Atlantis Beach Hotel

This is my second stay in this hotel and we were upgraded to the superior room with private pool, so excellent customer service from staff. In general, hotel has its privatw beach across the street, pretty close the Old town too. Fascilities are also great, pools in garden, spa, restaurants.... all that you might need. Highly recommended.

Das Hotelmanagement ist hervorragend – eines der besten, das ich je erlebt habe. Das Hotel verfügt über eine schöne, grüne, gepflegte und ruhige Anlage mit zwei grossen Pools für Erwachsene und einem Kinderbecken. Freie Sonnenschirme und Liegestühle stehen sowohl an den Pools als auch am Strand stets zur Verfügung. Der Strand befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel auf der anderen Strassenseite, wie es in Griechenland üblich ist. Am Abend ist es angenehm, einen 30-minütigen Spaziergang ins Zentrum von Rethymno entlang der Uferpromenade, die von kleinen Restaurants und Läden gesäumt ist, zu unternehmen.

Die Küche ist überwiegend typisch griechisch; viele Gerichte werden in Teig gebacken oder frittiert; es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten der internationalen Küche; es werden keine fettarmen Milchprodukte angeboten.

Ontbijt was perfect. En zoooooo'n vriendelijk personeel.

Fles water in frigo aanvullen, dat kost toch geen fortuin denk ik.

Sauberes Hotel, mit guter Lage, Zimmer sind neuwertig und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen, egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen wirklich sehr lecker! Nicht das „übliche“ Buffet-essen sondern eine leckere Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Der hoteleigene Strand ist zwar nicht der schönste aber auch nicht überfüllt und direkt vor dem Hotel. Allgemein waren sowohl am Strand sowie am Pool immer reichlich freie liegen vorhanden, und das in der Hauptsaison. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Hotel, mit perfekter Lsge, direkt am Strand und trotzdem stadtnah um abends in die Altstadt zu gehen.

Bellissima vacanza. La struttura è centrale, facile da raggiungere e dotata di un comodo parcheggio. La spiaggia privata rappresenta, senza dubbio, un plus. Il mare abbastanza bello. Servizi comodi. Prezzi ragionevoli. Il consiglio è di spostarsi verso il centro a piedi (dista circa 30 min a piedi). Note di pregio a Nikos (forza Roma!!!), sempre gentilissimo e disponibile. E anche gli altri ragazzi super formidabili!

Ci sono delle piccolezze per renderlo un cinque stelle a livello superiore, pur tenendo in considerazione che ha un ampio bacino di clientela: il cibo, la formula buffet viene incontro a diverse esigenze e gusti. Tuttavia, potrebbe essere più curata. Così come le piccole coccole (ad es, rifornimento capsule caffe).

Personnel agréable, emplacement en face de la plage et assez proche du centre ville. Propreté et belles chambres.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et la décoration est épurée. L’hôtel face a la mer est de belle facture avec un design moderne.

Quelques petits points à améliorer au niveau des excursions sous-traitées. Tout le personnel doit veiller à donner des consignes explicites. Nous avons raté notre car pour une excursion alors que nous étions dans l’hôtel. Le personnel devrait être plus réactif (prévenir les clients que la car est arrivé). Nous avons dû prendre un taxi à nos frais et sur notre initiative pour rattraper notre car pour l’excursion à Elafonissi.

The buffets were always interesting & tasty. The staff were warm & friendly. There was an adequate gym, closing time was early for gym and swimming pool which was a bit limiting. Super beach and general room sizes, generous.

The staffs are the best! They are so nice and supportive of our inquiries. Since we arrived morning, they allowed us to check in noon time and gave us seaview room. A lot of free treatments were given to my children 4 and 7 years old. We felt very relaxed and well taken care during our time here. The beach in front of the hotel is great for swimming and very clean. Along the street has lots of good restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices, especially their cake section.

The hotel is about 2km from old town so its not quite walkable for children. We usually took taxi for 7 euro one way.

Very convenient location and very comfortable bed. Breakfast with variety options. Sunbeds with small mattress- very convenient as well, not crowdy even in mid of July (very comfortable as well). Staff is super friendly.

Great location, close to a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and right in front of the beach,inside the hotel and around the pools, the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxed. There’s no loud music or chaos, and you don’t have children running around. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a calm, laid-back and chill atmosphere.

The room is spacious and clean, but the sink is located inside the room, directly opposite the bed, so if one person gets up earlier, it can easily disturb the other. Also, the bathroom and shower have glass doors that don’t provide complete privacy, so this may not be ideal for those who prefer a fully private bathroom area

L’hôtel est splendide, la terrasse pour les repas du matin et du soir était super avec vue sur coucher du soleil ! Le service est top, les chambres sont très belles. Ils fournissent les serviettes de plages et de piscine ce qui allège les valises. La plage privé avec transat (compris dans la chambre) est très propre et le service bar snack est d’un bon rapport qualité prix Un parking est disponible juste devant l’hôtel pour déposer les bagages et le parking privé se trouve à l’arrière accessible via une autre rue, il est sécurisé par un portail.

Si vous souhaitez aller tous les soirs flâner au niveau de la vieille ville et du port ça fait une petite trotte à pieds.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit wirklich genossen. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bekommen, darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und waren mit den Parkplätzen auch sehr zufrieden. Die Poolanlage haben wir auch täglich genutzt, das Essen und die Cocktails waren lecker. Abends sind wir meist in die Altstadt gelaufen, auch hier waren wir von der Lage des Hotels überzeugt. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit den Hotel.

Beim Frühstück war meist recht viel los, sodass die Atmosphäre eher ungemütlich war. Teilweise entstanden lange Schlangen beim Zuweisen der Tische.

הכניסה לספא, כרוכה בתשלום נוסף וגבוה מאוד , הכוונה לכניסה בלבד ומוגבל בזמן וזה לא כולל טיפולי ספא. בחדר הראשון שקיבלנו היה ריח לא טוב, החליפו לנו למחרת. מצופה שדבר כזה לא יקרה כלל

Idéalement situé, au calme en retrait du centre-ville mais accessible en une 15aine de minutes à pied, l’établissement bénéficie d’une jolie plage privée et aménagée. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu, les chambres très agréables, vue piscine ou vue mer. Bonnes prestations de restauration, accueil professionnel et agréable, toutes les conditions sont réunies pour passer d’excellentes vacances ! Vous trouverez à moins de 5 min à pied, des commerces et restaurants mais je conseille fortement de continuer la ballade jusqu’au centre. La ville de Réthymnon est très jolie et vous y trouverez boutiques, restaurants…… Vous êtes également bien situés pour visiter de beaux sites : La Canée, le lac de Kournas, le monastère d’Arkadi, le lagon de Balos ( y aller tôt sinon c’est bondé), la plage d'Elafonissi (idem) N’hésitez plus, excellent rapport qualité prix.

I had a fantastic stay at Atlantis Beach Hotel & Spa and would highly recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. They truly made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, both at breakfast and dinner, with a great variety and high quality every day. The hotel was spotless throughout my stay, and everything was clean, well-maintained, and organized. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, and the private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas was perfect for spending the day by the sea. I honestly have nothing negative to say. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We’ve just spent a lovely week here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and air conditioned. Great pool area with 2 pools and a little kids splash pool. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast is excellent with a huge variety of hot and cold foods. Loved every minute of our stay. Will definitely return. If highly recommend this hotel.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel, sehr sauber, toll ausgestattet und komfortabel, super Frühstück und ein außergewöhnlich nettes und professionelles Personal. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist sehr gut und es gibt alles drumherum, was man braucht. Wir waren zum vierten Mal hier, das sagt schon alles.

הגענו לחגוג את ירח הדבש שלנו במלון. אחרי נסיעה של שעה משדה התעופה קיבלה אותנו כריסי בחיוך. לאורך כל השהות שלנו צוות הקבלה והbellboys היו מאוד שירותיים ונחמדים ועזרו לנו בכל מה שהינו צריכים. ארוחת הבוקר והערב היו טעימות, הבריכות היו גדולות מספיק ולא צפופות, המרחק מהעיר העתיקה היה קילומטר אבל היה כיף ללכת ברגל בערב. אם היינו צריכים מונית אז בקבלה הזמינו לנו והמחיר של המונית היה סביר בהחלט. המלון והחדרים היו נקיים מאוד. אנחנו רוצים לציין במיוחד את aggeliki שדאגה לי בכל ערב לקינוח ללא חלב, תודה לשף שהכין לי ובמיוחד תודה לקריסטוס שדאג לי בכל ערב. החוויה בארוחות הייתה יוצאת מן הכלל במיוחד בגלל הצוות. ממליצים מאוד להגיע לשם, למרות המרחק משדה התעופה.

Everything but especially the staff

Lovely hotel and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and aircon worked well. Would highly recommend!

This is a lovely hotel that delivers all round impeccable service. The rooms are generously sized and the pool areas, and beach amenities are excellent. I dined evenings at the buffet, it was so good and so well priced. Offering local treats & delicacies, great service and beautiful sunsets. Breakfasts are delicious. This hotel has a small gym, this is rare. The gym is a bit basic, the equipment could be updated but it gets the job done. The spa looked excellent if you like treatments. Overall, a well organised, and beautiful stay. I liked the fact that I was out of the Old Town intensity and on a beautiful beach promenade. Drive to old Town about 5-7m $8 euro. Highly recommend this hotel for all.

Myself, husband and 16yr old son are coming to the end of another fabulous stay at the Atlantic beach. We returned after a gorgeous stay last year and it has not disappointed! The hotel is immaculate! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of sunloungers, both at the beach and pool whatever time of day you go. The hotel is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. The old town and venetian harbour are absolutely delightful. I throughly recommend this hotel. It's been a wonderful holiday!

Very very nice stay. Words can’t describe the words for our stay. Location is perfect, rooms were big and clean and the staff is incredible. We stayed for 8 nights. Thanks to Angelika, Jason, Jorge the pool bar hero and every single of the staff members. Thanks also to the hotel owner for being so kind. We will for sure come again.

3 főre foglaltuk a szobát és a 3. fő egy szétnyitható vendégágyon aludt. Igaz csak egy éjszakáról volt szó, de ebbe a kategóriába nem fér bele egy vendégágy ebben a formában véleményem szerint.

Das Personal im Restaurant könnte etwas freundlicher sein

My partner and I stayed at the Atlantis Beach Hotel & Spa for a week and we had the most fantastic time. From the start, being welcomed from our transfer by a member of staff who took our bags, to the friendly reception staff and brilliantly attentive bar staff inside the hotel and at both the pool and beach, we felt very well looked after. The cocktails available at the pool bar were divine! The breakfast was vast and delicious. The rooms were so clean on arrival and were attended to every day and we received new beach towels every day too. I had an amazing full-body Aromatherapy massage in the spa with Georgia. Having the private part of the beach so accessible was brilliant and the hotel is a 25 min walk (or 10 min Hoppy scooter) into the town with so many shops, restaurants and bars. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely consider staying again. We couldn’t recommend it more to people looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Die Straße ist Nachts etwas laut, die Fenster sind leider recht schalldurchlaessig. Der Spabereich ist schön, aber Sauna und Dampfbad sind sehr teuer. Bei 5 Sternen sollte das inklusiv oder kleine Gebühr dabei sein.

La situation de l'hôtel très proche de la mer, sa grande piscine, son calme, sa propreté. La gentillesse du personnel et son attention, sa disponibilité. Les plats servis permettent d'avoir une nourriture végétarienne si on le désire. Centre ville accessible facilement, mais hôtel à une distance suffisante pour bénéficier d'une atmosphère calme. Un grand merci à TOUS, à Chrissi et Nikos qui nous ont accueilli à notre arrivée, à Katerina sur la plage...etc

Amazing staff, amazing location! Breakfast was incredible! Such a choice! Immaculately clean everywhere. Swimming pool looked amazing but weather wasn't conducive. Everything was reasonably priced. Evening live DJ added some vibe to our chill out experience. Perfect location for beach strolls and a walk to the old town. Had a spacious balcony room which overlooked the sea. Simply perfect.

Die Lage ist super, nur durch eine Straße und man ist am Strand. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet mit einer wunderschönen Gartenlandschaft. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und schön eingerichtet. Würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen!

Ensemble du personnel très accueillant et aux petits soins, que ce soit le personnel de l'accueil, les bagagistes, les barmans, les serveurs du restaurant ou les femmes de ménage. Restaurant également au top : grand choix de plats au petit déjeuner comme au dîner et tout est très bon. Nous avons également testé les plats à la carte et c'était parfait. Le parking à disposition est également très pratique.

Trois petits points d'amélioration : - prévoir davantage de patères dans les chambres pour permettre de suspendre les serviettes de bain. - un vrai jus d'orange au petit déjeuner serait apprécié - nous aurions aimé que les plats soient parfois servis un peu plus chauds (mais c'est un avis très personnel !)

We had holiday with 4 adult relatives. We booked 3 rooms and were given rooms next to each other. This is not something we requested but was done by the hotel and was a great boon to our short stay. Rooms were comfortable. We had sea views with a balcony which we utilized often for times of conversation and relaxation between trips to different parts of this beautiful island.

Wonderful 5* hotel with friendly and welcoming personnel. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Seaview restaurant has plenty of delicious food to offer with maitre d'hotel Aggeliki making sure everything goes smoothly as per 5*. Well maintained swimming pools and the beach area just across the road with sun-beds reserved for hotel only guests. Strongly recommend!

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, the food was great, and the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Also the location is very good. The spa was amazing! I had a massage with Georgia and it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend! :)

Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was always really clean and the facilities were really modern. We had a room with a pool and the pool was perfect to cool off in. The beach is literally across the road and was so peaceful and relaxing. We only had breakfast each day at the hotel and it was a great variety! The old Town is about a 40min (slow) walk and we walked in and back every night for dinner. The old town is fabulous! Loads of small lanes to shop in and so many restaurants to choose from. We had a great stay!

L'hôtel est très agréable, proche du centre de Réthymnon (accessible en 20 minutes à pieds par la promenade en bord de mer), il est calme, les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien agencées et décorées sobrement. La table est excellente au petit déjeuner comme au dîner avec un large choix qui varie tous les jours. Les deux piscines sont très appréciées avec leurs bouées ainsi que l'accès à la belle plage avec les transats (accès libre aux clients de l'hôtel). Enfin la possibilité de se garer dans la rue ou dans les parkings mis à disposition gratuitement (caution pour le bip) est grandement appréciée lorsqu'on voyage en voiture.

Het personeel krijgt een dikke 10! Iedereen even aardig, kundig en behulpzaam. Schitterend uitzicht over zee.

Het hotel ligt aan het einde van de boulevard, behoorlijk ver weg van het dorp. De hotelkamer heeft een vreemde constructie waar de gootsteen meteen bij binnenkomst in de kamer zit en de wc en douche daarbij achter een half doorzichtige glazen deur die niet afsluit. Dit betekent dat de hele kamer vochtig blijft na het douchen, je partner niet naar de wc kan als de ander staat te douchen en je je afdroogt midden in de kamer. We hadden de kamer met privé zwembadje, maar dat water was zó koud dat het onbruikbaar was. Het ontbijt is niet zoals je van een 5 sterren hotel mag verwachten met een zeer beperkte keuze aan vers fruit/brood/beleg en als “sinaasappelsap” een soort onaangelengde siroop.

Un peu loin du centre

Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sehr schön, groß und modern eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir fanden die unmittelbare Strandnähe (nur eine Straße dazwischen, die weniger gestört hat als gedacht) auch super. Der breite Sandstrand ist schön und ideal für Kinder, weil es nicht schnell tief wird.

Was man als Familie wissen sollte: Es gibt weder einen Kinderspielplatz (der wird lt. Hotel gerade umgebaut) noch ein Kinderspielzimmer (nur Spiele zum Ausleihen). Kindermahlzeiten gibt es, wenn man danach fragt, das haben wir leider erst einen Tag vor Abreise auf Nachfrage erfahren. Das Buffet an sich ist umfangreich, hat mich aber nicht überzeugt, da lauwarm, sehr fisch- und fleischlastig und sehr salzig und würzig, sodass es (v.a. für Kinder) nicht so leicht ist, hier fündig zu werden. Halbpension würde ich nicht empfehlen. Sandspielzeug gab es auch auf Nachfrage keins zum Ausleihen, der Kinderpool ist für Kleinkinder passend - Ende Oktober allerdings zu kalt zum Baden, da nicht beheizt. Das Meer war hier deutlich wärmer.

I’d like to share my experience with the SPA of the hotel and emphasize their huge impact on guests’ wellbeing. I had a full body treatment with hammam and scrub included. The facilities of spa offer a jacuzzi as well. Overall ambience is relaxing, everything super clean and the staff deserves a special mention - a huge thank you to Olga, Georgia and Emmanuel’s for being so attentive and professional. Looking forward to coming back!

Un corner ":light" pour les desserts serait bienvenu en plus des fruits (yaourts O%, compote sans sucre...) Il y a essentiellement des pâtisseries.

Great spot if you plan on taking a ferry to santorini, its a 20 minute walk. Breakfast was nice here. Only downside was paper thin walls on the first floor, youll be able to hear your neighbors if they are loud!

Crib wasn’t necessary and took up a lot of space.

Schöne Anlage, freundliches Personal, alles picobello sauber, Pool & Strand sehr ansprechend. Bekamen Upgrade auf Zimmer mit Meerblick mit einem großen Balkon/Straßenseite. Allerdings sehr laut, auch nachts. Frühstück: Keine Abwechslung, kaum fettarme Produkte, Kaffeeprodukte aus dem Automaten alle gesüßt. Nette Frühstücksterrasse mit Meerblick, aber Tische dicht an dicht und Atmosphäre wie in einer Kantine. Zimmer: kein separates Badezimmer. Dusche & WC: je in einer Glasbox, vis-à-vis Waschtisch, offen im Zimmer. Dreimal haben wir Bescheid gegeben, dass das Wasser in der Dusche nicht abfließt. Auch WC-Box und Vorleger unter Wasser. Es kam zwar immer jemand, das Problem wurde aber nicht behoben. Nur 1 einziger Haken für 1 Badetuch (!), keine Haken für Kleider, nasse Badeklamotten. Bestenfalls knapp 4 Sterne. Schade!

Room was dark, configuration of toilet/ shower cubicle was odd. Aside from first day, no bottled water in room. Walk into old town brought you past some dilapidated, dark buildings.

Excellent hôtel sur la plage nous avons adoré notre séjour, la chambre était moderne et parfaite avec balcon sur la mer .Le personnel est très accueillant . Le déjeuner est copieux ,il y a de tout !! Distance de marche sur boardwalk sécuritaire même le soir pour aller au centre de Réthymnon,N’hésitez pas à réserver

A lovely hotel with all the facilities we needed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always with a smile on their faces and very attentive. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the service at the beach was also marked by smiles and excellent, friendly service. All in all, a wonderful experience with a high standard from start to finish

Food, cleanliness absolutely superb, but we arrived late Friday having booked a Superior double with sea view. We were told we had requested a quiet room.. Not True !!! and when questioned were told ‘our agent requested it !!! We had no agent , it was all done online by ourselves. We had no sleep as we were so disappointed and upset… Queried it next day to be told we could have a different room. We eventually got the room we had booked and paid for from photos on the hotel website but made to feel that we were being a nuisance Yiannis was very condescending and said it was a room for 4 people implying that it wasn't the room we booked and said the side room we were given was a superior one ! Certainly not according to the website. This really soured the holiday for us which was a shame as the rest of the staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help.

Второй раз отдыхали с 30.08-06.09.25 семьёй с 5-ти летним сыном в этом отеле, с интервалом в 7 лет, всё было прекрасно. Ужин выше всех похвал, персонал безупречен. Госпожа Ангелика из ресторана на своём месте. Удачи и процветания Вам!

Privéstrand met gratis bedjes en parasol. Prima ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooi zwembad met strandbar. Nette kamers. Het is een half uurtje lopen over boulevard naar het hele gezellige oude stadje Rethymon met allemaal gezellige restaurantjes. Wij hadden kamer met zwembadzicht en half zeezicht, was prima.

Top personeel, Van receptie tot het poetspersoneel waren top. Vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen. Kind regards Fam Muyshondt

אהבנו הכל. נראה חדש לגמרי. הכל מתקדם ועכשווי. חדרים גדולים ונוחים, יש בהם הכל. שרות מעולה, חם, מסייע, אדיב ונדיב מאנשי הקבלה ועד אחרון העובדים. שתי בריכות גדולות ונקיות, מסז׳ים במחירים נוחים מאד, ארוחות עשירות ביותר, מגוונות וטעימות. חניה חינם ומיקום אידאלי לטיולים לנקודות החשובות. אין ספק שכשנחזור לכרתים - נחזור למלון זה.

What a great experience! Excellent location, spacious clean room , friendly, helpful and polite staff. Food was absolutely out of this world! Variety, design and every single day something new! Great spa with good deals and packages. Olga explained all deals and offered great package that was amazingly executed by Emmanuela a Georgina. I'd highly recommend to all my friends and would love to come back ! Private well maintained beach, 2 pools . Absolutely NOTHING missing! Love love love it!
