East Asia Royale Hotel

Stayed one night slept well

Nice hotel

Tv didn't work at all when i get to the room. Air con not cold. No hot water none!!!! Breakfast buffet was terrible. I had 1 more night already paid for and left anyway. Went to microtel. Much better

Nice property for the price

Pleasant clean quiet A+

Property needs renovation. Bed and amenities needs to be updated.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times. This time, I was assigned a room on the second floor. It was clean, and the air conditioning was nice and cold, which I appreciated. During every stay, the staff have always been helpful and genuinely great people.

The hotel is dated but still a decent place to stay. The location is excellent. They should consider replacing the towels, as the ones we had were quite worn and old. The TV is very small, but that wasn’t an issue since we didn’t use it. The lamps are outdated, adding to the overall dated feel of the room. Cleanliness could be improve. it was a bit dusty. However, the WiFi and air conditioning were good.

Great staff, quiet and comfortable bed. The mini fridge has a list of cold beverages on it - but apparently are no longer stocked

Friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast buffet.

It was a great stay!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Food was pretty good, staff was nice, hotel was clean, the hotel just has an insect problem.

Great customer service!

This hotel had great service, and the breakfast each morning was great! But, as far as the rooms… terrible! Bugs, drain was always clogged,,And the hallways didn’t have air conditioning! I’ll never stay here again!

Icebox was broken & had to be replaced

The front desk staff were amazing. Check-in was a breeze. The young lady was super professional and helped me with all my questions. Check-out was also super smooth. The only thing that I did not like was the breakfast food was cold, like really cold. I read this in previous reviews and thought that they would have corrected this problem. The only way to get hot food is to make your own toast and order an omelette.

The only thing that I did not like was the waiters at breakfast kept flirting with my daughters during their breakfast. Both girls are teenagers and it made them very very uncomfortable. I understand they might be trying to be friendly, but it should not get to the point of making the guests uncomfortable.

This is one of the best hotels in GenSan. Excellent value and easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended !!

Room was not clean, just a little more attention to the cleanliness but the hotel undergoing some renovations but the staff were very helpful and attentive.

Very private and quiet

It's an okay hotel. Dated but properly maintained. The room was roomy and clean. Grounds and surroundings also clean. However, the front desk staff needs to all be fired. They lack the most basic manners, to be nice and friendly, to their customers. Replace them all and the hotel's ratings would go up for sure. Hope management is reading this!

hot and cold shower not functioning well

Was wonderful. Staff was excellent. Good Breakfast. Clean room

It was nice for a break and appreciated when the electricity went out in the city but we still had power and air condition

The hotel sits on the primary road access going through town. The front desk staff was not accommodating nor helpful when travel plans dictated early departure. As long as you don't change the system, come and go on time, do not need anything; you should be fine. If you are a business traveler, this is not a good hotel to stay in.

Cleanliness and customer oriented. Highly recommended to everyone

Made a minor mistake for not saying 2 person, which carries a fee if done at the hotel. Was charged extra because of this mistake. Make sure to double check you get this correct- there will be no sympathy at the hotel. If you do 2 people on expedia You will not be charged the Extra. Hotel staff is very nice overall as always- only problem is the hotel is highly dated- needs overall update.

East Asia Royale Hotel one of the finest hotels in General Santos City.

Very impersonal

Can be recommended

Clean and good Hotel and Friendly staff

The Hotel put my family up in a standard rooms, in which I paid for Superior Rooms. I would recommend that you should consider staying at a 5 star hotel that honors their reservations at nicer hotel. Tom Lichtenberger/Gamit Family

The hotel is very nice, clean, room is spacious and staffs Are very professional. My Mama love to go back there next time.

Keep up the good work

Comfortable and nice hotel. Opposite is a shopping mall. Very convenient. Will stay there again

my experience is okay. breakfast was good specially the fruits. wi-fi is fast. my colleagues and I did not encounter any issues upon check-in and check out and the service to the airport was comfortable.

Good location in the city centre with shopping mall nearby. Life music during dinner was an added bonus.

Front desk staff great you with hospitality and and very courteous

I arrived at the hotel and the staff informed me that my booking was non-existent. Desperate to get a room and rest after a tiring flight, I decided to pay the hotel for a room I already booked. A month later I was billed by my credit card company for a booking at the hotel via Expedia. I don't know who was at fault here but I got the wrong end of the.stick.

so good

First hotel in 20 years, anywhere in the world that took our high quality travel iron and told us it was against house rules. Do they provide an iron, NO! So how in god's name are you supposed to look proper for meetings when a travel hotel, does not let you use your travel accessories or provide one for you? Simply amazing...

Reasonably priced, with close proximity to convenient shops and malls

The front desk staff are awesome ( special mention Faye), wait staff at the restaurant are great and so as the cleaning crew. The breakfast chef (Lito) got my husband's favorite omelette ready as soon as we walk in the door for breakfast. The only concern we have is the bed, not comfortable. But overall we have a pleasant stay.

The hotel itself was not terrible but is very old and in need of an update. Service was good and the food was great. The matress was like laying on a sheet of plywood. So hard. The WiFi is stupid and barely works up in the rooms but is solid in the dinning area. I paid extra for what they call a "Superior" suite. What a joke. I've had better rooms at the Motel 6. All in... I will not be staying at the Royal again.

We stay for 5 days and each day was a great stay, clean rooms and facility, and 5 star service from reception to room service and restaurant. Room rates and food are affordable, early check in and late check out are easily negotiated and also free shuttle service going to the airport. Highly recommended Hotel in Gen San.

Best hotel in gensan- better than Greenleaf. Locals hype up the rating at GL because of status reasons. But if your not concerned about status- and are more concerned about service and accomidations- this is the best hotel. Breakfast is much better than GL and the staff is very friendly and healpful. Also outside food is allowed- GL charges 20% for outside food. GL is always crowded and loud! East Asia is the best in the area and I will never stay at another hotel when visiting.

good , short way to city center .good restaurant , vg breakfast

Nice hotel with a good staff who was frendly all thd time . The room was clean and the bed was nice 2 sleep in . Good food

Rooms very clean and user fiendly and very accomidating staff would stay there again

It was terrible because I needed the internet to communicate with my staff in the US.

Overall clean for the area. Room service was good but they never came back for the dirty dishes. The room came with water each day but I had to call for it often. The breakfast buffet was good once you figured it out. They assumed I knew there customs but I didn't. Room service food was average at best. Security was good and the staff friendly. Exceptional employees at the hotel desk. Always friendly with a great smile. Laundry service was good but very expensive! I would not recommend it. Overall a good experience for the area.

Good choice for a hotel in General Santos City. Clean and mostly responsive staff. Wifi off and on, not reliable.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice location. Fair pricing.

Reasonable good hotel with nice amenities

Philippin country people's good & peaceful
