The property was newly renovated. So it looks good.

The staff attitude was not very friendly or accommodating.

Big room, very clean. Everything worked. A 5 minute walk to the Grand Hotel. There is a good food court in the nearby Aliya Green hotel (?) on the corner of the Main Street by the roundabout.

A short distance from the main drag, but very dark. Bring a torch.

Strávili sme tu jednu noc a boli sme veľmi spokojní. Izba bola veľká a priestranná, posteľ obrovská a mimoriadne pohodlná – mala som tu jeden z najlepších spánkov. Raňajky boli chutné a majiteľ bol veľmi milý a ústretový.

Bestes Preisleistungsverhältnis in Sri Lanka bisher. Freundlicher Gastgeber, ruhiges Haus mit sauberen grossen Zimmern und bequemen Betten. Super Ort um eine Weile inne zu Halten und etwas Ruhe vom hektischen Sri Lanka zu geniessen.

La habitación era enorme y muy cómoda. El baño inmenso, pero lo mejor de todo fue la amabilidad y el trato recibido por el señor encargado del hospedaje. Recomendado al 100%

Easy enough to get to but ealier signage from Grand Hotel Road would be more helpful. Nice free safe parking. Host Lalendra was welcoming and was at our beck and call with a smile. The first view was very pleasing with a beautiful lawn with flower borders and a Tudorish facade of the main building. The room 3 was large with all comforts - big double bed. Hot water on tap anytime made it feel like ome. Fully equipped wash room had really soft clean towels changed every 2nd day. Room lighting was conducive fir work and sleep. Plenty of tea and coffee was mush appreciated. English breakfast was on time every day but as vegetarians choice was minimal. Being very close to the Gregory lake we had the opportunity in the evening ( before 5.30pm) to do a first time boat ride which was the high light after a tiresome business day. We thought Villa Cassandra and Lalendra is a little Gem fully worth the money. Highly recommend. Thank you Lalendra👍👍👍

Nos encantó la limpieza de la habitación, el baño y la ducha perfectas, cosa que por aquí cuesta más encontrar y el sitio era precioso. Además tienen un calefactor que nos vino súper bien

Everything was allright

Very welcoming manager, great location next to town. The room was very comfortable and included a heater for cold weather. Ample parking. Couldn't fault it.

Las habitaciones son enormes, limpias, cama comodísima y buena ubicación (unos 15 minutos andando al centro). El dueño es encantador, nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos y nos hizo el mejor desayuno que comimos en Sri Lanka. Además como es una zona en la que hace más frío hay un calefactor que caldea muy bien la habitación.

Los ventanales estaban un poco más sucios (eran muy altos y grandes), les hace falta una limpieza.

We were very fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves with no other guests whilst we were there, the young man who let us in and provided our breakfast daily was a lovely youngman who treated us with smile everytime we got in. the location was great and we could walk to most places, we were located just near the Grand Hotel and spent a lovely afternoon there with a High tea that did not disapoint. Would definatly stay here again.

El hotel estaba bien ubicado, a un corto paseo del centro. Las instalaciones buenas, camas cómodas.

Había una perdida de agua en el baño, la primera noche no tuvimos agua caliente, el wifi andaba en forma intermitente. El desayuno que ofrecían era muy caro, 15 dólares por persona.

Bella struttura molto pulita e accogliente, posizione centrale ma tranquilla. Buono il bagno e la doccia. Bene anche la colazione abbondante. Noi ci siamo spostati a piedi o al limite con pochi minuti di tuktuk si arriva ovunque.

Un po' fredda la stanza ma è normale per il posto. Col piumone abbiamo comunque dormito molto bene.

L'edificio in stile inglese e stato tutto rinnovato, la camera era spaziosa, ben arredata ed aveva un ottimo bagno. Colazione abbondante e varia (un misto fra stile inglese e srilankese). L'host e stato super gentile, premuroso ed cortese.

The caretaker would not let us use common areas beyond a certain time even though we kept volumes low and no other guests were really getting impacted

Hotel accpeted our booking 2 months prior, sent automated regular messages about check in and arrival but when we arrived the hotel was closed with no sign of life. We tried calling both numbers, including our taxi driver trying to reach them but no answer to any calls. After 7 weeks of travelling in South East Asia with all our accommodation booked through booking.com and absolutely no issues this was disappointing and frustrating as we then had to find somewhere new to stay late in the day after a long train trip, in the pouring rain with our luggage. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Very clean, comfortable rooms, discreet and polite personnel, and nested in the quiet part of town. Perfect for a night of restful sleep.

Cozy little villa in the heart of Nuwara Eliya offering spacious rooms, excellent hot water with good flow and speed, room heaters and clean linen, managed by a friendly and helpful person. Nothing excessive or over the top but every basic need met with class.

This place was great value for money. walking distance from the grand hotel and the town. clean, big rooms and very clean bathroom, wooden flooring. the hosts were very pleasant. superb wifi. it was PERFECT

Great room! Very comfortable. The location is near the center of the city and the restaurants. In the end there was a 10% service charge that wasn’t expected. The staff was very helpful.

Villa Cassandra is located near to Victoria Park, the Lake and the Grand Indian (walking distance). The Owner was always there for us (thank you!). We liked comfy beds and heater in the room. The temperature and pressure of water was always satisfactory. The place is very clean and WiFi was very good. We like high rooms.

The villa was in a great location - walking distance to town and grand hotel and a convenience shop at hotel 5 minutes away. Our room and bed were huge and clean and quiet and had a lot of storage. it had a kettle and heater and tv and we were given water everyday… the hot shower was wonderful. our host was helpful with everything . we love our stay here and recommend it

the curtains were not block out but it was still dark enough to sleep

Lalindra was a great host. Very helpful and not invasive at all. Location was perfect for someone who wants to stay near the town but also look for a peaceful environment (Scenic views are somewhat limited). All the required amenities were available and working as expected. Bed, sheets and the duvet were warm and comfortable

Some of the wall sockets were not working as expected. Shampoo & Conditioner bottles were empty.

Breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit beautyfully arranged on a plate, yoghurt, sri lanka omelette with toast and Ceylon tea. We enjoyed every bit of it.

The location is so perfect, walking distance to Victoria Gardens, racecourse, Lake Gregory and a short stroll to the golf course. Our host was particularly friendly and helpful, organizing transport and providing advice. Our rooms were spacious with a couple of seats and a table, as well as a stand on which to place your luggage.

Only accept cash payment. Not a massive issue but you need to forward plan as you can only withdraw 100-150000lk from an ATM in Sri Lanka each day.

This property is in a good location. It’s quiet but easy to walk to everything. We came and went no problems. The room was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was great. Breakfast was lovely. And we had a fabulous dinner at the Grand Hotel Indian around the corner. It was all we could have asked for one night. Highly recommend.
