Location and room was nice. The room inside was Clean, comfortable and updated. Restaurant on site made great meals and the incl breakfast was amazing

Parking lot need to be redone (broken pavement, horrible space for trucks, tight turns, people were taking up way too much space and it was very difficult navigating) A man sat in his car for two days in parking lot moving spots. Gave me the impression location is used for nefarious purposes Noisy location but it is what it is being on the main road

The renovations underway are modernizing the place.

The flowers were all dying. Baskets needs to be watered with more frequency.

Amazing breakfast

The newly renovated room was surprisingly quiet, considering its right on the highway. The beds were very comfy, the room was very clean and the shower was great!

Staff could not find my two reservations through Booking .com. The staff had to cancel the bookings and rebook my stays.

The location is convenient and the rooms were clean.

The free breakfast was a nice inclusion, but very limited. Just a traditional Western breakfast or French toast. No options for people with dietary restrictions (allergies, gluten intolerance, etc.). I could only eat the hash browns, but didn't even have the option of ordering more than one. So I had one hash brown for breakfast. It would be nice if they gave you more of the thing you order if you only order one of the items (e.g., four servings of hash brown instead of a serving of bacon, toast, egg, and hash brown.) It smelt like paint fumes in the room during our stay, which gave me an instant headache. Luckily, I didn't have to sleep in the room overnight due to a medical appointment, only my family member did and he didn't seem to be bothered as much by it. We also found a few pubes in the washroom. Also, the duvets look a bit old: they were yellow and kind of gross looking. Despite those two things, the room and bathroom was overall clean. Lastly, they put a family with kids above us and the kids were jumping on the beds, the family stomping around, and overall just disruptive until after midnight. The rooms aren't really soundproof. Since my family member had to be up at 5 am, he wasn't impressed. It would be nice if they kept families on the first floor.

I liked the layout of the rooms and the facilities provided as well as the superb breakfast from the restaurant next door to the property

The fact that after housekeeping left my door open after going in for over 6 hours from their service luckily nothing was taken but after speaking to the front of house staff and the manager regarding the next night making me uncomfortable for my stay as I had concerns for the safety of my belongings I stayed elsewhere for my last night in dawson creek and the compensation I got for my mental health concerns was a $7 Tim Hortons gift card, I also woke up this morning to find the deadbolt on my door unlocked at earlier then 5am, I chose a early checkout and all I got was reassurance safety and such were their top priority im afraid to say I won't be staying at the coast again or recommending it to anyone anytime soon

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. The room itself was clean.

It had really really thin walls, you could hear when the person in the room next door breathed. The location made me feel unsafe throughout the night. The bathroom wasn’t redone as nicely as the rest of the room.

The bed was comfortable . They gave us a room on the bottom floor with a king bed and didn't charge us extra.

When I reserved a room with 2 beds it didn't tell you that the room was on the 2nd floor. My husband can't do stairs. The front door was old and heavy. It should be replaced with a newer door.

Didn't try the breakfast-didn't like the restaurant. Location was fine but the "hotel", is actually a 2-storey motel, which was dated and had terrible exterior stair-wells and halls.

Tv wasn’t working for majority of the stay, at no fault of the hotel. Was the service provider having an issue.

Room reeked of smoke, was dingy, and overall just a bit sketchy. We ended up cancelling the reservation and finding a different hotel to stay in at 10pm on a sunday night after driving for 12 hours, which should truly tell you how dire the place was. Staff were friendly and helpful though!

Snow removal to get to the stairs that go up to the second floor. Use of salt to clear the ice on the side walks in front of the office. The lobby door needs to be fixed so it is easy or open from the outside.

Staff were super kind and the takeaway breakfast from the restaurant next door was tasty!

The whole hotel is a construction site, they should definitely have closed temporarily rather than having guests stay in a space with raw construction materials.

Room comfortable but showed its age. Renovations were under way with top floor almost complete. Bottom floor where we stayed was to be started the next week. Should be end more comfy next stay.

They are remodeling and so it’s a mess throughout the rooms are very clean however the parking lot is very muddy dirty and so you bring it in your room. Very nice breakfast friendly people great town.

bathroom floor in my room could have been cleaned better..also it was very hard to close and open the bathroom door. Other than that it worked for us.

Breakfast included with our stay was delicious and convenient. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was under renovations, but workers were quiet and gracious to guests. Would recommend and stay again!

It was clean and quiet

Adjoining restaurant gave us a free breakfast because of our stay at the motel. Unique diner just half block away. Internet and TV were good once we got a different remote control.

Unlike a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at recently, Travelodge had a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, sofa, table and chairs, etc.

Cozy rooms currently being updated. Welcoming helpful staff and amazing breakfast! Currently thete is cinstruction noise but it will be so nice once completed.

Staff was friendly... room was large.

I didn't like that the wall the bed shared with vibrated all night with a horrible noise. I did not feel safe with a local crack head rummaging through the ash tray cans looking for cigarette butts. And walking around looking shaddy.

The staff was very nice. The room was clean and beds comfortable but the hotel is in mist of renovations and upgrades, which it needs!

The bathroom was disgustingly dirty!! Hair from previous renters on the ceiling and walls, dirty toilet bowl. The main room was clean and tidy but the bed looked like the the sheets were used. Overall if I wasn’t late I would have stayed somewhere else!

My wife has mobility issues and we were assigned a second floor room with no elevator. The stairs weren’t evenly spaced the outlets didn’t work and the room was dark.

We stayed for one week due to a vehicle break down. The property is dated and there are some sketchy looking people in the parking lot, but probably because it’s the cheapest stay in town. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The room looked much better than the exterior of the building. Our stay included a freshly made breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. It was a good stay for the price. We would stay again.

We were on a quick pass through of Dawson, so we didn't want anything fancy as we were leaving very early in the morning, when we went to the room , it smelled very strong of smoke, even though it was supposed to be non- smoking, we went to the front desk and they were very good about it and offered us another rm, but when we checked it out it didn't smell but was not as "tidy" and was in need of more updates than the first rm. The staff were very good at letting us cancel the reservation, unfortunately for the prices of rm now a days we could not stay here.

This hotel is basically serves the oil industry and is a bed for the night. No esthetic value what so ever. Good enough for a quick 1 stay, when traveling.

Hold building can hear people walking talking tvs from other rooms parking lot is very tight overall the conditions needs some major upgrades, on the plus side the breakfast included is made fresh to order well above any other continental breakfasts at other hotels and the menu in the restaurant has lot of options for very good prices nd large portions

Decent rooms and free breakfast

I love Pilipino cuisine and the restaurant has a decent selection of Pilipino cuisine.

Could not be more grateful for check-in and breakfast was excellent

Clean & Comfortable, but falsely advertised and poorly maintained. Overall, the room was clean, but many things were wrong with the interior of the room. It’s very dated, a lot of build up on showerhead preventing water from flowing properly, chair at desk had worn out surface, many plug-ins don’t work. One plug-in shorted out our hairdryer and could have caused a fire. The flooring is very old and stained. Some occupants of other rooms were loud and yelling next door after 10pm. Not much noise insulation between rooms. Fairly noisy parking lot around 5am too as all the rig workers are starting their trucks. The food in the restaurant was great. However, the hotel’s policy for redeeming vouchers for “free” breakfast was a HUGE hassle for everyone. U.S. and extended family booked 4 rooms. The third party websites all have it advertised as a free breakfast, but they will only cover up to two adults per room. Even if you have one child and one adult, they ask you to pay for the second person if they’re a child. They say the child’s breakfast is $2.50, but is an extremely small pancake and juice. Any extra occupants have to pay for a meal at a reduced rate. The policy and vouchers are super confusing and from one staff member to the next there was a different explanation. On third party websites there is no mention of fees for extra occupants, but once confirmed,the hotel sends a confirmation notices that states extra occupants have to pay an addditional $20 per person.

The property seems like a place for transients but room was clean and people were kind and helpful.

Was very disappointed by condition of this hotel. Sadly it easily could have been a decent stay. However -Between the lack of attention to cleaning and residents obviously living on both sides of our room made us feel uncomfortable enough we left and got a different hotel.

Didnt get my room and no answers on the phone for a refund at all. I payed over 100 dollars and didnt get my room so all i want is my money back. And i was asked to if I needed help to the homeless shelter which isnt nice. I was visiting dawson creek.
