We paid extra for the Superior room which was fitted out beautifully, very large and set in a very peaceful location gaily close to town centre. There is no restaurant for evening /lunchtime meals.

From the time we walked in the room was very warm and even with the windows open we could not cool it ….. bearing in mind it is September. The table top fan helped to some degree but having switched it off overnight the room retained its heat. For a superior room there was no air conditioning. Additionally the room was set on an external first floor courtyard building which had a lot of steep stairs to contend with.

Perfect location. Great hosts and the most amazing breakfast .

The location was beautiful, there was a lot of choice for breakfast which was the best breakfast I’ve had with accommodation. Jane, the owner, was very friendly, full of recommendations and was kind enough to take me to the railway station when I checked out which I thought was above and beyond. Enjoyed it so much I’ve booked a longer stay with one of my sons next year! Exceptional.

The hotel was easy to find and had really well kept gardens and driveway. Parking was relatively easy once we'd got our bearings. We had a nice balcony area, very comfy bed and good working area for my husband. The staff were all lovely and clearly knew all about the facilities. Breakfast was delicious, lots of interesting choices, and the view from the breakfast area was really relaxing.

Really nothing, we really enjoyed our stay. We liked the restaurant advice and had a lovely meal at Fern.

Our room was very comfortable with a wide bed and well appointed bathroom. The hotel is a short walk down into the centre of Pitlochry. The owners and staff were all most helpful. Breakfast was good and wide ranging and servged to order.

Location just up a short hill from high street was excellent for us. Double room with balcony was spacious, comfortable, clean with Double door onto balcony. Sat out for an hour, weather was glorious. Breakfast all orders via staff. No buffet!! Hooray! Good Breakfast selection, came very quickly, well cooked & presented. We were asked if we'd like more toast. Great car park. Staff were all friendly & efficient. Even escorted to our room & everything about our stay explained. Couldn't fault anything.

Very small but bed a bit hard. Personal preference for a soft bed. Husband thought it was fine. Wouldn't stop me staying again, as said small detail.

Breakfast was truly excellent. Room was lovely, everything you need, great shower, nice toiletries and all in a beautiful setting. Staff were welcoming and attentive without invading your space. Main house areas were stylish and very comfortable.

The setting is exquisite and convenient to all the ships and restaurants. The rooms and beds are spacious and quiet, with excellent bathrooms. The breakfast was a 3 course masterpiece, and finally, the staff was friendly, efficient and accomodating. What more could one ask for? Craigmhor Lodge is terrific

I could hear the person in the next room snoring. This probably wouldn't bother anyone else but I have acute hearing and once I heard it I couldn't tune it out so didn't get much sleep even with foam earplugs. Not the fault of the owners though.

We loved this small hotel, updated rooms, very kind and attentive hostess/manager, best breakfast of all our vacation in Scotland. Short pleasant walk to the main street, hotel is in a peaceful spot with a view, we enjoyed morning coffee and an evening glass of wine on a lawn.

The location was perfect, a short and picturesque walk from the main street in Pitlochry. Ideal for staying in the area as close to everything but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. The walk into the premises were well lit too at night. It was so peaceful and the surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. The actual room was lovely too, modern and very clean. Would highly recommend.

The room was spacious with good closet space and electronics hook-ups. The bathroom is very well designed an equipped. Breakfast was outstanding and couldn't have been better.

The only complaint was the stairs up to the room. Booked a garden view room and the room was up steep cement stairs overlooking a parking lot.

Everything from arrival to departure was absolutely 5 star. Just a magical stay again and will 100% be returning, breakfast is outstanding along with staff and spotlessly immaculate room, The best ever accommodation 👌🏼

Great location close to centre, rooms were very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and gave us some good recommendations for dinner and drinks.

Breakfast was excellent - a treat to have everything freshly made and brought to us (no queuing at toast or coffee machines!). The room was large, comfortable and spotless. The balcony was an excellent place to sit in the warm evenings or for a morning coffee. Staff were lovely. All in all a class act all round

The location is a 5 min walk to the main area where everything is, the staff were very friendly and the room very comfortable with a balcony area you can take a bottle of wine and sit and enjoy the view and the sunset (bought from the co-op a 2min walk away) the breakfast is the best we've ever had, everything about the hotel and Pitlochry is perfect!

No bar! But the co-op is a 2 min walk away with chilled wine and the hotel staff will give you an ice bucket and ice, so job done!

A wonderful property tucked away from the busy Main Street yet central enough to allow walking to all the town attractions. Beautiful views of the magnificent Scottish highland hills and the great landscape on the property. Adequate parking onsite. Breakfast was delicious and served with warmth. Rooms are well equipped with all basic necessities and if you need anything the friendly staff will get it. Though not connected to the Lodge but it deserves a glowing mention - Cidcin restaurant just up the street from the Lodge for the most authentic Indian food experience in Scotland!!

It was all good!

The property is beautifully decorated and positioned on an elevation giving stunning views over Pitlochry and beyond. The room was beautifully appointed with delightful finishing touches including Tunnock’s tea cakes, complimentary bottled water, wine glasses a bottle opener and good quality toiletries in the huge bathroom along with bathrobes and white fluffy towels. The staff were so very welcoming and friendly and breakfast was probably the best we have ever had.

Location is just a 5 min walk from town centre. The breakfast was delicious, there was plenty of choice and everything was a good quality and made to order. The rooms and grounds were all well kept. The staff were all very friendly. Plenty of parking for your car.

This accommodation resembles a small boutique hotel with stylish decor throughout. The owners are very friendly and have excellent staff who showed us to our room and also help serving breakfast etc Our room was lovely with a balcony but there are also various seating options in the gardens to enjoy the wonderful views. The breakfast menu options using locally sourced produce are outstanding. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We have stayed here many times. Excellent location. Peaceful spot, 5 minutes walk into town. Well designed, very clean rooms. We had a patio room. Excellent shower and gorgeous separate bath. As always, an exceptional breakfast.
