Die Zimmer beinhhalteten zu viele Betten. Ein, mir unbekannter Bettnachbar, hat mich während der Nacht berührt, was sehr unangenehm war. Ein Bett weniger im Zimmer, und die Distanz der einzelnen Betten zueinander könnte vergrössert werden. .

Hard to reach the location with luggage. Cleanliness of room is dependent on current tenants as this is a hostel. Mine had a weird smell.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Great Lugano charm with palm trees, a pool, sunbeds, vineyards, views of Mount Brè, and even an authentic grotto. Excellent location right next to the train station, by foot it's even closer (but the station is much higher than the city center). Overall good price for the offer. Each bed has its own socket, storage and locker (mine didn't have lights, others yes). Tiny kitchen (can't fit more than 2 people) but well equipped. 4 huge fridges, microwave. Cheap but comfy beds with a cotton sleeping bag liner. Good shower and pressure (but read the bad points also). Helpful staff.
The dorms rooms are cramped when full (FIVE 3-story beds!). Weird bathroom layout (no doors on the showers). NO safe bike storage unless one asks the neighboring hotel. Breakfast is way too expensive (18 franks!).

dortoir mal fréquenté.. . j'ai eu droit toute la nuit a du bruit et des vas et viens d'une personne en piteux état (drogue?) qui a ouvert portes et fenêtres parlé fort toute la nuit jusqu'à 7.00. Insecurité. un minimum de surveillance et de rappel au règlement serait bienvenu

Das Zimmer liegt direkt an den Bahnschienen. Sehr laut. Die Wände sind so dünn, dass man den Nachbarn schnarchen hört. Das Badezimmer ist mit Glasbaustein und Glastür ins Zimmer gebaut. Keine Intimität und keine Geräuschminderung. Wenn jemand im Zimmer drüber duscht oder die Toilette nutzt, hört es sich an, als ob es im Zimmer ist. Für den Preis inakzeptabel. Außerdem wurde i einem Hotel gebucht und wir wurden in einem anderen untergebracht

Unser Dreier Zimmer war im obersten Stock und hatte nur ein Dachfenster, d.h. Man hatte überhaupt keine Sicht. Ausserdem war es sehr laut, sowohl von den Zügen als auch von rücksichtslosen Gäste.

Buenas instalaciones, hay neveras grandes donde guardar la comida y una gran sala común, el café de la máquina cuesta tan solo 1,20 francos! Fuera de los dormitorios hay tendedero y mesas. Personal super amable, me guardaron el equipaje tanto antes del checkin como a la salida. Ubicación a dos minutos de la estación de tren, además nos dieron el ticino tiquet para viajar gratis por toda la región y descuentos en actividades. La piscina está genial, con tumbonas, toallas gratis a disposición de los clientes y una mención especial al chico que atiende la piscina, encantador. También hay un restaurante con parrilla y con una relación calidad -precio excepcional. En la habitación había aire acondicionado así que la manta que proporcionan no sobró. Muy limpio
La cocina común es un poco pequeña y cierra a las 21h pero está muy limpia. Los usuarios que no cuidan las instalaciones, pero eso no depende del establecimiento

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Das Hotel liegt inmitten eines Palmenhains, ganz nahe am Bahnhof, und doch in ruhiger, schöner Umgebung mit herrlicher Aussicht. Das Zimmer ist geschmackvoll und optimal eingerichtet, das Frühstück reichhaltig, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt einen Swimmingpool und ein Grotto (Restaurant) auf der Hotelanlage. Unser Aufenthalt war rundum eine Freude.

Destaco também a simpatia, disponibilidade e amabilidade de todos os colaboradores, que tornam a estadia ainda mais especial. Um lugar onde nos sentimos verdadeiramente bem.

Bei Frühstück ist die Auswahl an Brot etwas dürftig und nicht mehr so frisch und eine zweite Kaffeemaschine wäre wünschenswert um das lange Anstehen zu vermeiden.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Posizione ottima, essendo vicinissimo alla stazione e ben collegato. Ho apprezzato molto la pulizia, la disponibilità dello staff e la presenza di armadietti spaziosi dove riporre facilmente uno zaino di grandi dimensioni. Lo raccomando!
Nulla in particolare. Ovviamente, avendo usufruito dell'area ostello, il comfort non è lo stesso di un albergo o di una stanza privata, ma è comunque tra i migliori ostelli in cui io sia mai stato.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Het hostel is vrij modern, met een grote gezamenlijke ruimte en een zwembad. Hygiëne is prima. Gratis funicular pas om naar het stadje te gaan.
De gezamenlijke ruimte was groot maar ook ongezellig ingericht. De kamer was luidruchtig en het was moeilijk om in het bed te klimmen. Er waren veel regeltjes.

El acinamiento chico sin toallas sin ventana , 2 personas mayores que las mandan a un 3 piso por escaleras sin ascensor, muy malo un solo toma corriente , no podiamos abrir una balija , tuvimos que sacar cosas al pasillo , y después los baños , seguramente la gente no cuida pero no estaban limpios

Außerdem fand ich es toll, dass man selbst kochen konnte und Dinge wie Milch und Gewürze zur gemeinsamen Benutzung bereit standen. Preis und Leistung haben für mich gut zusammen gepasst und ich habe meine Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026A very nice hostel with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained, and the air conditioning works very well. The kitchen is small but perfectly usable, and there is plenty of space in the fridge. There is also a swimming pool, although I did not use it, and a washing machine is available. I never had to queue for the shower, which was a big plus. Overall, just a really good hostel with all the essentials covered. The location is also very convenient, right next to the train station. Highly recommended.
