Location was good, self check in was easy, quaint and quirky old house, rooftop terrace was nice, rooms were very clean.

Rooms were not as advertised. In our group of two couples, one room was very tiny and one was much larger.The room envy lingered awkwardly over dinner the first night. In the smaller room, to add insult to injury, the bed was really hard and you could feel the springs in it. The fridge was right beside the head of the bed and you couldn't open the bathroom door without hitting the bed. It should have been a single room. The shower water temperature fluctuations were dangerous, from freezing cold to scalding hot. The closet was tiny in one room and no closet in the other, just a copper pipe and shelf screwed to the wall. The shared self serve station for coffee, towels, toilet paper etc was not always stocked or you had to beat other guests to get supplies so it felt a bit like Survivor. There was no coffee one of the days we stayed so that was annoying first thing in the morning to have a coffee maker in the room and no coffee for it..

It was a terrific location. Up the hill to the Chateau and Legislature and down to the old town.

The rooms were a little tight. Really only room for the beds and not much else.

It was easy to get in, the room was comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet road, but round the corner from the old town.

You need to be able to carry your cases up stairs. There were some minor niggles due to being in an old building.

The location is very convenient to everything in old Quebec City. You can walk to anywhere very quickly, including the antique area in lower town.

The washroom was not that clean, and the use of a hairdryer blew the fuse for the entire apartment. Because there are no staff on site, only a # to a call centre in San Francisco, there's nobody who is really responsible for anything. Further, the QR code which you have to use to access "help" merely takes you to the website of Zendesk, which doesn't do anything. Finally it was impossible to watch any TV.

Great location! It’s just a few minutes walk to the cobblestone streets of old Quebec City. Our room was clean, comfortable with a view overlooking the harbor.

De locatie is goed. Op het randje van het oude centrum. Vlakbij het treinstation. De kamer was ook prima. Het inchecken via de toegangscodes ging prima. Je krijgt een paar dagen van tevoren een email met je kamernummer en je codes. (zorg er dus wel voor dat je dan toegang tot je email hebt!!)

Ik wist het wel van tevoren. Maar een hotel zonder personeel staat me toch een beetje tegen. Als je jezelf buitensluit en je bent je toegangscode vergeten dan heb je toch een probleem.

La localisation du logement était top (à 12 min à pied de la gare et 10min du centre de Québec) , la vue depuis la chambre était sympa également malgré les travaux juste devant l’hôtel

L’isolation du bâtiment est vrmt mauvaise, on entend tous les sons de dehors. La propreté peut être améliorée, notamment les draps de lit qui m’ont gratté la peau.

La localisation

Le manque de confort, l’esthétisme, chambre désuète, les images du sites ne sont conformes à la réalité malheureusement, parquet qui fait énormément de bruit, nous entendons tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir, pas de vue.

Really great location easy to find easy to access no hassle. Everything was clean and the furniture was nice. It had all the necessities you would need in a hotel for a comfortable stay

Le fait d'accéder en toute autonomie. L'emplacement proche de toutes les activités la vieille ville et proche des bus.

Il serait idéal de tenir à disposition un adaptateur pour prise électrique.

L’arrivée autonome se fait facilement grâce aux informations fournies a l’avance et notre chambre avait une belle vue sur le port. J’ai oublié un objet dans la chambre et le personnel a pu me le rendre très rapidement suite a un échange par message.

Bed was hard, tub was slippery, closet smelled bad. The room I stayed and the bathroom were very small. For the quality , the price should be cheaper. I don’t know about other rooms.

The fridge was leaking with water.. and the bathroom had a very bad smell and felt like it wasn’t sanitized and cleaned properly:((

Le libre-service est facile et on nous communique tous les éléments. L'emplacement est bien et calme malgré les travaux.

Il serait parfait de tenir à disposition un adaptateur pour les prises électriques. (pas de possibilité de charger mon téléphone)

Les lits étaient comfortables, l’hôtel était à proximité du centre-ville, la télé a beaucoup de fonctionnalités et on a bien aimé le frigo alors qu’il n’était pas prescrit dans l’annonce.

Le pommeaux de douche n’est pas flexible, les poignet températures sont inversé, la lumière dans le couloir est toujours allumé et l’alarme incendie clignote pendant la nuit ce qui empêche de dormir.

La chambre n'était pas très propre et petite pour les deux lits doubles. On aurait préféré une douche un peu plus moderne.

Muy buena ubicación, permite visitar los principales puntos de la ciudad a pie. El hotel no tiene personal y todo funciona con códigos, pero las instrucciones son fáciles de seguir. Las instalaciones están limpias, la habitación es amplia y tiene mucha luz.

O quarto é muito mais velho do que aparenta nas fotos. O hotel deveria deixar claro que não possui nenhum funcionário no local. Esta deveria ser a primeira informação, pois trata-se de um fator de decisão quando se escolhe uma hospedagem.

I didn't know you had breakfast. Our room number was #6 and I didn't know you had breakfast. There should be some literature in the room stating where and when we could have had breakfast.

The bed was to hard. The side steps are very steep. There was another door with a code access we didn't get. Only a code for the front door on 3 1/2 rue des Remparts. The construction across the street was a bit disappointing. Blocking views from the hotel. But you don't have control over city planner's upgrades.

Nous n'avons pas déjeuner, et l'emplacement correct, proche de tout.

Le manque de serviettes, il y en avait juste pour une personn̈e et on était 2.

Chambre propre et spacieuse avec un accès à une terrasse avec vue sur le port. Check in autonome mais le personnel a été très reactif à nos demandes via messages et téléphone. Hébergement ideal pour aller découvrir le centre ville!

L’arrivée autonome avec code est super efficace! La communication avant le séjour est agréable, on sait a quoi s’attendre et tout est bien expliqué.

Absence de ventilation/AC dans les corridors et air commune, en canicule c’est très inconfortable

Manque d’insonorisation, serviettes dépareillées (taille différente, un seul grand essuie pour deux et pas de recharge dans la « réserve » contrairement à ce qu’indiqué). Cher pour ce que c’est mais, apparemment, ça reste dans les standards pour Québec.

Beautiful room and extremely comfortable bed. We loved the location, close enough to walk around and explore. Easy check in process.

Ótima localização, cama confortável, pode deixar as malas em um local seguro para aguardar o horário de check-in se necessário. Cafeteria e microondas disponíveis no prédio. Chuveiro muito bom.

Prédio bem antigo, quarto muito pequeno e tinha uma leve inclinação no meio como se o piso tivesse cedido um pouco. Tudo de madeira, talvez a impermeabilização já tenha se perdido pois se escuta com muita facilidades os outros hóspedes em seus quartos.

Great location

Room was smaller than what it seemed like in the photos. There are no staff on site. Windows do not block much sound. There was construction across the street which is not the hotels fault but we could hear the noise loud and clear early morning. Also the hotel is not staffed, it took a while to get a hold of them through message.

Nothing, just nothing like the photos on the website. Run down, dirty, bad value for money.

A very charming hotel with an excellent location. The streets around it were quiet and peaceful during our stay in July. I really like hotels with a self check-in system. Everything was well organized. It’s a great place to experience the atmosphere of the Old Town.

If you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing a sleep mask and earplugs. The air conditioner can occasionally be a bit noisy at night. Other than that, we had a great stay and really enjoyed everything.

Premier hôtel automatisé que je teste et c'est une belle découverte: simple et accessible ! Lit super confortable, chambre spacieuse avec un caché du vieux Québec. Propreté impeccable (même un peu trop, le sol de la salle bain était glissant).

La porte automatisée fonctionne bien, mais elle n'est pas assez opaque sur le contour. On voyait la lumière du couloir passer la nuit. Et le frigo très bruyant.

La proximité au coeur de la ville, la propreté et le calme du manoir.

La facilité d'accès. La décoration originale des communs. La litterie est confortable. La chambre est propre et en bon état. La salle de bain est suffisante.

Je trouve que l'emplacement du frigo à côté du lit n’est pas adéquat. Les tentures des fenêtres ne sont pas adaptées aux fenêtres. Il y a trop de lumière qui passe. Les travaux de la rue sont très bruyants tôt le matin pas idéal avec notre décollage horaire. La télévision est difficile à utiliser. Le robinet de la baignoire coule. L'extraction des vapeurs d'eau est très bruyant.

Wonderful style of whole hotel

The location of this hotel is the main and almost only reason to stay in it. It is walking distance from the old city. The rooms are generally clean. The rooms were renovated, but it does not make up for the fact the building is quite old and with the typical issues related to such building. If you are not too fussy, and can live with the basics as compromise to be close to the old city, it is ok. We did really enjoy the great coffee available in the room.

No parking available next to the hotel, and climbing a fairly steep hill with your luggage is required from the nearest public parking. It is evident that the rooms were renovated, but building is old, which means squeaky floors, thin walls through which every noise in the hallways is heard, doors are not sealed enough to fully block light from the halls at night, etc. The overly soft bed make you sink into it, such that the body is not well supported. No staff on site to provide immediate support. It is called hotel, but it is basically an Airbnb type accommodation.

Great location, is a steep hill for suitcases but great once your settled to explore the beautiful city. Amenities cupboard was super helpful, and quick responses from staff with any questions.

Road works happening, which isn’t the hotel fault, just one of those things, otherwise perfect stay.

Comodità estrema del letto, bagno esteticamente bello, pulito con asciugamani morbidissimi e dotato di tanti saponi. Con le istruzioni fornite è stato semplicissimo accedere alla struttura e alla camera. Posizione molto comoda per raggiungere il centro della città vecchia in pochi minuti a piedi. Nei giorni in cui abbiamo alloggiato, nonostante il cantiere vicino, non abbiamo sentito rumori.

Dalla stazione c'è una strada da percorrere in salita per raggiungere l'alloggio, noi abbiamo utilizzato un taxi. Per accedere alle camere ci sono delle rampe di scale un po' anguste se si devono trasportare valigie pesanti.

Hmmm! There was no breakfast. There was no representative on site. Parking was horrendous. I would probably not recommend it to anyone. We did not get the passwords until we got there as we did not have access to internet.

Gut war die Einrichtung, die Lage zur Altstadt, kleine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmmer (106), sehr cozy.

Badewannne extrem rutschig!! Zum Duschen unglaublich gefährlich! Bitte Anti-Rutsch-Matte einlegen! Zimmer hat tolle Fenster mit einem cozy Sitzmöbel davor, doch leider ist die Aussicht verbaut, weil draußen die Treppe für die oberen Appartements hochführt. Haus ist eher hellhörig.

Although this is a self-service hotel, it provides what we needed for a stay. The rooftop terrace is also a great feature, offering beautiful views and a pleasant place to relax. Good location. Easily walk to every attraction. Hot water shower is good.

The bed is not very comfortable. Both sides of the double bed had sunk significantly and offered almost no support. I woke up with back pain. Soundproofing was quite poor. Noise from people walking along the corridor could be heard clearly in the room. The wooden staircase was very noisy, and the sound of water running through the pipes was also noticeable, especially at night. No windows in the room. No parking available. If you drive, choose another hotel.

Location, Location, Location! I'd stay here again just for the location. The bed was comfortable. Nice that we could store luggage before and after check in also. It's an old building with lots of character.

The room was much smaller than the pictures made it look. The walls were pretty thin and there were some noisy kids in other rooms/out in the halls.

Belle vue et tranquille

The location is amazing. It was also a good sized room. The virtual reception and the codes and the way it is explained is very efficient and it worked out perfectly. The internet was fast and reliable.

It’s a little outdated and the cold led lights make it a little depressing. A warm lighting in the bedroom would go a long way. I didn’t mind the mismatched furniture but the mattress was old and lumpy but the bedding was comfy. There is some renovating happening so it’s a little noisy but I knew that beforehand. Overall it was good value for the money but if you’re expecting something more luxurious you will be disappointed.
