Reviewed Oct 8, 2025El personal es muy amable, Juan me recibió muy atento y contento aún cuando llegue a las 12 de la noche. El resto del personal fue muy amigable y me ayudaron a ir a lugares cercanos y no muy caros. Este es un hotel pequeño pero la gente que trabaja ahi es lo que hacen el hotel. Viaje dile y ellos me hicieron sentir muy segura y cuidada.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2025The best thing about this hotel is its location - just a short two- to three-minute walk from the main square, Jardín Allende. The room I had was dated, with minimal attention given to the interior design, making it feel uninviting. The floors, which appear to be ceramic tiles, are cold to walk on. Additionally, there is no sound insulation whatsoever, meaning that conversations and noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms are clearly audible, as if they are coming from inside the room itself. The listing stated, "Available in all rooms: Free WiFi," but in my room (Room #4), the signal was so weak that it constantly dropped, making it nearly unusable. Another odd design in this room was a shaft right above the toilet that extends all the way to the top of the building. Upper floors have windows facing this shaft, and if someone were to open them, they would have a direct view to the toilet on the lowest floor - not ideal for privacy. The only window in the bedroom also faced this shaft, meaning there was no natural light or any kind of view. Overall, the hotel’s price did not reflect its value.

Bank told me the fraud was made in San Miguel at that same time. They had to cancel my card and now I have to wait to receive a new card by mail.

Reviewed Dec 2, 2019La ubicación fue perfecta, le falta mucho servicio a las habitaciones, no había jabón de manos, papel no ponían rollos extras pedimos varias veces, no contaban con terminal bancaria para pagar, ya al final pasamos una mala noche con unos vecinos que llegaron en un mal estado de madrugada y no logramos dormir ese día.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2019Una experiencia desagradable en este hotel. La limpieza fue terrible, entramos y vimos bolsas negras que parecían basura, en la habitación las cortinas manchadas y chorreadas. La ducha estaba rota y tronaba regular el agua caliente y fría era muy complicado. El sonido de los presurizadores para que el agua llegue a la ducha, lavabo y wc es terrible. El ruido de la calle se escucha demasiado en la habitación, la supuesta tranquilidad que anuncian no es buena. La relación precio-habitación no se refleja. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena pero está desaprovechada, cuentan con estacionamiento fuera del hotel, pero no te ayudan a encontrarlo.

Solo como sugerencia creo que deberían considerar realizar un tipo convenio con algún lugar de comida local en donde por lo menos el precio por noche incluya el desayuno ya que por el tamaño del hotel no tiene restaurante. Fuera de eso, todo está EXCELENTE!!! LO RECOMIENDO!!!

The hotel was clean and the employees were very attentive! There was a little problem with our shower but we informed them so that they will hopefully get it fixed right away.

Reviewed Feb 15, 2019I have travelled eight months of the year, for 20 years, and this is the first hotel l have ever complained about. The management was difficult and manipulative. My bathroom was in the basement, there were cracked & dirty tiles. The only window that faced a blank wall, did not open. There were no towels. The lock on the door was not secure. I felt unsafe. The mattress and sheets were comfortable. The management was defensive, do not expect help from them. Very poor value.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2018If you expect a modern hotel with wide halls and air conditioning, pay more for these and stay on the newer edges of the town. This hotel is one of many converted old homes. It has only a few rooms, but they have been well converted and fairly recently. The Mexican side of my family loved the extensive carved wood furnishings. Room 5 on highest level did not have any windows and so stayed very warm. This is good in the winter but bad the rest of the time. Book early in warmer months to get the rooms with terraces. The desert gets cool at night so the rooms with windows also can. The parking included in the room rate is about a 15 minute walk. There are several closer places if you want to pay more. Do expect the streets close to the square to be closed so you may have to make a wide circle around the square to get to this hotel from the north or west. On the other hand, walking to the square and main cathedral is 5 to 10 minutes and another 5 minutes to the less expensive market.
