Die Lage sehr zentral , Parken in der nahen Mirabell Garage. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück sehr umfangreich und gut. Die Zimmer einfach aber sehr sauber. Das ganze Haus sehr ruhig, speziell der Innenhof lässt einen zur Ruhe kommen. Der Aufenthaltsraum mit einer Gemeinschaftsküche und Kühlschranknutzung. WLAN ist ausgezeichnet.

Zimmer im Sommer heiss, wobei Ventilatoren etwas Abhilfe verschaffen. Da die Lage sehr zentral ist sind natürlich auch Lokale vor dem Fenster. Dadurch ist ein schlafen bei offenem Fenster schwierig.

Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist perfekt. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. In der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants und Geschäfte.

Es war sehr heiß und das Altstadtfest war, war es nicht möglich abends das Fenster zu öffnen. Eine Klimaanlage wäre gut gewesen.

Eine kleine Oase mitten in der Stadt, zentral gelegen und dennoch ruhig, sehr gutes Frühstück, man kann sich auch für ein Mittagessen entscheiden.

Das wunderschöne Gebäude, die geräumigen, sauberen Zimmer, die Matratzen waren in der Stärke genau richtig für mich.

Zentrale Lage, Nähe der Altstadt, direkter Busverkehr (Linie 1) von Markartplatz zur Pferdeschwemme (Großes Festspielhaus), wunderschönes historisches Gebäude samt Kirche, herrlicher Innenhof mit zahlreichen Tischen und Sitzgelegenheiten, Brunnen und Grünpflanzen, Kirchenglocken, köstliches Frühstück mit netter Bedienung, geräumiges Zimmer, Aufzug, freundliche Rezeption, ein Ruheplatz inmitten der Stadt!

Aufzug vom Zimmer ziemlich weit entfernt, langer Fußweg, Rezeption und Gepäckraum ab 16 Uhr geschlossen, später kein Ansprechpartner, Zimmerräumung bis bereits 10 Uhr, Türen gehen sehr schwer auf!

This was an amazing place to stay with history and the best location. Very safe, comfortable and with everything you need. An added bonus was a really good breakfast included in the price.

Es ist sehr laut, da die Altstadt Gastroszene direkt am Haus ist. Zimmer sind aktuell sehr warm gewesen, da keine Klimaanlage und keine Jalousien da sind.

The breakfast was epic! What a variety and cute tables and place settings. The large doors were self opening and the whole place was roomy and grand and tastefully decorated.

I don't think I had aircon in my room. But I didn't ask about it - tired after a long flight - but the room was quite hot. For all I know there was aircon and I just didn't recognise it as such.

A really interesting and quirky property. Great location, helpful staff, allowed me to leave luggage after check out. I booked a single room but I was given a huge double room which was very welcome! Really impressed.

Beste Lage, schöner Innenhof mit Arkadengang und sehr gutes Buffetfrühstück. Man sieht, dass auf Sauberkeit großen Wert gelegt wird. Ein Ort mit besonderer Atmosphäre.

Super zentrale Lage, schöner Innenhof, sehr leckeres Frühstück mit Plätzen im Freien, zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer. Parken im Parkhaus Linzer Gasse zu Sonderkonditionen. Ich würde wiederkommen :-)

Für mich war es ok, aber wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, könnte durch das Nachtleben in der Seitenstraße und die Kirchenglocken gestört werden.

Die Lage war für mich das Wichtigste. Das Haus liegt direkt neben dem Mozarteum und so hatte ich keine Probleme an allen wichtigen Unterrichtsstunden teilzunehmen und konnte mich in den Pausen auf meinem Zimmer erholen.

Es ist Nachts sehr laut von der Straße her, aber das kann man nicht ändern.

Se trata de un edificio histórico y por tanto el entorno es privilegiado. La habitación amplia y cómoda equipada con cocina y menaje. perfecta para una estancia. Buen desayuno. Muy recomendable.

Flexibility in check in, lovely room, breakfast was superb and the staff were very helpful. Also included free public transport card in booking.

Frühstück reichhaltig, wenn man das Gästehaus einmal gefunden hat, weiß man die Lage zu schätzen. Parkgarage nicht leicht anzusteuern, beim zweiten Gang schon wesentlich leichter, auch der Fußmarsch.

Habe DZ gebucht, musste aber das Familienzimmer nehmen, obwohl ich vorher schon mitgeteilt habe, dass nur 2 Personen kommen. daher höherer Preis.

Die Lage im Zentrum ist unschlagbar. Alles in Gehnähe (Bahnhof, Mirabellplatz, Domplatz, ...) Ruhiger Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheit. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Gute Auswahl bei Frühstück (auch wenn die Kuchen trocken waren).

Alle Zimmer gehen auf die Straße oder Nebenstraßen (mit Lokalen hinaus). Dadurch kann es recht laut sein, anders als in anderen Städten auch noch deutlich über 22 Uhr hinaus.

Very close to everything we wanted to see in Salzburg. The Mirabelle gardens, Mozart's apartment, Mozart's birthday house, and the Fort. The staff were very friendly, and the room sizes were generous. Stepping into the building from the bustling outside, feels tranquil and adds much needed quiet to rest. The breakfast was great. There are two door to the room and two windows so it keeps out noise well, provided its cool enough to close the windows..

As others have noted there is the a lot of noise outside from nearby pubs etc. We were lucky to have a cool change, so after leaving the windows open and the fans blowing for a bit. The rooms cooled sufficiently for us to close the windows, so we didn't have to hear the noise. They do provide hearplugs, should you need them.

The fact you’re staying in an old monastery with its own chapel is amazing!

Die Zimmer sind großzügig bemessen und einfach eingerichtet, aber es fehlt an nichts. Ein Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche und ein Fernsehraum stehen zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist gut und die Lage ist exzellent. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

In den angrenzenden Gassen gibt es viele Restaurants, dort ist abends natürlich viel los, aber um Mitternacht ist dann auch Schluss. Für empfindliche Gemüter liegen Ohrstöpsel bereit.

Alles wunderbar, schlicht und sauber, absolut ausreichend. Gutes Frühstück, schönes Ambiente.

Trotz allem ist der Preis relativ hoch, allerdings noch untere Kante für Salzburg.

Das Frühstück war gut, die Lage ist gut weil zentral. Die Zimmer sind nicht klimatisiert also heiß im Sommer. Leider in der Nacht eine sehr starke Lärmbelästigung durch umliegende lokale. Das sichtbare Personal war sehr nett.

Eine Klimaanlage hätte wesentlich verbessert. Die Lautstärke der umliegenden Lokale ist extrem.

The property is spectacular, the church is incredible and the location could not be more central or convenient for walking around Salzburg.

The rooms were hot and the fan provided was old and noisy, this is the only negative though, everything else is great.

The location is central and the breakfast is excellent. The central courtyard is nice.

Unfortunately I had a negative experience at this property. The room opens directly onto a very loud bar, and this was not disclosed at the time of booking. I of course accept some reasonable city noise due to the central location; however I experienced pounding bass and loud music from at least 5pm to 11pm, meaning I could not relax in the room at all and had to go out. I have travelled a lot and this is the loudest place I have ever stayed. I also could not open the curtains because people at the bar could see directly into the room. The website states guests can 'relax in the quiet oasis' of the building which is misleading - it would be more accurate to say this has the vibe of a party hostel. I truly don't understand how other guests have noted it is quiet - perhaps their rooms didn't open onto a bar? I made a complaint at reception and they told me there was nothing they could do. Do not book if you want any peace at all!

Interesting to stay in seminary. I liked the gentle quiet & felt very safe. Simple decor appealing & the architecture picturesque.

This is a good hotel with nice breakfast, warm reception, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, and accessible location. One reception staff can speak brilliant Chinese in perfect accect and standard pronunciation, which makes my experience much better!

The booking website and the hotel should be on the same page regarding the response to customers. I was approved for earlier check-in on booking website but actually quite the opposite when I actually showed up in the hotel. No matter what answer is replied to the customer, yes on no, please make the 2 channels the same.

There is NO air conditioning- which typically would probably not be much of an issue - but Europe was having a heat wave.

Beautiful old building, with a lovely courtyard and lots of historic details. Felt very lucky to stay in such a pretty place. The chapel was a place for quiet time too. The bedrooms are not luxurious, but they are clean and a t size with attractive high ceilings and and elegant windows.

Return visit to this wonderful hotel. Full of character. Great city centre location but so peaceful and tranquil. Excellent value for money. Huge double room with electric blinds and a couple of fans to keep the room cool in the summer.

The location is very good, the place has good soundproofing, the room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and they offered a good breakfast, I enjoyed it outdoors.

Alle waren super freundlich.Ein sehr großes Lob an die Küche.Ein tolles Frühstück mit vielen selbstgemachten Speisen.Super leckerer Kuchen.Obwohl ich nicht der Fan von Kuchen zum Frühstück bin.Habe ich mich über den super leckeren Marillen Topfen Kuchen gefreut.Hut ab Auch das Personal das für die Reinigung zuständig war hat jeden Tag das Zimmer aufgeräumt obwohl es nicht unbedingt nötig war.Ein zweites Kissen wurde mir auch gleich gebracht.Toll Gut hat mir auch gefallen dass es eine Küche mit Kühlschrank gab und Aufenthaltsräume. Super zentral gelegen. Im Sommer bei offenem Fenster hört man das Leben der Lokale die unter meinem Fenster angesiedelt waren.Was mich allerdings nicht gestört hat. Gestern gab es sogar ein Cello Konzert gratis da genau gegenüber jemand toll gespielt hat.Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Ein gemütlicher Stuhl oder Sessel hat mir gefehlt. Die Ablage hinter dem Kopfteil vom Bett war unpraktisch weil ja das Kissen auch halb darüber liegt habe ich mich nicht getraut die Lampe anzumachen.

Great, varied options for breakfast and really kind staff who made me feel welcome. Also a super location, especially for the price. And a gorgeous inner courtyard which is very peaceful.

As others have said, it can be a little louder with a bar on the other side of the street (although this shouldn't be overstated) and the walls are quite thin which means noise travels through the building. Perhaps not the best for really light sleepers. Ear plugs are provided in case!

Self-Check-in ab 16.00h Check-out bereits um 10.00h Frühstück nur bis 10.00h!!!!! Ich habe eine 2. Nacht gebucht, das war nur möglich in einem Doppelzimmer, das keinen zusätzlich Komfort anbietet mit einem Zuschlag von 50 Euro. Am Samstag-Nacht war im Hinterhof viel Musik und Lärm, kaum geschlafen.

Very clean rooms and amazing location

I assume most rooms are on the outside wall of the seminary and in the summer, you really need to open the windows to cool the rooms down for sleep; however, the noise from an active bar scene just across the alley prevented keeping the windows open until well after midnight.
