Hotel mal entretenu pour les parties communes... oeut etre la raison que je n ai croisé que 2 familles clients alors que l hotel a énormément de chambres. Petit déjeuner a déconseiller.

Helaas is het hotel, door de corona, wat verwaarloost en bepaalde zaken konden ze niet meer bieden.Zoals Laundry service. Hoop wel dat ze een investeerder kunnen vinden om dit hotel weer in oude glorie kan herstellen want het kan prachtig zijn.

Rooms not well cared for. Very hard bed like a prison. Breakfast 🤢 cold and old, kitchen looked disgusting too.

The room was old. Everything was falling apart or broken. Also, not clean.

Lage + Aussicht, Bar und Lobby wunderschön. Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Kühlschrank war sehr unhygienisch und hat nicht funktioniert, unter den Möbeln war es sehr staubig

The food lacks flavor, and the cleanliness of the Breakfast Dining Area, including the furniture and floor, is very poor. And front floors Hotel and The receptionist's floor is dirty, and the chairs and table at the front reception are not suitable for a hotel. And The metal pool ladder is extremely hazardous, rusty, and damaged. The swimming pool is also dirty.

The location, the staff, fully equipped gym, swimming pool, bar with a pool table. The room was big and comfortable.

Unfortunately, our stay at The Sintesa was deeply disappointing. The hotel feels like it’s been abandoned and left to decay — outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. Facilities are in a dire state, with broken furniture, peeling paint, and an overall sense of neglect. The breakfast was barely edible, with limited choices, and no attention to cleanliness or presentation. It’s clear that the staff aren’t happy — the overall atmosphere was indifferent, at best. The location doesn’t help either. It’s perched on a hill at the end of a dead-end road, far from anything interesting or convenient. I was worried at first that we wont be able to even book grab taxi. Thankfully it was easy. Overall, The Sintesa is not a place I’d recommend to anyone. It’s in desperate need of renovation, new management, and a serious rethink if it ever wants to attract guests again.

Our first impression reminded us of The Overlook Hotel out of the Jack Nicholson movie The Shining. Why? According to the staff, 250 rooms of which only 150 were usable with about 30 guests staying at the same time as us. It was quiet....very quiet and if you want it calm, then this is the place for you. The room was large, bed comfortable, clean enough, but it, like the hotel, is showing its age...but we paid $50 a night so great value for money. We opted to include breakfast, which offered pretty standard stuff, an egg option, selection of fruit, Indonesian staples, toast, tea, juice...exactly what you would choose anywhere else. I'll come back to quiet. This hotel is very close to central Jimbaran, but is up a hill, past Raffles, past The Four Seasons, with a turn-off just before a convenience store...that leads to...the end of the road, which is exactly where this hotel is located, so no road noise. To get to Samasta complex, for example, takes 5 mins max on a scooter, same for the seafood restaurant area, walking down would be OK, but not up that hill. The pool is the size of a dry dock, huge, depth about 1.3m, they have a smaller pool for kids to drown in. Describing the lobby as grand doesn't do it justice, it's the size of 2 dry docks minus the water. Staff were friendly, check-in was no problem. In-room water, tea, coffee, sugar but no jug to boil water, no spoon to stir your beverage so had to ask for that. Stangely enough, no milk, so we woke up the guy in the Barber bar/restaurant and asked ...options were he'd put some in a glass for us to take away or we could buy a litre. Great view of Jimbaran & airport from the rooftop.

This place is well past its hayday and it's hard not to think that it is being left to run-down, room-by-room, until keeping it open is no longer viable. Quiet is great, but when that morphs into slightly creepy, think Barber: full bar, grand piano, karaoke set-up, tables and chairs, dark, gloomy, lifeless, you have to ask yourself if this place isn't already on life support. But, at $50 a night, when it does everything any hotel is expected to do, no complaints.

The cleanliness, many dust in the room specially above the bed. No bathrobe on display even that mention as facilities from our booking. The breakfast was lack of choice

Middle of nowhere

Nice spacious room. Got the free upgrade so that always helps. The front desk staff were super helpful. And bar staff kept me well lubricated.

Service was good and the pool area is nice.

Breakfast buffet was not that pleasant. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was sorta okay but couldve used a proper scrub. The hotel does not look like the pictures.

The rooms are very big and the pool has a shallow section for less confident swimmers. There is a kids room with activities for younger children to play with. The location is very quiet and peaceful. It is a 20 minute walk or 7 minute taxi ride to Jimbaran beach. There are minimarts only a 10 minute walk away. The Bar on site services food and drink all day and well into the evening (including to the poolside and room service). The menu has a good mix of western dishes and local ones, at reasonable prices. Staff are really friendly, especially to children - you really feel welcomed at this hotel. They are happy to help you book a local taxi or you can download the grab app (similar to Uber) and do it yourself.

There is no shuttle bus as advertised on the website. The western choice at breakfast is very limited.

Gym looked better in pics. No running machine and no rowing machine. Looks bigger in pics.

I don't even know where to start. This hotel is empty, I never saw more than 4 people at the same time, a lot of rooms are empty with broken doors. But even like that, the staff cannot give you a room early. The location could be great but it's a bit remote, you cannot walk anywhere. The room was dirty, lots of hairs everywhere. The AC was broken, always on 24 degrees.

It was a nice hotel building but unfortunately they didn't maintain well. The washroom that located on the main floor (near by the waiting area) was dirty and smelly, we can even smelled before we entered. Most corridor that connected to all room was dirty, the swimming pool was out of service (guests can't use it). The free breakfasts were cold or room temperature all the time, nothing excited, and many flies in the dining area.

very run down, we were expecting the hotel to look like the photos as you would, and it looks completely different everything looks very old, everything was closed, very disappointed with the amount of money we paid, photos need updating on here.

Absolutely nothing.

Avoid this place at all costs! If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. The location is a deserted nightmare, miles from anything. Upon arrival, the feeling of abandonment was overwhelming. Our room looked like it hadn't been touched since the last guests fled in terror. The bedsheets were stained and clearly unwashed, and when housekeeping come everyday they just made the bed and didn’t change them. The bathroom was a moldy nightmare. We had an unwelcome RAT scurry across the floor during our stay. We immediately exited the hotel and had to find another place to stay, away from Uluwata within the hour. Hotel advised we would receive an email confirming a refund for our stay however we have heard nothing since leaving. The overflowing bins were everywhere. Housekeeping was a ghost, never to be seen. Our attempts to alert the staff of these issues were met with indifference. We rung the reception 3 times one night and no one answered. They did absolutely nothing to address our concerns. Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there that won't leave you traumatised and itchy.

Food and Outdoor Toilet

The place is ok but definitely not the aircon in the room, and if you are someone who can't take the Bali heat this room is not for you. Even though the aircon remote shows16 Deg it was like a sauna for me cos of the placement of the aircon, there is no air flow to the room. They should consider having a fan in the room or change the aircon placement.

The staff was so nice and they remembered me and my fiancé! The staff always addressed us by name and were always so helpful. I was honestly sad at the end of my stay as I knew I would never experience hospitality like that again until my next stay. All facilities were amazing.

It was a bit frustrating that the battery in our door died but the staff was quick to fix the issue so we didn't wait long.

It was a massive hotel and the room was cold and comfy. The bed had soft sheets and it felt soo good to sleep in. The smell of the shampoo/soap they provided was really good too. Would love to get my hands on that hahaha our room came with breakfast and while the options weren’t a lot, it was definitely enough and satisfying.

The property itself is located in a quiet area where you have to drive through bumpy roads to get to but its walkable to some eateries/spas, but nowhere the grabcars cant locate. The place was also slightly run down and the toilet emitted some smell every time I flushed.

It's like a hidden gem, cheap hotel with good vibes, good entrance to the lobby. Such a good deal to stay with family

Hallway, and balcony was so dirty like they never sweep it. Swimming pool was dirty too, I can tell when I dive, I couldn't see under the water properly. The changing room can't be used, they don't have various options of breakfast. The staff wasn't really responsive, gotta call them again and again only to request some q tips.

The staff were all excellent and very helpful. They really made me feel very welcome. Thank you for the upgrade, the room was also comfortable and spacious.

The property is only partially open and offers limited services. The owners should focus on re-opening completely to ensure a great guest experience. The excuse of the pandemic is a bit lame… It looks like they want to generate some cash in order to finish it step by step. Not sure this is the right strategy.

The rooms are comfortable. Good air-conditioning. Great showers and hot water. Clean pool. Overall, quiet but easy to get a grab or scooter. The girls at reception are exceptional, they deserve a raise.

Unfortunately we found a giant rat in our bathroom and couldn't get hold of anyone at front desk at 5am. The girls addressed it right away the next morning but it was stressful. Breakfast was buffet and pretty average. The cleanliness could be better in the dining area.

The hotel location is really bad can’t even walk down to the nearest beach that is a good 25 minutes walk on a very hilly and dangerous road , we had relied on local taxi app to get out of the hotel has there’s nothing to do in the hotel nor even an entertainment event. The hotel is old and needs a good update.

Just stayed for a night

Very nice staff doing their best. Moved me to a new room with no fuss on my request. Food was good value and pretty decent. Location is not far from Jimbaran beach. Good value for what you pay. If you keep that in mind it's fine. Bali in general is a whole lot more expensive than it once was.

This resort is large and many rooms are not occupied. It needs a lot of maintenance. I tried to find the fitness centre but got lost in a maze of abandoned corridors and rooms on the lower level. Quite spooky & disconcerting. Breakfast selections could be improved a bit but the coffee was good.

The staff was so helpful and kind and the hotel is equipped. The hotel is a bit old but it is just what we needed, we could relax and the breakfast was delicious. THANK YOU

Nothing at all.

Seems like no one ever stayed for long. Towels stink n dirty. Room not cleaned properly. Breakfast was a joke. Better to order from outside or even eat at road side that would be better. Staff is rude and impolite. Biggest mistake to stay at this property.

Friendly welcome on arrival, and they kindly upgraded us to a junior suite. Staff always friendly and polite. Large clean pool area with complimentary towels.

Rooms not cleaned to a high standard, very quiet hotel with very few guests but we were positioned right next door to a loud group of men who were shouting at 2/3am every morning. Breakfast very poor, limited choice and all items were freezing cold. Bedding and pillows were not clean properly. If you removed the pillow case from pillow the pillow was heavily stained with large brown and yellow marks. Water in shower and bath both freezing cold. Location of hotel is not near anything. No shops/restaurants etc, you require a bike or grab car to go anywhere. Gym was ok, but none of the treadmills were working and the gym didn’t get cleaned the whole 4 days we stayed (dirty water bottle and gloves in same position every day). This hotel offers multiple services: barbers and spa but none seem to be running due to the lack of guests staying. Lower lobby also very damp smelling, with large leaking hole in roof. Large bucket was positioned on the floor to catch the water. On checkout we were required ‘to wait, for the room to be checked’ this appeared to seem as though they were looking for a reason to charge us extra money. The staff claimed it was to check for ‘belongings’.

After Covid the number of customers have reduced and the staff is trying their best to be positive and provide service.At the price paid it was a good service.

Very Good resort but very less people

Perfect starting point to recharge from an Australian winter after landing. Booked 3 nights initially, then extended to 6 nights and barely left the hotel - 20 mins from airport, great breakfast, tranquil poolside, super friendly staff, reliable internet for work - I expect to be back!

In dirty area and very hard to get transport from the place , We had paid in advance for the buffet but we didn’t get it on any of the days of our stay and every day they gave us two options for breakfast.

It's clearly had no money spent on maintenance for a long time. Weird atmosphere in there too.

I love the view was very amazing and beautiful And also the location was on top of hill , colder compare with Kuta or Seminyak.. The hotel was near muaya beach and jimbaran beach. Can only ride a mobile for like 3 mins for muaya beach and 8mins for Jimbaran beach. Best location to get seafood around the beach as well The hotel is so huge .. and so peaceful...

I don't like the breakfast menu was not having any variants. They have some Indonesian food and also one type of white bread for sandwich Would have been better if they added more menu anyway But so far the restaurant is pretty 😍 near the pool as well The room has bathub but the water was not too hot It was hot but getting cold in mins But the bathroom was so pretty and love the design which was smart .

Staff was really kind!! Dian was AHMAZING. it’s isolated up on a cliff so it’s very quiet and peaceful. It’s a little outdated and hadn’t been updated cleaned in a while…. I found a dead frog under one of the cushions one day trying to tan and there’s some cobwebs, but for the price it’s super nice, relaxing and no complaints. I was sad to leave! BOOK IT
