Phenomenonal location and even friendlier staff. They helped us organise a driver from canguu and to ubud with no dramas. The nearby snorkeling is breathe taking. Definitely would stay here again.

Le logement est correct et conforme à la description. Sa situation en bord de plage (lipah) est idéale mais du coup éloignée du centre du village (compter 15 minutes de voiture). Bcp de bons warungs à proximité du logement. Piscine agréable et serviettes fournies.

Douches vieillissantes avec odeur d’humidité. Petit déjeuner correct mais pas le meilleur qu’on ait eu sur Bali Route en travaux rendant l’accès au logement compliqué avec trous ++

La piscina infinita está genial y el personal es muy atento y con ganas de ayudar. Esta limpio. Pero no volvería por el precio.

El desayuno es bastante básico, variado pero no es bueno, supervivencia. Y las instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento.

Pris chambre 4 personnes et chambre de luxe c’était top emplacement, la vue est magnifique proche de plusieurs warung et de la plage.

Beautiful location, clean comfy rooms and the staff were wonderful.

Mooi appartement vlak aan het strand van Lipah. 3 min lopen naar het strand. Knap eigen zwembad en het ontbijt is niet geheel uitgebreid maar prima te doen. 2 restaurants vlakbij het appartement voor lunch en diner. Restaurant Vienna aan het strand en Restaurant Sails, 5 min de weg omhoog lopen.

Not a lot of space for clothes

We had a very disappointing stay in Amed. The property is full of lizards, and the staff was not helpful at all in getting them out. One night, there were so many lizards in our room making so much noise that we honestly thought dogs were fighting outside. When we asked for help, a staff member came to the room, spent just two minutes doing absolutely nothing, and simply told us, 'It's okay, go to sleep.' We couldn't sleep the entire night because of the constant noise and because they were crawling all over the ceiling and under the bed. It was the worst night of our trip to Bali. Even in Ubud, which is right in the middle of the jungle, we have never stayed at a property with a lizard problem.

La vue sur mer, la bonne taille de la villa (2 grandes chambres lits doubles et salles de douche attenantes), la gentillesse et serviabilité du personnel. La grande piscine à débordement donnant vue sur mer. Le calme du complexe des 5 villas, chacune indépendantes avec sa terrasse, son espace et l'impression d'être seuls au final. Le petit-déjeuner très généreux et avec 3 choix de formules et toujours des jus ou fruits frais.

Les câbles en hauteur devant la résidence, gênant la vue sur mer. Quelques fourmis envahissantes parfois, mais vite évacuées et traité par le personnel. Il n'est pas possible de dormir dans le noir complet dans l'une des 2 chambres.

Domki są duże, a każdy z nich ma swoje unikalne cechy jak umiejscowienie nad basenem, czy z widokiem na basen, lub u samej góry z widokiem na całą okolicę. Śniadania wg. mnie były obfite i i smaczne - do wyboru były różne warianty oparte na jakach (np. jajecznica, jajka na twardo, jajka sadzone, omlet), ryż smażony z warzywami, kluseczki ryżowe z warzywami, naleśniki z bananami lub z ananasem, do wybory kawa/herbata, sok z owoców lub krojone owoce na talerzu. W odróżnieniu od oferty innych obiektów naleśniki z syropem zawsze były dwa :) Personal jest pogodny i stara się pomóc w każdej kwestii... o ile jest to możliwe

Niestety ale domek nr. 3 jest wyposażony w kuchnię, i w dniu gdy dotarliśmy na miejsce okazało się, że z odpływu pod zlewem wydobywa się straszny smród. ten zapach był tak intensywnie nieznośny, że nie można było spać i rozbolała nas głowa. Niestety ale kilka godzin w nocy musieliśmy spędzić na zewnątrz domku, bo nie dało się w środku wytrzymać - trzeba było przewietrzyć gruntowanie cały domek, ale z kuchni i tak dochodził smród. Z rana porozmawiałem z personelem i zaproponowano mi, że wysprzątają dodatkowo kuchnię... co z gruntu nie miało szansy rozwiązać problemu . Dopiero po rozmowie z właścicielem, przeniesiono nas do innego domu i w tym czasie wykonano naprawę odpływu. Następnego dnia ponownie przeniesiono nas do domu nr. 3 i z przykrością stwierdziłem, że ten wstrętny zapach wciąż był wyczuwalny w kuchni, choć już nie tak intensywny. Rozwiązaniem okazało się zamknięcie kuchni na klucz i otwarcie okien, aby w pomieszczeniu była ciągła cyrkulacja powietrza.

We loved this place because of its fantastic location! Right above Lipah beach which we think is the best beach in Amed. The infinity pool is amazing and our 2bedroom was so great! Kids up the back is in the front with our own private balcony to watch the sunrise and the sunset over Mt Agung, and having a kitchen was actually so great. The staff here are beautiful and attentive and the included breakfast is great. The rooms are cleaned everyday which is such a nice touch and it’s a super easy walk down to the beach for the best Warung Asri and snorkelling. They helped us with transport to and from airport and also with scooter hire.

Our room at the very top of the hotel site was amazing, with it's own garden including private sun loungers and amazing views over the bay. The infinity pool is around the middle section (in height elevation) of the property and was refreshing with a great view over the bay. The staff are super helpful and friendly, carrying out suitcases up the steps was not expected. The breakfast is quite simple but tasty and was included. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance but only a short taxi ride to the busier part of Amed if required. There were two very friendly dogs that wandered the property and seemed to adopt us.

The breakfast was not available until 8am. There was an unsightly building site next to our apartment but we could cover it slightly with a blind and there didn't appear to be any work ongoing, so it didn't disturb us. The roads downhill are very uneven, you definitely need a torch as I twisted my ankle the first night without one.

We had the top Villa and the view across the bay was outstanding. Proximity to Lipah Beach and local cafes and restaurants was great Best snorkelling over coral reef directly from the beach: brilliant. Spacious and comfortable room.

The exceptional views, of course, come with elevation and steep extensive stairs. Resident 2 dogs begging at breakfast, lying on our loungers and generally hanging around.

1. Construction. There is a construction literally 1 meter away from the window, noice from 8 am and when enjoying the view on a sunbed, you and construction workers looking at each other from 5 meters away. 2. Bath. I've been told it's "clean", but there is 0 desire to go into it. 3. Shower. Water is barely going, it is necessary to play with shower head to make it working Notes: 1. It's a common practice to inform guests about construction nearby at the moment of booking. That they can cancel booking and find something else. Especially if the goal is to chill out with a few for a day, and not writing that review. 2. Bath are easily cleaned with melamine sponge 3. Same for shower - melamine sponge and needle to fix it PS, price at the moment of writing ~1ml per day

Breakfast menu needs a bit of an upgrade. No gas connected to allow you to boil water. Had to request one to be installed.

Rooms were large. From the villa at the top, there was a view of the sea out the front door, but the view from the window showed a construction sight right next to the property, with workmen coming early in the morning. I liked that women put offerings around the property in the morning. Very sweet. There was small temple at the top.

The property needs a lot of repair. Our bathroom's bathtub was cracked and unusual, but there was an outdoor shower to use. The umbrellas by the pools appeared to be broken and were never raised for the guests. There were large bags of whatever stacked around the pool. The breakfast offerings were limited but what was available was decent. The only coffee option was Bali coffee.

Hele ruime vila met prachtig uitzicht op zee. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt en de kamers werden elke dag met veel zorg schoongemaakt. Hele goede warungs in de buurt en op korte afstand van hét snorkelstrand van Bali. Top!

Thrilled by the spacious “superior” room with the front yard overlooking the bay. Big shower with stone tile floor and walls, open to the sky. 4-poster bed with net. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included, good banana pancakes. Easy access to beach and snorkeling, and Warung Asri.

No loaner power outlet adapter available, but purchased one for 30k at Bhuana Market up the street. Construction going on next door daytime, minimal problem, enjoyed talking with the fireman.

Good place with a wonderful view. I was alone in the whole complex, so it felt very private too :)

The villa I originally reserved had construction behind the wall, but I was moved to another one without any problems :)

Amazing location overlooking Lipah Beach.. lovely infinity pool and traditional gardens with stone statues. Villa was clean, comfy bed with large water dispenser. Lovely room with a fantastic view and great breakfast every morning. As others have said, it’s in a quiet area, not in the town, but there are warungs and beach bar/restaurants and snorkeling nearby

Lokalizacja na snorkeling jest bardzo dobra- wystarczy przejść przez ulicę. Plaża nie jest atrakcyjna- jest wulkaniczna, dużo na niej miejscowych rybaków, łódek i bezpańskich psów, ale podwodny świat zachwyca.

Brak oświetlenia w okolicy basenu aby można było wieczorem popływać czy posiedzieć na leżaku. Sniadanie na miejscu też nie jest zbyt atrakcyjne.

Lovely villa, spotlessly clean, 5 minute walk down steps to the beach, views of ocean amazing, staff were lovely - arranged a day trip through them, return taxi to amed and also back to the airport. Would love to return.

Amed was one of our favourite places to stay and this villas location was perfect! 2 min walk from beach with amazing snorkelling. The villa was roomy, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We arranged massages through the villa and they were some of the best we have had on our trip. The pool area was lovely with amazing views. We had a fantastic stay.

Underbar utsikt över strand och vyer, fin pool, bra frukost. Rekommenderar också taxi via Wayan. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam chaufför. Jättebra snorkling nära boendet.

Property has great location on the hill overlooking lipah bay n easy walk to beach n snorkelling :) n a couple of great places to eat n drink . Also get a good view of volcano if weather is clear . Rooms are very nice too big and roomy :) Breakfast is good too and staff r very accomadating:)

Отель на краю пляжа, немноголюдно. Завтраки неплохие, но однообразные. Напротив отеля отличный риф, прекрасный снорклинг. В 100м от отрля есть лодки, на которых можно сьездить на снорк к другим интересным точкам. В пешей доступности масса кафе, в 5 мин обменник с хорошим курсом. Хороший бассейн. Нужно иметь ввиду, что до фруктов и овощей (и других продуктов) ездить на байке или на такси. Пешком далеко. Персонал очень хороший, помогают. Сдали мне скутер в аренду по хорошей цене.

Не хватает яркости электрического освещения в номере. Нужно учитывать, что из отеля нет вида ни на восход ни на закат солнца. На море вид неплохой. Огромные по высоте подушки, на которых спать очень некомфортно. Дороговато.

Dommage que le personnel ne parle pas bien anglais, il est difficile de se faire comprendre.

Villa 2 chambres : très spacieuse, Literie confortable, Cuisine, frigo et eau a disposition. Proximité de la plage de Lipah où le snorkelling est super. Petit déjeuner très bon.

Câbles électriques qui gâchent la vue depuis la piscine (non visibles sur les photos Booking...). Salles de bain sans réelle fenêtre pour aérer. Sans moyen de locomotion, les villas sont assez éloignées du centre d'Amed (15 min en taxi).

It was a little away from Amed Central but we knew this before we booked. Simply hire a scooter from Roy's place down the road. Very efficient and reasonable.

PRO - The views of the beach was nice except for the power lines blocking some of the views. The pool was clean and the grounds very well kept. Location was excellent. top of hill. Wifi performance was also excellent. The room design was well done, plenty of seating area. Staff was over the top and exceptional, outstanding and friendly.

CONs - For the money paid per night I expected an outstanding breakfast, but was truly disappointed. The property applied a property service fee on my bill, this is shocking to me because places like Las Vegas or a larger city charges these type of fees.

Logement idéalement a 1min de la plage de Lipah Beach permettant une magnifique vue de toute la baie. La piscine à débordement donnant vue sur la baie est parfaite. Petit déjeuner copieux et diversifié.

La habitación era muy espaciosa y estaba decorada con muy buen gusto. Las vistas desde nuestra habitación eran preciosas. Desde la piscina y la zona de desayunos también contaban con bonitas vistas a la costa de Amed. Está algo alejado de las calles principales, por lo que es un oasis de paz.

Por añadir algo, el desayuno era muy básico (de los peores que hemos tenido en nuestro viaje por Bali). No tienen restaurante para comer o cenar.

The view from our room of the sea was amazing! The room was spacious and had a little fridge. The bed was comfortable. It was about a five-ten minute walk down to the sea where you could snorkel easily off the beach. We saw two sea turtles! The staff were very helpful, breakfast was great! There were several warung and an ice cream shop about ten minutes walk away. Getting a scooter from a local hire company dropped off was so convenient (60k/day). We could explore Amed and other snorkel spots. The view from the pool was lovely.

Not much! The pool water was very warm so it wasn't always refreshing.

La vue mer, l’emplacement à 2 pas de la plage, la piscine , le personnel très gentil et serviable. La chambre était très propres et comportait tout le confort nécessaire. Une bonbonne d’eau était à notre disposition dans la cuisine de la chambre.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits et tout était parfait. L emplacement impeccable, la chambre vue mer est somptueuse. Enfin le personnel est vraiment très gentil souriant et serviable.

La vue est magnifique, chambre spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et tout est fait minute. L'accès à Lipah beach en 2 min, le snorkeling y est génial. Pour les tortues, allez-y de bon matin et visez le centre de la plage où il n'y a pas de coraux :)

La salle de bain n'est pas en bon état, la baignoire est inutilisable car le revêtement est brûlé, il faudrait le notifier sur l'annonce. Un des 2 transats sur la terrasse est également cassé. Dommage aussi qu'il n'y ai pas de parasol, impossible de profiter de l'extérieur en plein jour.

Schöne Anlage voller Frangipanibäume, von der Terrasse hat man Blick über den Pool und die Bucht. Obwohl teilweise voll belegt, hat man von den anderen Gästen wenig mitbekommen. Frühstück wird täglich frisch zubereitet, die Mitarbeiter halten die Anlage durchgehend sehr sauber und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Trinkwasser und Tee stehen zur Verfügung. Schnorcheln in der Bucht ist ein Muss, viele wunderschöne Fische.Zum Strand geht man ein kurzes Stück die Straße entlang. An der Straße und am Strand etliche Warungs, kleine Supermärkte etc. Im Vergleich zu Ubud alles viel ruhiger.

Das eine Zimmer hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Das andere Zimmer hat leider nur ein kleines Fenster, das auf eine Wand schaut, und ist dadurch ziemlich dunkel und nicht sehr attraktiv. Dort gab es auch keine Nachttische oder eine sonstige Ablage.

A little bit dated and needs some minor renovations to bring it back to its glory days

L’emplacement est idéal, à 2min de la plage. Nous avions une villa avec terrasse où la vue est magnifique. Le personnel est très gentil mais la villa mériterait un petit coup de neuf, notamment la salle de bain.

Die Villas liegen am Hügel mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick über die Bucht. Der Pool ist schön, nicht sehr groß, trotzdem kann man auch vom Pool die herrliche Aussicht genießen. Frühstück war in Ordnung, hat aber relativ lange gedauert weil alles frisch zubereitet wird.

Zum Strand muss man über die Straße, die Treppen hinunter. Das ist nicht dramatisch, aber sei erwähnt, dass es nicht direkt am Meer liegt.

This place is comfortable for a short stay in Amed. The hotel service was wonderful and are willing to help with anything you may need. The location is perfect with many restaurants and entertainment nearby.

I’ve already left an extensive review but another thing I really appreciated was providing the giant water dispenser along with mini fridge.

I really enjoyed my stay at Shankara Parada. We stayed at the Ocean view villa on the top and the views are stunning. While sunrise is somewhat blocked it is still beautiful. The room was spacious, the king bed very comfortable, and everything was clean and well-kept bar the bathtub… don’t think you can take a bath as something burnt it but it’s a small sacrifice and I wasn’t bothered. The location is perfect—so accessible to the beach for swimming and snorkelling, with a few good restaurants just a short 5-minute walk away. I had just had an accident and couldn’t swim, but even then, I truly enjoyed my time here thanks to the beautiful views and the comfort of the stay. I actually quite liked the simple breakfast—it was perfectly adequate without excess or waste, which felt thoughtful. Yes, there are stairs, but staff are more than happy to help carry bags, and it adds to the charm of the place. That said, if you’re not good with stairs, this property may not suit you—and honestly, I found the Amed area in general has a lot of stairs everywhere. I wish to come again and stay if I can get the same room.

Tolle Villa mit fantastischer Aussicht, kleiner Küche, bequemen Betten und einem schönen Pool. Sehr schöne Sonnenliege mit Aussicht. Nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zum besten Schnorchelspot. Alles sehr sauber. Großartiges Frühstück! Nachts sehr ruhig. Freundliches Personal. Passendes Kinderbett, sogar mit Moskitonetz.

Leider sehr viele Mücken im Zimmer, waren nicht weg zu bekommen auch wenn die Mitarbeiter bemüht waren und uns ein Duftgerät haben, es wurde nicht besser. Sehr, sehr muffiger Geruch im Bad, wodurch dann auch die Handtücher gestunken haben. Für die Leistung doch sehr hochpreisig im Verhältnis zu anderen Unterkünften.

The bathroom shower area was a bit dark and had a dank smell. The kitchen was unexpected but also had a stale smell about it.

Shankara Parada Villas has been a wonderful stay! Great location for a walk to the beach and restaurants. Our lovely room had a great view. The very friendly staff go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We had yummy breakfasts daily. We look forward to going back to stay.

Panoramic ocean views over Lipah beach with the most amazing snorkeling of the beach only 50m away. Quiet small collection of clean and comfy villas with a lovely pool and within walking distances of great food and beach vibes.

Our second stay at Shankara Parada. Very comfortable and spacious rooms and lovely, helpful staff. Loved being a 3 minute walk (across the road and down 20 or so steps) to some great snorkelling.

The personal very kind and very helpful. The view is amazing Place is calm The room is big , clean. Close to the beach for snorkeling.

The amount of insects, low privacy and didn't feel safe when i woke up to a stranger knocking up my door,

We stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and it was so clean, spacious and cozy. The ocean view from the terrace is so awesome. I was going to go to the hotel across the street and finally chose here, and it was such a great choice. The pool, room facilities, atmosphere, everything is better than there. It's very close to the ocean and there are many restaurants around.

One disadvantage is that the lighting in the living room is too dark in the evening. I really want to improve this.

The location amazing for snorkelling Lipah. The staff very nice and so very very helpful. They couriered my jewellery I left behind to my next hotel. Breakfast very nice also. Clean and comfy room.

Beds a bit firm for me, but that's a personal preference
