Was nice and close to amenities and beach. The room was clean and breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There were people that were loud at 3 am they got locked out of their room or something and were not overly quiet about it.

Request for an iron was very prompt. Beds comfortable and easy to cool off with the a.c.

Bathroom door was missing hook - base was there but no hook for hanging. Soap bars were tiny and only 1 per bathroom.

It wasnt too far from the lake, you could walk it easily

The hotel.smeeled very bad, and very outdated.we requested an early check in and when we arrived they said our room was ready but I would have to pay an extra 20 dollars to get the key early. There is an attached restaurant that had a pretty good burger but when I saw the staff walking around and then going into the kitchen wearing dirty clothes and flip flops, it was not very appealing. We didnt bother staying we just left and drove home. They really need to work on thr smell

Was great they stay open so we could arrive late, but not cool to be charged more than quoted, and never received their email. Wish I had used booking.com and not phoned them directly to book. Missed breakfast deadline. Will not stay here again.

This place was filthy and run down. There was mud and dirt up and down the stairs and halls, dust piled up in corners, with dirt and mystery drips on the walls. The bathroom was not clean, with mold in the bathroom sink. When I went to go to sleep, I found a blood mark/stain on the comforter, which is a great indication of how the staff/owners want to present the place. Overall, this hotel is very dirty, with zero standards for cleanliness or appearances. I do not recommend staying here if you care about a clean environment. There is no Kleenex offered in the room. Breakfast is included, but you have to stay in the restaurant, which is also dirty, to eat it. First place I have ever stayed where you can't grab something to go or bring a plate back to your room. Staff was rude, unwelcoming and hard to find. I won't ever book under the Days Inn brand again. Horrible experience.

The room was very clean and the free hot breakfast was good. My room was on the third floor and the manager must have seen me struggling to carry my bags up the stairs(bad hip) on the cctv as he came to help with my bags. I'm not sure what was happening in the area as the price for the double queen room was about $40 more than the same room for the following Saturday. I had requested early check in through Expedia but it wasn't on the booking and they requested an additional $20 for a 1:30 check in instead of 3pm

Wish it had elevator...had a bad ankle at the time!! My fault should have done more research prior!!

Cold,cold room, air conditioner/heater was mounted at head of bed with a noisy fan that ran continuously. No mater where temperature was set, fan just kept rolling along.

Nice quiet place was very pleasant would recommend to anybody looking for a good place to stay for a good price . Friendly staff

The heater system was terribly loud so much so that I turned it off for night, and just lived with the cold. The noise kept me awake. In the daytime it was very hard to think with such noise!!!

The bed was clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only drawback was the fact that there was no elevator. We are seniors with health issues and we should have asked for help to carry our luggage to the third floor, but we didn’t. Our fault.

Compared to other branches, it was small and outdated, and there was no breakfast buffet. The shower water pressure was low and it took a long time to heat up.

The location is ideal ,fairly quiet being at the end of lakeshore , but still easy walk to lake or restaurants.Rooms are a little dated but clean and affordable.Been staying here 12 days in last month for work and the free breakfast is average at best ( been skipping it lately).Had dinner in restaurant a couple times ,not great.

Good location, great room!

We found the service to be quite poor, especially in the restaurant. The A/C unit was on and off all night, blowing right onto our faces- worst sleep we ever had. The rooms are small and stuffy-not as advertised online. The place definitely needs upgrades.

The room was clean and had a little kitchenette which was a pleasant surprise.

The room was very small. My room was suppose to have a sink but I couldn’t access it because the side table that my bed was pushing up against was also in front of the sink. There was no cover on the duvet either. There was hair in the tub. The balcony was an enclosed area so that the heat from the air conditioner had some where to go.

This an older building in great need of upgrades. Carpets were very dirty. Restaurant/dining area is dingy, dimly lit, dirty and has a jumble of old booth parts and pieces for seating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Bedding was dirty, hair and sand. Rooms are very small. Staff was rude. Management refused to speak with us about the issues.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. And it’s about a 20 minute walk to the town centre. Staff were very friendly too. Although the first impression from the outside of the hotel is not spectacular, I think this hotel really deserves 3 stars.

Definitely an older property. Great size for the jacuzzi suite, great kitchen. They failed to put a door on the bathroom, it’s a curtain around the toilet… so if you’re looking for a romantic getaway… this is not it

If there is no other place to stay in Sylvan Lake than it’s fine… Breakfast (eggs and sausages) were lukewarm, certainly didn’t trust the food. Room was very small with an AC unit pretty much right over the bed blowing right into our faces all night, and was very loud. Restroom in the restaurant smelled like an outhouse. Entire hotel really didn’t look like any care had been taken to keep the place looking respectable.

The room was very clean, and the beach is a short walk.

Hotel was good! Staff were friendly! Breakfast was terrible. Everything was constantly empty and not being refilled. Watched several of paying guests ( not hotel guests) leave because nobody even took order.

Pleasantly surprised. Quiet rooms with comfy beds and a renovated restaurant with good service.

There was pubes in the shower, hair dryer did not work, mold on the ceiling in the shower. Will not be returning to this property. Room 206 Aug 27 2025

Overall a nice stay..But...there is room for improvement. ...1. The banisters going up and down the stairs were sticky.....2. Breakfast on Sunday morning was just OK...boiled eggs were green as they had been left sitting for too long.

Hotel is quite run down. Carpets are old and stinky.

It was a safe and quiet space to lay our head for the night. But it’s very aged.

It was smell coming out from Carpet. AC is too noisy. Breakfast area was smell as well. Property is too old, not worth it to spend money. I would suggest to drive Red deer . Washroom shampoo, body shower was dry inside in bottle

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was generally clean, but the washroom left much to be desired. The AC was very noisy, which made it hard to relax. Breakfast was the same every day with no variety. On the positive side, the staff were super friendly and helpful, which made our stay more pleasant.

Older hotel, musty in the halls, they cover it up with plug in air fresheners. A/C is very loud and the vents droop straight down at your head in the bed. Lots of ambient light from things like the microwave, router and gap all around the door would make it tough for a light sleeper. There is no furniture on whet they call the balcony, it looks more like a storage area. Hotel is on the edge of town, quite far from the tourist area at Sylvan Lake, a person would not be able to walk so would have to drive and pay for parking. Good for a business trip or passing through, not the best for a holiday at Sylvan Lake

Breakfast is good, served in the restaurant. Decaf coffee was an extra charge. It was the same both days - scrambled eggs, sausages, hashbrowns and toast. The room was clean - odd closed in balcony with windows but we were able to get some fresh air by opening the "patio doors" to the closed in balcony.

The food was great. The room was clean and beds were cozy. Friendly staff.

hotel could use some updates but beds are comfy. Way more expensive in the summer than it is worth.

I am so very disappointed that even though my daughter was hospitalized, your hotel charged us for our night, even though I contacted you explaining the situation. My daughter is a college student with barely any money, and she was super excited to spend the weekend there so when she ended up in the hospital with very serious illness, we had only hoped that you guys would consider not charging us for the night so that maybe she could go in again another time. If there is any way that you would consider giving her a free night for the future, it would mean the world.

Very nice place

The location was nice- by the beach and very quiet! It is a bit far from the downtown area, but it made for very nice walks (20-30 mins to get to the bars and restaurants). The breakfast was very nice and I feel like I got a good deal!

The room was very small, but it is just for sleeping so I was not upset in the slightest.

This was the nicest, most attentive staff I’ve ever encountered-far beyond even 5 star resorts. Very comfortable beds & Nice towels. The full breakfast was great and other meals at adjoining restaurant were amazing!

Hello, overall the hôtel was ok but breakfast is really light with same meal for the entire duration . I asked for a glass of juice and i was told ´´ not allowed . For the amount of money we have to pay it is over pay…. Thank you
