Uma Padi Villa

Breakfast was delicious. We rented scooters, so it was close enough to city center during the day, but in a country setting for quiet. Restaurants and massage services nearby

We felt rushed out on our last day. Check out wasn’t until 11, but they wanted to clean our room at 9:00. We still had to return our scooters and order our driver.

Away from center of Ubud so if you want a peaceful environment this is the place. You have your own pool and everything you need is there. The staff were also really nice and friendly:)

The lock for the entrance and bedroom door was a bit confusing. (once you get it no problem)

No contact number so we had to go to reception every time. Microwave was broken. Water cooler was dirty. And didn’t get reply from the management for kids club information.

The staff were lovely. Good location. Lovely villa. Delicious breakfast. We were really happy with our stay.

The pool was very deep and cold. we were on high alert with our 5 year old.

Personnel très accueillant et très bienveillant, il nous on même donnée de l’eau de coco quand j’etait malade, il vous servent vraiment comme des princesse, très serviable et très souriant. La maison très confortable, très belle et très propre on a passer un merveilleux séjour sur place

Alojamiento excepcional, habitación grande, baño muy grande, zona de jardín y piscina fantástico. Todo estaba muy limpio. Llegamos alrededor de las 12 de la noche y nos estaban esperando. La ubicación es muy buena porque estas separado del bullicio del centro y es super relajante, ademas no está tan lejos del centro. Nos movíamos en moto al centro que eran 10 min, nos pareció que se podía hacer andando aunque las aceras en bali escasean y podría complicarse pero por distancia no supone un problema. El personal muy atento. Nos dieron servicio de lavandería y muy bien, aunque la ropa blanca no quedo muy limpia pero igualmente nos fue de gran ayuda.

Si tuviera algo que decir para mejorar sería que tuvieran una opción para dejar el desayuno empaquetado y llevarnoslo a las excursiones. El desayuno es de 7-10 y como turista había días que teníamos que salir mucho antes por excursiones programadas y hubiera sido de gran ayuda poder empaquetar el desayuno la noche antes para llevarnoslo pero es un dato como mejora pero no una critica o descontento ya que ellos indican cual es el horario del desayuno como cualquier alojamiento

Authentic Balinese accommodation with outdoor kitchen. Pool was refreshing, breakfast was yummy. Staff were lovely.

Understand it’s authentic. That means the kitchen is outside and there is only air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Une belle villa, les chambres sont agréables, la literie est de qualité et le personnel très accueillant. La piscine est parfaite. La villa est située dans une allée, avec quelques commerces à proximité (bar, salle de sport, restaurant, salons de massage…)

Rien. La villa est un peu éloignée du centre-ville pour pouvoir faire le trajet à pieds mais cela permet d’être réellement au calme et le trajet se fait facilement en taxi ou scooter.

the street to get in to the villa was a bit narrow and dark. If you are spending a lot of days, maybe you run out of options with the breakfast. We stayed for 6 nights and at some point the breakfast was limited.

Schöne eigene Villa mit Pool und modernem Badezimmer. Das am Vortag bestellte Frühstück wurde in die Villa gebracht. Es war möglich, in die Villa Essen aus einem nahegelegenen Restaurant zu bestellen. Das Personal war freundlich und hat sich bei Anliegen umgehend gekümmert, zB einen Roller organisiert. Die ruhige Lage mit Blick auf die Reisfelder hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Da die Türen der Villa aus Schiebetüren bestehen und im Bad ein offenes Fenster über der Dusche ist, können durch die Ritzen kleinere Krabbeltiere wie Ameisen ins Zimmer gelangen.

Loved the villas, pool and staff/family. Staff take a lot of pride in property and maintain it well. Koi fish pond was delightful and pool an amazing way to finish a humid day. Air con in rooms work well and cooked breakfasts with fresh juices a beautiful way to start the day. Driver for touring or a drop off/pick up from the markets can be arranged easily and villa is conveniently located easy walking distance from some amazing restaurants and is a short drive to Ubud. Lovely to chat to staff each day coming or going from the villas and as breakfast is being set up. Gardens around villa are beautifully appointed.

Not much to not like, only comments are that there was a lack of kitchen utensils and only 1 wine glass plus a spare roll of toilet paper would be advantageous. We had to stock up on bottled water from the Bintong as 1-2 small bottles a day isn’t enough in heat and humidity. A water dispenser would be more eco-friendly than bottled water and allow guests to use what they need. Some tiredness shows in parts but essentially a beautifully maintained villa complex.

Probably only the pool.. cos it can visually see the white powder underneath the pool.. nothing else is clean!!!

洗手间好比是万人厕所！骚的难以使用。900+元一晚上真的是坑。深坑。厨房所有餐具看着就脏。没办法我们自己用消毒纸巾擦桌面，湿纸巾变成了灰棕色。床单和蚊帐已经黄了，不敢看。垃圾桶更恶心了，都不敢用。

Lack of communication, simple requests were not considered, awkward layout of villa, pool never got ant sun, sun beds to hard and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable,it was like sleeping on a concrete block. I asked for a mattress topper and was told our guests prefer hard beds. The breakfast was boring and the same every day, very disappointing stay and I would not recommend

Bella villa, camera spaziosa, ottimo bagno e bella doccia (con il plus della vasca). La struttura era nel verde ed era dotata di ogni comfort. Prezzi leggermente alti per la media balinese ma nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene. Ottima la possibilità di ordinare pranzo e cena in camera.

Acqua della “piscina” molto fredda e troppo ricca di cloro. Presenza di moltissimi insetti che comunque è inevitabile data la posizione

Le personnel est très gentil et le petit déjeuner est très bon ! À 5 minutes à pied des restaurants et supermarchés mais très au calme !

La 2ème chambre est située à l’étage et il faut passer par l’extérieur pour y accéder (ce qui n’est pas précisé dans l’annonce) ce qui n’est pas très rassurant avec des enfants en bas âge.

Room was great and clean, big comfy bed, breakfast was yummy, the staff were very friendly, view was perfect and location was quiet but not too far from restaurants, shops, markets. All in all the accommodation and staff were amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Will go back there again soon.

It is a nice secluded location and the villas are decent. Not super updated but manageable. Breakfast is decent and the staff is helpful.

Excellent value, great location near a rice paddy, easy to access Ubud central, the staff were extremely accommodating taking us on bikes. Wonderful breakfasts daily, just loved it

Twin bed availablility would have been good as there with a friend, but not a big issue.

Good breakfast and our kids loved the private pool. Everything was great and the owners were friendly. We didn’t realise that the three rooms are actually seperate buildings all within the same enclosed private compound but that was fine and fun for kids. Only slight negative was that one of the rooms smelt damp and musty but the other 2 were fine so we just used those 2 as our youngest wanted to sleep on the couch in our room rather than by herself in the musty smelling room. Our 2 boys loved having their own room. Overall was pretty good value

Our stay at this Villa was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to departing, we loved it. The hosts were so attentive, making sure we had our breakfast order in, checking if our room needs cleaning and making sure we are.enjoyjng our time. The villa is brand new and we could bave easily moved in! There is everything you need, from full kitchen, big bathroom, very comfortable bed and beautiful private pool. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and just out of Ubud central but in walking distance (well for us as we love walking). Otherwise you can get a short scooter ride into the main area. Breakfast was delicious especially the Uma Padi smoothie - we could have drank those all day. The host kindly looked after our luggage on our last day and arranged a transfer to the airport and the driver was excellent. If we visit Ubud again we will definitely stay here again, we loved it!

We adored this little villa right on the rice field, perfect size for a little couple getaway with perfect amount of privacy- staff extremely helpful and very friendly, organising our dinner and personal massages as soon as we checked in (I might add we didn’t arrive til 7pm) Overall, excellent service, lovely villa, very happy with our stay.

Good location, a little away from the center but still easy reacheble on foot. Pleasant neighbourhood will eutentic look and rise feelds. Good service and friendly, helpfull hosts. Best memories from Uma Padi.

Family run motel with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful private pool. Supplied breakfast was very nice. Staff was extremely helpful in organising activities. Our driver was very insightful and provided us with lots of knowledge of local customs. Would definitely recommend Uma Padi for a relaxing stay in Bali.

We loved our stay at Uma Padi Villa with our 4 young kids, so much so that no one wanted to leave. The hosts were so helpful with any questions we had. I had read reviews about limited breakfast choices but the breakfast of fresh smoothies, fruit platter and the choice between American, pancakes & local breakfast were so delicious. It was more food than we could get through every morning. We loved the location being tucked away from the busy part of Ubud but close enough to walk (ordering a bike or car on grab was by far the easiest option). It was quiet at night for sleeping which was a lovely change after being in Seminyak which was so noisy at night. It was nice just to walk to the end of the lane/street and walk through the local rice fields. The top rooms had a beautiful view of the rice fields and surrounding villas. It was so pretty.

All the rooms were standalone / not adjoining so that can be tricky when you're staying with young kids. We made this work by putting our 2 oldest kids in a room together then my husband and I each shared a room with our 2 youngest kids.

We loved staying at Umi Padi Villas next to some rice paddies. Our villa was spectacular and within walking distance to stores, restaurants and all the things you’d want to do. There are some fabulous small restaurants and massage places a few steps from Umi Padi which we really enjoyed.

Lots of mosquitoes and bugs so wasn't great to sit outside, could use some repellants around the place.

The villa was a lovely design. The pool was terrific and we enjoyed living alfresco. The bedrooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly. It was in a quiet area of Ubud off the main road.

The shower pressure and hot water was a bit irregular. The road getting in to Ubud is busy and hectic for walking so we found a walking track parallel to the main road.

Loved it. Perfect stay for being close to ubud but not deep in the busy area. Perfect for relaxing and the staff were amazing. So accomodating and lovely. I already miss uma padi already. the breakfast is fantastic too.

First things first. Thank you Nyoman, you got us everywhere. Tucked in a calm corner of Ubud, this really felt like a home away from home. Close enough to everything in Ubud, including the Monkey Forest. Family owned and authentic feeling. The view of the rice field was beautiful. Others have spoken about how the next villa, which is two floors, looks over this one bed villa. They've taken care of that by adding more foliage between the two. So, absolute privacy. From the smiling pick up at the airport, which in our case had to be rescheduled on the fly, to the smiling drop off at the other villa we stayed at in Seminyak, Nyoman and the rest of his family took amazing care of us. If you want to stay in Ubud, I can't recommend this villa more.

The property is not in the hustle and bustle and overlooks rice terraces. Private pool and balcony are great for relaxing.

Breakfast was very good. Only 3 options to choose from but all food was served fresh and on time. Location is good for Ubud area in the middle of the village with around 30-45 min driving to anywhere within Ubud.

Great villa to stay in. Family owned business, with nice owner who was really helpful. Villa is only a short walk from few restaurants, gym nearby. Definitely will stay again. Great price-quality ratio.

Room was not very clean when we arrived. After we asked for a in deep clean was ok.

We rented the 3 apt villa for a family of 6. It was not clear in the description that the rooms were all separate and one was upstairs. The living spaces are outdoors. It was very spacious but we had planned on being more together like you would in a house. The bathrooms were not clean, lots of mildew. The staff was friendly and helpful. Often felt rushed at breakfast due to over eagerness for staff to remove plates and dishes. Wished they would just remove once we were done eating. There is no longer a shuttle service as described in the Expedia review so we had to call for rides. Staff also arranged a driver for us when we were departing.

It was nice and quiet. Lovely to sit on the upstairs balcony and watch the ducks feeding in the rice fields. The pool was very welcoming after a walk. Breakfast was brought to our villa every morning at the time we requested.

If you keeps the light on will brings many insect to swim with you. And the private pool are not that private when there is neighbour opposite your bed view.

Pictures are very rosy but the property is very old and not very clean. There was nothing in the bathroom so as to lock the door, this has created lot of inconvenience.

Location of the property is in a very narrow street. Streets have no lights snd it becomes scary after 7 or 7:30pm. Lot of mosquitoes and ants in the room that everyday we had to request staff to wipe out the huge clusters of ants. We did not like the breakfast so we have asked the Staff to cancel the breakfast from next day and we tried to confirm if they will adjust the price. They did not clarified that they would adjust the amount rather they said that they have not charged anything yet and would consider later. However later they threatened us and forced us to pay everything. We were scared in a foreign country and paid. If they could have been clear that they wont adjust the breakfast amount then we could have atleast ordered the part of the breakfast like fruit platter and juices. We have paid the breakfast prices for 7 people for 3 days without having anything. They threatened us to pay.

The serenity and the beauty

There were many ants around the place and also when the staff serve our breakfast there’s ants in the food. Also, should consider more options for breakfast as it is very limited choices.

The host and all staff were very accommodating. They were responsive to our requests ensuring that we get excellent services. The host’s recommendation of places to visit was superb.

The villa was beautiful and the staff were amazing.

The villa was incredible. Private pool. Two levels with balcony overlooking a rice patty field. Outdoor living area. Stunningly beautiful. And the best part of the Villa however was our driver, Ariawan "Ari". Ari picked us up from the airport and drove us wherever we wanted for our 3 day stay in Ubud. He gave us great recommendations on places to go. During our drives he told us lots of info about the fascinating history and culture of Bali. He happily answered my many questions too. He even drove us to Nusa Dua and spent a full day there driving us around. His prices were quite affordable. I highly recommend the Villa and Ari's driving services. Our vacation would not have been as enjoyable without him.

We love the staff here all so friendly and helpful, lovely big Villa and driver Nyoman is amazing, lots of information he gives you while driving and always willing to take you whenever and wherever. We will definitely be back
