The staff at Domus Helena was most helpful and pleasant. The location was walkable to the Colosseum, Forum and Temple of Venus and many dining options.

The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also quite good.

Great safe location - lots of decent places to eat and drink close by. Accommodation is quite basic but extremely clean and comfortable- staff were excellent.

We arrived much earlier than expected and they accommodated us very quickly. The room is basic but exceptionally clean and well laid out. Security is very good with 24hr reception monitoring secure entry. The staff are bilingual and all seem very experienced and knowledgeable regards the locale.

В моем номере было тусклое освещение и ещё из за того ,что на окнах решётки было темно даже утром .

The perfect location to go everywhere in Rome. Close to subway and Roma Termini. The personal were very nice and help with everything you need. The room was simple but with all the basics you need and very clean.

The only missing thing in this really hot summer was a frigobar.

El hotel estuvo muy bien. El desayuno fue muy variado y de buena calidad, las instalaciones estaban limpias y la ubicación es excelente para moverse por la zona. Además, el personal fue muy amable y atento durante la estancia. Sin duda, una buena opción para hospedarse.

A fost foarte bine, curățenie, mic dejun, pat foarte confortabil, camera în sine dar și baia.

Удобное расположение рядом с вокзалом (15 минут пешком), рядом с метро (5 минут). Очень дружелюбный персонал, все объяснили и помогли. Чистый номер. Есть продуктовый магазин рядом.

Хлипкие розетки (ванна) не рискнула использовать с большим блоком питания (личный фен). Не поняла, как открывать окна в номере.

This was my second time staying at Domus Helena. It is conveniently located for exploring the city. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of choices. The staff were also very friendly.

As I visited during the hot summer months, having a small fridge in the room would have been helpful. In Room 201, the lighting was a little too yellow and dim for my preference. As I had some work to do, I preferred the bright, strong lighting in Room 204.

Excelente la comodidad de la cama y amplitud del baño, que tenía aire acondicionado, zona tranquila para descansar lejos del bullicio de los puntos màs turísticos y muy cerca de la estación Roma Termini, a 10 min caminando. El desayuno súper completo y variado! Muy recomendable. Me dejaron entrar media hora antes del horario de check in y fue genial pues venía de un vuelo muy largo.

Que tenía solo 1 shower gel para aseo general, no jabones ni shampoo de cabello, solo a modo de mejora.

Todos os dias um serviço de limpeza excelente,os funcionários do Hotel sempre dispostos a ajudar em tudo e um pequeno almoço espetacular,a localização é muito boa próxima de tudo,com certeza que sempre que alguém me perguntar vai ser neste Hotel que vou recomendar. La colazione è molto varia, tanti prodotti dolci, yogurt, cereali diversi, prodotti salati, succhi e bevande calde buoni, anche prodotti senza glutine. Camera, sala colazione e ambienti di passaggio puliti. Televisione con schermo abbastanza grande. Oltre all'armadio, c'erano diversi ripiani dove appoggiare i vestiti.

La ventola del bagno non si è attivata. Per entrare in struttura ci sono solo gradini senza rampa per trascinare le valigie. Il bagno non aveva il bidet.

Le terrazze sono un po' trascurate.

Everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything you need is nearby, including the metro and shops. The city center is nearby, so you can walk there. The breakfasts were excellent, too.

Very affordable and utilities provided in the room are perfect and very convenient. The staff ate extremely nice and helpful. Totally worth the money.

Die zentrale Lage war wunderbar. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Sogar glutenfreies Brot, Milchalternativen und Erfrischungstücher waren da. Super!

Dass ich wieder abreisen musste. Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

A fantastic hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Hotel is absolutely spotless and is in an incredible location in the heart of the city. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Everything was fine, but I wish there were a hot water jug and cups in the room. Apparently, you can borrow them at them reception, but it was too late. A small fridge would also be a bonus.

Bem localizado, bairro tranquilo, funcionários atenciosos. Apesar do check ser tarde, a possibilidade de trancar as bagagens de forma gratuita vale a pena para quem chega cedo. Quarto confortável, ar condicionado bom e banheiro ótimo. Recepção 24h com porta automática.

Para mim, poderiam trocar as chaves do quarto para cartões e ter frigobar no quarto. Ter que deixar a chave na recepção sempre que sair.

Location minutes from metro station line A to most historical sites. Value for money, walking distance from Termini train station which is great low cost transport to airport option as Uber and taxis are very expensive. Mimimalist but has all ammenities needed, highly recommend for short stays, family and ladies travelling alone. Really good breakfast included. I highly recomment Domus Helena. If you expect luxury this is not the place, also non smoking and very silent, air conditioning too.

Kaffee eine Katastrophe

Ho soggiornato una sola notte e mi sono trovata bene. Stanza singola superior adatta alle mie esigenze, pulita e in ordine. Personale gentilissimo e colazione normale con parecchie varietà per tutti i gusti. Presente anche cibo senza glutine e bevande vegetali.

Il letto aveva un piumino e non le lenzuola leggere. Questa è l'unica cosa che cambierei nel periodo estivo.

Breakfast was great, the place even has a sperate room to iron clothes which was very useful, the room was clean. The staff was always helpful and friendly, close to metro station. Very close to the park where you can have a couple of drinks in the evening and enjoy DJ.

The bathroom door literally didn’t close and it was impossible to lock it. The room walls were very outdated, the clothes hangers had sticking nails which felt unsafe. The AC is situated in a place where you get cold so we basically just kept the blinds down

Loved the 24hr reception. All Staff were fabulous especially the ever informative Andreas. Info on everything from ‘in house’, places to see, laundry, airport transfers, big bus queries, Conad supermarket just around the corner, churches, and the lists goes on. End result; we felt welcomed and secure as the external parts of the area felt a bit out of place for this accommodation. Felt safe as the street on which DH is on is dirty and the depressing graffiti was hard not too miss. But with Andreas welcome we were confident we were in the right place.

Would have liked a meal in the evening, basics like Lasagna, or a casserole, or minestrone soup, funny how even in the heat, a light healthy soup can revive you, with either a cup of tea, that ‘can get nowhere but Rome’ coffee, hot chocolate, or a juice, as by the time we journeyed all day it would have been great to have evening meals sorted as your adventures can make you very tired.

The bed was rather hard. I've stayed in many hotels and airbnbs, this was definitely in the lower end in terms of comfort. Well, if you like hard mattresses, this is for you!

В нашем номере 507 была большая терраса, что скрашивала пребывание в отеле. Очень приятный персонал. Круглосуточная стойка регистрации. Безопасно. Рядом станция метро. Уборка хорошая.

Очень аскетично. Нет чайника, холодильника, халатов, тапочек, практически нет средств для ухода, скромный тюбик с гелем для душа и мытья головы одновременно. Жесткий матрас. Стены в номере все в черных полосах от чемоданов. Полотенца серые застиранные, они чистые , но пахнут очень неприятно. Вряд ли я еще вернусь сюда.

Well placed near Coliseum. Clean and breakfast was nice. Comfortable. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Was not bad for a wheelchair, but still have small obstacles to enter from the ramp in the back door. Inside everything was good for a wheelchair. The adapted room and bathroom need to be more adapted (no seet in the shower).

The breakfast was great, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.

Крайно разочаровани. Бях запазила стая пригодена за човек на инвалидна количка. Но се оказа, че това подобие на хотел няма такива условия реално. Няма рампа, слагаха книги за да може да влезе количката. В стаята, момичето не можеше да ползва банята по никакъв начин...нито до тоалетна, нито душ, нито мивка. Просто защото беше супер тясно. А държа да отбележа, че нейната количка е възможно най тясната 60 см., последен модел Плего, направена точно за пътувания. Едвам взе ъгъла от вратата за да влезе в стаята, която имаше ужасна стара застояла миризма...ухание което те удря много Гадно. Прозореца, можеше едвам да се отвори. Леглото твърдо като камък. Добре, че имаше тоалетна до рецепцията, за да може да слиза и ползва. Кошмарна безсънна нощ. Една болнична стая е хиляда пъти по добре. Закуската е добра, но някак си не мисля, че е ок, на всяка маса буквално да има малко кошче за боклук. Имаше хора, които ги местеха по столовете. Неприятна гледка. Да споделя и друго. Първоначално по погрешка наша, бяхме резервирали дата но с объркана година(следващата) при корекция ни взеха 80 евро доплащане, въпреки че стаите бяха около 120 евро, ние платихме 206 евро за този яд. Всичко мога да преглътна, но не и това, че нямаше достъп за моята приятелка на инвалидна количка, какъвто беше гарантиран. Добре, че бяхме за една нощ. Надявам се повече хора да го прочетат, и повече никога да не се подлъгват особенно в нейното положение. Това е недопустимо за човек с двигателни увреждания. Жестоко подвеждане. Не бихме стъпили там повече, дори и безплатно да е . Надявам, се да махнат опцията за хора, като нея, защото не е реална и да не подвеждат други. Досега винаги съм била много доволна от всички наети хотели през букинг.

Hôtel très calme avec un bon accueil. La propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain. La literie est vraiment très confortable. Petit déjeuner varié. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. La terrasse pour les fumeurs est appréciable. Merci pour nous avoir donné de bonnes adresses de restaurants! Et ne changez pas de gel douche + shampoing, il sent trop bon!

Pour le petit déjeuner, du pain frais genre baguettes serait appréciable. Et les yaourts seraient meilleurs s'ils étaient réfrigérés et non à température ambiante. Les viennoiseries sont un peu trop riches et sucrées, je préfèrerais des croissants et pains au chocolat tout simples. Malgré tout, le grand choix fait que le petit déjeuner est satisfaisant. Davantage de cintres dans la penderie serait un plus.

It was very clean and welcoming. The public areas were spacious. They had a common room and a lovely breakfast with lots of variety including non- dairy milk. Room and bathroom spacious, comfortable bed. Felt relaxed there!

Coming back at night had to take a taxi as area around there were dark and narrow streets.

イタリア初滞在で移動しやすいテルミニ駅周辺にしましたが、結果よかったです。 ホテルのスタッフの男性の方も私が英語が出来なかったですが、わかりやすく説明してくれて助かりました。 部屋もすごくシンプルでしたが、必要最低限あって過ごしやすかった。 近くにすごく人気なトラットリアがあるので行ってみたけど、おいしかったです。

扉付近に近付くと、結構音や話し声が漏れやすいので、少し気になるぐらいでしたけど、それぐらいで過ごしやすかったです。

The hotel is very clinical. It feels more like an office than a hotel, and lacks character. A few plants or other decorative items may help.

Me gustó mucho la atención, limpieza, tranquilidad y seguridad. El desayuno esta muy bueno. Es un hotel muy funcional con lo necesario para descansar y bien conectado. Me gustó que está cerca a Termini, a una distancia que está muy bien para ir a pie y en zona que la consideré muy segura

Tener en cuenta que la habitación sencilla para una persona es bastante angosta, revisa las dimensiones para que decidas si está bien para ti.

This accommodation should not be listed among hotels on Booking under any classification. It is neither a hotel nor a hostel. It feels more like staying in a seminary, where you are required to leave and collect your room key every day. I can imagine that pilgrims or seminarians might find this type of accommodation perfectly suitable and in line with their expectations. However, as a solo traveler, it was nowhere near what I was looking for. Had I known this in advance,or even suspected it,I would have chosen differently. Unfortunately, I didn't read through all 2,500 reviews, so I completely missed this aspect before booking.

Foi muito boa nossa experiência nesse hotel. A limpeza impecável. Funcionários gentis, o quarto bem espaço. A localização é distante do centro histórico, mas usávamos metro ou a bicicleta elétrica para se locomover. As vezes a pé. Tem uma estação de metrô muito próxima que facilita, 5min do hotel. Vitorino Emanuelle. Excelente Bairro.

O único ponto negativo é que achei os travesseiros e cama levemente desconfortáveis.
