Aphrodites Group - Luxury Hot Tub Suites in Central Lake District!

Everything

Nothing was wrong but it is an expensive night away, well worth it though!

Amenities

Everything was lovely

The staff was so lovely and friendly straight away on arrival they checked to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything they was very helpful. The property was stunning and clean had everything you needed. The bed was very comfy also. We loved the hot tubs.

They wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Its very nice i just expected more for the money I payed

The cost

Beautiful apartment with a lovely hot tub

It was a decent walk to go to the town although a taxi was £5

How close to Windermere it was

Decking and wood falling apart Curtains tied up falling apart Ironing board may aswell of been a box of cereal Charged extra for the drinks in the mini bar No instructions to use any of the steam room or anything

Hot tub and bath tub

Wasn’t the room I chose but was still nice will defo be back

The location was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in your room was a good touch, it was always on time and hot.

For the price the room we were in, room 19 the love shack was starting to look a bit tired and could do with a bit of an update. There was no sofa or chair in the room so hard to get comfortable after eating as you can only lie down.

Hot tub and bathroom were lovely the service for breakfast was brilliant.

A male member of Staff entered the apartment without notice while my partner was undressed, made zero attempt to avert his eyes or apologise. I was raging at the location as they had marked as checked out already when we actually had late check out. No apologies from the staff member this frankly ruined our stay, fortunately it was around when we were heading home. Also breakfast is misrepresented throughout, it reads as included when it isnt. However it is very good.

Hot tube very nice

Everything

Nothing

Very overrated , very expensive for what’s been offered , room was very dirty , carpets worn and hot tub was very dirty and full of leaves

Staff were nice nothing more

Very poor parking available the noise in the room from other spa tubs, wasn’t very clean shower, mis sold on description, very expensive, no luxury toiletries, left early morning wasn’t good

Beautiful surroundings , room was gorgeous

All was good , pads kept removing in the hot tub we had to keep adjusting them

Everything

Everything was great from staff, check-in, room, cleanliness etc.

Nothing

Unbelievable.

Out door tub was good room was nice

Rooms were really hot no in door aircon

An absolutely exceptional stay from start to finish. The Boutique Suite is beautifully designed, luxurious and incredibly private, making it the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Having our own sauna and hot tub made it feel even more special – the ideal place to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. Everything was finished to such a high standard, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully presented. The peaceful lakeside setting only added to the experience, creating a real sense of escape. The hosts were excellent, with great communication throughout, making everything effortless. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for a romantic, high-end retreat, this place is simply perfect. Highly recommended.

Nothing.

Great location , bed was comfy , facilities were perfect ,

For the price you pay the place should be spotless but it was still very dusty and rose petals, rainbow drops etc from the last stays , theres no sockets near any of the mirrors , the blinds arnt dark enough definetly needs curtains or blackouts , the room was very hot and yes they provided a fan but unless you like to sleep next to the sound of an aeroplane taking off then its impossible to leave the fan on way to noisy even on low setting , suites 42,43,44 of the tranquil suites if you have a 4x4 or large vehicle and theres other vehicles parked its not the biggest area to turn around very awkward

The property itself was beautiful and we love going there

There was a mishap with the rooms, upon check-in we were given the key to our room, to then be locked out of our room to be told it wasn’t ours, we ended up feeling like the staff were making it out as if it was our fault saying the other guests weren’t happy about the mistake, but neither were we. It was our 4th or 5th time at aphrodities and were celebrating my birthday and it did dampen the occasion

Worried about reviews we seen, but it was nothing lime that, it was perfect

A touch expensive for what you fet

Absolutely stunning

Nothing

People in room 9 kept me awake with the music

Quiet,excellent warm and cozy environment.

Clean loved the hot tub and spa bath great location

The room was amazing and the hot tub was incredible!

Nothing

Our suite was lovely. All clean, well presented, very luxurious.

Breakfast was ok but not great, bacon was beyond crispy, it was cremated.

So luxury my wedding night was just amazing because of staying here. Staff so friendly we had 1 small issue and they sorted it straight away.

Lack of food on site had to order a dominos or fast food

The overall place looked gorgeous on arrival but..

Our room was right next to the reception and car park didn’t feel very private. There was water in the fridge in reusable bottles which we didn’t drink. The fridge was full of ice and the kettle was full of water. Stains didn’t look pleasant so I didn’t even have a cup of tea. For the cost of £450 for one night very very disappointing. The hot tub wasn’t private. It was directly onto the car park so not private at all. We didn’t use it.

Everything was excellent

Having to leave

Beautiful cabin , very clean and the staff were amazing especially Alana , she couldn’t do enough!

Steam room did not work and we couldn’t change the colour of lights , no outside lights that worked , also the jets on the hot tub weren’t the best , all small issues but combined- annoying as the price is very high to stay , it was our 10 year anniversary so we didn’t want to start complaining and ruining our time.

Great location

I felt it didn’t quite live up to the photos and description on the internet

The room was gorgeous and very clean. The bathroom with the hot tub and bifold doors made the room so much better. Loved the bottles of water in the fridge and the bathrobes.

Bedding was lovely but just too hot, we did come on the hottest day in May though and think this would be perfect for winter.

Nothing like the pictures, needs a full renovation. Balcony area was the worst

it was a comfy bed and a cosy room

the room was not what i thought id booked and the room was very mid for the price we had paid i think it was disgraceful due because i thought i was paying for an outside hot tub area which most photos advertised and i did not receive sed room. 360 pounds for just a bed and a posh bath tub is beyond extortionate. me and my boyfriend were below content at best. an additional £30 extra for breakfast in the morning was a little steep, we had already paid £360 for just the room for one night. Yes the facilities were clean and lovely but the room itself were not worth the overall price for one night.

Location is great, short drive to Gilly’s landing. The rooms are decorated very tastefully, very comfortable bed

Room 9 was a bit noisy with people coming up and down the stairs and voices from reception could be heard early in the morning which woke us up. The bathroom fire door was annoying every time either of us went to the toilet through the night we woke the other person up with the noise of the door opening and the toilet flushing. The shower head is way too small for the size of shower and for the size of the bathroom in general, it would look so much better with a rain shower head which doesn’t cost that much. The shower is starting to mould in places too. The big circle on the ceiling above the bed which I presume was a light doesn’t work, there was a strip of led lights in the bathroom that also didn’t work and the door out to the hot tub is looking a bit shabby needs a clean and a paint. The landing carpet upon entrance to room 9 is heavily stained, first impressions are always the lasting ones. We would return without a doubt but would choose a different room next time.

Location

Property was dirty throughout, not as it was presented on the pictures, very disappointing, I have videos of thick dust I wiped from numerous surfaces and stains on the carpet

If I had paid £120 I would have been happy with the room.

The extortionate price!!! There should be no use of the word Spa or Deluxe!!

Lovely location and view from the suite.

Building was a little tired, I don’t think this was worth the extortionate price. Hot tub was nice, but the rooms didn’t feel as pristine as they look on the photos. Not particularly luxurious. Hairs on bed throw and sofa bed. Room was also very hot

I liked everything about it, the staff were lovely and the food was amazing

I liked everything about the place

Great location, amazing room!

Comfy bed, lovely location, quiet town, not far from lakes depends what you’re going for. Lovely hot tub and spa bath experience and very private, lovely breakfast

Everything was lovely but personally wouldn’t say worth £300 for one night , I’ve stayed in lodges with lively views for half the price

Clean and relaxing

Excellent location and we could check in early, the whole experience of the space was truly special.

The hot tub was set at 41 degrees when we arrived and was way to hot to enjoy, after a couple of hours cooling down it was perfect this should of been checked beforehand The safety instructions of the hot tub stated the temperature should never exceed 40 degrees, this is a minor grievance in all.

nice and relaxing

tv in bathroom hard to work

Everything

Everything was good no complaints I think one thing you should have smoking rooms because you have to go too far too smoke

Was comfy, clean and the outside fountain was beautiful and the staff were lovely.

Great staff

Great property and stay, highly recommend to anyone. Only problem we had was eating meals within the facility, a recommendation for future is an indoor seats and table to eat meals and breakfast

Everything

Nothing

Everything

It was very clean

Being as the hot tub was in the bathroom it was difficult to sleep with the tub being on a cycle it only turned off at 4am it was a awful nights sleep. Also creaking floorboards you could hear upstairs walking around all times of the morning.

Good value for money would definitely stay again

Some mould in the room and tv didn’t work at first but they did fix it very quickly would of liked the log fire included not to pay extra

Amazing experience and stay at the Windermere Suite. Really clean, spot on facilities, and ideally located to Bowness Marina and Town Centre. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting that boutique experience. No 23 was absolutely lovely, and the hotel service and staff were excellent.

The only small thing I could say is No 23 doesn't have parking, although there's availability at the main hotel car park 150 metres away. Just be mindful walking back from the Marina or TC at night in dark up the hill as there's no street lights or paths. We managed with torch on our phones.

The location was super close to the lake, which was perfect for us. A decent-sized room with a hot tub and free parking was a nice bonus. Staff were really kind and attentive, we received a call to ask if we needed anything. Which showed they really care about their customers.

The room was super hot, so sleeping was tough. They did leave some fans, which we used. Maybe I should've realised there was no AC in our suite. WiFi was there, but it kept buffering when we tried to watch a movie. So, for these reasons and a few others I won't mention, I won't be booking this suite again. Maybe we will try another suite next time.

We can for my birthday we realy enjoyed it. Wish we had stayed for 2 nights . Also glad the hot tub was inside

Alot of noise from doors slamming. Talking Not a smart tv hardly any music channels

Location staff and customer service.

Cold room had to be given extra heater to warm room up. Netflix wouldn’t allow us to watch as too many other rooms watching. Remote on bathtub tele wasn’t waterproof not responsive. Not comfy bed. Radiator cover not fixed to wall with piece hanging off. Jacuzzi bath leaking.

Amazing staff/customer service, pristine room, perfect location lovely and quiet breakfast was outstanding paid for the birthday package was lovely presented can’t wait to be back

Beautiful interior, beautiful views very wholesome and peaceful

Everything was perfect however would be useful to have a microwave and cleaning supplies

Not a lot

The room mucky bed damaged carpets mucky and damaged

Brilliant from start to finish

Location was really close to the town of Windermere, room was really clean and nicely decorated, staff were friendly and helpful.

Hot tub could have been uncover especially during the colder seasons, wifi was quite slow in the cabin but not that big of an issue.
