Village Cave House Hotel

HI, I've been in a cave hotel in Matera Italy. This one you can not compare is a magic place every morning you wake up. A good location a fantastic view the owner Onur will do anything he can you to feel comfortable and well come. I was impressed with their service 'no need to go into details' one thing i can say you feel home. The Air Balloons booking was done in advance by him and assured I have my reserved day. The hotel location is in the centre city of Gorem where by walking you can walk either for a gelato or a snack or just wondering around and look to those big huge mushrooms, something rarely to see unique places. My trip was to locate a good cave hotel which I did and the Air Balloons trip which successfully accomplished. I feel very lucky to able to do this trip.

Good experience in cave house. Nice view from our room. I could see many balloons in every morning. It was nice memory in Cappadocia.

Fantastic stay! We stayed there as a girls trip and we wanted to visit Capadoccia to see the hot air balloons. The staff is so helpful and wonderful! The bedroom is wonderful and I highly recommend the hotel! Breakfast was also delicious and I highly recommend the Turkish coffee of Aytep. It was the best Turkish coffee I ever had !!!!

Very lovely hotel in a fantastic town. Could watch the balloons every morning right from our front porch, or if you want a short 5-10 minute walk uphill to sunset point. Would highly recommend this place. A true cave hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights and had a cosy and welcoming stay throughout. The room is spacious and it feels cooling even in the summer. The perks of staying in a cave hotel. The bed has the right firmness for me and comfortable bedding. Every night was a good night rest for me. Communication with Mr Onur via WhatsApp was a breeze. It was easy to arrange airport transfer and it costs 360 TL per way for each person. The pickup service was a shared service with others from different hotels which are mostly close by. The hotel is on an elevated hill which offers a spectacular view of the major streets in Goreme. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the different levels and types of outdoor seatings in the terrace to take in the breathtaking view. On a side note, the toilet bowl was lacking water and ants were found building nest in the lavatory. Which the hotel was informed and I believe they will take further actions to resolve it. Not forgetting the breakfast selection is decent and flavorful. The hotel is quite close to the city centre, approximately 5 minutes downhill walk. In all, the hotel is valued for money and a relaxing stay.

Very cool. This is not just a hotel, it is an experience. Views are fantastic. 2 minute walk to downtown Goreme.

If you plan to photograph the balloons this hotel is perfectly located. The exterior walls of the structure are covered with terraces which offer outstanding views. The balloons are front-lit from this side of the valley, showing their best color and they seem to drift right over your room. It's an easy walk to many good restaurants. Unfortunately the staff seemed unable to fix the faulty WiFi or to remember to ask the owner to reset the router. However, the thoughtful hotel owner provided “taxi service” to a second hotel in Goreme . (Local taxis don’t drive around town. 🤷‍♀️ )

This hotel is the best located in Goreme. The views are incredible and the location is right by the city center, shops, restaurants and more. It is a REAL cave hotel and has many terraces to view the balloons in the morning. It does not get crowded! It was so easy to communicate with the hotel prior to my arrival and they helped me book my balloon flight, which was the best! The owner Onur offered incredible hospitality along with Hakan, they were always attentive and ready to help with anything I needed. Look no further and book your stay!! I cant wait to be back!

If you are in Goreme, get the Best location at Village cave house hotel. It’s actually made in Caves. With excellent view . You can see full view from the balcony of the whole city and enjoy watching hot air balloons sipping tea Early at 5 am.. The owner Mr Onur has kept the property clean, affordable .

I had a truly lovely experience in Capadocia in this hotel: lovely food, lovely people, amazing guide. 10/10 experience. I would totally recommend it to everyone. Very organised place and always on point. They are very hospitable and kind.

We had an oustanding 5-day stay at Village Cave House. This true family hotel located just below Sunset View hill boasts amazing rooms carved in the rocks with access to terraces overlooking Göreme. Owner Onur went out of his way to help us secure a balloon flight during our stay despite a weather-related cancellation on our scheduled date. He also gave us plenty of tips and explanations and what to do and see, as Cappadocia has a lot to offer beyond the main touristic points, like Soganli valley, Gümüsler monastery or Açik Saray in Gülsehir. Coming back at this hotel after a day of discoveries had a homy feeling that is worth a lot!

This was a very unique hotel that blended with the history of the area. The staff were very hard working, friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so luggage has to be carried up to the rooms. The bed was not a modern bed. Our bathroom had a shower only, no tub. Breakfast was included but no cook to order hot food. This hotel had the very best views of the town, the hot air balloons that pass by in the morning, and sunset. We could see the town from the balcony of our room. It was a wonderful experience staying here!

Excellent and authentic rooms that are actually real caves adapted for a pleasant stay. An ideal location ten minutes from the center and just as many from one of the panoramic views. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Even though the balloon flights were canceled due to weather conditions, they immediately responded to our request and booked us on a flight to another location (1 hour from Goreme). At the last minute, we asked to go on the red tour, to which Onur immediately responded and booked us places. When we asked for a rent a car, we had a vehicle available in 15 minutes. I fully recommend it to anyone looking for authentic rooms, beautiful views and very helpful staff.

Village Caves House Hotel, was turned out to be a welcoming hotel very homely with homemade and tasty meals. The rooms are confortable and spacious. Abdi and Ayten welcomed us wonderfully and we were treated like kings. Thank you so much, ❤️

One of the best experiences I've ever had. The rooms and common spaces are beautiful. The service was completely exceptional! Abdi, Ayten and Fati are absolutely extraordinary. I don't remember being treated as well in any country as by these gentlemen. The food was delicious, great quality and good presentation. Congratulations. The Village Cave House Hotel exceeded our expectations! We could watch the sunset from our private patio and also see the hot air balloons early in the morning. The service was great too. We were able to book our airport transportation through the hotel and our balloon ride. Highly recommend!

The management contacted me offering transportation from the airport. I replied providing the information of my flight and accepting the shuttle service. They never acknowledged my messages and did not provide any transportation. The hotel claims to have a restaurant, which is false: there is no restaurant or bar on the premises. The room had no closet, just two hangers on the wall, and no proper lights. Breakfast was rather poor. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Amazing cave hotel built into the top of Goreme, perfect for viewing balloons and access to Sunset Point. Most of all great and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean and delightful space.

This is a great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff and beautiful views from the rooms, balconies and roof terraces of the area and early in the morning you can see the hot air balloons flying over. The location is also great. Close to shops and restaurants.

Good hostility

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed is so relaxing. Breakfast was perfect- delicious and abundant. Tea was open servc thru out the day. Service was excellent. Friendly, prompt and helpful. The manager made extra effort to accommodate our unscheduled guest both for room availability and transport service to and from the airport. We will definitely come back to this place.

The property is situated in a convenient location, close to all local amenities. Beautiful view of Cappadocia and hot air balloon. It’s a family run business and all the members were very friendly and good to us. They helped our trip be more relaxed and homely. The place was exactly like the pictures, the owner was very friendly and booked us on a hot air balloon tour with ease, and it was a great experience. The location is awesome , walking distance to the main square and everything was great ! Definitely recommend

The hotel is very nice with great rooms. Its a very amazing place inside the rock formations. It looks as on pictures nothing to argue there :) We had a pleasent stay

Yatak ve banyo temiz degildi, kahvaltı çok zayıftı. Konum olarak güzeldi. Beklentimin altında kalan bir konaklama oldu.

Hafif rutubet kokusu vardı. Rahatsız ediciydi. Temizlik yönünden oldukça vasat. Kahvaltısı ortalamanın altında. Otelin konumu merkezi ve güzel. Sabahları balonları izleyebilmek için çok uygun bir konumda. Manzarayı otelden fotoğraflayabilmek güzeldi.

Oda gayet güzel bir şekilde temizlenmişti, odamızın önünde kendine özel vadi izleme alanı vardı ve camdan baktığında bütün vadi ve balonlar görülebiliyordu. Göreme merkeze yürüme mesafesi ve konum gayet iyiydi. Tek kötü yorumum açık büfe kahvaltı verilmesine, kahvaltı gayet güzel ve galoş eldivenlerle koyulabilir olsa da açık büfe olması bizi biraz tedirgin etti.

Great place to stay and awesome terraces. Clean, spacious rooms and delicious breakfast. The bro's Mustafa and Onur were always available to help with anything - eg car rental, airport transfers, even 1am check-in with no fuss! We stayed, then travelled to eastern Turkey, and returned because this accommodation and the hosts were so good.

진짜 동굴호텔에서 지내는 경험은 좋았어요. 근데 너무 습하고 침구가 낡고 오래되서 찝찝했어요. 그리고 화장실 시설은 보기에는 좋아보였는데 너무 더러워서 욕조는 쓰지도 못했어요. 물틀면 찌꺼기 같은 것들이 막 나와요 ㅜㅜ 그리고 비수기라그런지 춥다고 두번 말했는데도 라디에이터를 틀어주지 않았고 전기 난로 하나만 갖다줘서 짜증났어요.

洞窟のホテルなので少し照明は暗いですが、慣れるととても快適です。 部屋からの眺めと部屋の前からの眺めはとてもよく、毎日気球が見れます。ホテルの人もみんな親切で快適です。朝日と夕日が見れるスポットまでもとても近くて便利。町までも近くて便利です。

Great location, and very friendly staff. Staying cave house was a very interesting and new experience for me. FYI, the terrace belong to this hotel is not enough to take a picture of air bolloon. You should go 'sunset point' which is right behind of this hotel.

Great hotel! The service given was fantastic. We were in our room in just a few minutes from arrival. The guy who checked us in made us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant just down the hill. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Lots of steep stairs but the view from our room was great!

We booked the village cave house for our stay in cappadoccia for two days and it was the most amazing experience ever - when we arrived from our airport we were greeted by Tahir who helped us with everything that we needed for our stay- and made sure we were comfortable. Over all the hotel has a comfortable dreamlike atmosphere - from the cave rooms to the veranda for breakfast. We were very pleased with our stay here and would definetly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing, once in a lifetime experience at the Village Cave House Hotel! It is a such beautiful, ideally located, family-owned (including an adorable puppy!) property with everything you could ask for. Our room had a fantastic soaker jacuzzi tub that served us very well after the sunset horseback ride that we were able to book through reception. We were also able to book and attend a traditional Whirling Dervish show, which was well worth it. The included breakfast was the same every day, but I quite enjoyed all the cheeses, fruits, and little pastries, as well as the lovely Turkish tea that was offered. The hotel is located right below the panoramic viewpoint of Goreme, meaning that simply walking out onto our room's terrace gave us the best views of the city, including the magical daily sunrise hot air balloon flights. The owner's father doesn't speak much English, but he was kind enough to drive us past the panoramic viewpoint to a vineyard that he manages, where we got even better views of the surrounding rock formations, as well as some tidbits of information on the area! One night, he also invited us for some delicious locally made wine, which we enjoyed while chatting about all the different artifacts that they have in the hotel, including two 200-year old muskets! I think it was these extra little touches that made our stay so incredibly impactful. We highly recommend the hotel and would love to return in the future!

It was such a great experience to live in a hotel carved in a cave. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful in booking our tours around Cappadocia and organizing shuttles to and from the airport for us. We really enjoyed our stay!!!. I would recommend this place to friends.

We had a great experience staying in the Cave House Hotel. The room was comfortable, location was very close to the center and staff very super friendly and helpful. For the cave room, it literally is a cave, thus with a small window expect to have a very little daylight. Nevertheless, seating on the terrace offers all the daylight and a great view over the city. While the breakfast was overall good, hot food wasn't served in a heat preserving setting, thus got cold very quickly. Overall, recommend this hotel for a stay.

This hotel is well situated in Goreme town and is a couple meters walk from restaurants, tour agencies and shops. It is a real cave hotel and it makes the stay there very exciting. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpfull. They even let me to check in a lot earlier then I was supposed to and gave me breakfast. The receptionist kindly helped me to arrange a day tour around Cappadocia. My stay in this hotel was even better then i expected and I am really looking forward to come back there again!!!
