Overpriced.

Host let us check in early and was very accommodating. Late checkout was not available but they held our bags and let us show after our last day of skiing!

The location was great. It was small but enough room for a couple. Comfortable beds and bedding. Clean

We had one of the older, dated apartments. While, clean it was very old and retro. However, the mgmt has already renovation some of the apartments and will eventually do them all, as well as the spa. Nice view of the Matterhorn from our terrace.

Great location only steps away from the Furi lift which takes you to the Matterhorn. The rooms had everything you need with decent wifi and cooking supplies. We could see the Matterhorn from our room which was nice. We also appreciated being able to store our ski gear in their ski room.

The beds consist of cheap mattresses which I would say are worse than most hostels I’ve stayed at. Also the rooms are musty and are in need of some major updating. There is an odor that slaps you in the face every time you walk into the room. Lastly, I want to comment on the poor service. We had 11 family members staying in two rooms. The employee working the front desk only gave us 10 room keys. When I went back to ask for another he exclaimed that he gave me 11 keys and said, “You have an extra person you’re hiding from me.” I was taken aback because it felt like I was talking to the Gestapo in 1933 Germany. I reassured him we only have 11 people, and he said, “Well I will come by and check on your room while you’re gone to see how many people you have.” I told him he could come by whenever he wanted and then he seemed to back off a bit and he finally gave me an additional key. I’ve never experienced such nasty behavior from a front desk worker. So just as an FYI, count your card keys when you pick them up, and then don’t lose any of them because I can only imagine how difficult he would be if he had to reissue one.

It had everything we needed from kitchen ware to ski boot heating. Staff is friendly and location is great.

The apartment is about 200 m away from the gondola, about 10 minutes walk to the town center, where have lot of restaurants and stores. We can see the peak of Matterhorn from one of our bedrooms. They are washing machines and dryers in the public area. We enjoyed our ski trip in Eva Paradise apartment very much.

The location was very convient to many things including the ski gondola and the town

The staff were so kind and helpful, everything was super neat and well described. They responded very quick to our messages. Nice facilities and close to the gondola and ski rental. We were very pleased as a big group of 11 where it can be hard to find something affordable!!

The view of the Matterhorn from our apartment balcony was stunning. It was so amazing to wake up each morning and see the different moods of the Matterhorn. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the apartment from the train station. Check-in was easy with someone to meet us at reception. Cooking facilities were adequate and all that we required.

The room was small, with a pull-down bed, but we knew that prior to booking.

Great view of the Matterhorn from our room balcony. Comfortable room with adequate kitchen facilities. Near the cable car station to Matterhorn Paradise. Good value. A little bit of a walk - 15-20 minutes - from the train station, with a slight incline which can be taxing with luggage. But you can call for a taxi.

A little difficult to find. You need to go through a tunnel and look for the Check-in elevator towards the end (but not at the very end) of the tunnel. The sign says "Eva/Paradis" (not Apartments Zermatt Paradis).

The location is perfect. I could see Matterhorn from the balcony all day long. The hotel is in the hidden upper area, quiet with few buildings between the Matterhorn and me! There is a lift to go up to the reception floor and I didn't need to climb by myself. It is close to the ropeway station. There is no breakfast but I could order a local bakery delivery service.

A bit far away from Zermatt station if you are planning to use only the Gornergrat Bahn. The bed is narrow, but the room is good enough as like a mountain cottage.

Excellent apartment with fantastic room! The hotel is located 15 mins walk away from the train station, but it is only 2 mins away from the cable car station that takes you to most of the mountain stations. We stayed in a room on the first floor facing south, and the Matterhorn was directly visible from the terrace, which is all we could ask for a room in Zermatt. The room comes with two comfortable murphy bed, which could be folded into the wall for more space, but we never did because it was perfectly enough for two of us. The kitchen in the room is fully equipped with all you need for simple cooking, which is a life changer for stay in Zermatt. We ended up cooking every single meal in the kitchen, and having them in our terrace, while enjoying the magnificent view of Matterhorn. The host were very nice and helpful. We did our laundry with the shared washer and dryer in the lobby. The host even had the detergent prepared so no need to buy or bring ourselves. Will definitly rebook if I visit Zermatt once again.

The location was amazing. The view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was stunning. This area has a ton of trails accessible and leading up to the mountains. It was a treasure. The space was great even if vintage decor and original construction. We had everything we needed. The secondar bedrooms could benefit from some darker curtains as they were super bright in the morning. The beds could use a pillow top to add to the overall comfort. All in all a great stay. Would stay again!

I think if you remove the door from the kitchen it would allow for easier use in the kitchen space. The door is in the way!

I loved the cave entrance, that was amazing and completely unexpected. The rooms are simple and perfectly decorated to make you feel like you are stepping back in Swiss time. The views are to die for. I loved having a place to do my laundry mid vacation.

The host arranged the 2 rooms close to each other for us. Three are washing machine and dryer at the reception and the host explained to us how to use it. It is 3 CHF per used. 3 minutes walk to the cable car station to Matterhorn.

i love the sauna. The entrance to the property is quite unique and a good experience. The staff was really helpful and nice. excellent services, perfect view of Matterhorn. stunning view while having a breakfast in the balcony. peaceful and quiet.

Property is very well located for the Matterhorn express lift. Has a good ski room to store all your equipment. Each apartment had a well stocked kitchen should you wish to eat in some evenings or even for breakfast and there are a number of decent supermarkets in the town which aren't too expensive with a small supermarket just down the road which is also beside a nice bakery and ski rental shop. Rooms were clean and comfy and bathroom was decent. Very easy access to the main town and can easily walk to anywhere in the town from the apartments. Washing machine is not in your room but there is a dedicated washing area which the host was very helpful in showing me how to use both washer and dryer. In fact, host was very helpful overall. Apartment was the one highlight of the week. Felt a little disappointed with the ski area as a whole.

Lack of sockets in the rooms. Make sure to bring a multi-plug extension lead and all will be good.

It’s really good experience. Nice location, very near to Matterhorn Express. Here is free shuttle bus to train station. Near to grocery shop. Full kitchen wears. Good size of rooms.

Paradies Zermatt Apartment is an excellent accommodation and base for skiing and visiting Zermatt. The apartment was large, comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The kitchen had everything one needed to cook up a good meal when so desired. The bed was comfortable. The view out on the porch and across town was very nice. Laundry facilities are available conveniently on site. The steam sauna is a very nice touch and greatly welcomed after a day of skiing. The apartment is well located just a few tens of meters to the Matterhorn express lift and a short walk of about five minutes to the north end of the main strip in town. We actually walked there from the train station. It was about a 15 minute walk with luggage. Finally, the hospitality was excellent; all of our questions and needs were kindly taking care of. I am sometimes hesitant to book apartment-type accommodations as check-in and assistance can be problematic, but the manager was on site most hours of the day and always available.

We actually had no complaints during our stay there.

Nicest host we had ever had. Our apartment was well equipped and clean. Was the best stay we have done in every way Johan exceed our expectations. He was wonderful and our kids loved him too. We will be back

The location was fantastic!!! A very easy and short walk to the gondola. The room was clean and cozy with a working kitchen. The amenities, such as the large ski locker room and spa were much appreciated. The view of the Matterhorn is impressive! It's right there out your window. It is so close, it feels like you can touch it while standing on your balcony. Very cool! The front desk staff was most helpful and friendly.

The room seemed a tad awkward at first, but actually it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and more than enough to have a wonderful holiday! And the view of the Matterhorn was awesome!!!

New experience to walk through a tunnel to the apartment

Million dollar view from balcony loved watching black squirrels racing and fox slinking across the back garden. Run by a family and you can tell; everything you could ever need to home cook, comfortable beds and super clean This would be a place great for groups, big spaces to get together but own private sleeping place. We loved it.

The apartment had an amazing view of the Matterhorn. For a studio it had pull-down beds which gave space during the day. A well equipped kitchen. The tunnel to it was a novelty. The host was very accommodating

The apartment was clean but had a slight musty smell and we had an issue with the bathroom fan.

Fabulous fully equipped and comfortable unit with table and chairs on the balcony that has a world class view of the Matterhorn from a lovely park like setting.

The owner is very nice guy and helpful. The location is great. Very good views to the town as the property locates on top of a hill. I liked the balcony and views to the village. I liked the peacefulness of that area of the town. And also very convenient access thru the tunnel and elevator to the property. Very close to Zermatt Glacier Express Cable car.

Nothing that I didn't like. I liked everything. Just a friendly suggestion for adding microwave and for replacing the sofa with a more comfortable and bigger one.

The entrance to the property was very unique as you have to walk through a long tunnel to get to the elevator that takes you up to the reception and rooms. Very cool! Check-in was smooth and staff very friendly. We stayed in a room on the south side which has a really nice view of the Matterhorn. Unfortunately it was cloudy most of the time we were in our room. Paradies is about a 15-20 minutes walk from the station with very nice views of the village and the mountains, so we walked every time. Though there are electric taxis if it's too far for you or if you have a lot of luggage.

Awesome views and wonderful host from family Biner. You can hear lots of birds and watch deers in wee morning.

Breakfast was not part of this apartment. The apartment was beyond my expectation. Perfect location and the apartment the host were exceptional.

The location of the property is very close to the ski areal, so You dont have to take the taxi to get there.

Very nice stay, room comes with everything you need and more. great friendly staff a family owned place. Full kitchen is well equipped and washer/dryer in lobby work very well. Very close to lift and close to nightlife/food. Also for the price it was extremely affordable considering we got a view of Matterhorn from our room. Will definitely stay here again if I’m blessed with the opportunity to come to Zermatt again.

Wonderful apartment walking distance to everything Zermatt has to offer. You can see the Matterhorn from your back deck!!

It was clean and modern with nice access to the shared outdoor space. The coffee maker and coffee were both great. It had an interesting entrance through a long tunnel. We were in a newer section of the property.

Nicely appointed apartment. Very comfortable for a family. Easy to set out on hikes to Gorber Gorge, Blatten, Pensioners’ Walk, etc.

The tunnel plus the stairs up to apartment makes for a lot of lugging of luggage. Then again this is a hiking town!

Facilities

Fabulous spot and view, unique chalet. Loved the tunnel - very cool! The property is definitely on the older side but this adds to it a character - everything clean and comfortable. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The view from the balcony to matterhorn was amazing. The location is close to the Matternhorn Glacier cable car. It’s not that far from the city center also.

It seems like there are some rooms that have been renovated and some have not. We got one of the old rooms and that was outdated. The furniture was very old and warn out. The smell from the room was the worst we have ever expirenced.

I bit of an uphill walk from the train station.

The place is very good,the manager is very friendly.The most important thing is that the breakfast bread is very delicious.

There are too few holidays to play.

everything was superb in this accomodation! the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and facilities were in top condition, there was enough space for luggage and more and the best part was the balcony view! perfect view of the Matterhorn Mountain

the tunnel entrance was a bit of a walk with luggage but not unmanageable. Although I’ve heard it’s quite rare, I did have bed bug bites on the second night we were staying here. My friend had none and we were in the same space so it may have been some bad luck.
