Reviewed Sep 5, 2026We arrived later than planned as our train was delayed but it was still fine.
The room looked damaged and dirty. The cupboard was broken. There was just one squashed madeleine next to the coffee machine. The bathroom was the worst! We didn't dare walking without shoes as it was dirty. No hand soap, we had to use the shower gel. We also didn't dare using the shower as some hair were stuck around the shower head. We could hear people talking in the street right next to our window. Thankfully we only stayed for one night!

(I stayed two separate nights, going to and from Italy)Lovely staff "We are always pleased to see our guests when they come back!" - this is how I was greeted, with a big smile, when I arrived after midnight having taken the TGV from Turin. On both nights I stayed I was given a bigger room than the one I'd booked.
Minor quibble - the Wi-Fi didn’t really work on the room. Two members of staff tried to sort it out but to no avail, it wasn’t their fault. I was in a ground floor room on the second visit and I was clearly directly over the Metro line. I was so tired that I didn’t care!

Despite two people staying in the room, only one coffee portion was provided — a basic oversight that set the tone for the rest of the stay. The bathroom was in serious disrepair: broken shower curtains, a blocked sink, and visible mould in the shower, which is both unpleasant and unhygienic. The room itself was poorly maintained, the window curtains were hanging off the rails, giving the room a neglected appearance. Overall, the condition of the facilities fell far below reasonable expectations, and the lack of care was obvious throughout.
