The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was very good as were the drinks
This was probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in! We were in room 2. The bed was lumpy with springs poking through, very difficult to get comfortable or move without disturbing my wife. There were no bedside cabinets, so things had to be put on the floor.. The only light had a switch by the door meaning getting out of bed to switch it off! The shower room was so small (6" between the toilet and shower) meaning it was impossible to sit on the toilet, or dry oneself. The shower was broken making it impossible to adjust, and water dripped from the taps continuously. After reporting the broken shower, we were offered another room, but as we were getting ready to eat we stupidly refused. The final straw was when we were told the hotel no longer served breakfast
Friendly Clean Close to the train station

Good value and a good location.
Shower pressure was very low and the bathroom small.
Staff and food were excellent. Good choice of food and drink, couldn't fault either of them.
My room was a little tired and bed was bordering on uncomfortable
They had free parking
Not very nice and smelt damp. Cracks in walls, bed head was wonky. Shower was really hard to turn on and off and it leaked.
Their car pack is okay and spacious
Their bed is bad, the fridge in the room is not working
The staff
Scabby
It was a nice room staff was friendly
It smelt slightly of mould in the room
Location was ok for what ee needed Bar was updated staff very helpful
Rooms very dated Rooms clean but carpets very dirty No breakfast offered
No remote for tv por noddle left be hind and t spoon for tea .no toilet roll
Just keep up on things
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The bed was uncomfortable The walls were thin; I could hear the person in the next room turning in bed. The room smelt when the window was closed; traffic noise made it essential it was closed. The shared bathroom door was noisy.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
It was near station literally across the road. So very convenient. And shop were near too.
Booked for staff who were working in the area. All good
Location near the railway station was good.
Room poorly laid out. No bedside lamps and a toilet - lacking a lid - that you couldn’t sit on properly due to lack of space. Shower head was leaking and not fixed properly (we had to repair it ourselves). Also, what I presume was the sound of a water pump, going off every 20 seconds (3 times a minute, 180 times an hour) all night led to a less than good night’s sleep. Staff were pleasant, sheets and towels clean, but bed lumpy. Was charged £75 for the night (with no breakfast) for double room for 2 people. If I’d been charged half of that, I would still consider it too much for the standard of accommodation offered.
The staff were wonderful
The water heater made a very loud noise right throughout the night, resulting in zero sleep for the guests in rooms 4 and 5. No air conditioning or fan available un the room.
Friendly staff
Room had zero ventilation to the outside There was a sign saying tap water wasn’t safe to drink The A/C unit was broken The toilet wasn’t fixed to the floor and felt unsafe to use The fridge was dirty There was no lighting or side table in the single bed alcove
Friendly staff . Good food
The bed needs a new mattress. The mattress springs had gone which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. And the bed was small. The room was tired , needed to be redecorated .
I chose the location due to its close proximity to both the local railway and bus stations as I often use public transport. The property had plenty of parking though for those who arrive by car and also had a restaurant, with a well stocked bar and Sky TV. For the price I paid, even though there was no included meal option, I felt it was good value for money and will be staying there again. I used the accommodation as a base to hike locally in the Nottinghamshire area and would recommend it to others.
There was nothing I didn't particularly like and although the accommodation was not local for shops etc, it was well positioned on as bus route
A refund
The messy carpets in room the santriy pads left behind he radiator in bath room. Nose all night couldn't sleep
Stayed in an en-suite room, very nice. Really comfortable bed and great shower. Lovely friendly staff too.
Good hotel in good price .
The bed mattress could be changed as is not best .
The location
Nothing really mate
Great location, tidy room, convenient car parking and all the staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly
Toilet had dried poo hair and other splashes around the bowl when I arrived had to clean with sanitiser when I arrived.
Very close to railway station and The Mallard. Good beer and food available
Only one small thing, the shower room was cramped and using the toilet difficult as a result
Location was perfect for visiting Bassetlaw Hospital, free on site parking. Warm welcoming staff, excellent food and the room was very clean, comfortable and extremely spacious with air conditioning.
Very welcoming on arrival room clean and tidy perfect for our overnight stay
Friendly staff
Falling apart, outdated
Friendly staff.
It's quite noisy and the bathroom was very dirty. I understand it's only a 2 star but being clean and very poor upkeep isn't a good look.
Or room was upgraded by the hotel manager to a very comfortable ground floor one that was large and easy for us to get the dogs out. We had a wonderful dinner outside in the garden.
A sofa or comfy chair in the room would have been nice.
Nothing
There was a noise coming from the water pump in the Cunard every 60 seconds So need less to say we got no sleep at all As there was no one on site to report it to and hopefully get another room we had to put up with the noise In the morning as we weee checking out I I let the first person that I saw which was the chief He was very concerned when I let him hear the recording So he let me into the bar area to speak to the manager I said that there was a noise every 60 And she asked if we were in from ni 5 I I said yes , so you know about the noise , she reply yes I asked how can you book people into this room knowing that noise was happening She reply it’s the only family room they have as it was 3 of they had to put us in that room as there nothing she can do I told her can stop booking people in that room As it was not fair as we book the room to get a night sleep and we got no sleep He attitude was nothing I can do I said to
Location is handy for the railway station, check in was friendly and helpful. Nice fluffy white towels and white clean bedding. Clean bathroom with bright lighting.
The area downstairs had an awful stale smell and my room also smelled repulsive even with the window open, the heavy atmosphere in room 14 left me with a headache, and tight chest. The room was very small not much bigger than a broom cupboard. The ensuite bathroom was tiny, fitted with a cloakroom sink, which was difficult to wash in..For what I paid £60 for 1 night of not being able to sleep much due to the smell and the poor quality mattress, with its concave discomfort, springs going into your back wherever you moved to. I tried to sleep best way I could with the pillows under my back. The car park was not well lit, making me feel vulnerable to pack and leave in the night. Otherwise i would have driven home in the night for sure.I couldn't get comfy on that mattress even though I tried it was appalling. I checked out early morning, what a relief to be away from that awful atmosphere, get home and get some sleep. For anyone with any allergies in that place, it would definitely trigger them, because it made me feel short of breath.
Very good Dinner.
The worst bed we have ever slept in - jangling springs, completely shot. No fan on a very warm night. Hotel does not have enough fans for all rooms.
Personal very friendly and nice.
From the very entrance the dirty and smelly carpet is terrifying. Very old interior. The room, .. moving floor, terrible mattress. In the bathroom, the floor is also moving, the toilet flapper fell off, the tap is leaking, ..unpleasant smell of dirty carpets.
Perfect for our visit .

Great hotel beer and food friendly staff stayed in room 18 amazing value for money £170 for two nights room was amazing
Nothing to dislike about the hotel but the couple in room 17 with the dogs very disrespectful music on all night they fell asleep with it on kept waking me up the noise at 3am the dogs barking all night was awful but not the hotels fault
No hot water and dribbly shower
Peace and quiet outdated outside but it has history and character staff was welcoming even the chamber maid who made me so welcome to the area etc she is incredible
Nothing really fire alarm went off at 3am but no issue there but the flooring in the shower room needs redoing
Staff was friendly and if needed anyhelp can ask
The shower was not great and the bed was uncomfortable the tv you could only use Netflix or YouTube not normal
No running water problems with water system
Clean rooms , respectful and welcoming staff
My stay was on a business trip to a local company called Duke Distribution for training purposes. The location was excellent for my stay in Worksop, and the hotel staff was very helpful. A very pleasant journey, thank you

Nice and clean staff very helpful and friendly
No wardrobe so couldn't hang up clothes
Location
Very friendly staff. Easy to check in. Room was very clean. Bedding was cosy and bed comfortable.
No toiletries provided but not really an issue as we had our own.
Just had 15 great nights at The Station Hotel. My room was so spacious, modern, and clean. The food was great, my favourite was the Steak and Ale Pie. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend The Station Hotel!
Nothing, I really enjoyed my time here.
Location is the reason I picked the hotel, not even a 30 second walk from the train station. Well within walking distance of small shops and 5 minutes to North Notts College where I was attending for the 3 days.
Lovely pub and staff
Our room smelt of damp and the bed was uncomfortable.
The staff are great! Very attentive and helful.
Rooms are very basic, but just right for what I needed.
As expected, very reasonable price
The Staff where really nice and friendly and the bar and food where great
The mattress was terrible sunken down in the middle and really poor quality The shower barely gave a dribble just about unusable The staff and bar where excellent, but after a hard days work all i really needed was a hot shower and a comfortable nights sleep, unfortunately this wasn't the case.
Very near to the station. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room
Bathroom was mouldy smelling
Basic property get what you pay for
Staff are lovely at this hotel- always a pleasure
Friendly staff, clean rooms, good temperature.
Bathroom very small, shower a bit weak
In room 12 there was no heating, no hot water/pressure. and the window would not shut properly and it was raining! The window sill was wet and the room smelt damp! It was far to cold in there, they must have aware as a portable heater was also in there but sadly did not work!
the evening meal was good and the staff were good.
the room was not very clean
Friendly staff. Very good value for money. Rooms clean, nicely decorated and presented.
It was during a heatwave so not necessarily the fault of the hotel but it meant the window had to be wide open and it’s on a main road so struggled to sleep.
Great location, very friendly staff and tidy little room. Had a good night sleep.
Was kind of clean
Tv not working. Hot water not working. Room was nothing like photos. Toilet tiny . Room above a pub was loud as f@ck. Save your money go somewhere else
A warm welcome. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing
Room a little cold during the night
Nothing much
Overall poor quality and no value for money Very uncomfortable toilets No toiletries. Bed very average.
I couldn't get the hot water to work in the morning on the shower of room 4
From Entering the hotel the staff were very friendly, the food was outstanding. The upgrade to an on suite room was a bonus at no extra cost or inconvenience to the hotel. Check out times give you enough time to sort yourself out for journey home
The bed was very uncomfortable as off the mattress was rock hard, the spacing around the bed was not enough with the bed bameing against the wall at one side
Room's where clean and beds where comfy.
Shame they no longer served breakfast
Very central, great price, lovely rooms and helpful staff. Slight problem with the heating and the staff were very helpful, offered another room straight away.
Hangers or hooks for clothes and towels would be useful.
Location Quality of the rooms Parking And the staff
The property was better than my expectation
I liked the room I originally paid for £85 just the heating wasnt working so I got moved to room 1 which is a cheaper room £75
The heating not working
Great space, clean, friendly...great value for money
Just a bit cramp on the wc thats all..great place
It was an old fashioned Victorian Railway Station hotel. It was clean and friendly
Nothing!
Friendly staff
There’s nothing that I can think of that I didn’t like about
