nice room, quiet location
all ok
Food was great, rooms were clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful
I booked 3 double rooms (for single occupancy) but two of them were twin beds. I am a big bloke and struggle in a single bed.
Tasteless maple syrup. Canned berries, not so nice.
Room nice good location would recommend Staff nice.
Nothing to dislike
Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and plenty of parking.
Room was cold, coudnt get thd heating to work.. Had food in evening had to send it back as it was cold.. Breakfast was also barely warm.
Good location, great helpful staff comfortable rooms
Room was basic but clean and comfortable. We were late checking in so could not eat at the pub but it is within walking distance of lots of alternative fast food places and supermarkets. Aircon was on in the room when we arrived so had to turn it off as a bit chilly but got a good, quiet nights sleep. Extra pillows available. Bathroom was clean and roomy, plenty of towels. We both enjoyed breakfast; I ordered the 3 egg omelette and hubby had eggs on toast, we enjoyed tea and coffee, fruit juice etc. The staff were friendly. We would stay again.
No complaints, quite happy for the price we paid for one night.
The staff wer very good friendly and professional Very helpful

The booking was affordable and great value. Everything was hassle‑free, and the staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed a nice pub‑style breakfast in the morning.
Slightly confusing at first as the accommodation is connected to the pub. We weren’t sure we’d arrived and had to walk through the pub to reach our lodgings. A minor inconvenience, but once familiar with it, it was fine.
Handy location for our stay

Location
Breakfast was excellently cooked and good choice but continental breakfast was not being maintained well to the end of the serving time
It was a lovely large, clean and comfortable room.

Nice location.
Bed was hard. No teaspoons for making a drink. Bath plughole full of hair.
Chain Hotel by Marstons, similar good standards to a Premier Inn. Nice location next to canal locks, large car park and easy access to the main roads network. Separate pub to accommodation block where a very good cooked to order breakfast was served. Pub had a good choice of beers etc and did a very popular Carvery style meal lunchtimes and evenings. All staff were relaxed, professional and friendly. Price for B&B was excellent value.
I liked the location near the canal and also I was able to get a last minute booking on the day i was supposed to be staying somewhere else so I was very happy and I wish I had just come here first as I was looking at it anyway but got here in the end and my stay ended up being more enjoyable 😉
Nothing to be honest it was everything I needed clean comfortable lovely area plus friendly and helpful staff ☺️
Great hotel Simple and clean
Stayed in a twin room Double was comfortable but the single mattress was rough
The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. I am both Vegan and Gluten Free and was grateful to discover that dishes could be filtered in the online menu according to allergies. It so happened that the meal I liked the sound of, the Veggie Chilli, came up as OK. I had a portion of skin-on chips as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and my family and friends (with no dietary requirements) seemed to really enjoy their food as well. With a discount coupon it was fairly priced too. We had a family with young children in our group, and they enjoyed their stay as there's an outdoor play area, plus one inside for under 5's, as well as colouring sheets and crayons to keep the young ones entertained. My bed was comfy which contributed to a good night's sleep.
I booked what was described as a Double or Twin Room, but there was no option in the booking process to make a distinction. Despite adding a comment that a twin room was required, and phoning the hotel in advance with the same request, we discovered on arrival to our room that it had a double bed. To be fair to the staff, they soon sorted out another room for us with twin beds. The signage in the corridors could be improved. As you enter the corridor there are signs pointing left or right for the rooms on the first floor, but no sign indicating which way to go for rooms on the second floor. The shelf that acts as a bedside table is tiny, I had to stack items such as mobile phone, book to read, etc, on top of each other as there wasn't enough room.

Longe da cidade
It was fine.
Given wrong room - walked in on a bloke. Not alarming on this occasion-they just gave me a new room but it’s happening too often in the industry. Slow down (ie you can’t be tending bar and distributing rooms at the same time.
Clean rooms and everything worked. Useful to have air-conditioning.
Child bed wasn't very comfy.
The room
The room was clean, my friend and I enjoyed a hot shower. We slept comfortable too.

Location and good size car park
Room above awake and moving round till 2am!!!!!
The staff were very helpful, my wife was not good on stairs so they put us in ground floor room. Location is very nice next to the canal, and Breakfast was very good. Will recommend to friends and anyone wanting a place to stay in Worksop.
Nothing we didn't like, everything was good, we will use again when we visit Worksop.
Clean comfortable room - great price - great location
Everything was fine
We were walking the canal , so perfect location for us. Had a nice carvery meal . Close to Asda to get what we needed for the following day.
Bed too hard for us .
Every thing
What is there not to like about this place
Convenient to visiting family
We were in room 105 and the noise from above was awful from 5 am a child was running up and down the room sounding like a heard of elephants we gave up on a lie in and went home
Clean, air conditioned, good value.
Not much - a good value place to stay so I didn't expect too much.
Didn't have breakfast
Room was nice, with a spacious bathroom. Modern smart TV and strong Aircon on a very hot day.
Breakfast was a bit chaotic. The staff were very nice, but we struggled to find someone. Neither the pastries and juices were refilled whilst we were there. The cooked breakfast tasted good.
Room was decent enough for what we paid, decent sized bathroom and bath tub with a plug so you can actually bath. Tea and coffee facilities good, beds were comfy.,
Hotel was a little run down. Broken shelf in the wardrobe bit, mirror missing off wall but all the sealant and wood still there. Walls are thin so you can head absolutely everything going on above you if on ground floor.
Big car park and comfy room
Excellent breakfast. Toaster caused a few problems, with burned toast.
Breakfast was fantastic, great bath and great air conditioning.
Lack of towels. Would have preferred a double room rather than a twin
Location, pub area was comfortable. rooms were clean & comfortable but a bit dated.
Some staff seemed poorly trained & disinterested. The manager was inept and deceitful. There were posters in the pub & car park offering 3 pints of cask ale for £10 after 5pm. The manager said it did not apply to the two cask ales on the bar but I said the poster sates " cask ales" - she said not those ones !!! - there were no others !!!! - she said the rules were set by head office so I told her she could keep the 3 pints she had pulled and we would go elsewhere. Upon which she said on this occasion we could have them for £10 ( like the offe on the posterr said) - we went out elsewhere for food and on our return again attempted to order 3 pints for £10. The bar staff said the offer finished at 7pm - to which we pointed out the posters did not specify a finish time for the offer. The manager then approached and told the member of staff to put them through for £10. The manager or Marstons seem to have a distinct policy of deliberately trying to deceive their customers which quite frankly is disgraceful.
Room was clean and large with twin beds as requested. The ensuite was a nice size. It was very quiet and we had a lovely night. We ate at the pub and had the carvery which was great (tip sign up to their mailing list ahead of time as we got a voucher for the food). Loads of car parking, drive round the left of the building rather than parking the front bit. We checked in a the pub and the gentleman who served us was very good. The accommodation is separate to the pub so it is nice and calm. I had a really nice walk along the canal bank.
All excellent
Served not a buffet and the waitress came and took the order
Continental breakfast seemed a bit sparse and not kept cold
Lovely clean air conditioned room. Slept very well on very comfortable bed.
Breakfast could have been better in the restaurant.
Staff friendly. If you like classic pub food.. not bad for that
It’s outdated and for the cost.. not worth it. Bathrooms are really bad. Halls stank of marijuana on both my nights. Location is great for those that need motorways.. not for families
Next to canal
Friendly staff, clean accommodation.
The food provided for small dishes were more fir children and overpriced for the amount provided
Staff was so helpful...clean
The bed was not comfortable for us .. but other people might find it comfortable
The staff very friendly and accommodating! The location is great.
The bed was rock hard, and the shower steamed the whole room up after 2 people showering the door was dripping.
Peaceful area and the staff were all fabulous.
Nice clean room. Friendly staff.
Food, rooms, comfort all good. Staff friendly
The toilets in the pub could of been better
Restaurant on site. Good parking.
Room basic furnishings, no drawers, little hanging space. Service at dinner first night poor, as we were told there was a big party in other room. We checked as it was a bank holiday and were told breakfast began at 7am, then restaurant wasn't open until 8am. Very inconvenient as we needed to be away early. Staff obviously didn't know important details.
The lodge (bedrooms) part was clean, simple and comfortable - can’t really fault it.
The breakfast was provided by the pub next door - ordering a cooked breakfast took 45-50 mins for the food to arrive which was very frustrating. Not an issue if you are having continental as that is all laid out.
Air conditioning didnt work and had to wait over 45 minutes for breakfast.
Easy access for my visit
Not very clean , only 1 towel provided and requested another and never received - meal was cold and not cooked on arrival
Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was very good
No teaspoons at breakfast!

Although a basic room, we were very impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the room and ensuite. The bed was comfortable and additional pillows were provided. There were two double entry card security locks to the building and the same card gave access to the room. The choice of dishes on the breakfast menu were excellent and individually cooked. It was in a nice area close to a canal which provided a very pleasant evening walk. We thought the standard was very high and better than a lot of more expensive hotels.

Everything was so easy to book and check in.
There was nothing we didnt like.
Room was clean
Bed not comfy pillows hard Very hot room
Great breakfast Room okay & clean Bed comfortable
Lack of cupboard space No reception desk on premises & not easy to request extra tea, coffee, milk, etc
All good
One of the hotels on my Nieces wedding list for guests to her wedding could stay as it was near the wedding venue
We had a problem with access key to gain entry to the hotel and our room. It took 4 attempts to sort it out
Location was great for what I wanted.
Good location
Not having showers
The breakfast was perfectly cooked
The soap dispensers in the room didn’t hold much soap. There was only one towel but it did say ask for more if needed.
Convenient, good value, clean.
We extended our stay to 3 nights, no issues with the hotel, pub next door and staff were great
The lock keeper was amazing loved everything about it xx
There was nothing wr didn't like xx
Staff always friendly very helpful . It’s clean comfortable quiet and great value .
Close to Motorway, near our place to be. Friend reception, spacious room, that was the result of a change due to wishing groundfloor instead of 2nd floor. Meal was very nice. Sept like a baby and the breakfast was simply lovely. Next year back.
