Во-первых, надо понимать, что жилье в Лагуше в историческом центре отнюдь не дешевое. Не могу сказать, что отель именно цена/качество, потому что в общепринятом понимании в целом всё жилье в Лагуше по ценам выше других городов юга Португалии. Номера маленькие, но все чисто. Чемоданы на 2-й этаж (лифта нет) нам подняли сотрудники. Парковка бесплатная в 5 минутах ходьбы. В отеле есть маленький бассейн, но никто не купался за время нашего пребывания, хотя самый разгар жаркого сезона. Очень хорошие завтраки, по европейским меркам. Только они начинаются поздно - в 08.30. У нас уже в 09.00 была заказана экскурсия из порта. По нашей просьбе нам разрешили прийти на завтрак в 08.15. В целом, всё хорошо.

Ruhige und doch zentral gelegenes, kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und wenigen Zimmern. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon und perfekter Aussicht, dass zu einem wunderbaren Aufenthalt beigetragen hat.

Tudo muito bonito, bom e bem localizado! A moça que nos recepcionou deu excelentes dicas, e as senhoras que eram responsáveis pelo café da manhã também foram sempre atenciosas e gentis!

Die Lage ist spitze. Süßes Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon. Frühstück war ausreichend.

Das Leintuch löste sich ständig vom Bett, sodass wir morgens immer auf der kahlen Matratze lagen… Das einzige Personal, das wir nach dem Check- In trafen war eine Frau die beim Frühstück anwesend ist aber nicht fragt ob man frischen Café oder Eier möchte :/ das hätten wir uns erwartet. Nach Nachfrage wurde uns jedoch Orangensaft gepresst :)

La zona en la que se encuentra es muy buena. Instalaciones cómodas. Desayuno bien.

El espacio para desayuno es reducido y no permite que dos personas se sirvan a la vez. Como todos los alojamientos, el precio/noche es excesivo para la oferta que tienen.

La bonita y gran habitación, la limpieza, ubicación y sobretodo el.personal. Encantadora la chica que te hace el checkk in y encantadora la chica que está en los desayunos y hace las habitaciones.

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich gut. Trotz der Nähe zum Zentrum war die Unterkunft nicht zu laut. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool und der Balkon sind ein Plus.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und kam etwas billig rüber. Das Frühstück könnte variierter sein.

Todo muy bien, limpio y muy bonito. Puedes dejar el coche a 5 m andando en un parking público gratis, que es un punto a favor. El desayuno casero está bien, y la ubicación en todo el centro.

Everything is perfect. Small but has everything you need plus more. Even pool is small but all you need for a cool down. Excellent breakfast and lovely staff from the check I. Yo breakfast helpers. Perfect location.

Es hat alles gut gefallen! Das Einzige, das nicht so gut war, war die Dachschräge.

This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast. The experience was exceptional and I would definitely stay here again. The check in was easy, the breakfast was so fresh and the selection was amazing. They place is so nice, clean and spacious. The staff is so nice. They had beach towels and beach umbrellas you could use for the day. The location was amazing. We walked everywhere!

Location was superb - 1/2 block away from where you want to be for restaurants, shopping and people watching. Room was comfy, breakfast was awesome, and overall vibe was more like a bed/breakfast than a hotel.

Gute Lage, angenehmes Haus, Wenn man zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus nach Lagos kommt.

Beim Frühstück hätten wir uns etwas mehr Süßspeisen, frisches Brot, etwas mehr zeitliche Flexibilität gewünscht

L’emplacement est idéal et on y est très bien reçu. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. De plus, deux petites bouteilles de porto belle attention.

Great apartment with stunning city views from the balcony and room window. Small detail in the room was lovely - port on arrival, fresh water in the room. We arrived by bus, and it was a short walk to the accommodation from the bus station.

Frühstück sehr lecker. Auf dem Zimmer war eine Karaffe Wasser die täglich aufgefüllt wurde. Auch zwei Fläschchen Portwein mit Nüssen und Gebäck standen bereit.

Breakfast ok, but buffet table was too cramped leaving no room to put my plate. Not too well insulated from noise in next room.

Vi ringede på forhånd og fortalte hvornår vi ankom. Da vi ankom blev vi modtaget af en venlig ung dame der viste os rundt. Vi fik en meget dejligt værelse, med en lille gang og et dejligt soveværelse med udsigt til gaden. Vi fik også to små flasker med henholdvis portvin og muscatel i velkomstgave, der var også to små kager og lidt nødder. Meget fint. Sengen var god og morgenmaden var også fin. Vældig hyggeligt sted, en positiv oplevelse.

Det er ikke muligt at parkere lige i nærheden, men forholdvis kort derfra er der en gratis offentlig parkeringsplads, hvor man lige skal være opmærksom på, at de går rundt og viser på plads er helt selvbestaltede.

Sehr gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft. Wir hatten diese spontan noch am gleichen Tag gebucht und alles verlief unkompliziert und reibungslos ab. Das Personal war super freundlich und und die Unterkunft super zentral gelegen. 4 min entfernt gab es auch eine großen kistenlosen Parkplatz zum parken.

Uriges Quartier in der Altstadt. Innen alles stimmig.

Tunnelmallinen huone, jossa parveke. Huoneessa oli myös hedelmiä, pähkinöitä ja viiniä, joka oli mukava lisä. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Sai myös appelsiineista puristettua mehua. Sijainti myös hyvä.

I had a room under the roof with a great balcony. You have to mind your head in the room. A lot of stairs to climb. I wonder what had happened in case of a fire. Breakfast was ok and I really appreciated the fresh orange juice.

Velmi pěkné a stylové ubytování, kompletně a vkusně vybavený pokoj, příjemný welcome set s portským :-), milá paní recepční, blízkost pěšky do centra Lagos, celkově moderní a čisté vybavení celé Residence, vynikající snídaně, tiché místo.

Místní úzká (hodně) ulička a velmi malá možnost na zaparkování auta u Residence.

Location was ideal. Breakfast was good. Nice to have port and a bottle of water in the room.

Shower wasn’t great (cubicle leaked). Water was discoloured on one day. Bed quite hard.

Stanza romantica luminosa, con vista sui tetti e terrazzino vista mare. Letto confortevole.Bagno comodo provvisto di tutto,compresi due morbidi accappatoi oltre agli Asciugamani. Presente un piccolo frigo,la cassaforte, un piccolo assaggio di vino Porto con Dolcetti, frutta e un bollitore con tisane. Super colazione dolce e salata. Struttura in pieno centro.Noi siamo arrivati in auto e siamo riusciti a parcheggiare nella vietta del residence.E' molto stretta (come tutte le vie del centro) e con pochi posti.In alternativa a 5 minuti a piedi si arriva a parcheggi pubblici gratuiti.

Magari aggiungerei una macchinetta per espresso con le cialde.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war im obersten Stockwerk, ohne Lift, unter dem Dach, schon eher klein aber fein. Wasser und Portwein standen zur Verfügung, kleine Dachterrasse, Sicht über die Altstadt. Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft war gut und ausreichend

Das Badezimmer war sehr klein inklusive Dusche, die Dachbalken im Zimmer sind schön her gerichtet aber man muss sich immer daran erinnern, dass nicht im ganzen Zimmer aufrecht gestanden werden kann

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt. Stilvoll und freundlich eingerichtet. Hier passt einfach alles.

Die Lage war top. Wir hatten sogar ein Zimmer mit Balkon und einer tollen Aussicht. Ausserdem gab es Wein und Nüsse, das hat uns sehr gefallen.

Die Betten im obersten Stock waren extrem hart.

Das Dachzimmer ist ein Traum! Lichtdurchflutet und mit einer kleinen Terrasse. Frühstück auch top!

I had a wonderful stay at Residence Lagos Hotel – the location is perfect right in the heart of the old town, and my room on the second floor with a balcony offered a beautiful view over the city and the sea. Even though it rained a lot during my visit, I really appreciated the cosy lounge area right outside my room, where I could relax on the sofas and get some work done on my laptop. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice, was truly very good and served with great warmth.

Lite lite lyhört kanske men inget jag brydde mig om eftersom det är så få rum i byggnaden och bra folk.

La localisation est top ! Proche du centre de Lagos et avec un parking gratuit à proximité. Le petit déjeuner est correct et les personnes en charge de celui ci très serviables. Le rapport qualité prix est bon. L’attention avec la bouteille de vin offerte est agréable.

Le bruit ! Simple vitrage donc vu qu’on est au centre le bruit ne manque pas. Literie correcte mais sans plus. Par contre le couvre lit et les tapis sont vraiment pas terribles 😅. TV dans la chambre placée de façon très spéciale et surtout difficile à regarder du coup. Frigo trop bruyant. Branché durant notre absence de la chambre autrement insupportable. Maintenant nous étions là pour visiter donc la chambre a fait le taf…

La chambre très mignonne sous les toits avec vue sur mer et balcon. Le lieu du petit déjeuner avec terrasse. L’agencement de l’hôtel très bien conçu. L’accueil à l’arrivée et la bouteille de vin offerte.

L’absence de prise électrique juste à côté du lit pour charger le téléphone. Le manque d’étendoir pour les serviettes. L’accueil inégal selon les jours (très bien le dimanche) pour le petit-déjeuner.

Das Personal war superfreundlich u die Lage des Hotels war für uns perfekt. Wer kleine Unterkünfte mit familiärer Atmosphäre mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Für uns hat alles gepasst. Wer sein Auto gern direkt am Hotel parkt, sollte wissen, dass das Parken in der Altstadt eine echte Herausforderung ist. Ein großer kostenfreier Parkplatz befindet sich aber 5min vom Hotel entfernt:-).

The breakfast was very good, fresh everyday. Laundry service was good, clean towels everyday and bed made.

Accueil parfait dans un lieu rempli de charme au cœur de la vieille ville de Lagos. Petit déjeuner excellent avec jus de fruit frais pressé. Chambre spacieuse avec vue magnifique sur les toits et la mer.

Located in easy walking distance to everything, yet quiet in the evenings. Good size room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Well kept and extremely clean. I enjoyed my stay, the staff friendly and helpful. The only thing you need to know is parking is a few blocks away, and it’s not easy to park in front and drop your bags off.

This is not a hotel. It is more like a b&b. It doesn’t look anything like in their website photos. Their advertised price in August for our September dates was 200 euros a night which is what we paid!! If only I knew that it wasn’t a hotel. The reviews are misleading. There is no reception. Our check in was very quick. No cooked breakfast and swimming pool (if you call it that) is a joke. At check in when I enquired why it so expensive, I was told it was because I booked in advance and they gave me the best room. This was a lie. Just a perspective, our next stop was faro where we stayed in a well known 5 star chain and paid 250euros pn and it had 2 proper pools, a spa , an excellent breakfast and 24 hour reception service. We also booked it at the same time as residence. Don’t book here expecting much. It’s fine if you want basic.

Had a wonderful time. Felt very welcomed as soon as we arrived with the friendly receptionist giving us a tour of the hotel and giving us info on the area. Hotel is right inside the old city which made exploring really easy as you doing want to be driving on the narrow streets. Very clean, quiet and breakfast was great!

This is more of a b&b rather than a hotel. It has 7 rooms. Doesn’t look anything like in their web photos There is nothing wrong with it if you are paying a fair price and not 200 euros pn like I did. The rooms are basic with creaking doors and noisy fridge. No individual bedside lights ( was suggested I take one bulb out!!)There is no one in the property after breakfast so you for example can’t refill your bottle of water. The check in was swift and friendly and there were little lovely gestures like a bottle of wine in room and cookies on checking out. The breakfast was adequate with boiled egg for hot. Everything else cold. Fresh orange juice was a nice treat. Perspective of pricing, I have been travelling from north to south of Portugal for last 2 weeks. I have come to my next stop faro where I am staying at a well known 5 star hotel. I booked all the hotels in advance at the same time. Here I paid 250 euros pn for a superior room and it has 24 hour service and oool and spa. So my conclusion is that you should get what you pay.

The staffs were friendly/helpful; it's located in downtown with everything is within walking distance. The room is quirky nice in the attic with a private balcony with a view of the surrounding area and the ocean.

We loved our stay at Residence!! The property is in such an amazing location - 20 seconds walk from lots of restaurants, bars, shops and more, yes it's quiet and private. Luana and the staff were super friendly and keep the rooms and common areas so clean and tidy. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again!!

This property was exceptional, our host was very helpful and welcoming it is a great relaxing space with a small pool. We had the two up stairs rooms with balconies and shared lounge room. The breakfast offering was very good and the cook was great.

The cook needs a new juicer she spent most of her time juicing which took her away from serving patrons. There also needs to be a better option for the hot water other than a thermos which is very hot and a bit dangerous.

The hotel is small, with only a few rooms, which makes it quiet, clean, and full of character. It has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the location is excellent. The staff were truly friendly and wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic location in Lagos. Super cute facility, very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice common sitting areas, both inside and out. There is no lift/elevator, and 2 of the rooms are: down a small set of stairs, then up a long circular set, then up another long circular set. Be ready for that with luggage! The staff are happy to help with that. And some of the rooms don't require so many stairs. The free public parking lot is a 3-5 minute walk on uneven cobblestone. It can be very busy/full. The streets are narrow, one-way, and not on a grid so getting to the parking lot when you are unfamiliar with the area can be more challenging than you might expect. Be prepared for a little bit of "arrival frustration."

Wonderful rooms, staff, and a great breakfast buffet which is a rare find in Portugal.

La ubicación a muy pocas cuadras del casco antiguo, ideal para salir a caminar y comer por la noche. Muy hospitalaria la dueña Nos tocó un cuarto en la buhardilla muy simpático con un lindo balconcito con vistas a la ciudad.

El auto es un problema en los cascos históricos. Sin embargo hay un Parking público a unas 4 cuadras gratis. Al aire libre.

La ubicación y que la habitación tuviese terraza.

A la habitación le faltan algunas reformas, sólo nos pusieron gel el primer día, el WC estaba bastante amarillo

This place was ok. No staff was there when we arrived and rang mid day but a phone call fixed that. The staff person was welcoming and friendly once we met her. The stay was average-to-good. The good: it’s a decent location near the center of Lagos but away from the main drag and all its activity and noise. It was clean. What could improve: They didn’t provide enough toiletries for example shampoo and soap to last through the stay. The furnishings felt dated. The safe was not large enough to hold a laptop. It didn’t feel like there was a lot of privacy for example in terms of hearing the rooms next to you but this is to be expected in an old guesthouse. Overall I would not stay there again. Other people might enjoy it more.
