Quinta Sofia Valle de Guadalupe

Se fue la luz el sabado por mas de 3 horas, preguntábamos cuando iba a resolverse y no sabían darnos una respuesta, las instalaciones deberían estar preparadas con un generador ya que es un lugar apartado, ademas tienen paneles solares lo que sería mas fácil hacerlo funcionar.

Es un excelente y estupendo lugar volvería todas las veces que pueda limpio acogedor Recomendadisimo.exlentes anfitriones

Durante la noche de estancia eran las 10 pm y yo estaba con mi familia asando bombones y mi hija lloro porque se estaba quemando. Los vecinos le llamaron a la anfitriona comentando que estabamos haciendo mucho ruido y no era asi, ni teniamos musica ni teniamos bebida, somos cristianos y esperabamos pasar una noches agradable en ese lugar, no fue asi :(

Quiet area, kind of secluded

Very comfortable and relaxing, quiet area with scenic view (beatiful sunset), communication was excelent, great value, we would definitely stay at this place again.

Me encanto el lugar donde se encuentra, es un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor, es la segunda vez que me quedo en ellas! El personal fue muy amable y atento desde antes de nuestra llegada, la cabaña es muy confortable y estaba en condiciones excelentes!

Todo me encanto! Solo tuvimos problemita con una lagartija que estaba en nuestra cama, pero no paso de un buen susto y una buena anécdota!

Beautifully rustic setting. Close to the wineries and restaurants. Clean as a whistle. Thank you for the wonderful stay and the attentiveness when we had any questions or sought recommendations. Key retrieval was super easy and I love the gate feature to the property.

We loved staying at Quinta Sofia! This place captures the essence of Valle de Guadalupe. It is so peaceful and quiet. Very clean and offers everything you might need. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and offered a much needed refreshing drink! Very happy with our stay.

La atención fue excelente desde la reserva hasta el check out y el lugar es muy agradable . Lo único a mejorar sería el wifi que no es muy bueno , en nuestro caso no lo necesitamos mucho pero si quisiéramos trabajar remoto o una estadía más larga si necesita mejorar . Pero todo muy lindo claro que regresaríamos !!

The host was very accommodating and friendly. We felt very safe and comfortable the entirety of the time.

The place doesn't have gas, so we couldn't use the stove top. Not specific to this property, but the roads are dirt roads full of pot holes. Drive carefully!

I would have liked to have had a microwave in the room.

Everything was clean and as expected however it was a bit noisy, dogs barking and I believe there was a bird nest somewhere in the roof so there was alot scratching noises early in the morning.

If you're looking for privacy in a beautiful setting this is the place for you. It's a little off the beaten path, but once there you feel the real beauty of Valle de Guadalupe.

The accommodation was very well presented .5 Star presented with a welcome drink personally presented by our hosts .The cabin was fully self contained with perfect district views and fantastic sunsets It was very close to some amazing restaurants where the foods were perfect .Well worth a visit

Quaint location just off the main road. Easy access to the nearby wineries and restaurants as well as the road to the 'other side' of the valley.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We started two nights unfortunately there were dogs that barked both nights on or near the property that kept our whole party awake.

Great clean, comfortable rooms. Housekeeping did a great job. We had four people in our group in two different rooms. Everybody only had great things to say about the accommodations. The hosts were great.

I loved the customer service and attention we received from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Lovely couple. The room was huge and clean and it had AC! The room had a balcony with chairs and fire pit. We had a great experience at Quinta Sofia. I would definitely go back and stay here again.

Although it was a bit out of the way into a dirt road, the place was very nice and the host Soccorro was very friendly and hospitable. Room was big and very clean.

Accommodations were very cozy. Our room had two beds with a great view. The climate was a little cooler in the evening (June), but the room has a brand new HVAC unit so temperature control was perfect in the room. Room has a fridge inside and everything was very clean. The place is slightly off the main road, so no lowered cars here. I made it in a stock civic with ease, but anything lowered will bottom out for sure. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to this city.

Such a great stay at this property! The Host Coco and her husband were such kind and amazing people! They were incredibly gracious and went out of their way to help us when we had an issue with one of our drivers. The property was very cute and felt safe. We will definitely come back and stay there! We stayed in the Cabana Roja and was perfect for the four of us. Everything very clean and inviting. A great place!

The owners made us feel welcome the moment we checked in. They greeted us with a bottle from the local winery and gave us some recommendations for the area. The room was clean and had all the modern amenities including heat and air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee pot, wifi, and toiletries. It was the perfect ambience for a romantic getaway. There was a porch, fire pit, and area to BBQ. The accommodations are about 5 min drive on a dirt road from the main highway, so if you're in a small vehicle drive with caution, particularly during the rainy season there are ditches along the road.

Everything was great. Totally recommend this place. Only thing was needing extra wood for the bonfire, so bring one or two bundles with you. Other than that... this place is perfect for a family gathering.

Excellent location for concert at Foro Santo Tomas. Room was super clean, beds were very comfortable. A/C works great.

Beautiful little B&B run by a sweet couple. They upgraded my friend and I since a larger room was available. Lovely front deck and fire pit and sitting area. Central to the wineries & restaurants in el valle.

The Quinta Sofia was a wonderful homebase for my visit to the area. The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The tranquility of the area along with the beautiful views made for the perfect relaxing getaway. The AC and perfectly working WiFi were just an added bonus. Loved the warm welcome by the hosts upon our arrival! Will definitely be back!

Great place to stay and very close to all vineyards

We had a great stay at Quinto Sophia. The room was clean with amenities and air conditioning. Coco was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful. We booked a last minute trip and this cozy property was a perfect place for a romsntic getaway. The property was easy to get to

Coco and her husband Luis make you feel comfortable the moment you arrive. Gave us a free upgrade to biigger room as it was available. Lovely room with nice linens and decor. Great location and Coco showed us a map with suggestions for wineries and restaurants. Bonus a lovely 6 month old puppy who made my stay perfect. We will be back but it will be on weekend as a lot of wineries and restaurants are shut Monday,Tuesday’s and some Wednesday too. Would be perfect for large group as they have several small casitas, all with fire pits and lovely outside areas to visit and enjoy your purchases at the end of the day.

Quinta Sofía was a great place to stay. The service there was fantastic! Internet was fast, the area was beautiful, and the room was clean and cozy. The only difficulty is the drive of about 1Km from the highway, since it is not paved, but it is not a bid deal as it is pretty normal in the area. We were nervous of transportation options because we had no car, but the gentleman in the reception helped us a lot! They have some contacts to make it easy for guests or, if not too far, they offer to take you themselves. This was super convenient for us, since we just needed to get to a close location for a wedding. We did not stay too long, we had a very comfortable night and would definitely recommend it!

It all starts with Socorro (Coco). She is amazing and makes you feel like you're home at mom's for thanksgiving. She will welcome you to her and Luis' property with open arms and either a glass of wine or cold beer. She accommodated every little request we had and surprised us with some nice fresh fruit each day in the room. They even had a couple bikes for us to cruise around their little neighborhood. Very romantic and quiet place. Rooms are great, spacious and clean. Mini fridge, toilet room separate from shower/sink. Nice clean queen beds. Pillows were a little stiff. Air conditioning that was easy to operate. Each room has a space outdoors and stove to make a fire and drink wine outdoors at night. Breakfast is a voucher for a couple potions at a local place. The restaurant was great with good food. You can add more to your order if the voucher doesn't cover certain things you want, and they are very reasonable about how they charge for those. This is a mom and pop property, not a corporate place with lots of accommodations. It's very quiet and romantic. We brought a cooler of food for our convenience and that was essential due to our diet. But there are tons of places around the valley to eat. Coolest discovery while there - ATP Winery, a stone's throw from Quinta Sofia, was the best wine we had the whole trip. And just like Quinta Sofia, is a mom and pop place that it eager to serve and make friendly chat around some wine.

These are 5 villas close to the ruta de vino. Rooms were very clean, hosts are nice. Good communication. Medium sized rooms, good running water and amenities. Wood stoves also nice at night when returning from the vineyards. Would recommend for someone to stay here - for us, we like to try different places when we travel so may or may not come back next time.

This is a beautiful property in a great location, great views, very clean and comfortable, but there is an event locale for parties behind the rooms. I had planned a quiet and relaxing outting with my wife, and was hoping to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, but at around 6 p.m. the very loud party music began and did not end until almost midnight. It was frustrating and disappointing. It was out of the control of the owner, but I think it should be disclosed that there's an event party local behind and it is possible to have very loud music any time. The owner was great and apologetic, and said that local was not licensed, and was working on having it close. Good luck to her, as it does ruins ones experience.

The cabin is much bigger that the pictures make seem, it’s a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen and living room with a front porch and side yard, really spacious and comfortable. We travel with our 2 year daughter and she had a blast running around we had her trycicle too, morning coffee was so relaxing at the porch with the beautiful views!

Our stay at Quinta Sofia was great. We received a warm welcome from the hosts, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts are very thoughtful in every detail, they even offered us to make a fire in a little oven in front of our building.

We had a wonderful time. We come out to the wine country to see family and always look for new places to explore. This place is a gem. Only a few rooms, which make for a quiet stay with all the comforts from home. Including WiFi.

Super centrally located and easy to get to all the valle wineries. The couple who run the property were really sweet and friendly.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and well situated to all the wine farms and restaurants. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed having our own outdoor space and patio to enjoy the evening after dinner.

It's a small hotel with few well equipped rooms, but the care and attention that the owners take at you is priceless. Very well located within 15 minutes to the end of each part of Valle de Guadalupe, you can go to any vinery in a small ride from the hotel. Breakfast is arranged in a restaurant near by and the amount of food is good and plenty!!
