Chalet Stöckli

The room and shared bathroom were very clean, the room looked cozy and cute and actually much better than in the pictures. It is a 'sister hostel' of a nearby larger hotel which provided breakfast in the morning and there is a receptionist there. The location was good, close to Interlaken and about 10 mins walk from the Wilderswil train station. The staff were friendly and there was always something at reception during the day if you need something.

Minor points: You cannot use a kettle in the room (in fact kettle was not provided) due to the wood used to construct the building. The breakfast was good but mostly cold food and not a good selection of vegetarian options. And cash only for the tourist tax (but you can go to the ATM at the station and the staff were understanding and allowed us to pay it the next day). The thing that bothered us more was that the soundproofing in the rooms is poor, you can hear every time neighbours go in/out of their rooms/bathroom and you can hear people talking quite clearly.

Chalet typique dans un village, au début de la vallée de Lauterbrunnen, typique et calme. Parking juste à côté gratuit ( c'est rare en Suisse ! ) Petit déjeuner au restaurant de l'hôtel avec un buffet copieux ( produits de region ) et bien varié

Le chalet est une dependance de l'hotel-restaurant voisin, où il faut faire les check in et check out sans accueil francophone. ( quelques difficultés bien résolues pour retrouver la réservation booking ). Chambre à l'étage , sans ascenseur . Personnel aimable Bien noter que la salle de bain est partagée ( cela nous avait échappé ) Restauration possible dans le restaurant de l'hotel ( menu correct, mais même l'eau du robinet est facturée ...)

Parkplatzsituation war etwas schwierig/eng, jedoch noch ein Platz verfügbar. Frühstück nicht besonders ansprechend was die Auswahl (v.a. Käseplatte) angeht, aufgefüllt wurde z.B. auch erst auf Nachfrage. Die Situation mit dem offenen, kochenden Wasser für die Frühstückseier halte ich im übrigen für sehr gefährlich! Kommen wir zum Zimmer: vllt habe ich es überlesen, aber kein eigenes Badezimmer zu haben und sich die Dusche/Toilette teilen zu müssen war extrem befremdlich. Vllt sollte man das nochmal konkreter betonen/kenntlich machen. Keine Klimaanlage im DG zu haben, war auch katastrophal diesen Sommer! Insgesamt ist das Chalet extrem hellhörig und zur Aussicht aus unserem Fenster muss ich denke ich nicht viel sagen… :-) Tipp: malt auf diese Fläche doch ein Bild der Nordwand oder hängt eins auf, das gäbe dem Ganzen wenigstens etwas Charme und Witz! Ansonsten fand ich es auch sehr unangemessen, nachts noch einmal im Zimmer anzurufen zu werden und an die Rezeption zitiert zu werden (Gebäudewechsel), weil vergessen wurde, den Hund abzurechnen. Gastfreundlich wäre gewesen, dies beim Auschecken zu begleichen. Unsere Restaurantrechnung, die urspr. auf unser Zimmer geschrieben wurde, sollte dann auch direkt beglichen werden - an sich nicht problematisch, aber es hatte einen Faden Beigeschmack jungen Menschen gegenüber. Insgesamt habe ich mich als Gast in dem grds. hübschen Gasthof leider nicht sonderlich willkommen und wohl gefühlt! Sorry!

The staff were really great and helpful, and the restaurant at the hotel has exceptional food! Wilderswil is a great spot to use as a base. Accom is about a 10 min walk from the train but there is a semi regular bus you can hop on if timing suits.

No aircon or fans which was tough in summer. Also no form of kitchenette or utensils in the room which didn’t bother us too much but I do wish we had at least a fridge to keep drinks cold.

El chalet Stockli debe ser un anexo del Hotel Alpenbrick. Muy bonito el edificio. Pero estuvimos en otro anexo sin aire acondicionado ni ventiladores.Y tuvimos que pagar 160 fr.s. para tener baño privado. En Suiza hay que tener cuidado si quieres baño privado. Precio/ calidad muy alto.

Salle de bain et wc commun. Isolation avec la chambre du dessus , bruits du plancher. Pas de climatisation.

L’accueil très chaleureux, avec de très bons conseils sur les balades à faire dans la région. Les chambres refaites à neuf sans perdre le style original montagnard du chalet, le petit-déjeuner très copieux et finalement la tranquillité du lieu. Malheureusement, notre emploi du temps ne nous a pas offert l’occasion de déguster les plats du restaurant étoilé de l’hôtel lié au chalet.

Un ventilateur aurait été apprécié, vu les très hautes températures que nous avons eues durant la nuit.

Nada, todo perfecto

An ideal room for both long and short stays. Perfect lighting, fast internet, and a comfortable mattress. The cable TV worked exactly as it should. Very tasteful décor and high-quality finishes. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early, which we really appreciated since we were a bit tired after several days of hiking. Highly recommended!

There is absolutely nothing to find fault with, even if you really tried.

Wilderswil is a gorgeous Swiss village, a short drive to Grindelwald. It was very cool to stay in an old chalet. The staff were very kind and accommodating - we asked for our freezer packs to be put in a freezer over the night and it was absolutely no problem. The room was cosy and cute, not too hot during the night for us. The shared bathroom was right across the hall and very clean. We loved having a sink in our room. The breakfast was excellent!! The best breakfast we've ever had on a trip!

Expensive for a room with a shared bathroom but unfortunately I think this is just normal for Switzerland.

Chalet authentiques de style alpin, région exceptionnelle avec des panoramas sublimes et surtout proximité avec les vallées de lauterBrunen et Grindelwald pour aller randonner (voiture indispensable car un peu excentré)

Un point qui nous a beaucoup déçus est celui de devoir payer la taxe de séjour obligatoirement en liquide, non annoncé en amont. En "bonus" cette somme est franchement majorée pour les paiements en euros ( ex nous étions redevables de 14 CHF soit 15.10E au taux actuel , et nous avons dû régler 20 euros) sans facture...

L'emplacement est correct. Les lits aussi. Le peit déjeuner est très bien, le personnel est efficace. Un serveur parlait très bien français.

L'accueil est à améliorer. Il y a une commission si la taxe de séjour n'est pas en espèces! Il faut partager une salle de bains avec une autre chambre et la nuitée est quand même chère. Pas d'information sur la possibilité de réduction sur les transports locaux. Nous étions contents de repartir.

Mir gefielen die Einrichtungen, das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und bot köstliches Brot. Außerdem war das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.

Meine Beschwerde betrifft das bereitgestellte saubere Handtuch, das jedoch einen braunen Fleck von einer unbekannten Substanz aufwies. Außerdem musste ich um mehr Seife im Zimmer und im Badezimmer bitten.

Das Zimmer ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Etagendusche ist ok. Aber es ist ein grosser Vorteil, dass im Zimmer auch ein Lavabo vorhanden ist. Die Parkplätze sind in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels. Das Stöckli ist unmittelbar hinter dem Hauptgebäude, wo das Morgenessen gegessen wird. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Es war spannend, mit ihnen einen Morgenschwatz zu halten.

Great quiet location with excellent public transportation access! The facilities were clean and the staff very helpful and responsive. A great place to stay outside, but close to Interlaken!

We stayed in the hostel rooms which were very nice. You just need to be aware that you will be sharing a restroom and shower with other guests on your floor!

The location is nice. We came by car and could park at the hotel parking lot for free. All the nearby landmarks were easily accessible. The hotel is clean and the lady at the reception is friendly. The interior of the room is modern and nice.

Unfortunately, despite the recent renovation, the rooms are not soundproof. If you have any neighbours with children, believe me, you'll hear every cry. Squeaky wooden floor boards and stairs make the most annoying sounds when people walk on them, which they do quite often, because there's only one bathroom on each floor for 3 rooms. That was also a bad surprise, because it's easy to overlook that the bathroom is shared in the room's description. The hotel is definitely overpriced considering the lack of soundproofing and a shared bathroom. There's no balcony, no nice view and it was hot in the room though it was in April. The room itself is tiny. If you need a good night sleep and comfort, book something else.

La chambre très bien équipée et "cosy", le lit confortable, le calme absolut. Un petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec du très bon pain frais et beaucoup de produits, locaux ou faits maison. Le personnel très agréable. L'ambiance "chalet" rustique mais néanmoins très bien équipé. Super RQP.

Die Anreise war etwas kompliziert, die Navigation hat die Unterkunft nicht gefunden ! Wir sind ganze Zeit hin und her gefahren und haben mehrmals angerufen, viele Personen auf die Straße angesprochen , wo genau die Unterkunft sich befinden, leider war es sehr kompliziert es zu finden ! Ansonsten war alles gut :)

We wisten dat het een gedeelde badkamer was. Maar dat zullen we niet snel nog een keertje doen.

Breakfast and staff at the breakfast was great. Julie, franciso and michelle were outstanding. Food was good as well. We enjoyed our stay here, it’s also pet friendly but ask in advance to get a pet friendly room.

creo que no se explicó bien que tenía baño compartido. Las habitaciones son ruidosas, por ser de madera.

最大的亮点是早餐非常丰富而且味道很好。连住两天，中途也有帮忙整理打扫房间。前台的接待女士非常友好。小镇很安静，人比较少。但好在几分钟开外有个平价的便利店。

下楼梯的时候声音会比较大。房间稍微有点窄。共用浴室没有单人浴室方便，但好在房间内设有洗漱台，所以洗澡也不用排队太久

A nice breakfast was included each day. Bed was comfortable. It was a charming hotel for those staying in the main building. Guests are given a welcome card which enables free transportation around Wilderswil and to Interlaken.

Our stay was disappointing. First, our room was not in the main building, rather in a hostel annex. Our room was small, on the 2nd floor with very steep, tight stairs. It was hot, and a fan was not available (if it had been, they would have charged 10 francs per day). We did not feel welcome to sit on the terrace under the trees for a drink in the evening. We felt it was over-priced for a hostel-type room with a shared bath, a detail we had overlooked in the description.

Une chambre minuscule avec toutefois une literie excellente. Nous n’avions pas fait attention au descriptif et nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une annexe avec une salle de bains minuscule et les toilettes à partager avec les autres chambres de l’annexe. Mauvaise isolation phonique … réveillés par le passage de clients dans l’escalier très grinçant et des suisses allemands longtemps bruyants jusqu’à 2 heures et demi du matin et qui n’avaient visiblement que faire des autres. Seul le petit-déjeuner était excellent. La restauration avait l’air de très bon niveau, mais vu les circonstances, nous avons dîné ailleurs. On est loin des standards d’hospitalité et d’attention accordés au client. Le seul standard bien conforme à l’image suisse réside dans le prix payé. Ancien élève de l’EHL.

Tolle Unterkunft mit kostenlosem Parkplatz vorm Haus. Das Zimmer war groß und modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Mega nettes Personal und das Restaurant ist sehr lecker. Der Koch hat einen Michelin Stern und mehrere Auszeichnungen.

Es war leider sehr hellhörig. Man hörte alles darüber und nebenan. Dass wir ein Gemeinschaftsbad hatten ging leider auch nicht klar aus der Beschreibung hervor. Die müsste man besser kennzeichnen.

Zimmer in einem innen sanft renovierten Nebenhaus zum Hotel, wo das Frühstück angeboten wurde.

Das Hotel (Frühstück) ist schon etwas älter. Etwas mehr „Luft“ würde das Ambiente freundlicher machen.

交通方便，环境优美安静，房间卫生舒适，大小合适。早餐丰富，一楼的餐厅十分美味😋😋😋

除了卫生间浴室公用外，没有任何缺点。

The breakfast was good, and the location was near the train station, parking was available for vehicles at no extra charge, and the restaurant is very good.

I went during the summer, and the room was hot during the day; late at night was fine...and there is no fan or refrigerator in the room. I guess in the winter will be fine.
