Leider scheint hinterm Fernseher (wahrscheinlich Internet-Receiver) ein penetrantes helles blaues Licht hervor, das sich nicht abschalten ließ. Beim Schlafen sehr unangenehm.

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers zijn heel netjes. Het heeft een drukke maar heel gezellige bar. Achterin houden ze tafels vrij voor de hotelgasten om te eten. Het diner s'avonds was perfect. Zeer goede kaart en betaalbaar. We hadden hier eigenlijk een nacht langer moeten blijven. Aanrader👍

We hadden medicijnen afgegeven die in de koelkast en vriezer moesten. Die konden ze de volgende ochtend niet terugvinden Duurde lang. TIP, zet dat soort dingen in de computer, zodat het personeel dit kan vinden.

Tolles kleines Hotel. Personal zuvorkommend und sehr aufmerksam. Restaurant zum Dinner sehr zu empfehlen. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich.

The general atmosphere and the location. The style of rooms and the food are all great. It was my first choice when my husband said he was taking me away for my birthday.

Having been before and had an excellent time I was a bit disappointed this time round. Always a lot of staff on duty (they were all extremely pleasant) but at times the service felt dis-jointed. It could be there were a lot new staff.. Having previously stayed in a deluxe suite I tried to rebook this room type again, as our room was stunning. Unfortunately I was out of luck but managed to book a standard room. The room was lovely but the bathroom felt claustrophobic. The shower ceiling and tile sealant had mould deposits, possibly ventilation issues (no window) Normally I would have asked to move room but Booking indicated the hotel was full. I did speak to the receptionist on checkout,I didn’t feel as though she believed me initially, I offered to show her the photos I took but she said she would check for herself later. This was the end of the conversation.

Another excellent stay. From check in till check out everything was perfect. Peach, mango mojitos went down a treat. Meals lovely and always double checked for coeliac requirements. Cant wait for next visit.

Beautiful setting in centre of village. Very traditional inn that served great food and had a warming and welcoming atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited but did manage to find a space. Arrived mid afternoon and the place was heaving. Clientele seemed to be mostly people passing through or staying elsewhere. Lovely walks nearby and all in an interesting environment. Room large and very clean.

It felt slightly too busy to fully relax but that is not the fault of the establishment.

We visit Pitlochry all the time and always start off our stay with a visit to The Old Mill. This was a special celebration for us. we were however let down very badly with the worst meal I have ever had. my wife had the Rib Eye Steak and it was cold (so was the plate) the chips were dried up and cold. I went for the fish and it must have been the smallest piece of fish i have ever had it was also cold with the same chips. Dried and on a very cold plate. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. we had crumble for dessert and it was bland and tasteless. We will wait and check reviews before returning.

The Old Mill Inn is ideally placed in Pitlochry, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are all friendly. The only issues we had were in the restaurant. I was served the wrong main meal in the evening (which they admitted was their error) and had to wait 7/8 minutes on the correct order being prepared while my wife ate hers - not the best dining experience. That evening the bill had to be adjusted as 2 coffees had been added on where we had only ordered one. At breakfast next day we opened a pat of butter to find it mouldy inside, it turned out they were all weeks out of date - not what you expect in a busy restaurant. The waiter was very apologetic but this should never have happened. These avoidable mistakes detracted from an otherwise enjoyable visit.

Inn was central in Pitlochry, which was a stopover location for us coming from Edinburgh. We spent time hiking at The Hermitage before heading to the Inn. Room was large and well appointed. The restaurant was great for drinks and dinner, and there’s a lovely bakery right next door. We were there during a heat wave and the restaurant was packed with folks enjoying the weather. We want to definitely return on our next visit as we feel like there is so much more to do in Pitlochry!

Vriendelijk personeel, mooie ruime kamer, prima ontbijt, levendig hotel mooi gelegen in het centrum van Pitlochry.

Matras vertoonde een bult in het midden (misschien vaker draaien?), vloerbedekking kon een schoonmaakbeurt gebruiken en rolgordijnen hadden hun beste tijd gehad. Bovenstaande punten zijn aangegeven tijdens uitchecken, deze keurig genoteerd door dienstdoende receptioniste en zouden worden doorgegeven (waarvoor dank, dit ervaren we ook wel eens anders).

Very nice place to lie your head after a busy day of experiencing Scotland. The restaurant, bar and outdoor patio were perfect. Great food, great drinks and oh the atmosphere! Rooms are very well appointed, comfortable and clean. Staff are top notch! Would definitely stay here again

After a few previous disappointments on the trip, The Old Mill was welcome delight. The room was sumptuous with an absolutely gorgeous bathroom, the evening’s dinner very pleasant. However the real joy was the staff who were unfailing helpful and cheerful. The duty manager especially went above and beyond when he realised I was needing to leave early in the morning. It isn’t the cheapest but I absolutely believe you get what you pay for and it’s worth the little extra. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the noise. The pub is known for its music and clearly warns guests there will be live bands on Friday and Saturday. All well and good, but I stayed on a Monday night and still found there was a lot of disturbance in my room until 11pm just from the bars normal sound system (can’t imagine what it would have been like at the weekend!). Make sure to ask for a quieter room when booking or be prepared for a late one.

The waiter (older gent of foreign origins) wouldn’t leave us alone and kept bothering us at breakfast and then made my partner feel very awkward about now eating her breakfast entirely all because she was full. Made us want to leave and get out of there asap

We are experienced travellers in Scotland. If you are looking for a stay in the heart of Pitlochry, The Old Mill Inn is a lovely place to stay for so many reasons. Our last stay was our fifth stay there. Staff are always attentive and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless as well as having modern showers with good water pressure. Rooms are warm and cosy in the winter which, believe me, is not always the case in Scottish accommodation! Food is always good with a specials board each evening. Guests have priority bookings for the restaurant. Our most recent stay won’t be the last!

On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by someone on reception/bar who showed us to our room, which was lovely and suited our needs. We did ask if we could have an additional pillow as my husband has recently had surgery, and can only sleep upright. We were told yes, but this didnt arrive for either of our 2 night stay. The only other comments I'd make, is that the soup choice didnt change from carrot and ginger, the 3 days we were there and we thought that £11.50 was rather expensive for a glass of white wine (city prices). A most relaxing stay though in a lovely setting.

Did find the hotel food expensive and drinks at the bar also expensive seems the same round in the pub further up the road was £3 a round cheaper we visit different parts of Scotland each march and have to say this was our most expensive stay for food and drink but it would not put me off returning as we throughly enjoyed our stay

Overpriced for bed and breakfast. Also had dinner the night before, which was lovely but very overpriced. £10.45 for leek and potato soup was a warning of the prices.

The deluxe room and standard room were both outstanding. The staff were generally friendly. The senior waiter at breakfast was so friendly and personable, a credit to the hotel

On our first night we decided to have a sharing steak meal between 3 for £95, unfortunately 1 cup of fries, half a tomato and 1 mushroom are not sufficient for 3 people. The steak was cold by the time it was served. We did voice our concerns and the manager to his credit did offer to not charge. I was not comfortable with this so we agreed on 3 free sticky toffee puddings would be ok. All left reasonably happy.

We had the most wonderful night away at the Old Mill Inn this weekend. The staff are so exceptionally well trained, it's so refreshing to have immaculate service. We were welcomed with a smile and taken up to our room. The restaurant was busy but they got us a table for dinner at any time of our choosing. The food was incredible and we didn't wait long at all in between courses. After our meal, the staff made us a priority for getting a seat in the bar, to watch the live music. It was really busy and non-residents were having to stand, but we got to have a seat! They really make the hotel residents feel so valued. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous and, again, the staff were super friendly and attentive. The room was luxurious and so cosy and comfy. I had a great big bubble bath in the morning, the bubble bath was even provided, so lovely and relaxing. The mojitos were absolutely delicious too. We had such a lovely time but the biggest thing for us was the treatment that we got from the staff, that's what makes a stay so special, and the staff here really are amazing! Highly recommend!

We have visited the Old Mill Inn many times over a number of years The Old Mill is in the perfect location in the centre of Pitlochry, the hotel is absolutely spotless the rooms I would describe as modern and opulent. Breakfast is included in the cost providing all the local good quality produce. The choice of food in the restaurant is extensive and of a very high standard Hence it is advisable to book your table for the evening well in advance. The staff are friendly efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a friendly happy atmosphere within the hotel with live music on most Friday and Saturday nights which we found very enjoyable. I cannot think of anything this hotel does not offer, to make a break/holiday one of the best you have every had. We will be booking again very soon again. Cannot wait to go back Sheila and Robert
