The property is in a great area. Great beach area.
Room did not have any washcloths, kitchen towels or soap for kitchenette. Hard to get a chair or lounge at any of the pools or beach if you arrive after 8 am
Everything, good location, good food nice and clean rooms and very friendly staff.

El hotel ofrece mucho que hacer. y su cercanía con los otros hoteles de la misma cadena hace que sea una experiencia mas placentera. La comida y las actividades estuvieron bastante buenas. 10 de 10.
The location was excellent, right on the beach. Close to restaurants.
We had to ask for water every day. The first day, one of our 2 bottles of drinking water was already opened. The second day, no water was brought. I know we could have called down for water but by then we were a little disillusioned and tired. The sound level was far beyond acceptable levels, even with the door closed. There was a gap around the door so closing it didn’t reduce the outside noise at all. We were originally on the 7th floor of Oceano and the noise of the equipment on the roof was so loud we couldn’t sleep. We moved to the third floor and it was not quite as loud, but the entertainment went on way past the posted time. Karaoke lasted for what felt like hours, past 9 pm and at a very high volume. We were constantly shorted towels. The cleaners took away our bath mat and hand towel and never replaced them. We went from having 3 bath towels to only 2. The rooms were dated and needed paint. The floors always felt gritty and we had to wipe our feet before getting into bed. In the 6 nights we stayed there, we only had hot water for showers once. We eventually forfeited our room and moved over to Luna Palace with a new reservation. It was much quieter and cleaner.
Everyone was so Nice and Friendly , felt safe very clean
I mentioned that the exit from the small pool was not safe, exposed rocks and garbage accumulating . I suggested mor sand and better overal cleanliness around the beach chairs. I am Canadian and we do not leave stuff lying around, we do not butt cigarettes in the sand
The company is a group of 3 hotels, one besides the other one, the booking was for made for the tower as it says in the name of the property, and the accommodation was in the cheapest complex of the group, it was supposed to have fridge on the room and barely had soap in the washroom.
Limpio y muy seguro
Nice place. I'd definitely recommend it
Views were phenomenal especially when they moved us to Luna after double booking Pacific Palace room & was much quieter at Luna
The place is good . A little too far from the Malacon area , but it’s a good stay . Staff was very good . Fast service too when room service was requested . The Parkin not too big . But overall good stay .
This is my go to every time I go to Mazatlan....my favorite place!!!
Super overcrowded and definitely not the tranquil photo as seen anywhere online. This is a very low priced all you and can eat and drink. Communication was extremely difficult. Kids were everywehere. Very overcrowded. Every person brought their own thermal mug up to the bar and they FILLED it to the top with booze. Because of the pricing, there were so many kids and it was so overcrowded I could hardly get anything.
Great beach!! Excellent for a relaxing family vacation! Very friendly staff and the best food!
Ok
This hotel is a 3-meals package deal with the room. They put a wrist band on you, gives you meals (mostly poor quality) and cheaper well drinks in the bar. Lots of noise both in the hotel and on the beach (roving brass bands imposing their excessively loud sounds whether welcome or not, some call it culture, others call it obnoxious). We’d booked tower rooms for our family, but on arrival found others had been given our rooms. Rooms have nice views but are very plain and utilitarian, not remotely close to being luxurious or worth the exorbitant costs. There are better beach hotels to the south.
The ocean palace is in bad shape and needs to be renovated. It was a subpar location very downmarket.
Stayed at neighboring hotels. 4 nights at the Pacific Ocean palace and 5 at the Luna Palace. The Luna was far superior. The ocean palace needs a complete renovation.
Filthy, toilet leaked, room smelt horrible, they wouldn’t refund or swap rooms, other guests say they would never stay there again. We left and went to another hotel.
Nowhere to get away from all of the noise ! Crowded, noisy, pleasant staff, small understanding of english, screaming ninios! Would never come back...it was Day of the Dead week which is a busy week here...
Over crowded, staff not helpful, food was cafeteria grade at best. Very disappointing experience.
just now on Google The rooms look tired and smell like bathroom toilet. Pillows are old worn and small, has the feel of a cheap motel. They call it a resort and this does not come close except for the food. They don't change the air conditioner filters which are dirty and circulate the dirty smelly air. The smell sticks to your clothes. I keep my suit case locked. I will not take my clothes out. Sad I can't change hotels since I'm not paying for it, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who has a sensitive nose and an eye for hygiene. I purchased a room deodorizer at Walmart and two cans of spray disinfectante and the smell is entwined in the bed sheets the pillows and the curtains. I can't try and air out the room a little because their is a night club out front and it's music is so loud that it reaches the 14 floor where I am. They put these smelly old throw blankets on the bed for decoration and they are from the 70's. Don't waist your money. Go to a holiday inn or a known American hotel chain where they have quality standards.
Area is good
The structure itself leaves much to be desired. It needs a lot of repairs and the staff just puts bandaids on everything. The dining was not good at all. I’ve stayed at the palace resorts in Cancun and this is NOTHING like the Palace resorts in Cancun. I was extremely disappointed. I paid more money thinking it would be the same but NOTHING like the palace resorts in Cancun. I was extremely disappointed for what I paid for, I have always used Expedia and have never had an issue but I was extremely disappointed this time.
The hotel is descent. Small and the pool is very very small with very little pool area and beds as well as the beach area is reduced with a small number of places to lay down and enjoy. The hotel is clean for the most part, I had to ask multiple times to have towels delivered for they forgot my foot towel and hand towels on the daily. As far as noise, out neighbors were four families which got together for dinner every night with noisy kids and music until very late at night. Seems like they got drunk and let the kids run wild. Called and reported them to security multiple times until I had to get up and knock on their door to tell them to stop in a not so nice way. After having called security twice around 1 am was the last call and they did absolutely nothing. I doubt Ill be going back to this property after this experience.
There are two good things I can say about our stay at the Pacific Palace, the sunset view from our balcony was mesmerizing and the cleaning staff was on the ball. Besides that, our room made our trip exhausting. Every night it seemed like the Mexico National Futbol team was playing hide and seek in the hallways with doors slamming and laughter and singing until 3am. Then we'd get an early morning wake up call at 5am with much of the same behavior with a phone alarm added in for extra spice. I understand the tile floors cause things to echo, but it was quite ridiculous. We called the front desk one night to complain and we had a reprieve from the noise for approximately one glorious hour. After a night of no sleep, expecting a refreshing shower shouldn't be too much right? But alas, the shower would get luke warm at best. I've seen other reviewers complain about the noisy brass bands. I would much rather listen to those soothing sounds compared to what we've had to put up for the last 4 days
The room had a very nice city view
Very disappointing. Both pools were so packed we couldn’t use them. Food in cafeteria was low quality (so many dishes and salads with hotdogs??). We had a junior suite with a kitchenette but there weren’t any kitchen tools or dishes. Room had very thin walls so we could hear everything from next door. The worst part was how overcrowded it was and the lack of dining options options. We would never recommend.
Multiple amenities were down when we arrived. The staff members we’re not helpful or friendly. The place was clean but the customer service the place offered was nothing that made it inviting to stay over again. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a vacation to spend solely at the hotel. Luckily, I have family in the city so I used the hotel to sleep only. Otherwise, you’re probably better off finding something with better customer service.
room was clean, hot water
It's ok, close to restaurants and others attractions, but in front of the hotel is a nightclub.. Noisy !! And the pools were dirty …
Great stay. Clean. Staff friendly. Good food and entertainment. Pool was very full of people but it was a holiday weekend we realized later.
Staff very friendly and quick respond to any concerns or requests. Room was very spacious
This is only the second time that I send a negative review , one for a restaurant in Seattle and this on , I’m also is the same industry everything went wrong from the smelly bathroom the the water pressure very poor service from the staff etc even the safe box breaks down several times and it needed to be completely open and replace a piece on the inside a50 minute repair, just stay away is a very bad hotel, I will call Expedia to consider removing this hotel from there page , sincerely stay away, Jhon
Great service and Ac in the rooms were perfect with the heat
Check in was the worst experience ever the reseptionist had the worst attitude ever i made a mistake on the number of people in check in and they offered no solution to it and had me waiting a hour before checking me in, my sandals were stolen on the pool side and i was simply blamed for leaving them un un atended, if your looking for a quite stay this is not it there are a few bars across the street and you will not be anle to sleep with all the noise, i tried to speak with a manager about this terrible service and i was denied because he was not available
En genral todo bien por el precio
Love that it’s right on the beach
The ocean view was excellent!!!
The location was great. The service great , friendly and English spoken, close to restaurants and shopping, buses and taxi’s close. A few things things I didn’t care for 1) not enough chairs on the beach, we tried to save some by going down early in the morning but when we returned someone had taken them. Another thing is we didn’t get to use the pools they were so crowded, and lastly the bed was hard as a rock, other than that it was great I would stay at again but maybe at the Luna Palace because it seemed more quiet.
Nice place to stay right on the beach. The all inclusive is a good deal but the buffet could change up the menu a bit more.
En esta temporada muchos huéspedes haciendo mucho ruido a media noche y en la madrugada es entendido hiban a divertirse El hotel muy bien
Very nice hotel, clean, close to some restaurants and shopping places, next to the beach
Horrible. Hotel itself it ok, but to check in took 3 hours. It’s overcrowded. Pool is nasty filled with tons of little kids in diapers. Buffet is a joke. If your husband is hungry and you are not, they going to make sure you will not take one French fry off his plate. They watch you chew your food. Horrible. The bar itself is ok. The stuff one particular person named Sebastian Kevin is a pig. He hit on my wife while she was on the beach by telling her to kiss him and he will bring her a free drink. He is disgusting person who shouldn’t work at any hotels. He was hitting on her the whole time we were there but that was too much. When we brought it up with manager, no one seemed to find one..lack of English is a big minus. One girl spoke English and she said what he did was inappropriate and he will be fired but days later he still working the bar serving alcohol to people at the beach. Sebastian Kevin. Goes by Kevin.
Great view. Right in front of the beach. The service was great. Everybody so nice. The only bad thing is that there was too many people staying. Hard to control customers not using face masks. One elevator was broken, so it was a pain to wait for it.
Estuvimos 5 noches con el sol inclusive! 1.
Great location and very cheap transportation. Really good food was hard to find.
Our view was gorgeous Clean and on top of the COVID 19
Loved its location! Right on the beach and near many good restaurants. They were always cleaning and were up to following safety procedures due to Covid-19. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially Jacob S.and his supervisor, not to mention the information desk staff. They were genuinely concerned for us and went out of their way to help us.I can not say Thank-you enough!
Nice view, large room but we had a problem getting the room cleaned
Nice clean room, good for families, couples. All inclusive was decent, make sure to try the crispy shrimp tacos at the Sunset resturante.
did not have a room for us
We were assigned the 5th floor. I asked if possible, to give us a higher floor. We got the 14th Floor. The panoramic views from the balcony were astonishing; Amazing. We stayed for hours and hours in the balcony just looking at the beach, the city lights, the 2 islands directly in front, the long coast and ocean waves washing ashore in front of the other beach front properties as well as ours. It was just amazing; I am lost for words. I have stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Rome, Italy overlooking the Vatican and the view from their balcony did Not Compared to the view from the Pacific Palace. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.
Fun friendly and everything was very convenient.
Only two channels on the TV - Fox News (ALL TRUMP ALL THE TIME) and Fox Movies - (ALL ALMOST AS OLD AS ME).
Muy bonito hotel y los servicios buenos tambien
slow check in, rude staff
Great stay
Check in process is too confusing, there must be check in sign of some sort.
I didn’t like the fact that the air conditioner was not working properly! It did not cool the rooms!
Noise from the bars across the street loud music until 2:00 am every night
Very clean hotel, great ocean view and newer style, large room. Beds were very firm. I did not eat at the hotel, prefered to venture out and there were lots of nearby choices. Diego's next door played great music every afternoon, on weekends it was very loud until midnight so if that is an issue ask for a room away from there. The pool is ok, small, and the hot tub was nice. There is a larger pool at the attached Oceana Hotel. I would stay there again!
I liked everything in this Hotel The only thing I didn't like was the rocky beach front. In general this property is great. Safe and lots to do around
Overall, the stay was OK. When we first checked in, the room had ants so we were moved. The biggest problem was the music/noise from the beach bar. I can accept some music etc., however, some nights they went to past 1:00 AM and blasted the speakers towards the hotel we were in. The other problem is the rooms don't seem to be sound proof and you can hear everything from the next room or from down the hall. Hot water was a challenge also at times. Having said those things, the hotel employees are excellent and really work hard to please the guests. This is the second time we stayed here, however, due to the noise and the lack of sound proofing we are not likely to stay here again.
Nice sized room with fridge and microwave. Hot water in shower was lukewarm at busy times. Room doors slam shut making for loud noises. Good value, though. Walking distance to Pacho’s on the Northern end.
That is was on the beach.... We were hassled upon checking in and told I would have to pay extra for my wife. I refused and had to sneak her in until I was able to address it with the manager the next day. It was straightened out but caused us both additional stress we didn't need. The safe required servicing, the bathroom sink backed up with water everything you ran it, and we lost power for a few hours with no water which was very troublesome. The maid woke us up knocking on our door at 7:45 am mistaking our room and a toilet paper request with some other room... had to insist on a do not disturb hanger for the door. When the maid cleaned our room she left the balcony door unlocked so security was definitely compromised.... I think overall there was way too many issues to micromanage that would ever prompt me back into booking this place ever again.
Night clubs across the street can keep you up late because it is loud in the city view rooms. No notice was given to us and our room had no water for anything (washing hands, showers, flushing toilets, etc.) for at least 6 hours. Rooms were clean, had a full size fridge and microwave.
The staff spoke very good English. They are all very happy and eager to please. I would definitely pay the extra for the breakfast buffet because they start serving at 730am. The town of Mazatlan starts waking up around 9am to noon. We did not see any vendor or restaurant open early. Also, the street vendors and restaurants close to this hotel are great. When we return for another visit to Mazatlan, we will definitely stay at the Pacific / Ocean Towers.
Beautiful hotel would stay again
Loved the hotel and food there. The pools are perfect for kids! Will definetly come back !
Really enjoyed our 3 nite stay in junior suite & lovely beach & mountain view
Everything was good and comfortable. Thanks.great personal and friendly
...newer large beachfront hotel...well maintained...friendly staff...2 pools: one larger family pool one smaller mostly adult pool...nice gym...shopping/ resturants nearby...access to two other hotels nearby.
It was a good place to stay
Hotel right on beautiful beach! It was noisy from club across the street that blasted music until 2 am. Hotel clean, nice pools. Do not stay on the street side due to noise.
Check in experience not good. Staff not friendly. Very rude. Room was dirty, bathroom had multiple hairs and no towels left. Michelle was the only helpful person. One person can't do it all. The front desk Mgr. should have shame of his terrible service. it took more than 1 hour to get towels?
The staff at the pool is disrispectfull they talk to you like you are at a prison not a hotel they lock the utencils in the room every day and try to hold deposit for anything
Nice hotel on the beach staff was excellent and accommodating.
My room had a leak that got our shoes wet. Management was horrible in handling the situation. Their customer service is bad. They didn't offer any compensation for our damaged shoes. When I asked about they told me nothing they could do. We stayed there 5 days, with the AC working halfway. Super noisy because it was plugged and it was the reason it leaked so much. I'm very disappointed of the service here. As the hotel itself is very nice and great location. It is unbelievable that it is owned by the governor and they still treat tourists this way.
Get your lounge chair early, nice place, clean with friendly staff, on the beach.
Ok but needs some maintenance water liks broke facet, breakfast included?? was continental breakfast that is not breakfast.
Had the ocean view jr suite. Of course, an ocean view is always nice! The room was well equipped with a microwave and fridge. I was able to pick up a few groceries and stick to my meal plan. The washroom is spacious.
Great location, the staff was very friendly and the room was very roomy and modern. It smelled very clean when we got there. Love how they do their part to raise awareness to help spur planet. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice resort. Nice restaurant with real Mexican music next to the main pool. Great view of the beach. Safe. No complaints.
Hotel staff were so helpful & accommodating. Hotel is quite new & decor was lovely. Great restaurant with great buffet breakfast at attached sister hotel. We picked a room that had a kitchen but there was no ability to cook except a microwave so that was disappointing. Nice big fridge & enough dishes/utensils. Beds were a little hard even though they were pillowtops. Bar restaurant next door had great music pretty much every night so if you would find the noise annoying, the rooms with ocean view might not work for you. We enjoyed the good music ourselves!
A class above the norm as far as beachside hotels are concerned. Nice, spacious rooms and excellent service from staff make this among the better choices along the Mazatlan beachfront in the Zona Dorada.
Very cheap prices but has a beautiful view of the beach
Comfortable hotel with paper thin walls. You can hear your next door neighbours talking and the hair dryer going. The pool and hot tub appeared very milky so we didn't go in it. The beach is a great walking beach - you can walk for miles and right onto the Malacon, but it's very, very noisy with multiple tuba bands. If you enjoy music of all kinds - then this is your hotel! Not much trust given to guests. You sign for beach towels, kitchen equipment, TV remote and you can't charge drinks to your room at the outdoor bar. Good location and the staff is very willing to help. Adrian at the front desk was great!
The service at the restaurant was too slow, they took for ever to give me a plate of fruit to Go
It was a fantastic hotel with great rooms. The staff were so very friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. The front desk staff were just excellent and arranged a room change with no trouble at all. Hector at the front desk was able to assist us. We only had breakfast each day at the pool and the food was very good. The staff there also were very welcoming. If it works out, we would gladly stay here again.
Great location. Hotel was excellent
They wanted a printed copy of my confirmation. I tried giving my confirmation, showed then my email but no luck they NEEDED a copy of my email. Really!!! That was frustrating. Besides that overall ok.
Good cooking staff and waiters, but annoyed by the personnel selling tours. The beds were a little uncomfortable.
Peaceful stay again - discos across the street now seemed to only be open on the weekend. Employees are all incredible.
I would only recommend this hotel if the person stayed in an upper level room on the beach side. There are restaurants across the street from the hotel who start bands playing at 11 pm and they don't stop until 2 am. It was brutal on Wednesday night. Got no sleep, I was on the 8th floor. Demanded to be moved. Got moved to 15th floor but could still hear the music but not as bad. Other people were complaining too.
