The breakfast in this riad was subpar compared to other riads I've stayed at. They reused the khobez and as much as I hate food waste, if you had breakfast towards the end of the breakfast time, the reheated khobez was too burnt and stale to eat. This was pretty shocking service for a 4 star riad. We were also not really offered much other food, just a tiny bowl of yogurt and fruit, and a small portion of one other thing every day. In the other riads we stayed at we got so much food for breakfast that we often left not being able to eat anymore, at Riad Safa, we were often hungry shortly after breakfast.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Tout était incroyable, le personnel était aux petits soins et l'établissement était un véritable paradis niché en plein cœur de la Medina. Les deux piscines étaient merveilleuses, le petit déjeuner excellent et l'établissement d'un calme très appréciable.
Les frais de taxi sont un peu chers.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Un grand merci Abdel et son équipe qui ont été aux petits soins. Discret et prêt à rendre service, un pur bonheur. Le riad est placé au calme, non loin de la médina et des site a visiter . Souk a 5mn et place a 15mn. La gentillesse du personnel et la conception authentique du riad est parfaite pour profiter. Plein de petits espaces intimistes. La décoration épurée et soigné est apaisante avec sa douce odeur de fleur d oranger. Abdel a su nous conseiller et se rendre disponible lors de notre séjour La cuisine est délicieuse réaliser par les femmes du riad . Nous avons pris notre dîner le 1er soir. Les petits déjeuner servis en terrasse sont copieux et délicieux. Très bon séjour.

Las habitaciones son minúsculas. Una cama de 1,50 y poco más. La sábana olía a orines y el baño minúsculo, oscuro y sucio . Todo está sucio y mal cuidado. Cacas de pájaros y palomas en todos sitios, la terraza descuidada, las plantas secas, las cosas rotas. Pedimos una habitación más grande, nos dijeron que en Booking se veía claro el tamaño y que eso es lo que había. Nos fuimos a otro Riad y ese si que era maravilloso. El precio barato acorde al sitio.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Los anfitriones son muy amables e incluso tienen servicio de transfer desde el aeropuerto. Les puedes hablar por WhatsApp y ponen a tu disposición todos los servicios (toallas en la azotea, etc.) para que estés cómodo.
El Riad es un poco antiguo, la habitación es pequeña y el colchón un poco de mala calidad. La piscina de abajo no es profunda, es solo para meter los pies.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Wat een vriendelijke mensen, fijn contact al vooraf, heerlijke kamers met goede airco en lekkere bedden en douche. Ontbijt op het dakterras was erg lekker. Zwembadjes beide heerlijk koud. Sfeer in de riad is top. Krijgt gelijk kaart van Marrakech met tips erbij, heel handig. Laatste avond restaurant in nieuw gedeelte van Marrakech geboekt, tever om te lopen en vervoer geregeld via de riad.
Enige minpuntje was dat er maar 2 ligbedden in de schaduw waren. Wel zithoeken, maar in de zon liggen is wel erg heet. Dus ik zou nog wat meer parasols willen zien. De rieten hoedjes die klaar lagen waren erg leuk.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026L’accoglienza è sicuramente uno dei punti forti della struttura. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile. Il cibo è superlativo. Consigliamo vivamente di cenare al riad per provare la cucina di Samira (Chicken Tajine 10/10). Anche i massaggi offerti dalla struttura sono sopra la media. La posizione è ottima, strategica ma comunque silenziosa rispetto alle altre zone.
Nel complesso la struttura è molto bella e affascinante, ma nei dettagli potrebbe essere tenuta leggermente meglio.

Reviewed May 31, 2026L’endroit a du charme, situé dans une ruelle calme de la médina, proche des choses à voir. 5 à 15 mn des points interessants de la vielle ville. L’accueil est très bon et le gérant fait son possible pour faciliter les choses: réserver un restaurant, bon conseil, commander un transport etc. Le personnel est courtois et souriant. Petit déjeuner très agréable sur la terrasse.
Nous y étions en pleine fête de l’Aïd et beaucoup de lieux n’étaient pas ouverts(musées, magasins, restaurants). Les installations commencent à être un peu vieillissantes. Les ruelles proches sont assez sales.

Een kleine yoghurt met fruit, brood, zoetigheid, koffie/thee/jus 'd orange, pancakes/msemmen We hebben de eerste avond ook voor een diner gekozen, ook dat was heel erg goed, we waren er niet vanuit gegaan dat er een voorafje en dessert bij zat. Abdel en de dames zijn zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. We hebben het super fijn gehad. Je kan niet voor de deur parkeren, maar je komt aan bij druk parkeerplaatsje die vlak voor de souks is, Place El Moukef. Vanuit daar loop je nog 7 minuten naar de Riad. Hou er rekening mee dat er taxichauffers / tourguides zijn die niet daar willen komen en stem dat goed van te voren af. Het is niet ver lopen, maar in de warmte kan het wel vervelend zijn.
Het geluid. Ondanks dat een Riad de warmte goed buitenhoudt, is het binnenin aardig gehorig. Doordat we oordopjes bij ons hadden, was het opgelost.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Wir haben den Service mit Fahrer für die An- und Abreise in Anspruch genommen, was sich ausgezahlt hat. Bei Anreise haben wir eine ausführliche Einführung in die Stadt und wichtige Tipps für den Aufenthalt erhalten. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde nach Möglichkeit eingegangen. Beim Frühstück gab es (nach vorheriger Absprache) sogar laktosefreie Milch. Auf Anfrage war Frühstück to go möglich. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gemütlich und mit Klimaanlage. Die Dachterrasse war ein Wohlfühl- und Erholungsort. Das Personal war stets freundlich und bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
Es gab kein Wasser beim Frühstück. - Das Frühstück to go hätte Verbesserungspotential: kleine Marmeladen, Kaffee, Plastikmesser oder ähnliches. - Die Badtür reichte nicht bis zum Fußboden und das Bad war sehr hellhörig.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Jättemysigt och hemtrevligt! Vackert hus! Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Ingenting var omöjligt. Bra läge. Mycket prisvärt. God frukost. Vi beställde middag en kväll på Riaden och serverades en trerätters middag som smakade mycket gott! Vi blev kaffesugna några kvällar, kaffe serverades med utsökta småkakor. Vid ankomst serverades myntate med småkakor. Ansvarig för Riaden gick igenom Marrakech kartan med oss vid ankomst. Vi återvänder mycket gärna till Riad Safa!

Reviewed May 17, 2026O alojamento fica muito perto das atrações principais que ficam dentro da Medina. Além disso, o pequeno almoço foi sempre bom e com diferentes variedades. Os funcionários são incríveis. Muito simpáticos, muito disponíveis! Fizemos também 1 refeição do jantar no Riad e estava tudo ótimo.
O quarto onde ficámos era pequeno. A cama era realmente pequena para 2 pessoas. Compreendemos que os quartos são pequenos mas a cama é realmente pequena para um casal.

Voor een traditionele Hammam-ervaring zouden we in de toekomst elders een behandeling boeken.

Abdel en zijn collega’s zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en doen er alles aan om je verblijf in Marrakesh onvergetelijk te maken. Een absolute aanrader is het avondeten in de riad – echt heerlijk! Met zorg bereid en vol smaak, een ervaring op zich. Ook de ligging is ideaal: alles is prima te voet bereikbaar, waardoor je de stad op een ontspannen manier kunt ontdekken. Kortom, Riad Safa is een plek waar je je direct thuis voelt en volop kunt genieten. Wij raden deze riad dan ook van harte aan!

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026Riad Safa was the perfect stay for us - clean, comfortable, inviting, with incredibly kind and helpful staff, gorgeous roof terrace, good food and an excellent location. Abdel is truly the most delightful man. After meeting us at our taxi, he sat with us over mint tea to give us advice and tips for making the most of our stay, including phrases and recommendations for places to eat. The room was snug, clean, and peaceful, with an excellent shower and everything we needed. We booked the combined hammam and massage at the riad and it was worth every dirham!!!
Such a minor thing that it’s almost not worth mentioning, but as a migraine sufferer I’m very sensitive to scents and the day we arrived there was a very strong cleaning product smell in common areas. I gradually got used to it, so it wasn’t a problem overall.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Prachtige Riad. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en helpt je met alles. Wij kwamen midden in de nacht aan. Ze regelden een taxi vanaf het vliegveld voor ons en omdat de taxi niet in de Medina kon komen haalde iemand ons op bij de taxi standplaats zodat we niet zelf het hotel hoefde te gaan zoeken. Het dakterras met dompelbad is ook heerlijk met verschillende zit en lig plekken.
Om bij de Riad te komen moet je door een wat rustiger gebied lopen. Hier zijn weinig toeristen wat 's avonds wat spannender kan zijn.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Maravilloso de principio a fin, Haytham y Abdel son muy amables. Llegamos a las 2 a.m con un transfer concertado con el alojamiento y Haytham nos recibió y nos acompañó hasta el Riad. En general el trato del personal ha sido amable y cercano, facilitando nuestra estancia. Abdel nos regaló un mapa de la zona y nos dio recomendaciones para movernos por la ciudad. El día del check out guardaron nuestras maletas para poder finalizar cómodamente unas compras por la zona. Instalaciones bien cuidadas y tuvimos limpieza y cambio de toallas diario. Desayuno tradicional muy bueno. Muchas gracias!!!!

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Everything was incredible! From the second we stepped foot inside to the second we left, we were made to feel so welcome. The Riad itself is gorgeous and in such a great, easily accessible area. The room was quaint (as expected) but so cute and perfect for what we needed. The staff were truly incredible, we really couldn’t fault the hospitality - they walked us through everything we needed to know and ensured we knew they were there if we had any questions. The breakfast was soooo good too!!! They even let us use the communal areas for as long as we wanted after checkout, before walking us to our airport transfer. And, helped us printout boarding passes for the flight home. Genuinely such a beautiful, calm place to stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026De locatie was perfect dichtbij alles. Op korte afstand van de mooiste plekken. De riad is niet te bereiken met de auto maar ze kwamen ons ophalen bij de taxi plaats. Daar kan het wat chaotisch zijn maar ze lopen altijd even met je mee.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026We really loved this hotel – it’s cozy, very clean, and the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend booking the hotel transfer, as it might be quite difficult to find the location on your own, especially the first time. The rooftop terrace is wonderful, with beautiful relaxation areas – perfect for unwinding. Also, don’t miss the hammam experience, and be sure to book a massage – it was probably one of the best we have ever had!
