家族で行った初めての温泉旅行でした。 スタッフの皆さまがとても親切で、お料理もお部屋もきれいで、 とても良い思い出を作ることができました。 ありがとうございました。

押入れの布団が汚い。畳さんしたが髪の毛が沢山出て不潔でした。

食事は美味しかったですし目でも楽しめて、stuffの対応も良かったです。 大浴場は一部清潔感に掛ける部分がありますが、色々なお風呂が楽しめて子供も喜んでいました。 足袋やパックなどのアメニティも充実していてよかったです。

部屋の空調のバランスを調整するのが難しかった。 あと、部屋の入口周りの照明が暗かったので明るい方がよいですね。 loungeのフリードリンクで、切れている（空）のものがあったので適時補充した方がよいと思います。

静かでのんびりすることできました。人が多いところは苦手なので、たまにはこんな所での宿泊もありかと思いました。

周辺が閉館されたホテルが多く寂れた街になってたところ。また、このホテルも川沿い側はリフォームされておらず、少し残念でした。

和室でお部屋も広くのんびり過ごすことが出来ました。 窓から橋や足湯などが見え、景色は綺麗でした

二人で宿泊でしたので、湯呑みが2個でした。お湯を冷ます湯呑みまたは他のものが無く、せっかくのお茶を熱湯で入れることになり残念😢 渋味が強くなってしまいました

当日急遽予約しましたが、食事がとても美味しく、施設自体も古さはあるもののきれいでした。内風呂はサウナがあるほうがよく、そこの差があるのと、貸切風呂とジムは宿泊者には無料で利用できるようにすればもっとよい施設になるのではと思いました。、

パートナーのお誕生日に休暇を取り、訪問させて頂きました。温泉だけでなく、特にお食事のおいしさとスタッフの方々の丁寧な接格に二人とも大変満足をしており、久々にゆっくりとした時間を過ごす事ができました、ありがとうございました。 また、ぜひお伺いをさせて頂きたいと思います！

A spacious and comfortable room, excellent service, pristine facilities and just a 10 minute walk away from the local train station. For value, it feels like a five-star hotel. A perfect place for a stay in a prime location for a hot spring, with a refined feel that punches above their weight even when surrounded by more luxurious and expensive hotels.

The breakfast and dinner menus could be published in advance. I didn't have an issue as I researched traditional onsen food in advance, but it could be somewhat disconcerting for those unaware. Though it was all delicious food, I can picture some, especially foreigners, being spooked by the rush of dishes they've never seen before.

No food of choice for non-Japanese Guests. Its high time , they accommodated

food and small room for 4 people , though there were better rooms in the hotel. No lift to the third floor .for elderly

とにかく静か。落ち着いていて、設備は古いが綺麗にメンテナンス出来ていて、子供が小さい時行った時と同じサービスが受けられた。（自分は６０代になります）食事も半個室（暖簾で分けられている）で落ち着いて食べられる。 食事内容は豪華とは言えないが、体に優しくとても美味しかった。スタッフの接客はお客様の身になってくれているのが良くわかる。

フロントがたんせ外国人のようで、誠意がこちらに伝わりにくく、半分無視されてる感がある。せっかくなのでもう少し教育された方が良いと思う。 食事は大満足。栃木牛を使ったトマト鍋は美味しかった。

年季を感じる建物ですが、清掃等は行き届いていていました。 またご飯が二食ともとても美味しかったです。種類豊富で、どれもおいしく、お腹が満たされました。 温泉もとても気持ちよかったです。

The price of 26000yen per night should come with least breakfast, and the only breakfast we had there was kind of sad,really small portion for everything and they dont even have refill for milk.

家族旅行で利用せていただきました。お風呂は広めの浴場でサウナもあり。箱風呂は初めての体験で、ゆっくりと満喫できました。お食事は夕・朝ともとても豪華で一つ一つがしっかり美味しかったです。 お部屋でものんびり過ごせましたが、足音等が少し聞こえるかな。 総合的に満足できるお宿だと思います。 1泊２日でしたが、大変お世話になりました。

The staff were great and the food delicious. the room was large and comfortable.

The walls were very thin. I was kept awake by snoring from the next room on the left and conversation from the room on the right. The sound proofing was very poor and I did not sleep well because of this. I really shouldn’t be able to hear snoring from the next room through the walls.

久しぶりの温泉で楽しみにしていましたが、お風呂の説明が十分でなく露天に入り損ねました。そこが残念です。 この宿には露天の温泉があります！ 水着を着てはいるスパの他に、4か所温泉があり、日替わりで男女入れ替え制です。その説明がなく、気づいた時には翌日で、露天は男性用になってしまいました。 建物は年期が入っているいますが、落ち着いた雰囲気です。お食事はどれも良いお出汁の味がして、噂通り美味しかったです。量もやや多めですが、満足しました。 配膳をしてくれるタイ人の女性もきれいで、感じが良かったです。

建物は少し古くなっているが綺麗に維持されていたので気にならなかったです。浴室は快適で、温水プールがあり楽しめました。ヴァラエティに富んだ料理も美味しかったです。

料理一つ一つおいしかったです。

Nice quiet little hotel in Nikko. River view is nice and the breakfast was good.

食事は隣と距離もありとても静かに頂けました。量も十分でかなりお腹が苦しくなりました笑。スタッフの方もとても感じが良かったです。 お風呂はぬるめや熱めがあり、またたち湯、寝湯、箱風呂など色々なお風呂があり本当に楽しめました。

皆さんが言っているように、食事が大変おいしかったです。 建物は少々年季が入っているのは、和風の飾りが雰囲気良く、何より食事の内容と宿泊代がカバーしてくれたかなと思います。

サービスは良い 禁煙室だが、恐らく以前は喫煙室として使われていた部屋なのか、少しタバコの匂いが残っていた。空気清浄機など常備してくれてると良かった

We signed up for the shabu-shabu dinner course, and it did not disappoint—it was one of the best meals I've had at a hotel in Japan, in terms of quality, variety and amount. (None of us ate much breakfast the next morning.) The hotel building is a bit aged, but very nice inside and well-maintained. The staff was helpful, and the young woman who served us at dinner was very professional (each group had their own server). 3 mins. walk from the hotel was a stairway down to the adjacent river, as good a nature get-away as you're likely to ask for. It took us about 30 mins. by car to get to the Toshogun area, but we preferred staying out of the main tourist area.

先日まで休館されていたそうです。コロナ禍でしばらく旅行を控えていましたが、長女の受験も落ち着き、今回、本ホテルを利用致しました。久しぶりにおもてなしを実感することができました。

コロナ禍の中、客数が極端に少ないにも関わらず、十分な接客を丁寧にして頂いた。夫婦二人で満足させて頂きました。ありがとう！

Negative and positive points: +: the personnel we had (young persons working hard there) were absolutely lovely with us. Service was perfect +: the surrounding location is great. Too bad it's becoming desert and the quality is fading away. +: I recommend to visit the nice 'World Tobu Square' not so far away by car. -: after experiencing many ryokan now, this one was the worst in terms of price/quality: very highly priced with a very poor quality of meals. It was around $100/ person for the food but the quality of the dinner was worth $12 and tasted so bad and was very common like a meal you'd have in a common restaurant. Meals were a complete joke. There were very few customers there while we went in June.

ウェルカムのときにお茶菓子を出してくれるなどとてもいい気分で過ごせました。部屋からの景観も良かったです。ベビーカーを押していたのですが、階段を経由する部屋だったのが少し残念でした。朝ごはんのときも子供に対して朗らかに接してくださいました。全般的にとても素敵なお宿です。

Isshinkan offers a great Japanese onsen experience. The hotel is a very short taxi ride or bus ride from Kinugawa-onsen station (making it quite easy to get around), and it has a very comfortable and family-run feel, even though it's a good size place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We managed fine without being able to speak Japanese. The food (the set dinners and breakfasts, if you opt for them) are very delicious and copious, with many local and seasonal specialties. There were a lot of onsen bathing options, which we thoroughly used and enjoyed. They also offer good massage, karaoke (if you're inclined) and comfortable futon beds. It was very relaxing and excellent for our family of four -- very family friendly.

Nice onsen hotel located 15-20min walk to kinugawa station. Easy to take bus 5 from station (pay 190yen and not covered by nikko pass) and will reach hotel in 7min. Nice ornaments and decorations around the hotel. Breakfast is nice and enjoy the comfort of the function rooms. Onsen/bath is great in this hotel with good amenities. Would visit again for the onsen!

One of the typical Onsen (hot-spring) Hotel with my non-Japanese partner to have his first time Onsen experience. It was all in all wonderful and we both had a fun stay including the yummy dinner & breakfast. Totally recommend to hire your private bathing slot for 50min if you’re couple or family staying together. The local sakes were quite tasty and the dinner & breakfast using some of local ingredients. Better be hungry as the amount of food are more than enough! There’s a heated swimming pool as well as normal combination onsen spas with good water. I used the box spa and it was quite funny but also a very nice new experience. After having Onsen time, my skin and hair were perfectly soft and glowing. The hotel offers a short shuttle ride from Kinugawa-Onsen station and probably better use this service as it would be a good 20min walk to get there. The hotel staff members were all kind with good cares. Female guests could choose one of their colourful yukata (a kimono-style PJs) and they’re all very pretty. The only down side at this hotel was that everything was a bit dated. They were all clean but some decors you don’t really wanna see in a bright daylight, to be honest. We stayed from Sunday to Monday and it was very quiet. Partly because it was an alarming typhoon weekend, maybe. It was nice because not too many tourists were staying. Depends on the price you’d pay, but I could certainly recommend this place for your first time Onsen spa experience for a night or two. 週末の日光・鬼怒川旅行で1泊お世話になりました。大型台風通過の影響か、宿泊客は殆ど居なかったように思います。宿の方は皆親切で朝晩のお食事はとても美味しかったです。女性用の色浴衣サービスも種類が豊富で楽しめました。お風呂は質の良い温泉水で肌もすべすべになり、骨休めに来た甲斐がありました。貸切風呂は、予約をすればかなり遅い時間でも入浴が可能で、雰囲気も非常に良かったです。ただし、一般浴場も含めですが、客室や建物のあちこちにかなりの年期が入っており全体的に古びているのは否めません。徒歩で鬼怒川温泉駅から宿までは若干の距離があります。荷物などがある場合はお迎えのバスサービス等を利用した方が良いかもしれません。鬼怒子の湯などの公共の足湯が宿から直ぐの所にあり、宿をチェックアウト後も周辺をぶらぶらして結構楽しめました。サービスの良さやスタッフのお心遣い、食事の美味しさなどを考慮すれば、1泊(2食)は充分に楽しめる宿なのでお薦めします。

古いからかボイラーの音が凄かったです。隣の親子が夜遅くまで走りまわっている音も筒抜けでなかなか眠れません。

居心地の良い旅館だと思います。 鬼怒川温泉駅からは、それなりの距離があり、 徒歩圏内には足湯と土産屋が1軒ある程度なので 到着後にのんびり過ごしました。

Pro:Hot spring area were pretty nice and clean. Con : I choosed none smoking room but the room smells, air condition in my room were poor and weak.

Wir hatten ein Vierbettzimmer im traditionellen Stil mit Abendessen. Wurden freundlich mit Begrüßungstee empfangen und zum Abendessen erstklassig verwöhnt mit Shabu Shabu und anderen Leckereien. Der Komfort kann mit den für Europäer üblichen westlichen Hotels und deren Matratzen nicht ganz mithalten, aber dafür bekommt man eine absolut liebenswerte, authentische Erfahrung japanischer Gastfreundschaft. Uneingeschränkt empfohlen!

快適に過ごせました。

ホテル側も口コミを見て対応しているようで、施設自体は古いのかもしれません（トイレのかんぬき錠は御愛嬌）が、スタッフの手作り品など、統一感のある暖かい雰囲気を醸し出しています。日曜の宿泊ですいていたのが幸いでした。ポイントは、チェックイン時に夕食と朝食の時間を決めること。食事は暖簾で仕切られた部屋で頂きますが、時間をずらしてあるので30分ほどは隣席には誰もいない状態でゆっくり食事できました。お風呂は源泉かけ流し100%と掲示があり、すごい流量のお湯が溢れていましたが、夜は00:00まで、朝は5:00から9:00までと時間が限られているので、中途半端な時間に食事を設定すると、お風呂でくつろぐ時間が限られてしまう点、ご注意を。

駅から少し歩きますが宿はとても快適でした。雪が降る中で傘を貸してくれたり、フロントの方がとても親切でした！ また機会があれば泊まりたいです

The hotel has nice view of the mountains, river and snow. The hotel is well decorated with handicraft and room the traditional japanese style with onsen. The staff are very friendly and helpful esp 崔新荣 who can speak japanese, english and chinese. Meals have to make your request and the meals are delicious traditional japanese set meals.

Overall a good traditional Japanese ryokan experience for a good price. Lobby From the moment we arrived, we were received with a bowl of green tea and delicious mango Japanese sweets. The view from the lobby lounge was beautiful with the snow along the river. Room The Japanese style room was quite large and comfortable with a great view over the river as well. Just don't leave the window open, because there was a sign that bugs and even monkeys could climb into the room. Onsen The large baths were very refreshing. The best by far was the outdoor bath that looked over the river. However this bath was not available the next morning, as they changed men's and women's baths from morning to evening. Food The protions for dinner were quite large, and included many local specialties. Howeveru, drinks were not included and were relatively overpriced. Breakfast the next morning was very traditional and included both warm and cold dishes.

お風呂が狭い。ゆっくりできるような温泉だと思っていたのに、近所の銭湯レベル。 晩御飯も特段おいしくはなく、値段はそこそこ高い。 接客も中国人？が多く話が噛み合わない事がありました。

一泊兩食，非常滿意，酒店位置較偏，不在大街，搜索需時，附近沒有景點，安心休息。

若干歩きます。ただ景色が良いのでそんなに苦ではないかもしれません。従業員の方々はまだ外国の方が少し多めでたまに慣れてないのかなといったところはありますが、そんなに不便を感じませんでした。朝ごはんは豪華です。満足しましまた。

急に予約したにも関わらず、よく対応してくれた。特に、スタッフの接し方が良かった。料理も満足のいくものだった。

朝食後、移動してのコーヒーは面倒でした。 移動が面倒な人もいるのでは？ 大浴場の備品が色々あり良かった。

A lovely onsen hotel in the hidden gem resort town of Kinugawa. Very unusually for Japan, it manages to offer a genuine and authentic Japanese onsen experience without feeling run down or broken. The hotel is well maintained and clean, but manages to maintain an old school Japanese vibe - a true rarity in this country. While not exactly cheap, the Japanese set course is amazing, and showcases the best of washoku dining, at a much lower price than anywhere to be found in Tokyo. Indeed, catching the train from Tokyo and staying the weekend at this hotel can provide the washoku experience for cheaper than a night in Ginza. There is also an excellent onsen in the basement. Although the staff are not fluent English speakers, they are friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English. The rooms are clean and spacious with a lovely view of Kinugawa gorge, although there are no beds, only futons. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to go off the beaten track and experience a very high quality example of the traditional Japanese onsen resort.

Great hospitality provided by the staff. Very ideal for foreigners like us to sample Japanese culture. Our family of 3 adults spent 2 nights & enjoyed it very much.
