Top Floor Colosseo Guesthouse

The property is very conveniently located within walking distance to the Colosseum, Forum, and other sites of interest. The building looks a little rough from the outside, but the area seems pretty safe and is fairly quiet at night. The staff are only there during daytime hours so we didn't see them much but when we did they were very friendly. The air conditioning worked very well. The room was very clean and had adequate storage. The bed was comfortable but could have used more pillows. We didn't get up in time for the breakfast so can't comment about it. There is a rooftop area where you can take in a view of the sunset. There are a couple of Metro stations within easy walking distance.

For the price, an included breakfast would be good. The tiny elevator was like a sauna.

Valeria was an amazing host and made sure that we had answers to all our questions. She made sure that our check-in was seem less as we arrived later than expected but using what's app she made sure we could still get in and out when we wanted.

The location near the colosseum was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. Rooms were well maintained and super clean. A/C was nice and cold. Perfect after a long day walking around rome.

The water pressure wasn't the best on the shower and hot water wasn't consistently working but all fixable I'm sure

Nasz pobyt był naprawdę udany i z czystym sumieniem polecamy to miejsce. Wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie. Pokój był bardzo dobrze wyposażony – znajdowała się w nim lodówka, zestaw do parzenia kawy, klimatyzacja, suszarka do włosów, ręczniki, kosmetyki oraz wystarczająca liczba wieszaków. Dodatkowym atutem było codzienne uzupełnianie wody oraz wymiana ręczników, co znacząco podnosiło komfort pobytu. Pokój był czysty, zadbany i bardzo dobrze przygotowany na nasz przyjazd. Śniadania były obfite, smaczne i urozmaicone – każdy mógł znaleźć coś dla siebie i dobrze rozpocząć dzień przed zwiedzaniem miasta. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje obsługa oraz kontakt z właścicielką. Pani Valeria to odpowiednia osoba na odpowiednim miejscu – rzeczowa, pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta i gotowa odpowiedzieć na każde pytanie. Skorzystaliśmy również z jej uprzejmości przy organizacji powrotu na lotnisko – bez problemu zamówiła dla nas taksówkę, co było dla nas dużym ułatwieniem. Ogromnym plusem jest również lokalizacja. To doskonała baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Rzymu – do Koloseum i stacji metra linii B można dojść w około 5–7 minut, a do stacji metra linii A w około 10–15 minut. Dodatkowym udogodnieniem jest sklep Carrefour znajdujący się na parterze tego samego budynku, dzięki czemu zakupy można zrobić dosłownie w kilka chwil. To miejsce sprawiło, że mogliśmy skupić się wyłącznie na cieszeniu się pobytem i zwiedzaniem Rzymu, nie martwiąc się o żadne kwestie organizacyjne. Jeśli ponownie odwiedzimy Rzym, bez wahania wybierzemy właśnie ten obiekt. Gorąco polecamy! 😻

le personnel est super accueillant et toujours dispo en cas de questions. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Les chambres correspondent parfaitement aux descriptions. Valeria nous a accueilli chaleureusement et nous avons clairement hâte de revenir !

Location superb. Warmest of welcome from Valeria and her Team. Our room was spotless and seemed brand new: shower excellent and bedding [especially the pillows] very comfortable.Daily cleaning and fresh towels supplied. Great to have access to small kitchen area and coffee making facilities. Very helpful to have the fridge in our room. Loved the recommendations for restaurants [some literally just a minute away] Can highly recommend and can't thank Valeria and her Team enough.

Precioso alojamiento en el corazón de Roma. Desde nuestra habitación teníamos vista al Coliseo. Zona tranquila, habitación amplia con baño súper cómodo. Espacio suficiente para colocar todas las pertenencias. Justo debajo hay un Carrefour para poder comprar cómodamente. No se escucha nada de ruido ni del exterior ni del propio alojamiento. Nos han puesto una cuna para nuestro bebé y ya incluso antes de llegar se preocuparon por nosotros y porque nuestra estancia fuese lo más idónea posible. Súper limpio y nuestra anfitriona, Valeria, sin duda lo mejor. Es encantadora y nos ha tratado genial 🙂

Amazing and friendly staff to check in, very helpful with great information. The location is great, very central. For a small bedroom + bathroom it is great value for money.

We had some issues with the toilet,where the flush would stay stuck and cause the float to keep running. The air conditioning unit also dripped down the walls and wet a lot of the floor / our clothes by accident. Staff were great about the problems.

Primero quiero destacar que coincido con el resto de opiniones en la amabilidad del personal y con la buena ubicación del alojamiento.

Pero mi reseña no puede ser positiva porque tuve un problema, nos dejamos olvidado un aparato médico y no hemos recibido una correcta gestión por parte del alojamiento. No es un hotel con 50 habitaciones, por eso destacamos la cercanía del personal en ciertas cosas, pero si tienes 4-5 habitaciones debes dar un trato más cercano, se presupone así cuando vas a este tipo de alojamientos. Lo que dejamos olvidado es suficientemente grande para verlo al hacer la habitación (recogimos las maletas al final del día y nadie nos dijo nada). Así que nuestra experiencia no fue satisfactoria, las cosas van bien cuando no hay problemas pero cuando hay incidencias es cuando se ve y se demuestra la manera en la que se responde y se trata al cliente.

I shared a twin room with my daughter and thought it was smaller than the pictures showed, but very clean which is a huge positive.

Localização estratégica. 3 minutos do Coliseu e , do metrô. Tem supermercado muito próximo! Apartamento reformadinho, tudo muito bem limpo e cuidado! Ótimo custo/beneficio.

Superbe guesthouse. L'arrivée y est très bien indiquée. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le personnel est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment délicieux et en bonne quantité.

Seul petit bémol : l'insonorisation des chambres. Parfaite sur l'extérieur mais on entend beaucoup par la porte, notamment ce qui se passe au niveau de la réception. Heureusement, comme il n'y a que quelques chambres, cela n'a pas été très gênant durant notre séjour

I had a great stay at Top Floor Colosseo Guesthouse in Rome. The experience was even better than expected. The room was cleaned daily, everything was very tidy, and the location is excellent—just a short walk from the Colosseum, close to public transport and the metro, and within walking distance of the city center. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Wir wurden bei der Ankunft sehr nett begrüßt und man hat uns auch viele Tipps zum Aufenthalt gegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen, man ist recht schnell zu Fuß, aber auch mit dem Bus den Sehenswürdigkeiten.

We loved our host Valeria, we couldn't of wished for a better host. She was enthusiastic friendly, knowledgeable and all round a lovely person. The rooms were clean and as we would hope. We didn't spend long in the room due to the holiday being action packed but the room and location was ideal. 5 minute walk from the colleseum also.

We liked the location, public transport was close by for the metro and bus transport literally outside the door. Nice restaurants within easy walking distance and finally but not least lovely reception staff.

Af en toe, vooral ‘s avonds, gehorig. Goed te horen dat er kinderen in een andere kamer huilt of als mensen binnenkomen. Geen grote last van gehad.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen. Mit dem ÖV erreicht man die Unterkunft von Rom Termini in etwa 15 Minuten. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich (danke, Valeria). Direkt zu Beginn wurde wir mit einer Karte und Erklärungen, welche Monumente sich besuchen lassen. Auch die Restaurantempfehlung war für uns eine Erleichterung.

Das Fenster war zwar gross, jedoch wurde es im Zimmer nach dem Duschen recht feucht und stickig. Unser Fenster zeigte zum Innenhof, folglich war das Zimmer nicht sehr hell.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, from the time we arrived till we left they took excellent care of us…. Valarie helped arrange our first tour and great advice for tours to do on our own, breakfast in room arrived exactly when it was supposed to very filling and delicious… a perfect gem of a unit able to walk easily to the majority of the sites…. We will be back

Zeer goed gelegen. De host heeft verschillende locaties in de stad, dus goed het adres checken. Wel zeer vriendelijk bijgestaan zelfs in de late uren. De toegang gebeurt via codes, geen persoonlijke ontvangst als je laat toekomt. Voor de locatie dicht bij het colosseum had ik wel mijn oordopjes ter beschikking. Vrij drukke straat met veel horeca. Maar zeker goed doenbaar.

We absolutely loved our stay at Colosseo Guesthouse. From the outset, communication was excellent. Valeria sent detailed instructions the day before our arrival, which were very easy to follow. We arrived at 1am and everything had been prepared perfectly for us. The room was very clean, and we could see the Colosseum through the huge double windows. There were also two bottles of water waiting for us in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The location was excellent, with a metro station just a 5-minute walk to the left and a bus/tram stop only 2 minutes to the right. If you prefer to walk, the Colosseum is about 5 minutes away along a long, flat road. As we were out exploring most of the time, we did not meet the host until our final day, but she was so lovely. She asked about our trip and gave us some great dinner recommendations. We could easily have stayed chatting all evening. The room was cleaned daily, and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. If you are looking for a clean, friendly, well-located, and reasonably priced place to stay with a wonderful host, you really could not do better.

Eine super Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super nett und zuvorkommend. Zudem immer bedacht, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Vielen Dank an alle an der Stelle. Auch war alles sehr sauber. Zur Info, man muss in den linken Aufzug steigen und in den 5. Stock fahren :)

Valeria is a wonderful host. She was very helpful not only with the room but also with my questions about the city. She was very friendly. Even though I was traveling alone, I was given a huge room to make sure I was comfortable. I had to wait at the entrance because my luggage was heavy. I was worried about security because I was alone, but I had no problems. I was able to contact the hotel staff at any time, day or night. The sheets weren't very clean, but I had my own sheets and used them. Some reviews mentioned a problem with the hot water; it was cold after using the jacuzzi because a lot of water was used, but it warmed up again after a maximum of an hour. I never had a problem with the water getting cold while showering. The room was cleaned every day, and none of my personal belongings were touched. The location is incredibly close to everything. It's a maximum of 10 minutes walk to all public transport and all the sights you want to see. You can see the Colosseum and the Roman Forum as soon as you leave the hotel. There's a Carrefour right next to the hotel, and it's open until 10 PM. I was extremely pleased with my stay. They even came to check me out and escorted me to the door, and we had a great time chatting.

The sheets and towels could have been cleaner, and disposable slippers could have been provided.
