommande mille fois par rapport aux autres hôtel que j' ai reservé sur Bali. Possibilité massage...

Que dire rien il faudrait vraiment être exigeant pour le prix. Pour trouver mieux, pas possible.

Everything was great with the exception of locating the villas. Once located we used the old multi storey hotel 150m down the road as a reference for pick ups & drop offs for Grab transport as most had difficulty finding the property.

The Villa has a nice environment, had a beautiful swimming pool, and also a bit of view to the ocean. We also enjoyed having dogs around.

We experienced two main problems with our stay, which were quite disappointing. First, the shower was very bad. Very little water was coming out. A regular 5-minute shower would take 30-minutes. Washing our hair, especially, was extremely frustrating. I told this to the owner, he said he had fixed it but there was no improvement. When I complained again he made a joke about it, as if saying that I should enjoy that I'm having longer showers. After that he no longer answered my WhatsApp messages and did not fix the issue. The second issue happened when my partner got her periods unexpectedly in the first night. The sheets got stained, and we of course expected to need to pay for it. What we did not expect was the sermon that we got from the owner. "How will it work if every customer does this to the sheets?" and "Be careful next time"—said in an entitled, nagging way. My partner comes from an Asian background where people are much more tactful and discreet around these matters, so this was especially upsetting to her. If you are used to French hospitality and this behaviors are fine for you, then you'd have no problem staying here. But if you are expecting the more humble and customer-centric hospitality of the Balinese people, look elsewhere. Ah, and in their breakfast set, they serve you bread, but butter is not available 🤷🏼

A la fin de notre visite de Bali nous avons eu la chance de rester 5 nuits chez Caroline et Paul, a la villa Anjing. Magnifique lieu d’hébergement tranquille dans la cohue de Nusa Dua. Proche de quelques belles petites plages où il est possible de se baigner ( rare) La piscine est merveilleuse a toutes heures de la journée et même la nuit … Merci

Très jolie, propre, belle déco, literie confortable, proprios cool et p'tit dej bon. Tout était parfait pour nous. De plus Caro et Paul sont très arrangeant, ils nous ont gardé une valise pour qu'on puisse se délester durant tout nôtre séjour, ils nous ont laissé débarrasser la chambre que tard dans l'aprem et également profiter de la piscine avant notre vol retour qui était à 21h . Et les toutous très gentils... Merci encore et à bientôt 😉

We had an amazing stay at Villa Anjing! Great value for money, stunning pool and delicious breakfast every morning. The owner was incredibly kind, we could rent a scooter, and she even let us stay for free after checkout when my boyfriend got sick. Highly recommend!

A receção no alojamento não foi a melhor e um pouco confusa. Após o check-in permaneceram pessoas no interior da villa alugada a realizar manutenção sem qualquer aviso prévio. Dono da propriedade desagradável e zero compreensivo com a situação o que nos levou a abandonar o alojamento.

Stayed at Villa Anjing in Bali for a few days. The villa is peaceful and surrounded by a lovely tropical garden with dogs and cats roaming around. The tennis court and pool are nice amenities. Overall, a good choice for a relaxing break.

DO NOT RECOMMEND — dishonest and disrespectful owners After a month of travelling throughout Indonesia, this was the only accommodation we had issues with. The problems were not related to beautiful local staff, but to the french owners, who showed a clear lack of courtesy and professionalism. We are a family of two adults and two teens. We checked in on Christmas eve for a three-night stay but checked out after one night due to extreme lack of sleep. Because of the below issues, we politley informed the owners of our concerns and advised that we were leaving early, relocating on Christmas day. Instead of handling this fairly, the owners incorrectly marked us as a “no-show” on Booking.com, cancelling our stay and preventing us from following the proper process. They then re-advertised and rebooked our reserved dates, effectively being paid twice, yet still refused to refund us. The most disappointing part has been the way the owners communicated with us afterward which is dismissive and dishonest. I strongly recommend reading the owners’ responses to other negative reviews, as they clearly show their true attitude toward guests. The main issues we experienced: -Mosquito and bug infestation in both bedrooms even though we kept door and window shut, with no nets or any way to keep them out due to open gaps in roof. -Top bed sheets covered in bugs and ants, bottom sheet had unacceptable stains and ants crawling on you throughout the night. - At 1:30am a loud engine noise rumbling through the walls, which turned out to be a water pump, making it impossible to sleep. We had to try to locate this in the middle of the night in the rain. -No soap provided in any of the bathroom sinks to wash your hands, no soap or toiletries in either shower or kitchen or any where in entire villa. -Bathroom lights in both bathrooms did not work, making evening use very uncomfortable having to turn on main bedroom light on to use bathroom.

The private pool, surrounded by lush greenery, offered the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the Balinese sun. What truly made our stay exceptional was the attentive and warm staff. They anticipated our every need, from arranging local tours to ensuring our comfort at all times. The beautifully manicured garden added to the villa’s charm, creating a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle. If you’re looking for tranquility, privacy, and a touch of paradise, Villa Anjing is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!"

For me the location is perfect just minutes from geger beach. A world class wave. From there you have a selection of restaurants for any budget and appetite. Around the ground of the hotel you'll find a chilled vibe you have privacy but the opportunity to mingle with guests as you please. Breakfast is more then enough to start your day the host will do anything for you maybe even challenge you to a game of tennis.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, Gastgeber und Personal waren äußerst nett, sehr behilflich was Auskunft, Lage, Unternehmungen, lokale Tipps etc. angeht. Accueil désagréable de la propriétaire qui s’est permise de faire des remarques sur la taille de mon sac à dos et la longueur de mes ongles. Tout commentaire ou tentative de discussion était mal perçu et s’est clôturé en « nous sommes les plus riches, les plus riches de Bali ! ». Bravo pour votre réussite, seulement quand je vois la réponse à vos commentaires négatifs je ne suis pas étonnée : de l’agressivité et aucune remise en question. Si vous êtes si riches, peut être que les draps, oreillers et matelas pourraient être changés car tous tachés et pas confortables. Les gens ici parlent tellement fort dans les parties communes et devant votre porte, impossible de profiter de la piscine paisiblement, si vous cherchez de la tranquillité il faudra passer. Pour ce qui est des chiens, je n’étais pas au courant non plus, ils ne sont pas plus dérangeant que ça. La chambre ne ressemblait pas aux photos, et la salle de bain était ouverte laissant entrer le chat, auquel je suis allergique mais il ne faudrait surtout pas le dire au risque de se faire envoyer sur les roses. De plus quand j’entends cette phrase venant de la propriétaire « ah oui moi je préfère les chiens, ils sont beaucoup plus gentils que les humains », je ne peux m’empêcher de penser « c’est certain, eux au moins ils ne peuvent pas vous répondre », ce qui est confirmé par l’accueil et les commentaires. À noter que la véritable richesse vient de la profondeur du cœur, ce que Bali aurait dû vous enseigner depuis toutes ces années. Alors oui j’ai payé « seulement » 37€ pour deux nuits, mais ça ne justifie en rien ce genre de comportement. Finalement c’est peut être vous qui avez besoin de vacances. Maintenant à votre meilleur commentaire, je suis prête à me faire insulter comme vous l’avez si bien fait auprès de vos autres clients précédemment.

I went with friends and they were in a separate room, they had multiple issues and we left early. I left one day short and they left 2 days short.

Le séjour a été vraiment agréable. Je ne suis pas restée longtemps, mais j’ai envie de revenir car l’endroit est très paisible. Il y a plusieurs chiens que le propriétaire a recueillis et soignés ; ils sont gentils et ajoutent une ambiance chaleureuse, ce que j’ai beaucoup apprécié puisque j’aime les animaux. Je recommande l’hébergement.

J’ai passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cette guest house. Le lieu est magnifique : un jardin splendide, une piscine à débordement sublime et une atmosphère vraiment apaisante. L’eau en libre-service et les serviettes de plage à disposition sont de vrais plus très appréciables. Même si l’établissement n’est pas au cœur de l’animation, cela n’a posé aucun problème : j’ai utilisé Grab et Gojek pour me déplacer, et les trajets ne coûtent quasiment rien. De plus, une plage exceptionnelle (Geger) se trouve à seulement 7 minutes ! Brigitte et son mari sont des hôtes extraordinaires, toujours aux petits soins et très réactifs à toutes mes demandes. Les chiens de la maison ajoutent encore plus de bonheur : ils sont adorables ! Le petit-déjeuner était incroyable : un choix vraiment vaste, bien loin de certains hôtels proposant juste une crêpe et un café. Ici, il y en a pour tous les goûts : nasi goreng, petit déjeuner anglais, pancakes, crêpes, bowls aux fruits et graines… Un vrai régal ! J’avais lu un commentaire négatif sur le café, mais honnêtement, il était excellent : un café balinais très doux et agréable. En résumé : un endroit exceptionnel, calme, accueillant et d’une grande beauté. Je recommande à 1000 % !

La propriétaire, des commentaire désobligeant, l'eau chaude ne fonctionne pas pendant 2 jours, les toilettes sont bouchées mais c'est d'abord de notre faute avant de ce remettre en question. Elle critique tous le monde et ses employés sont des incapables. En fait c'est elle le plus gros problème. Nous sommes partis le 3 ieme jours. C'était suffisant !!! Plutôt que d'aller à la confrontation !!! Nous avons payés 7 jours et n'avons pas été remboursé au prorata !!! Je déconseille fortement cette villa

• A very nice pool, and the water is actually tested every day. • The motorbike was provided very quickly, which was convenient. • Breakfast is included (simple, but available). • Daily cleaning, although the quality was inconsistent. • Beautiful green territory and a short walk to the ocean. • Lovely cats and dogs on the property - they really add charm. The place is lovely- the territory, the animals, and the proximity to the ocean are great. But the condition of the rooms and the communication style need improvement. We also heard once that 'guests want everything for a small price' and that seemed to be the hosts main point. But why should that be a bad thing? A place can be affordable and still provide basic, clean, non-broken facilities. Guests don’t expect luxury. With a bit more attention to maintenance and guest comfort, the experience could be much better.

• The photos on Booking.com are all mixed together = so you never really know which room you’ll get until you arrive - it feels like a lottery. This leads to misunderstandings and many of the complaints you see in the reviews. We were lucky to get a great room, and we appreciate the possibility to upgrade. • Communication with the owners was quite difficult. Every question felt like we were interrupting or bothering them, even though this is a hospitality business and guest requests are completely normal. • The rooms are a bit worn out: my wall lamp was literally falling off, and the “kitchen” area (when listed as available) needs serious improvement, some utensils had rust or even mold. • Breakfast does not match the price at all if it’s not included. It was strange to see the owners eating fresh soft bread, nice jams, and well-presented eggs, while guests received basic toast, artificial jams with colorants, and a bean omelette. If mixing or customizing breakfasts is not possible, then please offer clear paid options - this would avoid misunderstandings for guests. Some guests might not mind, but it’s definitely not worth 70k - especially when you can get avocado toast with an ocean view for 50k. Our friends booked the largest room and didn’t get breakfast either.

Villa was nice w big bathroom.

French Owners were a little tetchy. Very far away from food, spas, shops etc. First night kept awake all night by frogs outside our window. Nusa Dua is not far but not what we expected as it’s a very resort type area.

Very lovingly and meticulously arranged, wonderful pool, beautiful villa. Rent a bike at a faire price. Really nice place to come down, far away from hustle and bustle.

I'm really not a fan of air conditioning, and when it's hanging right above the bed or blowing directly in your face... For me as a coffee lover, omg. It's really hard to find a place in Indonesia where they serve bad coffee, so congratulations, you've found it. The toast, or whatever it was, or the half-thawed baguette, omg, part of French culture (to the operators) and then something like that... Please?! Bathroom amenities, shower gel, toothpaste, etc. would also be nice.

The pool was the only positive

The manager and staff were rude and not very accommodating, the cabin had bugs inside due to gaps in all of the windows and doors, there was no window in the kitchen which allowed cats to come inside and make a mess. Staff would turn off the air-conditioning everytime they cleaned the room, leaving a hot room to come home to. Would not recommend to anyone.

My wife and I had a great time in Bali and found Villa Anjing to be a very relaxing place to stay. Our villa was perfect for us overall, though a few small things didn’t quite work out, like the missing hair dryer (which my wife wasn’t thrilled about!) and the air conditioning not working in both apartments we had. That said, we made it work and still enjoyed our stay. The staff were fantastic, and the dogs mostly kept to themselves, which we appreciated. The location felt a bit remote, but Bali’s excellent taxi services made it easy to get around. We’d definitely love to return to Villa Anjing to simply unwind and enjoy doing very little; it was perfect for that.

Not much, possibly the few things that needed attention in our villa to be fixed, but not a deal breaker. All in all, it was good value for money, and a good location, even though it seemed to be a bit remote.

Un séjour inoubliable à la Villa Anjing ! L’accueil a été tout simplement exceptionnel, dès notre arrivée nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Le lieu est magnifique, niché au cœur de Nusa Dua avec un jardin parfaitement entretenu qui invite à la détente. La villa offre un confort absolu, parfait pour se reposer et profiter pleinement de Bali. Un grand merci à la patronne, adorable, toujours disponible et attentionnée. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

The property looked exactly like it did in the pictures. It was quiet and peaceful although the dogs do bark from time to time whenever someone new enters the property (which isn’t often) and I personally, love dogs so I didn’t mind. There are 10 dogs on this property and 7 on the other one. This is because the owners are a lovely French couple who adopt strays and who take care of all the dogs (and a few cats) in the neighbourhood. So thank you, Paul and Brigitte, for doing your part in making this little corner of our world a better place!

Прекрасная огромная вилла, очень красивый декор, хороший бассейн, удобная кухня. Ежедневная уборка. Прекрасные завтраки по меню. Очень гостеприимные владельцы. Много собачек на территории, но они абсолютно не мешают, ни к кому не пристают, не лают, слушают свою хозяйку. На территории есть хороший теннисный корт, но плотно расписан по времери. С удовольствием вернёмся еще. Спасибо за гостеприимство!

La piscina a sfioro dona una visuale magnifica, tutte le mattine la colazione viene preparata sul momento con vasta scelta secondo il tuo desiderio del giorno ed é servita da un personale gentile e discreto. Tutti gli animali che vivono in villa sono bellissimi, curati ed amati tanto. Non dannno alcun disturbo, non sono assolutamente invadenti. Sei circondato da tanta quiete e relax. Fantastico

La villa Anjing ( maison des chiens )ouverte pour déjeuner est très bien placée en hauteur , on a vu sur la mer avec sa magnifique piscine . Les bungalows sont très confortables, court de tennis à disposition ainsi que la location de scooter sur place qui sont en excellent état . Caroline et Paul vivent sur place et nous donnent de très bons plans pour visiter et manger dans des endroits fabuleux hors des sentiers touristiques .

Le personnel et les gérants sont au petit soin, idéal pour débarquer au calme à Bali. Paul et Caroline sont toujours disponibles pour de bons conseils et de belles adresses. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et fait de belles rencontres.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un cadre magnifique. Paul et Caroline sont des hôtes charmants et accueillants. À notre arrivée, bien que nous soyons venus pour un check-out tardif, Paul nous a reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a aidés. La villa offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix : belle piscine, superbe vue, bon petit déjeuner, possibilité de louer le terrain de tennis, et un personnel toujours souriant et disponible. L’ambiance est détendue, parfaite pour se déconnecter et profiter pleinement. La présence de quelques chiens adorables contribue encore plus à l’atmosphère conviviale des lieux. La villa est située un peu à l’écart, ce qui ajoute au calme, mais il est préférable d’avoir un scooter ou d’utiliser Grab pour se déplacer facilement. Nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs et l’envie de revenir !

Staying at Villa Anjing was a dream. The ambiance was so calming and peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and comfortable .The gardens , ponds, and landscapes, stone mandala pathways were heavenly emanating cleansing high vibe energy beaming with colorful birds, butterflies, and dragon flies , frogs etc...- Divine aesthetic that will make your heart sing. Facilities diverse...swimming...tennis court....hindu statues for meditation....massages. rooms were not only clean but also incredibly comfortable with wonderful decor. We love it here so much that we extended our trip. We particularly loved the view of the beach from our balcony. It was the perfect place for a retreat. Everything was well-designed and quiet, and we slept better than we had in months... The owners Paul and Carolina were so good to us, very patient as we struggled to navigate multicultural language simply because this Villa attracts tourism from all of the world- very inspiring to keep learning Indonesian, French, Balinese etc.. We made lots of friends too! Instantious joy full of 😊 😊 😊 😊 staff and tourists/guests. Lots of laughter too.. Deeply grateful 🙏

I love dogs! just a heads up for any guests with children that are friendly but also here for extra security. So if they bark it's an alarm for our safety re: trespassing. They are very friendly.

Tout .la gentillesse des hôtes. La beauté du jardin exotique. La piscine a débordement. Le délicieux petit déjeuner servi avec gentillesse par Titi et Rina. La taille et confort des chambres. La possibilité de louer un scooter sur place en très bon état a comparé des loueurs locaux .prix très avantageux .Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous revenons chaque année et reviendrons certainement l année prochaine .Merci à Caroline et Paul

Nice location, lot of friendly dogs, sizable pool, great place, it's quite secluded not in heavy traffic area yet close to the points of interest like beach or restaurants. Nice place to stay overall

Seems like the air conditioning in my room could only be turned off or on, no matter what temperature I set, probably thermostat doesn't work or something. It was too cold at night and the blanket so thin but if I turned the air conditioning off, it became too hot for me to sleep so I kept waking up all night turning it off or on. Second night I brought additional blanket so I slept better.

Staff were nice and the view from the pool area is lovely and the villas are very cute. Many sweet dogs once you gain their trust and cats too.

We were excited to stay in the company of many dogs however, the staff seemed to be acting as if the dogs are a nuisance. Which made our stay somewhat uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok, but very limited selection and strict with requests. We asked if we could have boiled eggs instead of scrambled and the staff said no because it wasn’t part of the menu. Would recommend hiring a scooter as there is not much around within walking distance. Rooms weren’t the cleanest and zero soap/shampoo etc in bathroom provided.

I love the peacefulness, the gardens and the amazing pool. The staff are so warm and friendly and really make you feel welcome. The puppies are so sweet! My Villa as always was fabulous, brekkie great options + delicious.

We received a warm welcome and the staff and owner were incredibly friendly and kind throughout. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant — we truly felt taken care of. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience. Stunning view from the pool !

La villa dans laquelle nous séjournions mériterait un bon coup de rafraîchissement. De l'eau chaude dans les douches aurait été la bienvenue.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU REALLY LOVE DOGS. THE RUDEST STAFF I HAVE EVER MET. This place is absolutely terrible and the staff are the rudest bunch of people I ever met. The place was overrun with dogs (8-9 dogs) who barked at me and my 6 year old autistic child the whole time we were there. My child hardly left the room because she was scared to death. The room was leaking with rain every time it rained. My phone is now messed up because of water damage. My other belongings are ruined because of the rain damage. When I asked the staff for cutlery - they told me to wait until after they fed the dogs. The staff made it clear that they found me very inconvenient every time I asked for something. There are no shops here, it is in the middle of nowhere - if you order a grab, you will have to go to another meeting point (5 minute walk) I wonder if the positive reviews are fake… I never take the time to leave a bad review. Have stayed in 6 places in Bali, this was THE WORST. I felt like I was intruding in a dogs home. The only good thing was that they made a nice breakfast. That’s it.

Villa Anjing i love it ! Beautiful garden swimming pool and villa ! The dogs are so kindly. Staff are so helpfull but please respect them ! I saw a lot of customers with very bad attitude and arogance.
