We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and attentive to tourists. I want to thank the employee Eslam. He was very attentive to tourists, friendly. Eslam was always ready to help tourists while swimming. He helped to put on a vest and mask correctly. And also carefully watched the tourists when they swam.

I had an amazing experience at Novotel during my honeymoon with my wife. We were both very happy with everything, from the warm and professional staff treatment to the excellent service, delicious food, and beautiful beach. Everything was fantastic and made our honeymoon even more special. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely repeat this experience again. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently stayed at Novotel Marsa Allam for 3 nights on an all-inclusive basis. I'll start with the positives upon arrival, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a lovely smile. I also booked a garden view room, but to my surprise, I was given a garden view with a side sea view, which I assume was due to the hotel being fully booked. That was a nice touch. However, there are several reasons why I would not recommend this hotel, and unfortunately, I will never book Novotel again. Here are the main issues I faced: 1. Poor Water Policy You receive only one small bottle of water per person per day in your room. If you need more, you have to walk to the restaurant, café, or bar to get a cup of water. This is highly inconvenient, especially for an all-inclusive stay. 2. Clear Discrimination Between Guests There is a noticeable difference in how foreign and Egyptian guests are treated. For example, at the restaurant, while waiting for the chef to carve meat, I witnessed foreign guests being served beautifully cut portions, while I was given a ragged piece. This happened twice with two different chefs, which left a very bitter taste. 3. Poor Club Car Service The hotel is quite large, and I requested the club car twice: - First time: I asked to be taken from my room to the parking area so I could drive out to eat elsewhere, as the food was not to our expectations. The nearest restaurant is 25 km away, yet the club car driver came with an angry expression, as if I had asked for something forbidden. - Second time: I requested a club car from the reception to collect us and our luggage for checkout. The receptionist asked why I needed it. When I explained I was checking out, he told me to leave my luggage outside the room and that someone would collect it, while I shouldwalk to the reception. I did as I was told, but after completing checkout, I had to wait 25 minutes to receive my luggage. 4. Rocky Beach Not Suitable for Swimming.

It was AMAZING, everything was super super super good

The hotel is pretty and the rooms have been modernized. That is about all I can praise. The biggest disappointment is the food. There is a very limited selection, and the buffet is essentially one long line. The meat is served by the staff, apparently to make sure you do not take too much. You are given water only once per person per day. Otherwise, you have to pour it yourself into small cups, so do not expect to be able to get water whenever you want. Juices come at an extra charge, as does the Italian restaurant. The pool bar is overcrowded and the service is slow. Every day, someone approaches you around ten times offering excursions and other activities. What I find completely unacceptable is the aggressive behavior of some of the animation staff (not the European employee, but a local one). After I had told him for the tenth time that I was not interested in joining the aqua aerobics, he forced a foam toy into my hands and came back shortly afterwards telling me to go. I told him again that I was not interested and thanked him. He responded by saying that he would never speak to me again for the rest of my life and started an argument. Completely unacceptable! This hotel does not meet the requirements or standards of a five-star hotel.

Too warm to stay and two swimming pools and wide beach ⛱️

Most of the waiters only help kind of people not all the guests. The beach has big issue and should be solved a 80m² with 50cm depth space only u can stand inside the sea and balance is rocky and even forbidden to move on it Marsa Allam people visit due to it's sea plus easy snorkeling for the kids and whom who don't like to snorke at deep areas Also regard the kids area keep closed at night !

We were there earlier this August on the 4th & we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. From the moment we step our foot in the resort by a lovelysmile 😃 of Mr. Ahmed Ashry .The rooms are always spotless. Mr. Mahmoud came early in the morning to clean our room to unit 12... The food is very tasty 😋 and there are plenty of options to choose from every single day😋 Chief Khedr Mohamed .He is the best cook.. Novotel Marsa Alam has such a great, warm & welcoming vibe ✨️ 👌👏. A great thank you to everyone at Novotel Marsa Alam. I recommend Novotel Marsa Alam for everyone 👌 😉 😀

It was a sea view with a small garden outside that you can have a morning coffee on. The air conditioner and light was very nice. Everything was clean.

The hotel is located right on the beach with a reef. Direct access from the beach is not possible, but there is a pier for swimming and snorkeling. The three pools are clean and equipped with ample sun loungers, and there are plenty of umbrellas and loungers on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful, with most of them speaking at least basic Polish, which is a huge plus for those who don't speak the language but want to go on vacation. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily, and water is provided (two bottles). A special thank you to the wonderful Farhat Sobhy for his daily smile, short conversation, and super clean room, as well as his willingness to help with any issues. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is very friendly and open to solving any problem. The food is delicious and quite varied, and the soft drinks are from well-known international brands. Animators are friendly and full committed to Thierry taska, but without any unnecessary pressure. The only minor downside during our stay in June 2026 was the noisy air conditioning at night, making it difficult to sleep without it. After reporting the issue to the reception desk, every effort was made to resolve the issue.

We highly recommend Novotel Marsa Alam Beach Resort. This hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The house reef and coral formations allow you to explore the incredible underwater world just a few steps from your hotel room. While snorkeling, we spotted beautiful, uniquely colored fish, it was truly mind-blowing. The hotel staff provided excellent service and did everything they could to ensure our stay was pleasant. Furthermore, the chefs consistently prepared fresh, delicious meals with plenty of variety, including fish, meat, and vegetables. Our hotel room was clean, spacious, and featured a large bathroom and a balcony with a beautiful view. The noise level was minimal, making it a perfect place to relax, and the location offers great opportunities to explore the area through various excursions. We have visited several hotels in Egypt; however, this one is certainly at the top of our list!

It was exceptional , we stayed in a garden view room from 29th of may till 2nd of june , everything was exceptional the food, the pool, the stuff, the facilities, and the beach with corals and amazing creatures you get to see there.

We stayed here for a family vacation and loved it. The kids had a blast in the pool, and the family suite was large enough for everyone to move around comfortably. The breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh, delicious options for selective eaters. The staff was incredibly patient and kind to our children. Special thanks to Mr/ M.Khamis in the reception, he is very helpful:)

تعامل الريسيبشن غير احترافي و غير مُرحب، الغرف والنظافه ليست جيده، الاقامة اسوء من التوقعات و لا يستحق 5 نجوم، تكييف الريسيبشن مش بيتفتح طول اليوم دي اقل حاجة في واجهة الفندق، الشعب المرجانية اقل من المتوقع بالنسبة لمرسى علم، لا يوجد شاطئ رملي، السناكس غير متاحة طوال اليوم رغم ان الاقامة كانت شاملة، حجزنا غرفة ستاندرد كانت بعيدة جدا عن المطعم و المارينا.

My experience was just fantastic, I spent 5 days with my family. The staff is just an amazing, comfortable and beautiful pool where we can spend our days.

The menu needs some improvements.

This hotel has a nice location close to airport and next to the sea. Atmosphere there was perfect, everyone was very friendly. Room was big and clean everyday. Their also made me a surprise because I had a birthday so they make me a special cake and some decoration in my room and on the dinner table. I am satisfied of our trip to Marsa Alam and for chose this hotel. I totally recommend it!

Hello everyone, I would like to share my review of the Novotel Beach Resort Marsa Alam. We have nothing to complain about, everyone at the hotel took good care of us, the staff is really nice and very helpful. We are very happy that we did not have any stomach problems, the food here is really varied and tasty. The hotel's hygiene is excellent. We really enjoyed the animation team's program, which entertained us every day, big thank you Lynn, Junior from the animation team.

First of all I’d like to thank all the staff for this memorable vacation , The Resort has everything we needed starting from the amazing seafront Rooms which had breathtaking view , the outstanding coral reef which exceeded my expectations as I snorkel a lot and I can tell you this is one of the most beautiful coral reefs to snorkel at . Also the food was excellent in all meals and variable with every day specials Special thanks to all the waiters in the main restaurant as they did great job despite full house

I think some places like the pool bar and the Grill booth in the main restaurant needed more staff to help in the busy seasons

Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. A magnificent coral reef right off the beach, comfortable rooms, and delicious food were provided. We also recommend the tours organized directly by the hotel's travel agency (Bekovarda Travel) and treatments at the hotel spa. The staff were very friendly and the gardens are beautifully maintained.

Hello, Novotel resort has meet all our expectations. The food in this resort is perfect(no stomach problems) every day they have some different tematic dinner. The gardens in this resort are just beatiful, many flowers, palms… The animation team is perfect, they have many good games like darts, boccia and also aqua gym, my favorite animators are Junior and Lynn always smiling and takin care of us.

This is our second time in this hotel and certainly not the last. The staff is nice, smiling and helpful. The rooms are clean as well as the hotel parts. Very good food. Beautiful views, sea and pools. The small number of children probably due to the lack of attractions such as the aquapark. Peace and quiet. I recommend

Non è la prima volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel, un buon hotel con belle camere spaziose, attenti al cliente, cibo non manca e la qualità direi più che discreta. Luogo calmo, senza troppa animazione (meglio), non adatto ad una clientela giovane ma di mezza età, posticino giusto per il vero relax anche perché, non ci sono molti italiani che di solito amano fare rumore, non molto adatto ai bambini, un oasi di pace e tranquillità da non rovinare. Bella barriera ma poca possibilità di nuotare se non li nel caso di mareggiate abbastanza facili visto il vento perenne.

In generale niente da contestare, se posso darei qualche consiglio alla Direzione per migliorare ancor di più alcuni servizi. 1- Rifare le camere non oltre le 13 2- Nella zona esterna, proporre della carne alla griglia (tipo bistecche) e qualche pesce per variare quanto già proposto 3- Controllare il Dress Code di alcuni clienti, che si presentano scalzi o con magliette aperte nel ristorante interno 4- Le bevande dovrebbero essere più fresche, consiglio birra alla spina nei vari bar e ristoranti, le temperature del luogo sono alte e la gente cerca refrigerio nelle bevande Per il resto direi che ..... bravi continuate così e attenzione a non abbassare i vostri standard

The quality of food is correct, based on the price I payed. Anyway the overall set-up was not as an "all-inlcusive" one - example: I had only 2 bottles of water per day - 500 ml/person. To have more water, I had to refill the the empty ones from the machines.

I booked a room with seaside view and I have received one with partial seaside view. The pictures on the booking.com of the room were misleading. The hotel personal was trying to provide a better room but, as it wasn't any availability for those rooms, still was not what I have been booked, based on the hotel photos. In the restaurant the manager was yelling to the employees, which is not in accordance with what I am expecting as behaviour. In the bar, the bartman was always upset/tired, which is creating a bad atmosphere. Overall, it was not a relaxing holiday in this hotel.

It was a wonderful week for all our family : - excellent diving club with nice staff and boss (Cathy and Lolo). Wonderful dives each times ! - different animation with very nice animators (Junior, Cookies, Natalia and Tomy) - Adel took care of our room during our week. He was very professionnal and very kind with us. He makes so beautiful animals and things with towels every days. - beautiful hotel, perfect and big room - different types of food every days, for all. - professionnal personnal - beautiful flowers in each gardent ... All excellent ! We will go to this hotel again !

We spent here a week with a group of 12 people - most of them are divers, so this trip was more like a dive tour for us. We booked 6 rooms and sent a request to the hotel to get the rooms close to each other if possible. 4 out of the 6 rooms were in the same building at the end, so our request was more or less met. Rooms are quite big, with a nice terrace, bathroom, minibar (for extra charge) and safe. Cleaning is done and towels are changed daily. A/C is free of charge and works pretty well. Bed is comfortable and there are enough space to store clothes and other things. Next to the pools beach towels are provided upon handing over your towel cards. At the end of the day, you need to return the towels in order to get back your towel cards. There are two big pools, both are nice and clean. For one of the pools, there is a pool bar, for the other one the bar is just next to the pool. Papyrus Bar is open 24/7, all inclusive is available from 10 AM till midnight. Here you can also get some snacks during the day. Drinks are good, however, the variety of cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) is not too big. The main restaurant is on the first floor of the main building, couple of steps away from the reception. Food is not bad, however, I think the biggest problem is the lack of variety. For breakfast, the very same kind of foods were served each and every day.. Lunch and dinner are a bit more diverse. Waiters are kind, but in many cases you need to wait long to get your drinks served or to get the empty plates collected.. There is an option to use the a la carte restaurant once per week during your stay. Here the food is not good at all. 10 people of our group had dinner here, meaning we tried a lot of dishes, but we liked only a few of them (e.g. the chocolate mousse or the margarita pizza). Waiting time here was also super long, even though we had a scheduled time for dinner and we were not late. Frankly speaking, the main restaurant is much better. Diving center is right behind the main restaurant at the beach, hence this hotel is ideal for divers. Team at the dive center is fabulous, super kind and helpful. All in all, this hotel is good, but not exceptional, however, it is fully worth the price.

We've spent a week in this hotel and it was very relaxing. We enjoyed a calm atmosphere and amazing sea. There is an excellent diving centre here (shout out to Lolo and his team) and the reef is amazing. We often travel to Egypt and this is one of the best house reefs we've encountered. The hotel met all our expectations and the staff was very accomodating. Our room was clean and spacious, everything worked (AC, good size safe box, mini bar and etc.), we asked for a rack to dry our wetsuits outside and it was promptly delivered. Mr. Mahmoud Farag at the reception desk was exceptionally accomodating. At the restaurant we always found food that satisfied our tastebuds and our server quickly learned what beverages we like so they were always delivered without even having to ask. The best thing (in my personal opinion) is that there aren't many russians (if any) here so everybody behaves like normal europeans - no massive amount of unfinished food plates on the tables, no drunk machos and attention seeking barbies. For these reasons and especially because we truly are reef snobs 🙂 we will be coming to this hotel again.

Having not stayed at the hotel since 2021 we were amazed to be welcomed back by so many of the staff who know us from our previous 9 or 10 stays. The room was perfect with a Red Sea and pool view. It was super clean on arrival and the housekeeper, Rifae kept it spotless and made a number of towel art creations during our 13 nights stay. The pool and beach areas were so clean and tidy with friendly lifeguards. We always managed to get a good spot at the pool closest to our room (19208). Food and service in the restaurant (and the a la carte restaurant) was first class. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and we were spoilt for choice at breakfast, lunch and evening meal times. We were invited twice to the GM’s cocktail events where delightful and creative cocktails and buffet finger food items were served. This gave me chance to inform the GM of the positive changes I’d noticed since our last visit as well as to praise the continued high standards. Special mentions to Mariam (guest relations) who was always so friendly and smiley, to Abouzeid (executive chef) who was always on hand to assist, recommend and reassure, to Saad Ahmed (ref shirt restaurant) who was always helpful and friendly, to Hossam (pink shirt restaurant) who always, without fail had a big smile and always without being asked brought us glasses of Sprite. to Emad (a la carte restaurant) who remembered us from 2021 and before and whose attention to detail and superb service always impressed, to Abdou (reception) for our genuine warm welcome at midnight on arrival, and to the 2 breakfast and lunchtime chefs who also remembered us. Lastly, a final thank you to Mohamed Fouda (GM) for hosting the cocktail events and to Mohamed the restaurant manager (white shirt) for running the restaurant service so well throughout our stay and for spending some time on our last day chatting to myself and son. Suffice to say we had another fabulous stay and we hope to return this summer.
