Punaise de lit moi et ma fille sont sommes revenue avec des piqûres j’ai téléphoné et la madame nous a pas cru ,elle a dit que il avait des personne dans la chambre que rien été mentionné Il on référer au restaurant déjeuner près de hôtel été cetais mauvais ma fille a rien manger Le spa de hôtel étais très sale plein de crasse au bord du spa

Nice town and the locals

Most of the accommodations advertised on Google were not available; ie massage not at site; restaurant closed

Comme l'hôtel était notre pied à terre, nous avons bien apprécié la restauration. Pour le déjeuner, la nourriture n'était effectivement pas très chaude, mais le choix, la variété des aliments compensait bien.

Au niveau de la chambre, nous ne pouvions pas bien ajuster la douche et la toilette n'est pas très économe pour l'eau ... même constat pour la douche. Nous comprenons bien qu'une mise à niveau peut s'avérer couteux!

Piscine, le lit confortable,

Chambre bruyante, bruits de ventilation ou autre. Le fait de ne pas pouvoir acheter un café au restaurant sans devoir prendre le déjeuner à 23$. Le fait de devoir prendre son auto pour aller manger à l’extèrieur.

That I paid extra for an upgraded room and asked for a view in which they told me they couldn’t provide me with and placed me directly across the ice machine and so I had to wake up at 8am bc everyone was using the ice and it’s so loud that it felt like they were pouring ice right next to me. The room also was semi close for the elevator so I could hear kids scream, love paying extra and can’t enjoy myself. And then to top it off, parking is far since everyone parks first come first serve and there was nothing in my conditioner to use for my shower. 😑

La ville de Magog

Dans l'annonce, il était indiqué 2 grands lits doubles. À notre arrivée, la chambre comprenait un lit double + un lit escamotable aucunement confortable. Avoir su que c'était un lit escamotable, je n'aurais pas pris cette chambre. Aucune ventilation dans la salle de chambre donc la chambre demeure humide ++ après la douche. Nous avons du insister pour obtenir des oreillers supplémentaires.. Bref, très décué pour le prix. La chambre et le confort me valait pas 600$/2 nuits.

La chambre était très confortable ainsi que le lit. La propreté était correcte malgré quelques cheveux trouvés sur le plancher.

Le balcon était sale. Il y avait des reste de nourriture sur la table et par terre sous la table. Très décevant pour un établissement de ce genre.

Quiet location near town

Due to a wedding, it was very busy. We were directed to park at the back, underground parking, and had to carry our suitcases up the stairs and around the front of the building to check in. We were not offered to check in and then park. When we did get to the room, it was clean and adequate but only had a view of the roof and the wedding opposite. We asked to change but there were no rooms available. Not good value for what we paid.

The way it was set up it was a suite. Except for cooking facilities. Quiet Location. Quiet rooms. Comfy beds.

Everything. 1st time hotel stayers. Comfy beds, extremely clean. swift check in from checking to checking out. Very modern rooms/suites. Dining options-Pay to buy Breakfast & Also have a Burger Bar next door on Property. Loved the avail hours, 9pm closing time. Limited hours in the area to different eateries.

Attended our nephew’s wedding. We were very impressed with our whole experience. From the attentive staff, the quality of food, the size of the room and its comfort, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

The room was beautiful, comfortable, well furnished and included nice glassware and view.

The on-site restaurants were by reservation only which was a bit off-putting if you wanted to drop in for a cocktail or quick bite.

The place is lovely. Great room with full kitchen and balcony. We also used the pool The dinner at the Bistro was excellent. We had a package that included wine tasting at LeCep d'argent winery. Another nice experience. On the negative, the place needs a little refresh. Chipped paint in the rooms, broken tile along the pool Hopefully this will be resolved for the future. The staff is warm and welcoming.

L’accueil, le confort, la piscine….

C’est moindre mais, la douche n’était pas parfaitement propre. L’eau ne s’écoulait pas bien, la douche s’emplissait d’eau. J’ai dû nettoyer le drain….beaucoup de cheveux accumulés.

Le ménage du lendemain. Le lit a été refait négligemment sans remmettre la couette, elle était posée sur le divan. Et quelques débris au sol... Bref...

Suite Signature grande, confortable et bien décorée. Centre de soins apprécié. Piscine appréciée. Le souper au restaurant le Bistro était sublime. Courtoisie du personnel et repas très apprécié.

A notre avis, il manquait quelques petits plus dans ce confort plus haut de gamme de notre suite. On aurait apprécié des robes de chambre incluse qu'on retrouve souvent dans d'autres hôtels. Déjeuner correct, mais moindre que nos attentes étant donné le prix. C'était tiède, donc moins intéressant. Par contre, personnel très avenant.

J'ai eu le loft pour 2 nuits. La chambre est spacieuse et belle décorée, avec foyer. Très propre. Lit et oreillers confortables. Il y a une kitchenette, micro ondes, ustensiles pour cuisiner. Le petit déjeuner est style buffet : œufs, bacon, saucisse, frites, fromage, fruits etc.

Il y avait beaucoup de bruit car l'emplacement donnait vers le parking, on entendait des voix, des portes claquer etc. Le serveur pas courtois au restaurant.

Quiet location most of our stay; clean and comfortable king bed despite the linens "traveling" whenever we shifted position; antiquainted TV lacking bluetooth meant no streaming from our personal devices; lighting was so poor in the coffee making cubicle that a flashlight was required! The walk-in shower was excellent: plenty of hot water and room to move around. Wait staff in the two restaurants, front desk staff, and the room attendants were uniformly excellent. All were friendly, helpful, and met our needs.

Pas grand chose

Overall, it was OK. The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly. The photos look nice but the place is a little bit outdated and the room was not sound-proof. The restaurant (bistro) was horrible, food looked pretty but everything was bland, fish was overcooked and chewy. Maybe we got there on a bad night, I'm not sure what happened but it was not worth the price. We were looking for a nice experience but everything was overcharged and we felt like there were better options elsewhere. I don't think we'll be back.

Le prix en haute saison mais tous les hôtels sont dispendieux et celui ci était le meilleur rapport qualité prix.

L'emplacement est très bien situé, la chambre était propre et le lit confortable.

La piscine désuète et salle, le bruit en soirée, pas de gardien de sécurité pour contrôler les fêtards à l'extérieur qui nous empêche de dormir. Manque de lumière dans le studio urbain, l'unité est très sombre.

Trouver un bas salle, sous le bureau, le contour de metal du foyer est tomber en pleine nuit et la responsable le matin a l’acceuil était mal aimable.

This hotel was very nice. Really. We loved everything about it and will stay here in the future when we visit Magog. Room was contemporary and comfortable with good espresso coffeemaker, good quiet AC excellent beds and pillows. Not too soft and not too firm. Just right. Good parking and they have an underground garage as well which we used. Restaurant was nice overall but I think the descriptions in the menu were overall better then the dishes themselves. It wasn't bad by any means. The dishes simply needed more seasoning and maybe more balance. The reason I took 1 star off is because of 2 issues. 1. The smoke alarm in the room all of a sudden started beeping and asking to press the test button around late evening when we went to bed. And then it quieted down but the same noise woke us up about an hour later. At which time I called the emergency number and some nice guy came right away and removed it. And that's how that problem was solved. Which is fine but I hope it's a one time occurrence and not a constant issue. 2. Also I feel that the bed sheets could be a better quality. They feel fine but they do make a lot of sort of rustling crunchy noise when you move at night. And so if you're not alone I'm bed they are not ideal.

Tripped coming in the hotel on a side door with a large step up - you should make with with yellow paint or tape.

Great view, bed and shower in the room. Polite and friendly staff. Wonderful pool and hot tub. An impressive gourmet meal at the restaurant. Recommendations: better lighting in the bathroom, suitcase stands as the storage of clothing is limited, and a table for small meals or appetizers and snacks.

La piscine et le bain à remous sont à refaire. Il y avait une annonce pour des rénovations mais on n’a jamais été informés. Le stationnement est un peu loin de l’entrée principale.

Overall experience is decreasing, what a pity. The last 3 time I have to stay there I have something to complain. This week : 1 - Reservation lost by the hotel, I had to wait and argue, demonstrate that my reservation trough the travel agency was valid and accepted.. fortunately the staff after multiple discussions found me a room. Someone was supposed to come back to me about solving the issue.. never. 2 - No soap in the bathroom only shower gel so if you want to wash your hand you need to go in the shower to get.. before I had this soap.. not now 3 - The window was not able to close properly, making my room very noisy each time a vehicle was on the way ... For 2 & 3 I went to the staff to ask to solve the topics... never. It is a pity as the hotel is very nice, well located but service is not at the level. Next time I will try to stay somewhere else.

A very good hotel with wonderful staff. Even though it was fully booked, they managed to find a good room for us.

Emplacement

Pas d eau chaude à 21 h , pour prendre une douche avant de dormir. Attendu 45 min., l eau chaude n'est jamais revenue.

Les installations sont bonnes, c’est un hôtel propre. Situé près de la montagne. La seule fois où le personnel de l’hôtel a bien servi, c’était au petit-déjeuner. Ils étaient attentifs et savaient bien s’occuper des clients. Les autres devraient prendre exemple sur eux.

Les installations sont bonnes, mais le personnel de l’hôtel devrait suivre chaque matin une formation pour apprendre à être cordial, aimable et à garder le sourire. Quelqu’un m’a dit que c’était une question de culture. Je ne pense pas que ce soit le cas, car ici, au Québec, dans d’autres hôtels, le service est de qualité, mais celui-ci est vraiment médiocre. Par exemple : le personnel de la réception n’était pas du tout aimable. Pas un sourire ni une attitude accueillante. Si l’on croisait un membre du personnel de l’hôtel, il ne saluait même pas. On les saluait et ils ne répondaient pas.

Lovely place. The room was great. Pool was wonderful. The gym was the best hotel gym I've ever seen. A little bit of a drive into town (5 min).

We really enjoyed our getaway at this hotel. We’ve stayed here 3 consecutive years over Spring Break. The room and the facilities are very nice. Lots to do on site and a very short drive to Magog town and parc national Orford. We will return next year for sure!

It is not her first time going to this hotel. Why we keep coming back is because it’s a beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable, and we love the swimming pool and outdoor hot tub. The rooms are spacious and have a lot of storage space as well as coffee machine and a small fridge. They have two very good restaurants. One is more casual and burger pub, the other one a little fancier with both having great food. The staff is always very helpful and welcoming.

Unfortunately, this time we were only staying for one night and after going to the hot tub at the end of the afternoon and coming back to our rooms, we weren’t able to wash off the chlorine before going out for dinner because we had no hot water. At best it was lukewarm cold. My husband went downstairs to advise the staff of this issue and we were told that it was probably because many people were using the showers at the same time so to check back later and up the hot water would most probably come back. So we did a quick wash and upon a return from the restaurant, we tried to shower or bathe, but then again the water was lukewarm. It was quite disappointing for such a nice hotel room that is not cheap to not be able to take a comfortable bath before going to bed. Next morning when we were leaving, I did check on the water and at that point it was hot again. Because we have been there at least five other times in the past it would not stop us from going again, but this time was a little disappointing.!

The reception was not friendly (they weren’t mean, just standoffish). The hotel is not welcoming. There were few guests the night we stayed, yet we were roomed right next to someone else and it was LOUD! Sort of an odd experience and glad we had earplugs. The pool was cold, and the hottub was barely hot enough to stay in…

It wasn’t worth the price paid, and we will try a new place that is more welcoming, has a warmer hottub and better sound proofing.

Great Spot. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Close to Mont Orford and towns Magog and Cherry River The staff was excellent, and the 2 restaurants were very good with great service.

It is not the first time we go to this hotel. The hotel room itself did not disappoint. Nice spacious clean. Our room has a king size bed with a sofa TV desk chair and another chair. Plenty of storage space. Coffee machine, and small fridge. The swimming pool, outdoor sauna was working beautifully and we took advantage of it. The staff at reception is always friendly and welcoming and helpful. However, this timewe were quite disappointed, as when we got back to our rooms around 6 o’clock, there was no hot water, at best lukewarm. We managed to get cleaned up before supper with what I would call cold water. My husband went downstairs to tell the staff of this . We were told that it was probably because too many people were using hot water at this moment and that it would get better later. When we got back to our rooms act at around 9:30-10:00 , we encountered the same problem. It’s not a very nice feeling to not be able to shower or bathe properly and comfortably. However, the next morning, when we got up, the hot water was back on. I must say that this is the first time that this happens in maybe the six times that we have been there. But it needs to be mentioned, as thinking back, I don’t think that a lot of people using hot water should be a reason for a hotel not to have any hot water in the rooms. These rooms are not cheap and at minimum people expect to be able to take a bath. But overall, it did not take away from the beautiful premises and it’s nice restaurants and atmosphere. .

1. When we asked about a shuttle we were given the wrong return times and were not told that shuttle doesn't come on weekdays, so on one of the days we waited for 20 minutes outside until we went to reception and were told that there was no shuttle 2. There were no bathrobes- would be nice to have bathrobes for the pool 3. Coffee pods were not renewed- we had to go ask for them at reception 4. Pool was closed at a peak hour for filming and we were asked to leave the pool, although no filming was taking place when we left 5. No drawer to put clothes. Spaces provided for clothing were really inconvenient.

À notre arrivée les draps étaient souillés. J’ai appeler à la réception et en dedans de 10 minutes ils sont venus changer les draps.

La piscine n’est pas faite pour relaxer. Elle est remplie d’enfants en tout temps. Le truc aller y a l’heure du souper c’est plus tranquille.

la salle de jeux :) on a pu aller jouer aux pool et babyfoot. par contre, comme mentionné à l'accueil, du "bleu" pour les baguettes pourait être offert aux adultes via l'accueil. le gym était complet, on a juste manqué de temps pour y rester :).

Besoin de rénos autour de la piscine et les portes des chambres ferment bruyament, il y avait un mariage, les gens revenaient tard, c'est notmal. mais la fermeture des portes ouff.

Piscine et spa. Quincaillerie de Porte rouillé, céramique cassée a plusieurs places. Espace propre malgré tout et eau chaude.

WIFI MEDIOCRE. La raison qu’ils ont données… Trop de monde de connecter. Un classique lorsqu'une entreprise/hôtel ne mets pas de budget dans ce service… La directrice a quand même essaye de me donner le service via une autre connexion mais ce n'était pas mieux.

Le bain-jet n'était pas fonctionnel, et comme la piscine était très fréquentée ainsi que le spa, nous aurions particulièrement aimé pouvoir en profiter. Pour ce qui est de la télé, aucune chaîne québécoise n'était apparemment disponible. Vive la télé intelligente (?) et l'américanisation !

The room was small, as reserved, but solid with a comfortable bed and great Nespresso coffee.

Housekeeping was minimal; they never cleaned the bathroom during our week-long stay and often knocked while we were inside. Twice we were woken up early by construction noise (painting/sanding) in the hallway, and our fireplace was broken the entire time. Management didn't mention the fireplace until we complained, eventually offering a partial breakfast credit. Finally, the "hot tub" was merely warm for the duration of our stay. For a 7-night trip, we expected much better attention to detail.
